Draw to measure distance along the map, made easy with this app. Now with area measurement and custom coefficients.
Usage
-------
By simply touching. Draw a route on the map to find its distance / area. Magnifier will help you make precise drawing and measurement.
◆ Switch between Move and Measure mode. So you can pick where you want to begin measurement or begin right away. You can keep moving the map and continue measure longer distance.
◆ Switch between Area and Distance calculation.
◆ Press "Unit" button to change display units.
◆ Press "Undo" button to make any changes
◆ Press "Share" button to export result (with screenshot) to Twitter, Camera roll, Email, and much more.
◆ Press “Search” button to search for desired location. Please type in coordinates value, MGRS, NACS, Web Mercator, and many more. Or search location by name of place, city, state, or country.
Note: Distance and Area are calculate based on the earth curvature.

It is now possible to use this app as more advanced distance / area calculator tool. Set your own custom units. (Limited to two units for free version)

Fabulous APP
I've been looking for an APP like this for ages. I seem to always forget to track my walk on my phone and wanted something to do it for me when I finished the walk. This is easy to use and does what it says on the tin. Great APP.

Inaccurate
Inaccurate, went for what I expected to be a 2.5 mile run measure using this app. In reality ended up only being 1.3 mile run in Endomondo.

Good app. But....
Only problem I have found with this app is when you are planning/tracking a route if you go off the screen in your journey and have to move the map it doesn't let you continue mapping or even keep the distance adding up it just resets which is a little frustrating.
As soon as an accumulator is added or a tool to let you move the map without losing your route then this would easily get 5*.

I am a powered wheel chair user, so I need to know just how far to go, this app I find easy to use and plan ahead my journeys. This app and my chair will give me a life that was stolen from me many years ago. Thank you.

Handy little app.
I don't need anything sophisticated, so this suits me.
It is also useful for UK route planning, as the map scale is usually OK for cross country journeys and it allows me to choose any route, not just the main-road biased ones offered on Google Maps etc.

This is such an easy app to use. No need to add bookmarks, or even be connected to the network. Just drag your finger along the route.

Needs improvement
Nice little map app, but if you need to move map you lose all your measurements. Could do with a continue feature. As soon as you remove finger and move map you lose all your data!!! Pointless.

Useful app
I use this to measure training runs in my local area and it works well, even able to incorporate footpaths as long as you know where they are (as the map doesn't show them).
Best for local use as you have to be able to fit the whole of the route you are measuring onto the screen. If you need to scroll down or across your route will not be saved.

Move and measure
Would be a great app were it not for the fact that you can't move the map in measuring mode as this wipes out your route, so not ideal for creating running routes or long distance journeys.

Very accurate and very simple to use, if you need to find the distance between two points this app couldn't be more simpler.

Not bad, but ...
I think this is quite a neat little app. The mapping could do with improving/updating so as to pick up footpaths, and I would like the ability to be able to scroll the maps when in 'measure' mode so that if I want to use close in map views, and measure a distance that takes me beyond the perimeter of that initial page view I can. At present I can only measure to the perimeter of that initial page view, and the open a new map page and pick up my route - except that then I lose the distance data from the first measure exercise?
If the map scrolling function is difficult, could you add some sort of accumulator function, so as to carry forward distances from one measure exercise to another, with a totalling function for use at the end of my various measured map view pages.
Sorry, the above is probably not very well expressed, but I know what I mean!

Good basic app
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Only minor grumble would be the absence of a google map search function but hey this is a free app after all.
