Excellent puzzle game but has issues

When I first played this game it was excellent and worked VERY well with an iPhone 4. Roll on a few years now playing it on an iPhone 15 you really can feel a difference.

Without a border around the screen you constantly “swipe up” pausing the game or with the game play right on the edge of the screen you find yourself looking at notifications and shortcuts away from the game.

Good if you can bang through the issues like this but highly frustrating as swipe gestures don’t get the results you want in the game play

Impossible achievement

The achievement tri duck dash was not tested and is impossible. It feels like you have to beat the level in 1 second to get it! I think we learnt a lesson today: always test your game before putting it on the App Store. Now change that achievement to be possible.

Are there any plans to update the game to work better on the iPad 10? I found level 1-4 a bit difficult to tri-duck on my new device. Can you please also consider adding 120hz support for the iPhone 13 Pro and 14 Pro? Any plans to add the Where’s My Water? animated shorts to Disney+? Thanks.

Needs Adapting for Newer iPhones

Used to love this game and would be 5 star. But with the later iPhones, mine being iPhone 13 Pro, you can’t control things right at the edge of the screen as it activates swipe commands. Needs adjusting please!

Misleading purchase

When I paid for the game I thought I would some of the other stories included as this game used to be free. Paid to find out it only includes the base game and not any of the other character levels.

For a game I once played for free years ago it feels a bit misleading to then want more money for the rest.

Do not make in game purchases

You can spend a small fortune on Disney games for them to then delete the game and refuse refunds. They have already done this with several other titles. Avoid!

Where's My Water

Total waste of money only £1.99 but it does not function on the iPad 4 even though it says for iPad and gives the relevant iOS version, which this iPad meets (iOS 10). The Disney App support site is also completely useless as it will not accept my date of birth to access the site so I'm stuffed.

This iPad I have given over to my grandson to play games on and needless to say he was very upset as he couldn't play his new game, I'm totally disgusted with Disney who appear to want the cash with no comebacks, last game I purchase from them.

Broken

A really good game rendered unplayable on iPhone XS due to not being able to interact with the bottom of the screen without it closing the app. Looks like it’ll never be fixed so one can never complete the game.

Great game, but needs urgent fixes

This would be 5 stars, but I’m adding my frustrated voice to those asking for improved functionality on levels where the controls are right at the bottom of the screen, meaning it interacts with the swipe app feature of iphoneX. This feature isn’t even new! Additionally the scroll mechanism is clunky - any reason we can’t just 2-finger swipe down a level? Please at least fix the top issue, it’s super frustrating and has been this way at least a year?!

Needs Improvements

This game needs major improvements for new iPhones.

Additionally, scrolling a level is very jumpy and doesn’t allow smooth scrolling. Dragging through mud is also not smooth, and makes completing intricate levels difficult.

Whenever there is a control by the bottom of the screen it thinks I’m trying to close the app which makes some levels impossible to complete! I know this is only a minor issue but still a little frustrating! Enjoy the app otherwise :)

Good fun game but the adverts ruin it

I understand the need for adverts to pay for the game but I’ve never been so irritated by them that I’ve deleted the game. They pop up after almost every puzzle and often result in the game crashing. Game would get a solid 5 stars if it wasn’t for the stupid amount of adds.

Allie 3-11 is impossible

First off, great game. I do love it, but I'm not sure if you're aware of something;

One of Allie's levels, 3-11 (Rising to the top, 11) is impossible to complete. The purple water doesn't go where it's needed, the only way it can possibly go. I've searched up tonnes of tutorials and they've done it fine, but I think an update has made that happen.

Ideal - great puzzler!

Thoroughly enjoyable puzzles for all ages. It has a substantial amount of content to get through before paying to unlock other level packs - you know what? This is a game that would have taken considerable time and effort to develop - why do we expect something for nothing? That's never worked for me so far... 🙂

Where's my data?

I enjoyed playing this game all the way through the first time and thought I would reset my game saves and play it again. I can reset my profile from the options but as soon as I do that the game asks if I want to use iCloud. If I say yes, all my old game saves come back, if I say no I can't sync my game with other devices. Also going to the iCloud menu in Settings, it says there is no data for Where's My Water? Very enjoyable game but don't expect to play it twice easily. I also really miss the weekly games which disappeared round about the same time as Where's My Water 2 came out, it is almost like they wanted everyone to buy the new game instead of enjoying the ones they already had.

New changes are not great

This is easily one of the better games on the App Store, and has been enjoyed in my family by everyone from the 4 year old to the 64 year old.

However, there have been recurring problems with the weekly levels recently (failing to load, or causing the game to crash). That was frustrating, but instead of fixing the issue, the latest update has simply removed the weekly levels.

This is a huge shame. I enjoy the game, but once you've maxed out all the available levels, all you can do is attempt to beat your own high scores - not that you can even see your high score for a given level unless you beat it. There are some Easter egg levels dotted around, and a few challenges, but the weekly levels meant the game was always fresh, and it was brilliant. It kept me playing.

The latest update has added 40 new Allie levels, and a few more Allie challenges, but to be honest that doesn't outweigh the loss of the weekly levels. The new levels are fine (although the Allie game is my least favourite) but the new challenge in all four versions (Swampy, Allie, Cranky and Magic Duck) was a much better deal, frankly, than 40 new levels which with the best will in the world are not going to take that long to get through.

Basically, Disney have taken one of their best games, and made it less good. Not a genius move.

Amazing game

I loved it I first got the free version then it was so good I wanted more and more and more I have every version and where's perry as well because where's my water need more so I got that too I play it every. Second of every day but sometimes I get into trouble at school but I don't mined because I get to play it this is one second that I'm not playing it I get told of sometimes because I play it at the dinner table but I don't mine so bye bye get this game it's great and then you can be just like me and it great being me but if you are going to be me then good Luck and bye see you later !!!!😜😜😜👨

Update to late

Update has fixed previous issues - lost all data due to re-install of original update so choice is now either pay for the unlock all levels or start all over again, I won't do either.

Was a Great game until the latest update, now freezes on opening screen... Now going to have to delete & re-install and loose all the previous scores .... Honestly I won't bother....

Thanks for the update and the new levels that I won't now play ....

Reinstalling fixes the issue initially then it freezes again ..... As all previous data is now lost I Will not be starting all over again ... Goodby!!!

Love it !

Me and my kids love playing this game. Lots of levels and tricky challenges. Frequent updates keep me playing.

Yes, the november update has broken it. But be patient, it will be fixed as soon as it can be, and then you can play as much as you like.

Giving a one star is childish as this is an awesome game that has been updated so many times (included in the ridiculously low price of 69p). If you could get a bottle of coke for that price, trust me, it would be long gone before you even played a few levels of this game, so don't moan about a little glitch in a very cheap game. Get a life and feel lucky that Disney give you free updates, they are not free to produce!

Well presented games like this are a joy to play.

Fairly simple premis. Drag your finger to dig a way through the sewers to allow water to flow to the crocodile's shower. However, add obstacles, switches and various acids and you get into a puzzle game that's tricky enough to get you thinking, but not impossible enough to become frustrating.

The learning curve is close to perfect, starting you off with puzzles to provide you with experience of how the physics of the game work, which stand you in good stead when you get to those that require a little more thought. This happens every time they introduce a new element too, like a switch or acid so you never feel overwhelmed.

The character's have a certain Disney like appeal to them. Each group of stages are seperated by a panning cartoon panoramic picture of a scene. This tries to give a storyline to the game but, as well drawn as these cartoons are, I found them a little slow and time consuming to watch. Maybe a faster pan through the scene would be an improvement.

One star ALMOST docked for an in-app purchase to extend to a new storyline with a new character.

On the other side didn't agree with paying for more levels after paying for the app in the first place angry birds don't ask for more money for updates so why would a company as big as Disney ask for more cash not happy with that as I paid 69p for update would think there would be loads and loads of levels but nope not many at all would like a refund and free updates as I think you will lose people and ratings
