Completes the job and completely free
It allows you to use a terminal like you would on PC and unlike many other ssh apps it’s fully free. It doesn’t have annoying pop ups or ads asking you to buy some full version except one that goes away within seconds. It has a simple UI so it’s easy to use and even features a nice SFTP among other great features

Doesn’t appear to support key forwarding though, which breaks things for me.

Best one yet!
I have a HP server in my bedroom and it can be rather load under load, therefore, I must use SSH to manually set the speeds of the fans on my server. The saved snippets have made this job very easy, changing the speed of my 6 fans in the sever takes less than one minute. Overall easy to use and does a great job!

Good app but…
This is a simple to use and good app. I’ve used it for ages.
However, the arbitrary decision to rename the VERY INTUITIVE and logical “Copy” context menu (long press) with… “Export”……… 🤦♂️🤨🧐
Possibly one of the stupidest things I’ve seen for a long time. A Mac doesn’t have “Export/paste”’it has COPY AND PASTE.
Were the developers twiddling their thumbs and in need of something to change, merely for the sake of it? Why?!!

Easy simple to use.
I use it to connect to Ubuntu and Raspberry Pi installations. It takes a bit of getting used to but the more I use it the more I realise how well thought out it is. In previous years I tried a few SSH clients but kept coming back to this one.

I can actually get work done
Paired with a decent bluetooth keyboard (I use an AnnePro 2) you can actually get work done using WebSSH which is as high a compliment as I can offer - it’s indistinguishable from a SSH client on your average Linux box

I like the implementation of the cursor keys, check out the settings to choose your preference. Great developer support given the free app (and only a very nominal cost for the useful premium features) better support than on many premium price apps. Paul

Absolutely incredible
Well done to the devs. This is such a great app. I can now port forward through an ssh tunnel from my iPad. Works system wide. Genius!
Easiest decision to upgrade from free to full version I’ve ever made. I had the free version for only 10 minutes before upgrading.
I don’t even need the extra sessions, I just think the developer deserves it.

The most fully featured terminal
I'm excited about this app as it's the most fully-featured terminal app I've seen, with a really nice hi-res font and keyboard extension. Bonus features like tunnelling work really well with the extended background operation, too. I've not found the extended keyboard as easy to use as others but the virtual arrows are really good. The app is also under very fast development so I'm sure things will continue to improve!

I wanted a quick and simple SSH app, and this delivered fantastically. In addition, I also discovered it has so many more extra functions. Luckily, these don't get in the way of enjoying the basic functionality of the app.

Great app!
A really useful app that works great and only requires a one-off payment.
Having the ability to synchronise saved hosts across devices and have multiple sessions open is very handy.
I would love to have an Intel MacOS version as well for it to be a true rival to the overpriced Termius app. Is there any chance this could happen in the future please?

WebSSH has provided me with a powerful, stable connection to my nix servers, allowing me to install and/or fix production servers directly from my iPad. An impressive piece of software.

Come a long way
I bought this app a few years ago when I was setting up a Raspberry Pi Temperature Logger with a web interface. I was running it on the original iPad (still have it too).
I have upgraded my iPad yet again and still find this app tremendously useful.
I had tried several apps at that time, all were free including this one. I was so impressed that I gave the dev money to express my satisfaction.
Time has moved on, as has this app. It was always good, now even better. When I went to download it, I found I had the pro version. Jolly good!
Amazing what can be done with an iPad these days, this is a good example.

Simply the best
Fantastic app, does exactly what I want and can do server maintenance and monitoring from anywhere.
Personally I preferred the swipe interface for the hosts to select edit & delete.

Useful
I think it's a really useful app for editing webfiles on the go, and maybe even editing entire websites using your phone. What i think it lacks is proper colour(?) coding for C#, Python, HTML etc. files so it can be made even easier. Other than that, wonderful.

Excellent app. Arnaud, I wish you the very best and bless you for your labour of love on this app. I hope you use an apple ipad as much as I do, because you will have every incentive to keep using the app yourself and doing all those little quality of life improvements over time. Even if you do not have millions of users, the ones you do have are very, very glad you started this project.

Missing arrow keys
I like this app and use it a lot.
Just recently, the arrow keys disappeared from the keyboard - they were at the top right.
Is there away of getting them back?

This is a nice, straightforward app to use for SSH access to servers. It's never given me much trouble.
I have just one complaint:
On the iPhone 7, the pad cursor keys are just a bit too small. A setting to enlarge these would be great.

Page size wrong on iPad Pro
I have been using this app for some years and it does exactly what it says on the tin, just what I need. However the size size appears to be wrong on the new iPad Pro (the ones without the button), the shell prompt is hidden behind the keyboard.
If the developer is reading this can it be fixed? As otherwise I will need to find an app that fully works.

this is mostly really good and useful, but in the latest version, latest version of iOs, once the text reaches the bottom of the screen the working line goes behind the row of buttons and I can’t see what I’m doing. come on!

Nice app, doesn’t work with IOS 13.4 properly
Nice app, but on a 12.9” IPad Pro 2020, you often cant see the line that is being typed on. When that happens you have to exit and reconnect, but seems to be a general problem, Other than that the app is nice

There is a massive bug with this app...
On opening an ssh connection you can’t see the button row of the display, so when you are in vi or have a full console you can’t see what you are typing. There appears to be no support as the website links to get support are broken.

Wasted money
This app has a lot features but most of them don’t work properly. Ssh connection works but it doesn’t display if you have 2 lines prompt. It don’t look like updated more than a year. Doesn’t support latest ssh key format.

No longer fits screen at 13.1
WebSSH Pro has been an excellent tool. However, at 13.1 on a 12.9” iPad, the bottom line of the terminal, i.e. the line with the prompt, lies below the bottom of the screen and cannot be seen. Not sure if this product is still being actively maintained?

Features are a little misleading
States can open multiple screens at same time. Not quite true. You can run multiple functions at the same time but not the same function, so you CANNOT open multiple ssh sessions as you can with apps like Termius. This was the only reason I purchased so a little disappointed. Good if you don’t need that functionality.

Can only edit a few file types in September
For example I can’t open python files or files without extensions. I think I can open .sh and .txt which means I’ve wasted five quid.
Misleading description should have stated the extensions it supports so as not to lure the unsuspecting buyer into false state of confidence. There’s a name for people who do that.

Needs updating for iPhone XS Max!
I loved this app and used it pretty much daily. However, it’s not optimised for iPhone XS Max and has some issues as a result: 1. It’s full screen. 2. You cannot scroll through your connections. 3. You cannot pull to refresh in your connection list.

Almost perfect
After trying a number of SSH client apps, WebSSH is the best app that doesn’t require an ongoing subscription. I use it on both my iPhone and iPad. My only frustration is that the settings can’t be synchronised via iCloud, so it is necessary to enter all of the server details manually on both devices. Please add this feature 🙏🏻

Best Free ssh app on the AppStore
You can quickly ssh into your server and fix a couple of things for free from your iPad.

Excellent app
Excellent app that supports both logon via password, or more significantly, through key exchange. Both OpenSSH and Putty SSH keys are accepted, and the private key can be uploaded to the iPad via iTunes with ease.
The font is clear and easy to read, I was able to connect to both my Ubuntu Server and a SSH server on my Windows 10 PC.
Common symbols are added at the top of the keyboard to save digging in to the iOS keypad, a nice feature to be sure.
Trying to find some cons, but can’t think of any. Well worth it if you need to access servers remotely.

Great SSH app for iOS
I've been using the free one for a while.
I use it for basic password ssh connections, and also those which require a cert. all work perfectly and even allows to save the cert passphrase.
One issue.
I've just decided to pay up and use the non ads version.
I wasn't expecting a new app to download, I expected the free version to unlock.
I have quite a number of ssh connections saved in the free version. Is there a way I can export these and import them to the paid app, rather than have to manually retype all the connection info, and passwords / import certs again?
This would also be super convenient to copy all saved connections between iPad and iPhone to keep both apps up to date.
