I started trying to get a flight with easyJet, it was such a bad experience I can here. You should thank the easyJet developers for producing total garbage. This app is much better (although the bar is not high).

Charging for random seating
Reaching a new low - I am being forced to pay to choose a seat - I want random seat allocation. I have a message saying I cannot select random seating unless I get to the airport early. Both the website and the app didn’t work
I use Vueling to fly back and forth to Barcelona every month. I tried several times to use the new website and found it didn’t work. My girlfriend who is Spanish tried also and she gave up. In the end I used the app which isn’t great but allowed me to at least progress to payment, unfortunately it then told me that it couldn’t complete the transaction. Terrible experience all round and I am sure that this will cost you customers and money.

Very frustrating tech
It’s taken me the whole weekend to book a couple of simple flights. The tech is terrible. First I couldn’t change my login email. Had to create a new account. Then have to email in to delete old account (but only managed to get email address after calling up). Then the system just sends to an error page if you ask to collect Avios with your guest passenger. So have to sign in on another device to get through the glitch. Then I had to rebook several times as couldn’t work out what baggage was included (summary doesn’t tell you). And finally when I paid apparently there was a glitch on the system so have to check if I get a confirmation in the next 12 hours or call up again. Never again.

Overall good app- low rate due to poor customer service
Benn using Vueling for the past years pretty regularly. Usually things are smooth and organised until you will need customer arrive.
1- I never manage to collect points and my log in have issues that supprt team never solved (multiple emails and long waiting on calls).
2- if there is a flight issues it’s usually cheaper and shorter just to book another flight as it will take you a lot longer to get support.
Still use Vueling as lot and hope one day they will see how loyal I am and finally allow me to log in to my account : ))

Lost my wife’s suitcase on our honeymoon
They lost my wife’s suitcase on our honeymoon. Completely ruined our wedding celebrations. Everything was in there. We flew from
Birmingham to Barcelona to Mallorca, both flights with Vueling airlines. So there’s absolutely no excuse for them losing it. It’s the next day now and the online bag searcher is still saying suitcase has not been found. It’s absolutely devastating for us and from Vueling it’s an absolute disgrace.

Worst airline with zero customer support
Vueling will cancel flight one after another and there will no one to answer you. I booked return flight from Paris to London and they cancelled 2 days before but I was already in Paris by that time. When I tried to contact them at Airport, staff had no idea what will be alternative travel options or any flights can be provided. I am currently in Paris with no option to return my home. No one answering over call, email is sending auto replies saying mailbox is full.
Never ever book from Vueling.

Intermittent access
After making the booking and printing off my tickets I had a great deal of problems logging into my account through the app and only just managed to download the departure tickets. I was unable to log on again either on the app or the website whilst I was away in Spain as it would state “A connection error has occurred. Please try again later.” I was not able to download the return tickets onto the app. I would strongly recommend no one rely on this app for ticket display.

Seat charges
This is the first time I have used Vueling, and it will be the last. I’m happy to pay the correct price for a ticket, but hidden costs are unacceptable. I understand that airlines charge for seat selection, but this is usually done during the initial payment for the flight (or if you wish to change seats). Vueling have added this at the check-in stage, and so I am forced to pay extra on top of what I thought my total ticket would cost. I am tired of companies being disrespectful, always looking for a way to make a extra money off of customers.

Can’t scan multiple checkin documents, hopeless for a family travel.
When it comes to the scan your document, and you have multiple passengers. When you scan a passport/ID card, the others that have been scanned get deleted.
This is not very helpful when it’s lots of people travelling. The idea of scanning is to reduce the time, but then you have to enter it all manually. Basic thing done poorly.

Boarding pass
I have flown with Vueling two or three times a year since they started in Cardiff, this is the first time I have been unable to access my boarding pass , I usually add them to my phone and print them off . I only take hand luggage so I don’t need to queue at the airport, but this time I will have to . Queuing in Cardiff is not a problem but Malaga is a nightmare. Could someone please explain why I can’t download my boarding passes which I have always been able to do at any time before the flight after the seats have been paid for ???? You have just sent me a message to say the app is now working, I can assure you it’s not , I have tried it on my iPhone and my iPad which have worked for years . I am really frustrated by this , I can’t understand why you can’t fix it , it is not just me , my sister flew out to Spain with vueling yesterday, she was unable to download boarding passes. Flying Thursday still unable to download boarding passes , app tells us we are not checked in !!!!!

Worst app experience ever
Would give 0 if I could. This is not really a native app. Large parts just display pages from the website. What’s worse though is that those pages do not work. On my outbound flight I was unable to either select the option for a random seat or choose a seat. Had to resort to the browser where the page worked.
On the last day of my holiday now and I am attempting to upload the documents required for my return flight. I fill in the form and add the documents, click on submit and a message appears to ask if I am a robot and nothing else happens. So remembering my experience with the seat allocation I tried the same process in the browser with sadly the same results. I now have to go to the airport 2 1/2 hours early to have my documents checked.
Will definitely think twice before using Vueling again and the app has now been removed from my phone.

The most difficult check in on line in the world
After providing all the necessary details I kept receiving a message to say I have not sent all the documents. There was no detail of the missing details so after 6 times of sending everything I finally received the go ahead to check in. Talk about make things as difficult as possible. Never again Vueling never.

Refund for flights, impossible
I can not get any response to my claim for a flight refund. Emails go unanswered as do phone calls that cut you off when you eventually get through. Now 8 months on and still no refund or acknowledgment this is being looked at. Shocking service when you consider how easy it was to resolve with EasyJet. Puts me off using Vueling after many years of otherwise excellent service/travel with them from Cardiff

Help at a difficult time
I fly regularly with Vueling but recently I suffered an 8 hour delay at Cardiff Airport due to severe weather damage to our inbound flight, we received excellent service from the ground a Staff including a information letter with full details of our entitlements and how to claim, drinks vouchers initially followed by a meal voucher at all times the staff kept us fully informed and were extremely courteous to some elderly people who were a bit confused, when it came to claiming the compensation it was a simple quick process with no delays or problems, the outbound flight crew could not have been more helpful.
It’s a great shame certain other Airlines do not behave in this manner.
Thank you Vueling for making a difficult day very tolerable.

Vueling convenience and satisfaction
I find you website truly amazing for clarity, ease of use and covers all bases in the most logical way. Some web designed sites are truly extremely complicated and do not seem to follow basic logic for making a flight booking. As a prime example is one of the worlds most used airlines from Turkey, they have a fabulous airline but an appalling illogical web site for booking, it’s fine once you have used is 3 or 4 times if you remember how to get to the next step.....Fabulous booking system well done!!!

Boarding passes not available for iPad and iPhone
Your website and app are hopeless when trying to check in online and getting the actual boarding passes using an iPad and iPhone. I had to end up using my husband’s mobile after wasting 45 minutes as I kept getting the following warning when trying to view the boarding passes: “this option is not available on this device”.

Seats allocation
Unbelievable that there is a limited number of “available random seats” to be allocated during the check in online!!
And once this unknown number of seats runs out, check-in online cannot be competed and can only be done at the desk... this seems to be a scam for customers who must purchase the a seat (11€ being the lowest available price!!) if they want to have the chance to complete the check-in online...

My recent flight to Alicante and back to Cardiff
Everything went perfect; the flights were good and my disabled husband was treated well. The only gripe I have was that when I tried to get in touch with customer services to book disabled help it was impossible to get through. There were so many options on the phone that I felt like I was in a maze. There should be other ways of getting in touch. I finally managed to get in touch via Facebook’s messenger and they sorted it immediately. I hadn’t thought of trying that at first and I was beginning to panic after 10 phone calls to customer services and probably pressing the wrong options.

Time saving app, beware false info in other reviews
This app saves time when checking in because it scans your passport to save you filling in details. I’m hoping it saves personal info too. Someone said it doesn’t allow free checkin - that’s inaccurate, select allocate button at the top. Nearer the time of departure the “free” seats disappear, requiring you to check in at the airport or pay for a premier seat - this is exactly the same as the main website, the app gives a better experience overall

Rubbish customer service
We have paid extra for seats with extra legroom and are only travelling g for a couple of days so have small carry ons. They have not got any room as they have allocated all of the luggage even though we are seats one with extra legroom. They are useless and although other passengers offered to have theirs put under neath they still refused would never ever use this airline again and they were so rude about it too.

Took me few minutes to check in, love the fact that you scan your passport with your phone and all the information is there.
Also good that they don’t ask you every step to extra pay, pay and pay.

Hace to pay to check in last minute (forced to pay for seat selection
Don’t choose this airline for a last minute flight as they force you to pay for an upgraded seat by not allowing you to check in on the app for free and the only alternative being to check in at the desk at the airport if you don’t wish to pay extra. Really crappy service. So I thought ok my flight is early I will pay £15 extra for the seat but then you have to go through the process of putting in credit card details etc instead of just being able to do quick Apple Pay or something you know, 2019. Improve your customer service or modernize your app as you just lost money from me.

Good but with areas to be improvement
If I compare this to BA and EasyJet app, I can clearly see services that could make the consumer’s life easier:
Why can’t you be maintained logged in and see all your bookings instead of having to insert your booking reference every time?
Why don’t you keep the ID’s data stores and just ask for confirmation if it’s correct (EZY does it)? And if not (or people chose to travel with a different document they can change it)
Why do you only let people check in through the app if they BUY a seat, and give us no option at all to travel without buying one? I did not buy one, you allocated me one (the cheapest) and wanted £7 for it. I am going to check in at the airport.

My flight should be departing in 7 minutes from now, this app says it is on time. In REALITY, my flight is delayed by 1 hour and 15 minutes. This app DOES NOT contain the same data as what is available on the screen at the gate. USELESS.

The selection of seats
It is the second time i am checking in with the app and when i introduce my passport details it takes me to the seats selection and when i select random seats which is supposed to be 0 Euros or pounds then it charges me from 5 to 12 pounds. No good, misleading and dishonest. I tried 10 times and always the same outcome so i had to finally pay it because there was no alternative for me to get my boarding passes.

Experienced none of the problems mentioned
Downloaded the app, logged in fine, checked in fine and got my boarding passes through fine.
From reading the other reviews this doesnt appear to be the norm, fingers crossed the flight isnt overbooked.

Can’t check in online like rest of group
Total joke friends checked in won’t let me check in. Is this because there is an apostrophe in my name cause no other airline does it. And then Eva doesn’t work. Completely useless online check in service with no support. If you don’t except apostrophes or characters in names do what BA does and just don’t except them full stop. Need to sort your system out honestly right now don’t even know if you will let me on your flight. Currently can’t imagine ever wanting to fly with you again

Good
When my recent outbound flight was delayed the app was very quick at updating the new flight times and amending these every 10 minutes where necessary which I though was great. The only issue I have at the moment is trying to figure out which terminal I land at on the return journey so I can be picked up. This information isn’t anywhere visible on the app which I think would be very useful.

Before paying there is no confirmation of date time etc. Too easy to make a wrong booking.

Why Bother
Guys, I really, really, really wouldn’t bother downloading this useless app. It took to long to log-in as it had trouble finding my booking reference even though I was copying it directly from Vueling’s own website. Once it managed to find the booking, after many attempts, it went through to my booking page. It asked if I would like to have a copy of my boarding card. The whole reason for downloading the app! It wouldn’t then allow me to have a copy as my device (Apple iPad Air 2) was not supported. This app is a complete waste of time, memory and effort. Maybe the developers should beta test their product to ensure it works before releasing it to the public. An app for an airline can be a fancy and helpful thing but this doesn’t even look fancy let alone work in any shape or form.

Couldn’t even retrieve my flight.
I downloaded this app after reading the reviews on the hope it had been updated. I put in my user name and password and waited, and waited. Eventually an error message popped up and I tried again. Ditto.
The SMS option is unintuitive and confusing. All I seemed to get was the flight details in text and four links to the Mobile website (one for each ticket) none of which worked.
In the end I went back to the website and chose “print” and saved them as PDF’s and emailed them to myself. This app is AN EPIC FAIL. After all these bad reviews you’d think Vueling would do something. It’s a pity. The flights are OK, the magazine and marketing campaigns are great but somehow they haven’t grasped the digital user experience for some weird reason.

The app unfortunately is poor... many times when dates are input for flights it come up as not available on those dates. But if you go online they are...

Terrible app terrible company - use another airline
I booked and bought my tickets. Paid £400. Never receveid a booking confirmation email. I call several times and they don’t know how to solve my problem. They end up telling me the tickets weren’t confirmed by them and so I had to buy some new tickets and ask for a refund. I had to buy again the tickets that of course costed 2 times more and I had extra £30 to call them several times.
THEY ARE THEFTS. GO WITH ANOTHER AIRLANE. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
Also, their app doesn’t work properly as it has multiple bugs and if you change password it doesn’t recognize it.

Terrible
Been trying to download my boarding pass for 2 days - every time I try it leads me back to the same page saying I still need to heck in despite the previous page saying I had checked in correctly. I then tried to use the mobile website which has the same issue. Had to find an Internet cafe to check in on their desktop website, which really took me back a few years. Vueling need to invest in some better ap/web developers ASAP.

Navigation Problems
Whilst the app itself appears to work seamlessly and is easy to retain mobile boarding passes . It is extremely difficult to to print paper boarding passes which is always my preference . With other airline apps it usually gives you an option in the app to print boarding passes but with the Vueling app there is no such option .

Doesn't actually provide boarding pass
I could not access the boarding pass in any way when leaving from Palermo, an airport that doesn't support electronic boarding pass. I could only get the app to send me a useless email with the travel details, not the actual boarding pass.
Thankfully a friend that is used on flying with you from Palermo accessed it from her PC and printed the actual boarding pass for me - I would have printed just the useless email snd not the boarding pass if it were not for her!
You can forgive many things in an airline app: this is not one of them. 1 star until this is fixed. Other problems include incomplete translation from Spanish and the need to wait for the flight page to refresh every time it's loaded.

Trying to get my boarding passes it gives me all but one of them!
I'm flying today and am trying to download my boarding passes to my phone. It works fine for 5 out of 6 passes... For one of them, it tells me I have a connection error whenever I try to download it. I don't have a connection error for any of the other 5!! Please fix this. You need to get the basics right, or everything else you do on the app is pointless!
--update, the response from the developer says 'it should work'. I agree it should, but it doesn't! Please check your analytics to see what is going wrong.
One additional thing, when I go back to the app for my next flight, it has logged me out. Come on, this is 2017. Leave me logged into the app and make it frictionless to download my next boarding pass.
