Brief review
If honest, I would say that the UI is outdated and there are plenty of bugs however, if you set yourself up a good profile and have a CV correctly formatted and uploaded then you can click and forget apply. I have had several interviews and at least two jobs just from using the app. It is an invaluable tool in my personal opinion.

The jobs seem to be quite randomly made up just to keep the site functioning. I am not entirely convinced of the authenticity of this platform. To be honest, these are early days after the cyber crash, we need to give this site a chance to GROW.

Completely honest.
If I’m completely honest most of these job search sites are ridiculous. More often than not they push the higher jobs in your face which you haven’t got a chance in hell of getting as they ask for too many years experience which your don’t have. Furthermore jobs are repeatedly falsely advertised being local or near where your based. Only to find when you are in for a chance of a job it’s not even in the same town/ city. I’d say CV library is one of the better of these apps, but I’ve learned to not even entertain an agency. The app works well can’t fault CV Library in that regard.

Horrible
I literally got harassed with calls, emails, WhatsApp texts and normal texts from agencies, as soon as I joined. I used the option of hiding my cv but guess what, they kept calling and emailing regardless. I eventually decided to delete the app because it was stressing me out. The worst experience I have ever had in my entire life with a jobs app.

Used to be good, now it’s broken!
App worked fine months ago, but downloaded again yesterday and it no longer works. In the app you can view your profile and that’s pretty much it. Every time you try to search for a job or even just to view any of the job listings, you get a pop up saying “unknown error”. So you can’t even see any jobs. App is now useless and purely just takes up space on your phone, as it can’t do anything else.

Absolute rubbish since the latest update. When you click on apply and you get a message saying it’s going to direct you to an external site - nothing happens. Tried deleting the app and reinstalling, even tried from the main site but still doesn’t work.

Does what it needs to and has a variety of filters. The algorithms at the back end could be better to filter out jobs of no interest but it’s no worse that most so ease of use is the key for me.

Frustrating
Only thing wrong with this app is when you click on a job to read the job spec, there isn’t an option for you to go back and keep scrolling.. only options are to close the app and re open (which you lose where you are) or just apply for the job which then gives you an option to keep searching.

I have been constantly trying to use the app and look for any type of updates but nothing even though I contacted them. The app is faulty when you select a job to read the full description your stuck on that page you can’t go back. I have to close the app and redo the search which is frustrating. This NEEDS to get sorted out.

Buggy & Hard To Use
I’ve been trying to use the app after seeing great reviews but from my limited experience it seems really buggy. I’ll click on a listing and then the screen looks almost glitched out where I can’t get back to the search result list. Parts of the description don’t show etc. Wish I could give a better review but just makes it impossible to use.

Really happy
Out of all the apps I have tried for job searching, this is the one I turn to the most. It is easy to upload and view my cv, unlike others and it is really fast when applying for jobs, making it easy to write a covering letter and attaching your cv automatically without having to refer to the website to change the document over. Fingers crossed I’ll find a job soon.

Slick, clear and easy to use
Great app, been using it now for about three weeks. It’s slick in its operation, navigation instructions are clear and very comfortable to use. I feel I have instant control over my job search.
One touch applications are a useful tool and like the fact you can overwrite the standard cover letter to make it personal.
Fingers crossed I’ll get a positive outcome.

Useful and amazing app for applying to any jobs

Top Job App!
Really great focused job search app. The ability to do one click applications is a massive time saver especially if you’re applying for loads of jobs. The app is really easy to navigate, the user friendly interface is a dream. Can’t stop recommending CV Library to all my friends.

Great app, solid functionality and easy to use relevant filters. Regular updates to roles and options to 1-click apply or apply with opportunity to provide more info.
This application also tracks what you have applied for in the list that you see so you don’t have to keep double checking which you’ve applied for previously. All in all - a great tool!

My recent experience with CV-Library
CV Library has improved significantly with a simple to Apply function for jobseekers like me. This would enable me to interact with CV Library easily and fast when I am at work or doing other tasks and apply for the jobs immediately as and when they appear in CV Library’s job site Portal.
Now that I have CV Library on my phone I can not miss all my potential opportunities.
I like using the CV Library from my App Store.

I’ve used CV LIBRARY on and off for 3 years. Found lots of suitable positions. Easy to apply once you’ve added your details/CV. Click apply and you’re sorted. One downfall is jobs not being removed once the position has been filled. Other than that I would recommend highly

Good functionality, easy to use, intuitive movement through the app. One issue I come up against is on the cover letter editing tool on iPhone. Does not scroll freely and leaves me with questionable spaces and misspellings if I’m not super vigilant. Would recommend for an easy and clear way to see what’s out there.

Regular updates
Regular updates on specific searches removes the need for me to constantly search new jobs which greatly helps me in my continued search for the right job. With thousands to choose from, choices are always available meaning I don’t need to sign up to 3 or 4 search engines, just this one...

You can filter by salary, distance, industry and job type. It shows which jobs you’ve applied for, highlights the previous jobs you’ve viewed, and applying is straightforward. Most jobs show a salary and location.
The app is really to use. It’s better than the others , and has quickly become my go to app for job searches.

Very good
It is extremely difficult to upload your cv, but once you do and you start applying to jobs. Employers call you within a week and if they don’t you get an email saying you weren’t successful all the time. I have never been left wondering with this app.

Let them do the hard work!!
Great app! Upload a current CV and make sure you include all those key words relevant to your profession. Then sit back and wait for the employers and agencies to contact you! No more cold dropping CV’s to random companies. Only bug bear for me, is that every time I update my profile I get inundated with phone calls from agencies after a quick chat!! I would like to see contact preference settings within the app, so that I can control how they contact me. Otherwise a great tool for finding work.

Amazing App and Easy to use.
This app is extremely easy to use and the 1 click apply is great when you have a busy life style, like I do myself. The offline mode is ideal when I've got no signal and would still like to apply for jobs. I found the registration process really quick and user friendly, but by far the best job board app I’ve come across. I would definitely recommend to others and will continue to use, until I find my ideal job.

This app is so Easy to use and I think the 1 click apply is fab when you want to update it while on the go.
The offline mode works really well allowing me to use the app and update my CV even when I have no signal eg during long train journeys

Greatest job board app of all-time
This app is AMAZING! It’s just as easy to use as the online website, allows you to search for jobs, set up job alerts, save jobs that you like, upload a CV and edit your account... it’s like having your own career adviser in your pocket. Great app!
Quick and to the point! It’s so easy to find and apply for the jobs you want. Especially good for those of us who work long hours and don’t have the time to sit at a laptop every evening, slaving away and only managing to apply for 2 or 3 jobs. Best I’ve found so far
With most of these job search apps I’ve found that they flood you with completely useless jobs by putting all national jobs in within a local search. This is also the only app that I’ve found that has notified me of actual jobs that I’ve then been able to apply for. I’m only using the others out of necessity to satisfy official requirements.

Really good selection, easy to use
Really like this app. CV library have a really extensive collection of job postings and make it really easy to search, apply, save and share their job listings. You can save a search which is common sense (you're hardly going to be changing your search criteria every day!) but not all job apps/sites do this. My only bug bear with cv library is you can only save one cv. Now to maximise my chances of finding a job I have to be open to slightly different roles and contracts which I would prefer I could apply for with a specific cv that targets these particular roles but without swapping my cv over every time the app won't do it!

Great UI, Easy To Use
Super quick 1-click apply, easy to navigate the UI and nice touch with the profile section. I must admit that I’d never heard of CV-Library before it was recommended to me, but I much prefer the layout and user experience to some of the gimmicky big branded products out there. Has to be one of the best user friendly apps to use. It has loads of jobs to scroll through and it keeps a track of what you have applied for.

Its nicely designed however some panels are not required and can be hidden behind a menu while others should be more easily and readily available instead of hidden behind secondary menus. Such as the applied section could use a tab to easily navigate to. Apart from that the app is perfect.

Really helpful
I found my previous job through cv library and now I'm certain it will help with my job search this time too. It's very easy to use and I love the 1 click apply process. Takes the hassle out of long applications.
