Red reward

Trying to claim a red reward is like trying to wear a pair of sunglasses with no ears. Complete waste of time. Why give a reward on an app but then you have to order it all separate. Takes forever and is confusing and staff are none the wiser either.

Bridgwater Branch Amazing service

Appalling app

I had spent 25 mins trying to reclaim my orange bonus - a free half chicken but the app gets to the end and then just crashes or says “it’s not you it’s us” - just a con. Sadly my autistic son has been told this is what I’m getting him so I have to lose the he’s part of £10. Just wish organisations would be honest.

Appalling

This app asks for address details for delivery and then fails to transfer the details correctly to Deliveroo, they will try and call apparently but as I occasionally get signal drop out I cannot be sure if that was true. There is no refund if you have this occur because they will tell you you entered the details incorrectly and offer empty and meaningless apologies.
DO NOT USE for delivery. Either order via Deliveroo or collect.

Price Gouging is insane

2 years ago 2 meals was £30 now it’s £48 for the exact same food-
A double chicken wrap with halloumi and 2 sides is £21!!!! Absolutely insane prices totally prevents us from ever being regular customers- I hope they’re paying their staff £20 an hour cause anything less is criminal considering they’re charging high end restaurant prices for bang average food- typical 2025 business strategy just gouge the ever living **** out of people’s wallets in the name of a profit margin- disgusting

Poor app

Poor app. All I want to do is see nearby Nando’s and If they’re halal. There used to be a map of all Nando’s near us and you could filter halal on or off and zoom in. Instead they make you jump through hoops or go to the website. What a waste of time. I don’t want a list of Nando’s if I don’t know an area and names it a postcode. Give me a map I can zoom in and out of with a toggle for halal

Not good on iPhone 15 screen

Great app, when it works. However zero signal in my local Nando’s (Fareham) and wifi not fit for purpose.
Added to that on iPhone you are unable to click on setting button or your own name to log in/out as it underneath the time and network info or the Dynamic Island. The app developers have not tested with up to date iPhones….

Disgusting don’t use

Don’t use this app , food won’t be delivered , we ordered through the app and both me and my boyfriend we’re constantly checking outside for driver to arrive . We spent over £50 on the food and were told the driver had delivered the food when they hadn’t , when contacting Nando’s / Deliveroo they implied we were lying and that the food had arrived and the driver had waited 23 minutes outside the house which is not true , we contacted asking at the very least to report the driver so it didn’t happen to anyone else and we’re met with what felt like a very ai generated email . Very disappointed will never use again , after being a very loyal customer previously

Rubbish apps

every time order there they have collected the money from my bank but not success. Finally u found out somebody already having there food u got nothing than u can see your order is missing and you have to follow-up at the cashier. Simply to say you are one of their staff. App excellent but flawed

I’ve used this app countless times and it’s great. Used for eat in and for deliveries. The only feedback I have is that you can’t leave notes for the Nando’s restaurant if ordering for home delivery and the sauce sachets can’t be added.
It’s just annoying as you have to call the restaurant to do this. It’s a simple thing, add it on the app or add the functionality of notes so it can be followed through. I bet the restaurants get annoyed with having to take calls for something as simple as this that should be on the app already.

Exceptional 🤩

The food was cooked to perfection and the service from Yohanna was impeccable. Yohanna made sure we were comfortable with the table and regularly checked on my husband and I to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy with the food. The rest of the team were lovely also but Yohanna was the main star of the show. A huge credit to the team at Reading gateway 👏🏼

Rude staff member

Very disappointed to find that the very same staff member that we asked for help and then walked away and didn’t come back. That time other staff members were aware of this behaviour. Today I asked and member of staff for assistance, it was the same guy, he just said “nope” and walked off.. again another member of staff seemed aware that his colleague was behaving like this.. I feel like we can’t use this location again

App crashed upon payment, billed twice

The app crashed when I tried to pay with Apple Pay. An error message came up telling me not to pay again, but also that my order had not been processed. This was very confusing. I had to speak with the manager who told me that my order was not received in their system, and since I had not received an email confirmation, it meant that my order was not sent. He asked me to order again at the till point. However, when I looked on my phone, I saw that I had been billed twice - once for the “incomplete order” from when the app crashed, and the second time from when I paid at the restaurant’s till. I have had to raise a dispute through my credit card company. This is terrible on Nando’s part. The app charged me but there is no history of my transaction in the app or via email!

Welcoming and Friendly

As soon as i walked in I was greeted immediately by the manager he was very welcoming and showed me where everything was. I used yhe App to order but again the staff were so quick attentive and i would most definitely recommend Belfast Victoria as a great place to eat

The restaurant very nice and the food great, the food came in less than 5 minutes when I ordered from the app the staff was amazing I was seated in a prime spot and special thanks to Rafael ! He went above and beyond the service. I was really well looked after.

Chill

Nando’s never fails to please (so long as it’s not in London!) We all know the food is incredible but it’s the attentive and wonderful staff that gives Nando’s the edge. Always on the ball, no nonsense service. They are all just supremely chill characters who don’t compromise their uniqueness.
This restaurant really needs a waiting zone though. Just a small effort by the designers might have lined either side of an aisle with bench seats rather than sending people outside.

Exceptional service as always

I was not greatest of moods today, lily welcomed myself and my son with the biggest smile and accommodated us straight away. She cracked a funny little joke with my son and made us both laugh. After our food arrived swiftly she came back and asked if everything was okay and we got what we ordered. We really need more people like Lilly who cheer us up! Crap your pants incredible!

Not only do I love the fast food franchise Nandos, but when I got the app at 2:34pm on the 18th of September 2022, it was like my life changed for the better! From 2:34pm on the 18th of September 2022, I have been able to order my evening Nandos order (a cheeky double chicken rap with no yoghurt, pineapple and on special occasions a side of crispy garlic bread) without having to order formally, and see all the options in front of my eyes. Disgraceful customer service

If you have an issue with your delivery, you might as well just forget about it. The only option to give any feedback is via a phone number - no star ratings or feedback forms - then some person in a call centre with no authority is targeted to ignore all your issues, because ‘the process doesn’t allow’. At best they’ll recommend you email the Nando’s branch directory. No accountability from either Nando’s or Delveroo. It’s like both parties assume it’s the other’s brand equity at risk, so they have no concern for your experience

Price increase

Always loved Nando’s. Good food for value. But where we have been eating for two people around the £35 before, we now are looking at around £48 for the same orders. That’s an extreme price increase. Seriously considering giving smaller places a chance going forward instead of eating at Nando’s. The end of an area….we have been coming here for 10 years every week.

Wine good too!

I would not normally order wine at this kinda place… that’s just me. But today I thought, what the bell, the food is good… the staff are lovely… let’s give it a go. And they accidentally brought a red when I’d ordered a white. They left the red with us and my partner tasted it and was impressed! The white arrived and we were so impressed with both! Then we learnt the owners of Nando’s also own a winery in S Africa! A biodynamic winery and by golly it tasted so good!

Worse app ever

I recently used the Nando's app to place an order, but unfortunately, the app failed to provide me with any indication that my order had been placed. Despite the payment being deducted from my account, there was no update or notification regarding the status of my order. As a result, I had to wait for around 10 minutes, hoping for some sort of confirmation or update through the app.
As I grew increasingly concerned, I contacted the branch to enquire about my order. While waiting on hold, an automated operator suggested checking for updates on the order and reviewing my email. Unfortunately, I had not received any email updates, leading me to the conclusion that my payment had been processed, but my order had not been placed.
I have to say, my experience with this app has been extremely disappointing. It lacks basic features such as order history, notifications, and updates on the status of your order. In comparison, Deliveroo provides a much better service with all of the aforementioned features. Overall, I would not recommend this app to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient ordering experience.
Based on my experience, I can confidently say that I will never use this app again for any future orders, be it takeaway or dine-in. The lack of basic features and the confusion caused by the missing order status updates has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I will be seeking an alternative app that provides a more reliable and efficient service.

Does The Job…

I am able to use and order through the app pretty easily, but ordering to deliver often has problems meaning I have to place the order twice before it actually goes through. There is no way to add receipts from other orders onto the Nando’s Rewards Card, which is rather a pity.

We are regulars here at the broughton nandos and for about a year now every time we’ve come JOSH B has always give us the biggest welcome, sorted any needs required, made us feel relaxed and made us enjoy are time. This is how fine dining should be, hats off to JOSH B keep up the could work!!

Shocked at the poor service

Absolutely appalling customer service.
I payed for my meal and also used a chilli reward. Waited an hour for my delivery, to be told it was delivered when it wasn’t. I called and was told there was an address error so I wont receive my food. This is the address i use every-time. I now have to wait 5 days for a refund. And have to wait another hour to replace the order I already waited an hour for. Also I no longer can use my reward as it was used for the cancelled order. I am fuming.

Fed up with it constantly forgetting my logon details

The app keeps forgetting my logon details - which considering you need it to order in the restaurant now is the most annoying, stupid thing any app can do - *remember* my details !!!!!! 😡
Received an update from developer which was appreciated, but it was to confirm that this logout is intentional - unimpressed, it is not helpful and as a software dev myself there must be better alternatives - review dropped from 2 x stars to 1 x star as a consequence - this type of “well that is what we do” is lot helpful at all and they need to consider other options that make the use of the app more convenient without sacrificing security.

Hoping it works properly now?

I’ve been reluctant to use the app because on the last 2 occasions it didn’t work properly. On the first I got a double order and on the second it failed repeatedly after I attempted to process the final order.
I’ve been a customer since the first restaurant opened in South Africa back in the early ‘90s and the food has been consistent since then.
Fingers crossed that it’s sorted out now!

Food great- online order needs work

Wonderful fried chicken and sides. However the app often takes you right back to the start, forgets your table number and starts a delivery / collection order if you want to add or change anything when you select menu. Hopefully this bug gets sorted soon.

I can’t use Apple Pay on Deliveroo

Thank god for this app - love my Nando’s
But despite contacting deliveroo - still I can’t use Apple Pay
Apple Pay works on ALL my other apps (that have it as an option)
I have deleted the app and re-downloaded. Still it doesn’t want to know…
Takes me all the way to the but where it asks how I want to pay - I click ‘apple pay’
Normally it’ll then ask me to double click the side button - but in this case, nothing happens.
Anyone who may know the solution - do say.

Works as its supposed to. Maybe it’s been updated since the bad reviews were written.

First time using the app so perhaps i could’ve just gotten lucky with my time using the app, but I used it to order food to deliver and it worked a treat.
Maybe the app was bad in the past? Im not sure because I didn’t have it back then but it seems fine.
A lot of people seem to be mentioning them having to login constantly? I simply logged in with google and that was that.

Works well

I have had no issues with the app. Used it for both collection and delivery and have never had to login again. Lots of the negative reviews seem quite old so maybe the problem has been fixed.

Appalling - issues with every order

Starting with the good part, the app looks good, but that’s about it. The app has got a MASSIVE problem, at first my address was showing in the incorrect place on the map when the riders were on their way. Now it shows correctly on my app, but 4 consecutive times now Deliveroo riders were seeing the pin in a completely different place and ended up in other places around London. Triple checked my address and it’s been put in correctly. I also leave notes for riders which they don’t read. Clearly some sort of issue between Nando’s and Deliveroo, which they don’t seem to be able to sort. Until this is sorted you should turn off deliveries through the app as it’s causing customers and Deliveroo riders a big headache. Disappointing.

Do not use this app if you want to actually eat

I tried to order twice in one night. On both occasions the delivery location marked on the map was nowhere near the address I’d entered. So I had to call customer service and get both attempts refunded.
I don’t live at some strange address that is prone to mixups. Nor did the street they attempted delivery at have the same name as mine. It was literally a random location.
How in 2022 do they not have a delivery platform that knows where postcodes are?

Gift cards

Brilliant the app allows to use gift cards to make payment but it would be great if more than one gift card can be entered.
If you have multiple cards to make payment then this app doesn’t allow you and you end up having small amounts of each gift card.
Hope future update will allow this so that you can make online orders rather than having to order from the restaurant counter itself to use up the gift cards

Great app for ordering from restaurant, delivery a joke.

I used to love this app then it came time to put in a home delivery. You have to drag a pin over map to say where you live which is fun for flats, then turns out as it’s not Nandos doing delivery can not use voucher for Nandos or your rewards.

Ordering works! I have a suggestion!

When I get my wings every week I like them crispy, I have to always call the store and ask them to cook my chicken crispy and the skin not to be like rubber. You need a option on your app to ask the customer, how well do you want your chicken... crispy, well done and so on...
Just put a box in that says how well you want your chicken done!

Basic

Good for ordering delivery, and paying via apple pay. However, does not cope when you try to order for collection- it takes you to the website, then app, then freezes. Same thing if you try and view your nando’s rewards.
App also states a new feature is using nando rewards on order to collect, but it freezes every time you try. Kinda disappointing, as i love the food, and Nando’s is a big company, and should be able to afford the bug fixes!

Very poor

An absolutely useless app. Keeps switching between the app and the website. Went to do a big order today and when I went to check out I had to use a facebook or google login, but I have neither! I originally created a login with my hotmail details so it wouldn’t let me checkout. I ended up giving up and going through Deliveroo instead. Could have save myself a lot of time by going straight to Deliveroo to begin with! Also makes me reset my password every time I try to log into the app..?? Really frustrating app!

Dreadful app. Constant log-in problems

Really poor experience when it constantly switches you from the app to the website and back to the app again. So confusing as to what it’s doing.
The constant log-in issues is also just so frustrating. Every time I try and log-in (and I really mean every time) I get told my password is invalid. Every time I need to reset a new password and every time I just re-use the same password I sued last time and then it eventually works. Takes approx. 10 minutes to log-in before you can even start to order online.
Finally, can you not show us what click and collect times are available at the start of process and let us choose one then. Spent another 10 minutes selecting what I wanted only to find out the the earliest available time was 9:50pm ... it was 5:45pm when I was doing this! Complete waste of time.

Get rid of the webpage

Just build a proper native app. The workaround web page is just too annoying and is not a seamless experience especially when the webpage crashes. I was on the app 15 mins and gave up ordering. had to go to Deliveroo.

Appalling App

Absolute waste of time. Can’t log in, can’t chose Click & Collect or Delivery. What is the point of this App. Every update fails to deliver.
Unbelievable that a company this big could have such a poor App.
Their digital media team or whoever is responsible for this shambles should be sacked immediately as it must be costing them thousands in lost revenues.
UPDATE: I have now been contacted by the developer to say this is fixed which it seems to be, but don’t they do any testing before releasing an update?
I still can’t order through the app though, it takes me to the website every time and despite the fact I have enabled location services I have to put in a postcode every time to find my nearest branch. Why can’t you just save your local branch in your profile like most other apps?

Changes need to be made

I’ve spent the whole afternoon trying to add my Nando’s card to my Apple wallet and it keeps talking about how it cannot download the passbook
(On Firefox , Safari and Chrome )
The user journey is very poor , if you’re going to be redirected to a web browser it defeats the purpose of having an app. It’s literally quicker ordering via website and even using that , it’s not very responsive .
Then to make an order for delivery you have to login via browser again , it just doesn’t make much sense
Trying to be constructive here but app dev team please work on a seamless user journey

Just used the app today to place an order and it worked perfectly. Still not happy that points expire but that’ll be a corporate decision. This app has had some serious issues in the past so it’s great that it’s working as it should. Authentication via the website is a bit of a pain but not a showstopper. Thanks for taking all the feedback on board and making the necessary improvements. And now that you do plant-based options I’m as happy as a piglet in clean straw 🥰

Crap App!!!

This App is crap!!! Since an update about a year ago, I’ve not been able to use it as the fonts are way too massive and you can’t click on any tabs to do anything in the App because the words overlap. I’ve deleted and re-installed it countless times, but result is same. Always have to use the website version to access my card for use in the store or to make an order.
Kindly sort out whatever the problem is. Even new Apps from other stores work much better.

Don’t no what you’ve done

After about half an hour I was finally about to order my food for collecting. It was the most annoying thing every. Updated the app just for it to log me out cool. Managed to log back into the app just to find out that I have to re enter in my nandos card. Surely if I am logging in the card should be attached to my account... only reason why I got the app to begin with. Went to order the food got directed to to the website, cool, just to find out that I need to enter my Nando’s card again and then wait to an email to verify. Did that again. Went back to the website, refreshed asked for it again. At this point I almost gave up, only because the KFC near me was closed was the only reason y I went through the process again. I’ve never been so frustrated with a app before. At least before it wasn’t so bad. Need to sort out your app guys.

Nandos App

No issues logging in, unlike it appears other people do have that issue. App works as expected and shows the relevant info for your rewards.
Four stars only because the App still doesn’t allow you to add the Nandos card to Apple Wallet, so I’m still carrying around a reward card for Nandos. Please add the membership card to the app at least!

Pointless. Can’t order delivery with it

What’s the point?? Downloaded the app, asked me to create an account, then asked to verify email, then app asked whether collection or delivery and asked me to login again, selected delivery, then told can’t order delivery through app, go back to website, asked to log in again, then a message saying to join loyalty scheme, go to a store, collect a card, then enter into app. Sort your customer journeys out. This is officially too hard. Waste of time. Deleting app 10 mins after downloading it & now ordering lunch elsewhere..

All Problems

Is the Nando’s App the worst in the World !! If not it comes a close second, I have never ever encountered so many problems with a food App in my 60yrs if life, everyone I log in it says wrong info, I have lost count of the points I’ve lost through the frustration of not being able to log in even though my details are 100% correct it says they’re not and asks every time for me to log in again Grrrr. I just Deleted the App now let’s try again

Dev outsourced to an alien planet

Where on earth have you gone with this update? Asked to log back in. Fails, even though the credentials are correct. Enter my Nandos card upon getting around the previous point (once in). Why ask for my Nandos card? Logged online and worked fine but only on Safari. Chrome fails. Nandos card format entry is failing in-app. It’s like you’ve done all you can to make it an impossible challenge for existing users. No point in having the app if it’s like this. Utter crap. My son can build an app which can use auth 0 successfully. Don’t download or update your existing apps. It’ll make you feel upset and extremely frustrated - I’m sure some people will resort to calling emergency services (sic).
