Basis is great but needs a little more

The app is great and is lovely to have a social network for anglers. However i live in the U.K. and have found many of the gear we have over here is not on the app such as the rods and reels and a lot of baits. It’d be great to see a big update or the ability to add your own gear yourself instead of choosing from a set selection. Such as adding certain boilies or hooks you own. I also understand you have to make money some how but the high price for the premium package is frustrating as I’d love to see exact locations. This is not negative as obviously I understand there has to be profit somewhere. But overall a great app that I find myself checking regularly and I’m excited to see what else comes in the future!

Used to be great but now takes forever to load (if it doesnt crash) and seems unusable despite multiple updates its still junk!

Could be good but does not let you add gear!

I could just about forgive them for the rip-off premium costs if you could add gear, does not have the make and models of any of my gear, I think most of the stuff is from the USA as it does not have any of the U.K. reels I have, nor the rods and no where to add equipment. Has potential but a long way to go before any real use.

Login Troubles

This app is great. Was recommended by a friend whom I’ve been fishing with a few times and yeah, it’s good. Nice features, and easy to navigate. But I have one problem and that’s logging in to my account. When I input my username or email, I get emailed a “magic link” which should redirect and let me enter my account, although when I click the link, it redirects me to the App Store (even though I have the app already) and when I open it, it just goes back to the screen where it says to click on the email link I was sent. It’s like going in a circle and I’m a bit confused. Could I get some help regarding this. But overall, the app is good and a nice platform to share all your catches.

Interesting

Interesting app, useful to know what's being caught in the local area. Although I'm not a paid member so can't see exactly where. But just knowing roughly what's about is good for me so far!

The app is great for Angler’s alike but when uploading a catch the locations are wrong? I think the locations in the uk need updating because it’s not the right locations for where it is etc but all in all great app and can’t go wrong bcos it’s free👌🏼👌🏼 keep it up guys

Request to cancel subscription unanswered

I tried out Fishbrain for a trip but it didn’t work for me. I messaged them through the app to request that my account be cancelled to avoid the yearly subscription charge on 8th July, but I heard no response. I have since been charged with the year subscription of £59! I am still trying to get in touch with them to sort this out!

Good but needs a little bit more

Right... so great app to use and it has some nice features. It needs to keep up to date with the main bait suppliers so people can actually see what others use.

Now.. I’m in Poland for two days and I’ve decided to load the map and see what’s around me. I could see the depths in random lakes and rivers in Poland. I did the same for Germany, Belgium , France. I did not see the same for England. A bit disappointing if you ask me. I’m still using the app and I’ll be using it in the future as it’s cool, but we need it improved a bit more so the UKs waters are better represented

Only getting used to this app. So far so good. Only thing, I've marked a few exact locations of where I caught my fish and it hasn't recognised the lough. One of them being a major lough in n ireland, lower lough erne. Maybe I'm doing something wrong???
