Description
Fill-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-art pictures when solved. Challenging, deductive and artistic, this original Conceptis puzzle offers the ultimate mix of logic, art and fun while providing solvers with many hours of mentally stimulating entertainment.
Each puzzle consists of a grid containing clues in various places. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by painting the squares around each clue so that the number of painted squares, including the square with the clue, matches the value of the clue.
The game features a unique fingertip cursor which enables playing large puzzle grids with ease and precision: to fill a square, move cursor to the desired location and tap anywhere on the screen. To fill multiple squares, press and hold fingertip until cursor fills the square and start dragging to neighboring squares. The game also features a powerful Smart-fill cursor for quick, single-tap filling of all remaining empty squares around a clue.

As good as it looks
Really enjoying this game. I have tried the paper version (mosaic from Puzzler?) which I also like but this electronic version is better. Perhaps because it’s on my phone and I can pick it up any time😀

Brilliant puzzles and great replay value. Only one thing could make this better -how about a hint facility? Sometimes I’m stuck forever and a hint would be great.

Intricate pictures which are very addictive. I find best to use a stylus for accuracy. Good to have a check button for the large pictures. I would not enjoy the large drawings with pencil and paper - this is so much better. Good fun Mau : D

Good but glitchy controls
Great game (I buy the extra large packs for the iPad Air 2.)
BUT...
Recently getting very glitchy controls which are ruining my puzzles. Try to move the cursor but it takes a while to move and it selects a random square which ruins and invalidates my puzzle.
Considering I spent £8 on a pack, I'd expect much better.
The game never used to be glitchy, please fix it! :(

It's taken a while for me to adapt to doing the puzzles on a tablet after many years of doing them on paper but now I've got the hang of it I find them enjoyable. I doubt if I'll continue playing after I've completed the free ones as I find the prices too high. Shame.

Disappointed
I love this game, and have bought many, many extra packs but will no longer be buying any due to the price increase. £7.99 for 20 iPad size puzzles is horrendous. I have happily paid the previously lower price over and over, but you have now lost a very loyal customer and player.

Great game!
I've loved Fill-a-Pix puzzles for many years and used to play them on Conceptis' website. This app is even better because I can take my puzzles with me everywhere :o)
The extra puzzle packs will keep me puzzling for many, many hours! :o)

High Quality Game
I'm a fan of other conceptis puzzle games, so gave this a go. It's presented to the usual high quality using the same control scheme as pic a pix and link a pix. I've grown to like the controls on those other games, so it works well for me. I find the puzzles enjoyable & relaxing. Extra puzzle purchases are a bit expensive in my opinion.

Fix the restart
Love this app and play it most days but if I purchase a volume I expect to be able to play it through more than once. Since the update this isn't possible which is utterly ridiculous. You want £5.49 for some volumes and won't let the customers use it more than once!! I won't be buying any more until this is fixed!

Really Not Happy
I love doing these puzzles but since the latest update I can no longer restart the puzzles. I am very unhappy about that as I have spent a lot of money on them and expect to be able to do them more than once.

Love it!
I love conceptis puzzles and am currently addicted to fill a pix. Once you get a hang of the different "rules" it's hard to put down! I would like to see however a left handed option for the buttons at the top, for checking answers and changing the selection square from a grid to a single unit. Only a small gripe to an otherwise excellent app!

Great app, works a treat!
If you like this kind of puzzle it's fantastic. I do them on paper by hand as well (in "Beyond Sudoku" books) but being able to enter whole block sets at once electronically is really useful!
I don't think the 1-star reviewer is right. It's all straight logic, but the more difficult ones are very hard to see with interactions between many groups of numbers. Sometimes the logic is very hard work / almost impossible!

I am addicted to the online versions of these puzzles and have been eagerly awaiting the app. It'd be great to have more puzzles and to be able to sync with my online profile so that I can complete puzzles I've purchased whilst on the go.

Downloads not working
App has been working really well, until now when I have purchased two grid packs and both are for some reason unable to be downloaded. Not happy. Please sort this.

Fantastic to be able to play these puzzles on my phone with a very easy interface. Will certainly consider paying for more packs once I complete the free ones, as I would spend that money on a puzzle magazine anyway.

I love this game, and this app! I play it most days. To the point where I've completed all the smaller advanced sets, and I've started deleting them to do them again. I find the larger sets take a long time - over an hour - to complete and as i get a bit obsessive about them, i then end up being sleep deprived! I've probably spent a fortune a couple of pounds at a time. I suppose those would be my criticisms; that it would be great if the price dropped by about a third, and that we nerd more game sets. Other than that, great job to the developers :-)

Fab app.
Brilliant if you like these kinds of puzzles! Waste hours on the basic puzzles. Find some of the advanced logic a bit too tough though and maybe an inbetween level would be good.
Would be 5* only occasional bug means I lose my place while playing and re-sets to where I last played.
Otherwise fantastic :).
