Failure to open favourites
Since updating my iPhone to 17.2 I am unable to open my favourites so at the moment I cannot access any of my downloads. As I have paid for this I would expect the developer to keep it up to date!

Fine as a database of tabs but useless for performance as autoscroll feature doesn't work.

It just takes tabs from website and puts in app...
I kind of expected more but for £3 it’s okay but How do I get a refund? It was last updated in 2015 so why are we paying?
Will just pay the life time fee for ultimate guitar.

Great content, clunky interface, no support
The latest version is a real pain to use stopping after every page when scrolling through lists and then restarting from the beginning after every selection. Whoever thought this was an improvement? The previous release was just fine. The content deserves a better app design than this...

Don’t buy this app, scrolling, which is an essential feature does not work, hasn’t worked for ages, well before lockdown and you get no support from the providers, Apple what are you doing about this lack of customer interest? It would be a decent app if not for this.

Avoid - No longer supported!
This WAS an excellent app for performing musicians - however about a year ago the scroll feature stopped working following an IOS update ..... Without the auto-scroll feature this app loses its appeal. I and many others have reported the issue and nothing has been done to correct it ..... best avoided.

Lack of Support
I downloaded the app thinking it was just what I was looking for based on the reviews particularly that it had the autoscroll feature. It doesn’t matter what I do but it just doesn’t seem to autoscroll when I play which just means I might as well now bother because it’s stop start all the time. I’ve sent an email to the support team and had an auto response back but still heard nothing off them. I get there’s a pandemic going on and maybe this is why but I’m a dissatisfied customer currently

Not linked to any of the monthly ripoff tab sites that used to be free. App is clean with some awesome feature and meets my requirements. Happy days.

Doesn’t scroll anymore!
After being assured by the developer that they will be back in touch, after 2 months they have still not responded!! I notice that they don’t mind taking your money for it but, forget any help if you need it! Useless support!!!
I have been using this app for several years now and after the last update the scrolling stopped working! I have contacted the developer a few weeks and i have had no response! This is no good to me without the scroll and i am looking for another app with scrolling that i can use at gigs. I would not currently recommend it, until the problem is fixed, if ever!!

IOS 13 Problems
Used this app for ages and loved it. Came to depend on it for gigs. Now some features won’t work after IOS 13 upgrade and the developer is totally unresponsive. Not only to me, but looking on line many are having the same issues with no support available. Highly disappointing.

Great little app
This app is just what I’ve been looking for. It works very well for me on my iPad Pro. It’s Very easy to use and Love that you can edit the chord tabs to your preference. Also like that you can search for songs within the app. Definitely worth the price

Great app
This is all I use my iPad for! In fact when iPad 1 ceased to be supported (old IOS) I bought a new one just so I could continue to use GuitarTapp. It’s my take everywhere music library, with set lists for gigs. Getting your own songs into it could be easier, but the direct link to the huge free tab libraries online makes it so easy to use.

Great app but a few improvements to be made.
Great app. Easy to use and great value for money. A few improvements could be; different colour fonts to highlight your own comments; also to be able to drag/drop the set list songs instead of using a pull-down menu to re-order your chosen songs. Otherwise, good to use.

OK, guitar tapp, I have tried to contact you for help but nothing happened.
I’ve used this app on my kindle fire for years and it’s performed well but on my new iPad it won’t respond properly except for one single time after power up, after which touch pad doesn’t work. This means I have to power off and then power on again every time I want to use the app. Not good enough.....none of my other downloads has this problem - and when I flirted briefly with ‘chord pro’ I didn’t have the problem. My iPad is the latest available, it’s unlikely to be at fault.

This is a terrific app! I can find lyrics, chords and tab for practically any song I can think of. There's also a guide to how to play the chords in each song and a tool to transpose into different keys. Excellent app, great value, highly recommend!!

Good app!
Useful as you can save transposed versions of the songs in favourites and recall quickly at a gig if need be. Very good for songs that don't come up as often and you need to jog the memory.

Does everything very well
Intuitive from menu option and I read no instructions all just goes well
We have three different set lists with different songs all saved on the device
All tabs we needed available in search
Could transpose and edit simply from the menu save it all in favourites and then add to a named set list
All this with a saved scroll speed and the ability to edit and save tabs in my favourites
Live its great - flexible and I can play set list in order effortlessly or out of order or something else from favourites
Feels like a weight has lifted
First app I have bought that does the whole job
£3 a no brainier in three hours we were good to go better than before

It works; I'd even say it works very well! For our band I used to trawl the web for chords and lyrics and then print them and put them in binders, tedious work. This app really has replaced all that, I see no reason to go back, and I do not miss the hard copies. Transpose feature is luxurious. Auto scroll is beautiful. My thanks to all the transcription contributors.

Love this App
Weighed down with books full of song sheets was such a pain especially when they came adrift and spilled all over. Therefore I purchased this app and began building an electronic song book. I have never failed to find a song and upload it, transpose it, edit it and save it to favorites. Access via iPad with the inbuilt scrolling bar is a great asset when jamming with my buddies. It is a brilliant app.

This is a good value app for storing all your guitar tabs. The good features are being able to edit the tabs with your own notation or guitar settings. Also can sync across devices, which is very useful. The scrolling feature is good for live performance ( if you just need the comfort of the music there ).
Only real drawback for me so far is that once > 100 songs then you need to access song names via an alphabet list, rather than seeing all song names listed. Also the speed seems to have slowed with more songs.
However overall a good app and well worth having !

Excellent! One to watch
Fantastic selection of tabs with all you'd expect from this type of app (auto scroll, favourites, etc). You can transpose songs - excellent for the old busking voice w limited range - and if you've forgotten your capo!
One awesome feature is that if you find a great tab that's just a bit wrong you can add it to your favourites and - get this - edit it! How cool is that??
Only just started scratching the surface of this lil beauty - looks like it can do a fair bit more.
Definitely poses a credible threat to the (too) high n mighty competition (mentioning no names … UG)

Great functionality and value
I have wanted to keep simple guitar tabs on my iPad for ages now and have often used the full web versions of sites like this on the p.c. Problem was always cost, I wasn't prepared to pay monthly subscriptions or any nonsense like that. This app solves that problem with (currently at least) a one off payment.
Functionality like song sets and auto scroll are great. I've just set up a 5 song set in under 5 mins. The auto scroll function works superbly, and then you simply click on the "next song" button and there it is, ready to go!
Loads of songs in the library, all free, everything I looked for so far is there, and I go from the 60s right through to today.

Seems to be Ok
Having just purchased this app and had a very quick play with making set lists I must say that a 'drag & drop' facility on the actual set list page would be a great help.
I'm a drummer and I use the Tempo Advanced metronome app, which has such a facility and it makes arranging your set lists at a gig an absolute piece of cake and it has an auto jumpmtomthe next song in the list too.
I haven't used this app on stage yet but intend to soon.
Would be great if some similar features appeared soon then I would probably rate as a 5.

Very Impressive
A very useful app, the catalogue of tabs/chords is extensive and extremely useful for someone like me who is still a rookie in the guitar world and needs easy access to chords and tabs of any song i can think of! The price is well worth having everything I need in one place on my iPad.
The menu (though slightly choppy) option when you have a chord or tab open is really impressive using options that will certainly help if your either having trouble with learning or wish to just save it for later.
I definitely recommend you buy this app now!
