Very good metronome app!
Every feature you could imagine but still easy to use. As a beginner guitarist I particularly like the voice counting the rhythm for me including an option for sub divisions. Helps me put more attention on what I’m playing. I’m usually playing later in the evening when I’m tired!

Love This App!
I have been using this metronome app for years and then there was a period of time where there seemed to be no updates and reluctantly I stopped using it.
Several weeks ago something lead me to check the app out again and was so pleased to see it had been shown some love and updated!
I’ve not stopped using since!
The design is clean and intuitive, it covers all the important aspects and is accurate.

I like this metronome. I use it very simply - mainly to set a fixed cadence on an exercise bike - I set a moderate resistance level on the bike, then switch to a high resistance for ‘sprinting’. I use a Tabata timer to time everything - works well. Recommended

Amazing metronome app
This is the best metronome app I have ever used. I do a lot of music and it never fails to impress, it’s fully customisable as well. There are so many features and one of the most important things is that the choice of tempo is extremely wide, going from 1-500 bpm! It’s not just a metronome either, you can choose what it sounds like (13 options), I like making drum beats with it as that is a sound option too. Any time I need a metronome it’s always perfect. I have not found a better metronome app. Would definitely recommend.

Not stable using bluetooth devices
I love this and I am using it a lot connected via BT to a portable guitar amp. Unfortunately it becomes unstable with BT and also introduces so many more artefacts than other metronomes with less features

So useful and no nonsense
I don’t write reviews but I’ve used this app so often thought it’s only fair - the design and function of this is spot on and there’s no pop ups or anything annoying about it, just pure usability.

What we were looking for
This app truly is the best. Maybe there are other like it Apple Store is like the ocean so who knows. But this has everything. It has the ability to create songs-through playlists that switches to the automatically- that change tempo and you can adjust those in every shape possible. This really helped me to have a clear image of the main beats when 4/4 changes to 7/8 then 8/8, 5/4, 6/8, 3/2, 3/4 etc. Also accelerating the tempo and many other features that is not in my interest now. Probably in the near future I’ll find a feature that I didn’t know I needed.
It has a wealthy array of sounds for the metronome clicks from very loud to very soft that really helps when you listen through a headphone so that your ear doesn’t get tired or get bored with the sound.
The look is not very impressive at first sight, it might seem as unpolished or not luxurious.
But boy what features it has.
Congratulations and thank you for creating such an app.

Only metronome I’ve needed for years
This is the only metronome I’ve used for the last 5 years or so. The only think I would say is that I wish you could go higher than 16/4. I wanted to try something in 23/16 but I couldn’t find out how. Maybe there’s a function to allow you to do two bars of different time sigs but I haven’t had a proper look. Either way it’s a 5 star metronome. Get the pro app, for the price it’s is unbelievably worth it, and you can download it on multiple apple devices so for however much it is (very affordable) I have the pro version on 3 devices

Best metronome
I was really impressed with the free version of this app & so took a chance on the paid version. Unfortunately there have been no updates for 5 years so I guess it’s no longer supported. Still no problems so far. A real shame that it appears to have been been abandoned, hence 4 stars not 5. I tried most of the popular metronome apps on the store & this is definitely the best, a huge range of features - just hope it works with iOS14!

Needs an update!
No update in 4 years?
It’s a great app and I use it a lot. But, and I’m guessing it’s because of iOS updates, I can no longer edit playlists and move songs around. The ‘three lines’ button that you can usually grab to move a playlist item up or down in the order, is no longer showing, so I have to copy songs to a new playlist each time, which is extremely convoluted and inconvenient.
I paid for the pro version expecting to receive support and updates to keep it working.

Not optimised for iPhone X, Xs, 11
On my older iPhone 7 it is a great app, possibly the best metronome. On my new iPhone XS Max the app is not optimised for the screen so it has huge black bars at the bottom and the top. On top of that the app is slow to open, change settings and is buggy when using the gestures for the newer iPhones.
An update or overhaul do this app is 2 years overdue.

Essential
Really find the speed automator useful for building left and right hand coordination and speed. A count in time would make it even better. Best metro app there is. Simple as that.
Edit: dropped to three stars as the app hasn't had an update in 4 years and has unfortunately been abandoned. There are display issues on the iPhone X where things don't line up. Not filling the screen and the tempo dial is not aligned. It's a real shame, as it was a great app. It still works fine, just some graphic glitches. If it could be fixed via an update, I would give it 5 stars again.

Limited Basic Freebie
Looking for those playlists and additional functions, then you’ll have to pay! Seven add-ons for £3.99. I don’t like the ‘swinging slider analogue display as it describes a straight line and not an arc, also as your eye naturally tries to follow it, on a iPad Pro and fast tempo, it gave me eye strain= poor visibility. Therefore, without buying I’m still looking for a Setlist playing app that’ll retain your data even after the inevitable updates.

Great metronome but why on earth does the setlist not finish at the end and instead rolls back to the first tune???? Am I ding something wrong?

I have tried 6 metronomes, trying to find an actually good one but all of the either has ads or just a terrible off time metronome but this one is amazing. Great metronome no ads a tempo which can have different accents

Had to delete and start again
I have the basic version and got it stuck on a really annoying subdivision. Would not return to simple beat so I had to stop using it. In the end delete and reload solved it.

It's a really good metronome for practising piano, and also has great sounds for the actual beats (Does that make sense? 😆) My only problem was when I accidentally pressed something and lost the metronome sound, and so had to re-install it. However, after doing so, I've had no trouble with it!

First class app.
I'm a drummer and needed a new click. I wanted one with a choice of clock sounds (hate those piercing bleep ones). This has over a dozen all different which work with different styles of songs I'm playing. Also a very nice choice of time signatures, very pro. Plus a bank to save different clicks for different songs in the set. Plus plus plus ....

This app enabled me to get to grips with this Grade 6 piano piece written in a northern Chinese tradition. I am not Chinese so found the timing extremely difficult. Impossible to count 1-8 consistently over 30 bars.

Love this app. Worth every penny. Solid. So simple yet extremely flexible, I can set up pretty much every type of timekeeping that I need. This app is amazing. I can do things that would be impossible on my normal metronome. There is even a really cool drum beat setting which allows you to have a drum beat going in the background of your playing. Great App!! Totally recommend.
