Description
Mobile Banking for customers who hold NatWest International bank accounts in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Gibraltar.
WHAT YOU NEED TO REGISTER
• You’ll need to be registered for Online Banking
• Your Channel Islands, Isle of Man, UK, Gibraltar or international mobile number
• Your Customer Number which is your date of birth followed by four random digits
• Your Online Banking PIN & password which is what you use to log in online
• When logging in for the first time you’ll be asked to choose a mobile banking passcode, which is what you’ll use in the future
Supported international mobile numbers: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland or United States.

• Login using Touch ID or Face ID – there’s no need to remember your passcode when logging in. Available on a compatible iPhone or iPad
• Personalise your app – customise how your app greets you, hide your balance, reorder your accounts, manage your alerts or share your account details
• Get Cash – visit a cash machine and withdraw up to £130 without your debit card – perfect if you’ve forgotten your wallet
• Pay someone new without a card reader – all you need is their sort code and account number and you can send up to £1000. Register for biometric approval and take a selfie to authorise payments above £1,000.
• Pay your contacts using their mobile number

OTHER THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Get Cash allows you to withdraw up to £130 every 24 hours at any NatWest International, NatWest, Isle of Man Bank, Ulster Bank or Tesco ATM, as long as it’s within your daily withdrawal limit. You must have at least £10 available in your account.
Paying your contacts allows a maximum of 20 payments totalling £250 per day. Pay anyone with a UK current account who is registered for the Paym service. You must be aged 16 or over.

Starting to be perfect.
Been using the app for several years but it has got better and better. I’m old and grumpy but this app rarely frustrates me and usually very easy to resolve my issues.

The one hate
Love the app but hate trying to get it to recognise my face when paying someone. I have to take my glasses off to blink my eyes and can’t therefore see a thing! I often have to try and try again before it recognises me. Please can you develop a better way to do this.

Very Poor
While logged into my account and trying to make a payment, the app keeps login me out. I wasted nearly an hour and a half to get two payments made. This is so bad, I will be closing my account with NatWest.

NatWest Biometric Facilty Needs Improvement
This doesn’t work as well as the apple facial app! Have to enable for approvals but useless on facial recognition.
The app doesn’t give any alternatives not approve new payees and difficult to disable the biometric facility.
Needs better facial recognition systems to work outside perfect conditions particularly as NatWest is forcing users to use it for all approvals and changes.

So easy to use. Love that you can now scan chq’s to be paid in without having to go into the Branch.
Only issue is counting up any credit Int. for Tax purposes.

Great App!!
I love this banking app. Makes banking so much simpler and allowing total control over my banking. The best thing is ‘Get Cash’ where you can withdraw from the cash machine without the need of your card.

Trying to make a payment and blinking always takes several tries. Not all cheques can be paid in using the app:

Won’t accept paying in a cheque.
The app if ok but every time I try to pay in a cheque it accepts the photos I took but when I press proceed to pay in cheque it always says can’t proceed try later, it never does work. Very annoying because I have to make a trip to the bank. Pointless,

Paying in cheques on mobile banking really needs to be looked at! If the writing is slightly shakey or not clear the cheque is rejected and I HAVE to go into the town to pay into bank at a charge of £2.50 per cheque for business account. Can only pay up to £500 in any one day-ridiculous for businesses.

Was Good but!
This started out as one of the better phone banking apps however a new security thing on it is annoying.
When you make a payment there is a new security feature for blinking into the camera for confirmation… this is very very glitchy, doesn’t work at all if you wearing glasses which is unhelpful as you have to see clearly to fit your face into position. 🤦♂️
Otherwise a very good app.

Security is over the top.
I unlock my phone with my face, I unlock the app with my face, and then when I want to send money I have to use this strange and clunky system that requires me to blink and not always work.
I have no idea why you can’t use the apple technology that is provided that works flawlessly every time.

I love the online banking app. so easy to use and convenient. Only thing I didn’t like was pending transactions as I would have to calculate what would be left in my account. Then they updated the app and added that feature so no more maths! Love it x

Lacks Basic Features For User
Why have other apps got the most basic features available to the user however, Natwest International doesn’t?
• No App Feedback Section
• No Vault Area for Savings
• No Daily Report Section (e.g spent this much today/week/month)
• No Dark-mode App Version
• No TIMESTAMP for purchases made???
• Approve a Transaction hardly ever becomes a option when purchasing online (e.g doesn’t ask for approval compared to other banking apps).

Very simple to use app and yet very smart app which does everything without the need to log in via a computer web page. I don’t think I have actually logged in via a machine for atleast 2 years as everything can be handled via the app.

Control
I could not control my finances with out this app. I can check my accounts on a regular basis, anywhere, and at any time, just by using my smartphone. It is so easy.

Been using the old app for ages. Now told to move to new one as old dies in August!
Both the email from Natwest and the write up state that fingerprint recognition can be used on suitable iPads. I use this facility with other apps but this one does not work and can not find an option to set it up!

Good App but doesn’t let you pay more than £250!?
The app is great and user friendly. However, a BIG let down is that it doesn’t let you pay more than £250 per day to another account! The Santander app allows such payments to be made which makes is much easier for me!

iPhone X Support?
Have had the app for years and it’s been a breeze! Can’t even access the application as it keeps on crashing on my iPhone X. Been waiting for an update to fix this but so far none. Just wanted to raise the issue.
