So so so great!!!!

As a 23 year old girl, I've tried all the weight loss fads out there. But this app by far has been the most effective!!! I've always been the one whose never done any form of exercise, and skipping forward to the later weeks had me thinking 'I'll never run for 10 minutes straight' but the app is amazing and gets you there without even realising! And knowing you only have to run 3 times a week makes it so easy to fit in!! Would definitely recommend.

The Best App for non runners

Great app for those who are new to running or need a motivational word in your ear. Managed a 10 mile run on the back of this and now training for the half marathon with it.

Best running app

If you really want to run this is the best app , when I first started I could not run for 1 minute but now I can do 40 minutes without stopping ,defo the one to use

Won’t load

This was recommended to me and I was looking forward to getting started but the app won’t load. Have installed and reinstalled three times and nothing. I’m now using a different app.

Good App but... doesn’t give you the option to edit treadmill runs.

It does not recognise or give an edit function which can be used during treadmill runs which is very frustrating. Otherwise a great running app.

Notifications are severely broken

This app does not notify you when to speed up or slow down when the screen is locked. I assumed it was because it didn’t play nicely with other apps, ie a podcast app and a gps app. If the screen is unlocked and I have the app open, the notifications will play - BUT AT FULL VOLUME! Ouch! 🤬Tried 5k app years ago - exactly the same problem then. Stop spending money on graphics, stop IAP shilling (that I see you started) and fix the app.

Overall good app.

App asks me to rate in the AppStore every time I log in, even though I’ve done it multiple times. Not sure if that’s a fault with the app or the AppStore. Also It would be good if the voice told you how long to run/walk each time. Other than that, a very good app.

I have never been a distance runner and had not done any exercise for 10years 😳
I am motivated, this app makes running easier, though it builds over 3 days per week, I have done the same runs until I felt ready to move to the next. I love being able to see the improvements in my distance & I am feeling so much better about myself!! 😍

Almost great, but very good

For the last 15 years I’ve said “I’m just not a runner” but this app has changed that entirely. I’m now most of the way to 10K and I’m really enjoying it.
The app is stable and does what it says but I am left feeling it could be a little smarter and give more choice. The app doesn’t adjust based on pace, it’s just on time. I have found myself running it side by side with Strava to get stats that could easily be in this app, like splits.
It would also be nice to have a few more options for the voice interactions. I find them a little too few and far between when the runs get longer. It would be nice to have some customisations there.

I used to hate running...

now I can’t get enough of it, all thanks to this app! This gradual approach by which you increase your running time little by little ensures that you actually enjoy every single run. I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d be able to run 10 k but now this distance is easy for me. If you want to take up running seriously, this app will help you. Have fun and enjoy running!

Good app but missing some important features

Good app and it’s really helping me train and improve my running for my 10K. However, it is lacking a few features. It would be great to see my minute per mile speed and calories burned. At the moment I have to have the Runkeeper open at the same time during my runs so that I can check my speed and ensure it’s fast enough for race day.

Very progressive.

This is a very good way to get running.
Lots of walking and running mixed together to build up stamina.
As I worked my way through getting closer to 5k I found myself repeating the days run rather than moving on, usually for another two outings, as it is a very progressive plan. Plan in good rest periods, and try run 2 or 3 times a week.
Be gentle, and don’t be afraid to pause the schedule.
Am now starting on 10k app.

Try it, you’ve got nothing to lose

I am 45 and sit on my bum up to 10 hours a day/5 days a week in front of a computer for work. I had to try and get some exercise but didn’t know how to do it. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on gym membership either. I used to run with work mates short distances 10 years ago in my lunch hour at work and enjoyed it then so thought I would try running again. I saw this app and downloaded the free version, it gave me a chance to try it out, nothing lost I thought. I loved it and soon paid for the full version, I am now 10 weeks in and this App is one of the reasons I am managing to prepare for a 10K race. I like the flexibility of it, some weeks I manage two runs, some three. And on the odd week I’m just too busy to run it doesn’t matter, I just pick up where I left off. Try the free version, you’ve got nothing to lose 😊

Reliable rocket for getting back into running

I have used this a couple of times when for whatever reason, I’ve lost my mojo and stopped running. It helps because I know I won’t be crippled by over doing it, yet the results come very quickly and I only run twice a week. At 50 with three kids and a full time job it’s enough to keep my mood up and my love handles under control 😊

Great app and runs

I am getting back into running and fitness after having a baby, I’m really enjoying this app. I love the interval training and guidance. I can leave the baby with my husband and totally switch off without having to have planned my run first. I run until the lady says halfway then come back.
I have downloaded their sister apps, great abs, bums and legs to give those a try too.

Not Free!!!

Started this app after it was recommended on the internet as a free training program. You get 4 very basic runs for free and thereafter it’s £12. So NOT free. Bloody annoying when claims turn out to be untrue.

Just completed week 1. It is very good and I can already see a difference. However, it would be nice with the option of treadmill to calculate distance and calories also would be nice with more motivation but other than that it is excellent

Does what it says on the tin

I enjoyed using the app and got to 10K from almost nothing! I couldn’t get the halfway point to work, which was frustrating, and why can’t they offer British coach voices for us Brits?!

First time use

I am 61 and have just used this app for the first time as recommended by my daughter. It was really good and helpful to be told when to stop and start running and have short running sections to begin with. So many exercise apps are geared to younger people who are already relatively fit and not older people like me starting to exercise again after a long break and a lot of gained poundage! I did adapt it a bit and just walked faster when it said run. However I did manage a 1 minute run towards the end. I will update as I hopefully improve!

Not adapted for treadmill runs

Great app if you’re trying to get into running. I’m giving it 3 stars because it doesn’t have the option to tracks runs on a treadmill: it will mark the distance as 0km and won’t calculate the calories your burnt. There should be an option where you mark it as a treadmill run and input the data manually as most treadmills track your performance.
