Can't get to work with iPad mini.
Works ok on iPhone but can't get to work properly on iPad mini. Opens ok but keeps dropping out after about 10 seconds. I've cleaned up the iPad so I've got 10gb free space and latest software update but still unstable. Still trying to resolve the issue but so far unusable.

Not user friendly
This app is difficult to use. I have zero response to my problems having emailed numerous occasions. I have the first 3 issues and now the 4th will not download even thou I paid for 12.

Great Golf Magazine
This is a great app to look at the digital version of Todays Golfer magazine. I hope they will upgrade the app so you can read in full screen view and that horizontal pages where you have to turn the magazine it will turn it automatically in the app😎🏌🏌🏌

Bad quality and not full screen
Whatever I do, I can't seem to get rid of the bars at the top and bottom of the screen?! This is really distracting when reading. The images are of terrible quality too - the reds specifically are very pixelated. By comparison, Golf Monthly is full screen and all the imagery is razor sharp.
Such a shame as the content is so great!

Great mag, poor app
Controls are so clunky compared to the best. Worst thing is mag can only be read in portrait mode; really annoying. Having said that, the mag itself is excellent.

The worst Customer service
I previously subscribed and subsequently cancelled because the digital app was broken. However I decided to resubscribe over Christmas as the app has been rewritten and they had a great price. Unfortunately I've cancelled again as this time around I can't access the app with my subscription and customer service is almost non existent. Its a great mag though so you'll have to make do with the paper version.

Love TG! I was a regular buyer of the magazine, but the iPad is more convenient. Love to read the player interviews. pick up some tips and look at the latest clubs.

No interest in service
Awful app surpassed only by the appalling level of service. No one in customer service could/would help and in the end despite my complaint I was told i has already paid and despite no magazines being readable I was stuck with my subscription. Thankfully the actual magazine understood, said they had lots of similar issues with other customers and now they send me a hard copy each month. Will not be using this company again!

Don't Subscribe you won't get your Mowbray back!
I'm loath to even give this App and digital magazine 1 star! The number of one star reviews tells it all and I can relate to nearly all the adverse comments by reviewers. Customer service is nothing short of abysmal. Despite numerous emails, supplying all info requested and making at least 3 phone calls no resolution or access to the magazine since 10th May 2014. Despite twice asking for a phone call to discuss a solution and been promised contact, no phone call received. I contacted Bauer on 11th June when I formally cancelled my direct debit and asked for a full refund and was promised a call from a manager to confirm, no call received. I contracted Bauer today and eventually spoke to a manager (Luke) who refused a refund (company policy, that seemingly over rides the Sale of Goods a Act!) but he promised to investigate and get back to me tonight with a solution. Strangely enough no contact yet but it's early yet (23.00hours).
My advice is don't touch this app or digital magazine with a barge pole and I'd probably say the same risk could apply to all other Bauer digital magazines!

Very poor
Good mag, next to useless app. Trial issues loaded fine but subscription issue just shows "pay or subscribe". Apparently app developers are working on a fix. Avoid this version!

Poor effort!
After subscribing, able to access one issue then asked to pay. Poor customer service: ignored requests with standard reply. In my opinion, you should stick to paper copy because digital version in a simple PDF (no extra features). That's if you can actually access it!!!!

Worst customer service ever
AVIOD THIS APP.
It does not work, if you want to read this magazine, go buy a paper copy.
Customer service is useless they cannot help you unless it is to take your money. Anything else has to be passed onto the "technical team" who will call you back - NOT!!!

Wasted an hour of my life signing up, signing in, being redirected and signing in.
I still can't see a magazine, as it just freezes saying queuing 0% downloaded.
Doesn't deserve 1 star. I'll stick to the paper copy!

It's OK but...
I bought a copy of the Feb issue for 99p - happy with that. However the purchase process was odd, bouncing me through stores and requiring my password twice. At the end it did not appear to have worked but once I pressed the restore purchase button the mag appeared. My gripe is that I cannot get the navigation bar to work so I have to flick through every page. When I went to the app help page I was directed to a non-existent page on the Today's Golfer website. In conclusion, it's OK but buggy and I certainly would not subscribe yet.

One of the worst apps I have seen.
They provide an easy way to subscribe, once they have your money it is all downhill from there.
The instructions to get the iPad app are awful, they send you to iTunes Store not the App Store. The link to go to great magazines takes you to the FAQ page, with no navigation to go anywhere else. Poor.
The app is just a copy of the magazine, no interactivity at all. I could have scanned the paper copy myself and saved £29.99
Three days ago, my paper copy of the magazine arrived, the digital version is still nowhere to be seen.
Even clicking on the app help on the download page goes to a web page that doesn't exist.
Read the other reviews here, they all read the same. Come on Apple, this is one app that should be withdrawn!!!

Complete Rip Off- AVOID
Don't waste your time with this.
I paid to upgrade to the digital edition, but the app crashes after loading, 100% of the time.
I've reinstalled numerous times.
All links to the Today's Golfer website, including App Support, return 404 Page Not Found.

Was excited when notification came through for update to version 3 with the hope that they had sorted out all the little annoying things about the tablet edition . I now can't even view my magazine that I subscribe to as the app just shuts down every time I open it . Very disappointed !

As a hard copy subscriber you need to pay again, this is not the case with my other magazine subscription, a waste of time downloading this only to be massively disappointed

I bought 3 issues to see how it was. First 2 were great. Then the app has never worked since. I can't download or even see my issues I have already downloaded. After only purchasing three mags it decided to charge me for more and still not let me see any of the purchases. Appalling app. So bad shocking DO NOT BUY! I would choose no stars but it won't let me

I love the fact TG is now available in the new stand, good idea! Downloaded no problem, did a restore all purchases and all products were there for me. Well done.
Both 301 and 302 downloading fine for me, maybe they fixed the problem???

Digital version charges
Why as a subscriber to the hard copy, do I have to pay again to receive a digital version?
Golf Monthly subscribers receive their digital copy free as do most print subscribers to other periodicals.
Come on Golf World treat your subscribers fairly otherwise next year I will subscribe to a publisher that does.

Not as good as the others
Content is exactly the same as the paper print so the iPad edition would really benefit from some exclusive additions similar to that on other magazines available from the store. Apart from that my main gripe is the price and the fact that subscribers of the paper issues like myself will have to pay again, in full, for a years subscription. Come on TG you could at least offer it free or heavily discounted for those loyal customers?

download fine albeit slowly & it hung a few times... The video is great, better than the magazine although the default font size is a bit small but you can pinch and zoom. It would be nice if i could have some sort of reduction given i have a print subscription with this product so it gets 4.

Have had several attempts to d'load edition 291 all failed max 30% before failed. Reported to publisher & apple hope for solution a few weeks ago as yet no reply, though they have my £3.99 that went thro ok. At this time do not recommend download other than freebie.

Don't buy an iPad magazine!
Downloaded the original app and it kept crashing while downloading the mags I paid for!
At last an update from the publisher with 'bug fixes'..........bad news guys, it still crashes before I get the mag I paid good money for! :(
Time for a refund but still not forthcoming.

Cheaper than mag, with extra content
You get everything that's in the printed mag plus some extra stuff like videos. Reading a mag on an iPad isn't quite the same as a real mag but you can zoom etc on the smaller text. You can always try the free issue before buying if you're not sure.
