Don’t bother
Don’t bother, useless service when face with problems, I.e. BBC WILDLIFE MAGAZINE..... I have had constant problems from the beginning with downloading this magazine, numerous emails to no avail, they just don’t respond, they are happy to take your money but reluctant to respond to issues..... very disappointing...

WRT your corrupted downloads, this could be due to your device’s lack of memory or lack of RAM. Graphics take up a lot of both, and can’t then display as other than placeholders. There could also be a problem if you are trying to read them over slow connections, for the same reason.

Love being able to carry all my magazines on phone and tablet.
Just would love a way to bookmark a page/ picture of interest - my personal library within app.
Also to be able to highlight sentences/ paragraph would be great.
I could do this in the hard copy magazines.
A way to send an image to the printer so i can copy a picture.
Otherwise great.

Disappointing
Magazine titles are very good, but the app itself is woeful. It is clunky and cumbersome when trying to manage content across various magazine titles. E.G If I want to download an aviation special title I have to first open that app, download the title. The pocketmag app can then see the title and which point I download it. I then have to go to the other app and delete it to avoid duplicate copies. The process is as longwinded as this review, tedious to say the least.

Not Happy
I can’t use Pocketmags on my IPad as every time I click on the app a message appears asking me to update the app. The app is up to date. So, on clicking update it sends me to the Apple store which asks me to review the app, which I do. Then on clicking the app, the same thing happens over and over.
I can’t read any of my mags and there are a lot which I haven’t yet read.

I have the latest version installed but it won’t allow me access to my library. It tells me that I need to update. Ridiculous! My IOS is the latest but the app thinks it needs to update. Why!

Forced to provide a review.
Told that there is an update to the app which it’s made unavoidable and when you click ok the review box pops up. I checked the App Store for updates and there isn’t one. Shocking tactics or a bad bug as I cannot read my subscriptions any longer.
Update- another stupid bug. If you delete the app and the content and then reinstall then it should fix it. The app checks that you installed the update last week and then doesn’t recognise that you have. A new development team is urgently needed as this has become a PoS.

Avoid!
I paid for a subscription, received an email from App Store to advise me of subscription and the amount I’ve paid only to find it has not downloaded and will not download despite following their instructions to restore downloads. I contacted them several hours ago and awaiting their response, but wish I hadn’t used this app. I only used this app rather than the direct app for the magazine as it said it could be used across my devices i.e. also on my laptop, which I then found out was also not true as there isn’t a recognisable similar app for laptops! Very frustrated and annoyed!

Unreadable
I can only assume some sort of idiot put this together. Magazines display in a multi-column format on my iPhone 8. Take a look at the New Yorker or National Geographic (or indeed, almost any website) to see how to make text readable on a phone.

Too much just doesn’t work
Haven’t been able to get the free mag. Keyboard doesn’t open properly on iPad when trying to do a search. The website is not much better. App needs a lot of development.

Terrible
Really bad app, crashes every time I use it to the point that you can’t actually use it and so makes it a pointless app. Even after several updates it is still rubbish! Wish I had used someone else for my subscription! Avoid!
