Use this for 10m Air Pistol and it usually picks everything up correctly +/- 1 point. Great to be able to track shooting scores averages etc over longer periods of time.

Recent updates have improved speed of shot detection and the accuracy, which were well needed. I've finally discovered the best placement feature for total score if the group was moved- interesting!

Would be great if you could tag competitions, and track averages across them over time- since I set my diary up by club rather than competition. Hindsight suggests the former would actually be more helpful!

Excellent app for training, which is what I'm using it for. My new coach urged me to get it to send reports to him and this is a doddle.

I gave it a 4.5 stars as the scoring accuracy just lacks slightly. However that doesn't affect it for my purposes and I heartily recommend it to any shooter who wants to monitor their progress.

I love this app and use it all the time to track my range shoots.

Only thing I wish is there was more targets or option to program your own target. Only reason is; as a FT shooter I would love to be able to service 10 to 55 yard air rifle targets which is what I shoot.

I saw this software used by my daughter's coaches. Having downloaded it to track her progress and my own (mainly 25 yard targets), the software is easy to set up for two shooters and to scan targets using the iPad and iPhone cameras. For some close groups (50m cards), you may need to retake the image 2 or 3 times. However, the software capture is usually very accurate on the first take.

The tracked session groups and the elevation and windage measurements are all great to help to help correct sights and position.

I bought the additional software to support multiple sessions. This is a great piece of kit to support any novice, club or national shooter.

This app is great for keeping a record of your range shooting. I though the initial setup was a little expensive for the add on diary but having invested in it I’m pleased I did. I can look back over my shooting and chart my progress. It’s great.

The only drawback is that the recognition is a little off and I need to move a few pellets sometimes for each target. A small price to pay for such an excellent product.

What a great app, I can now scan my cards and get my scores automatically plus keep a record of either my improvements or my failures. If you shot any Nsra discipline, this will help you.

Great for keeping records of scores long term thanks to iCloud integration, but also at the range the group centre adjustment help is super useful for fine adjustment of sights

Easy to use, accurate and informative - the perfect tool for checking your windage, elevation and radius per card, per competitor or in aggregate.

Always hated scoring cards, but this app does everything you could want. The only snag is that I now have a permanent reminder of how badly I shoot!

I have only just started to use this app and will probably only use one type of target. The app works brilliantly for what I want. The app will score a whole series of cards in one session, but that then leads to the massive disappointment, you need to purchase the diary (an extra £5.49) to store more than one session.

Very good, helps to analyse your shooting and with the use of a shooting diagnosis chart helps remedy position problems. It would be good to develop the app if they could incorporate a shooting diagnosis chart over lay. Would highly recommend this app to any beginner (like myself) or an experienced shooter. Well done

I was almost going to give this app five stars, but that would be saying I don't think that there's any room for improvement, which is not quite the case right now. However let me start by saying that of all the apps I have ever had need to contact the creators of, this one has without a doubt the best service of them all. I have lost count of all the apps that say "please get in touch, we value your feedback", only to get none in return. This one couldn't be more different. It's obviously been designed by someone who is passionate about making it the very best it can be, and regularly keeping it updated to keep it that way. Any time I have written a suggestion, or need help with a query, I have received a reply within hours! Very good. So what's keeping me from giving it five start I hear you say, well I don't know whether it's an app issue, or a device one (camera)? but in spite of using the light table feature to highlight my shots, I do find I more often than not need to manually record the position of some shots. Unfortunately as far as I can see, there is no way of keeping the correctly recorded "scanned" shots, and just alter the ones that it has misplaced. As far as I can see, if you are unhappy with any of the ten shots automatically recorded, you have to start from scratch, and manually record all ten yourself. Not a massive problem, but time consuming if you've shot a few cards that day. Other than that I love this app, it is such s brilliant way of storing your cards digitally, and viewing your shooting progress over months or years. The ability to compare shot placements, and add notes to sessions like "was freezing cold today", or "tried using my new shooting glasses", is superb to help you remember events or circumstances that may have effected your performance. I could go on spouting it's virtues. If you're a target shooter you really can't afford to not have access to this.

Great app able to keep a track of scoring and improvements but if u want to keep multiple cards on the same device you will need to pay for the "diary" which is another £5

Well implemented app, easy to use and, with clean shot holes very accurate. I don't mind paying extra for features as it enables developer to improve which will help the shooter. (Which is the purpose of the app)

Helps you keep an eye on your scoring pity I had to buy an diary so I could account on my shoots when standing prone or elbows. For how much it cost I would have thought the diary would be with the program not have to pay more

I'm really glad I bought this. It's great scoring targets without touching them and the information you get about groups, windage and elevation are really useful. I like the facility to plot shots by finger when the camera doesn't recognise a shot or multiples in one hole. Now, if there was a way of linking a number of series so you could get rolling averages (don't think I missed that feature)........

I have recently gone back to shooting and found this app. It is brilliant, so much better than keeping all your cards from the range, and it is also great for analysis of the way you have been shooting over different periods of time. A very helpful app which I love.

Excellent app. Very accurate scoring allows personal scoring of competition cards without touching the card. Very useful analysis of stored cards re windage and elevation allows you to pinpoint errors with grip and trigger action. No downsides. Great value.

It works exactly like it should and saves a fortune when compared to other scoring methods. A must buy for the target shooter.

I have just bought this app and have been playing with some targets i shot this morning. I was very disappointed in the apps ability to detect keyholed shots. Clear 2 shot groups were classed as 1 and a score of 0 given. i tried several cards with several backgrounds and distances but to no avail. i would not recommend this app even if free.

This app is an amazing bit of software and really gives you a good visual analysis of your shooting. You simply use your iPhones camera to scan your shot targets and it works out your score and various other stats about your performance. The interface could do with being a little more user friendly, some of it wasn't obvious for me as a first time user.

The thing that let's it down is the in app purchases of the diaries. You can only hold 1 session per discipline with out paying another £5.99 which is a lot considering it probably doesn't take that much extra programming to implement it. It almost makes the point of this app pointless without it so you have no choice if you want to keep a record longer than 1 day. The real kicker though is if you shoot more than one discipline say 10m air and .22 prone that's two diaries you have to buy making this app a lot more expensive at £5.99 a diary. It's a bit of a dirty trick, not appreciated in the good name of shooting, I would have paid a bit more just to have a complete app in the first place.

This App has helped with full analysis and shown over all areas to improve on, I can not praise it enough. Clear simple and accurate. Best asset for shooting you can get.

Good app... Look forward to more targets being added like PL8 and even practical targets like PP1.

One annoying issue - It quite often recognises the numbers (especially "8") as a shot.

Shame the shooters diary isn't just one in app purchase :( had to buy pistol one as one of the targets I use for rifle is actually a pistol target :( - didn't realise until after which was my fault for not reading as I hit buy

Very good app, easy to use. However it does not cater for lightweight sporting rifle targets (such as NSRA PL19 targets).

We use this app for scoring nsra and nra comps perfect every time never had a problem with it every card we scored has come back the same so very accurate on scoring and the dairy is brilliant group size point of aim ect.

Best shooting/scoring app I've ever used.

I am also a club instructor so it makes life so much easier no need for pen and paper just email them there scores straight over.

If anyone is having problems with the app learn how to use your phone first. might be a good place to start lol.

The app certainly seems to be accurate in scoring cards.

However it could be a lot more flexible in the options and session recording. As someone who shoots an Air Rifle for Hunter field target, I like many use the standard air rifle targets but at greater distance. For example I zero and practice on the NRA 25ft Air rifle at 30 yards (90ft). Having the option to set the range of the target as a session option, would make this app more useful.

Works very well, scoring is very accurate, you generally only need to move the scoring for shots outside the black - obviously the key to not having to do this is just to get more accurate!

Only slight bug bear is the need to do an in app purchase to get the shooters diary to let you keep more than one session of a particular discipline. Personally I can't see why you wouldn't want this so why isn't it included at the outset, would happily pay a few £ more for a full featured app as it is really useful.

We shoot 10m air pistol and this app really helps with tracking group size and position. If you buy the shooter's diary you get a view over multiple sessions as well. For me it's been well worth the price.

I've been using Targetscan for the last 6 months for both 6 yard and 10m pistol targets and it is brilliant! So easy to use and very accurate with its scoring.

Not often I'm inclined to write a review but this app is excellent. I use it for both pistol and rifle and have always been pleased with the results and analysis it offers.

Fantastic app, which always was very accurate, but is now even better. Well done to the developer. A must for any target shooter.
