Game stuck,
Since the last update I can’t move on as the characters are all stuck in Krusty burger, I can collect the points but the characters go straight back and I can’t play any of the daily games or the new challenge.

The best record for doughnuts was 108, after the tutorial you have 95 doughnuts if you have followed the tutorial ( then I don't know if you have any idea how to save up to 100 doughnuts if you tap Homer while he's playing with the mypad 10 times and then homer will give you a Jeremiah statue + 10 doughnuts

Updated the App and can’t connect
I used to play this game years ago and loved it. Recently downloaded it again and was loving it just and much as previous years. However, sing I updated the app on advice, I can’t connect to the game. It keep saying can’t connect to server. All my connections are fine, all other devices work. Very frustrating. What’s even worse now is I’ve logged in to find all my progress Wiled out and it’s put me right back to the start! So angry..Bug fixes please!!!!

The app is brilliant but the only thing i’d say is the money from doing time consuming tasks isn’t a lot compared to how much time it takes.Also i’d like to point out that since this update earlier today my app has not been working, it stays on the loading screen for quite a while and then tells me to reconnect.

What happens at level 939??
I’ve been playing this game for years and it’s now part of my daily rituals. Nothing obsessive but there’s something relaxing and comforting in seeing my Springfield growing and getting better over the years.
I’m just dreading reaching level 939 because it appears to be the last one available: what happens next?? The “friends” in other Springfields all stopped playing at level 939 which makes me think it means there aren’t any more after that.. I hope I’ll still be able to play even if not with new levels.
I also have way too much money, I wish I had a way to spend it without getting too much XP (and reaching levels faster, which I’m trying to avoid by not getting characters to do jobs, I just play the special quests).

Please fix bugs!
I’ve been playing this game for years, however I am getting really peeved at a bug that simply will not go away. Basically, I sent my characters on a daily quest, I log back in and it tells me they have finished, however when I click on the building to complete the task the characters come out but then go straight back in again? This then doesn’t allow me to send them on other tasks. Please fix this asap, I have spent a fair bit of money on this game so the least you could do is check this and other bugs brought to your attention by other gamers!

Tapped out could possibly be the best game yet.
With the lack of advertisements you have limitless playtime.
The game is basically just rebuilding Springfield after the tutorial you have full control and can choose what the characters do like jobs and stuff.

So this game is OLD!! But not in a bad way, the fact that it’s still going is impressive especially these days so credit is due to the developers! This game is okay, but it would be 100% better if there were fewer additional timed quests. They are boring, use a ridiculous amount of character time, and the rewards are not worth it. Even if you ignore them and wait for the deadline to pass the stupid thing stays forcing you to complete the first load of tasks for unwanted stuff before it goes away.
If it wasn’t for this issue, I’d give this game 5 stars.

It’s old, I get it, but every time there’s an update it just makes it less likely to open. Maybe it’ll run once in 30 tries. It’s fun to play when it opens but it never opens so I suggest just don’t bother getting it unless it’s fixed.

Good gameplay when you can actually play it
Downloaded it for the first time played it for an hour then went off my phone when I tried to go back onto it not even an hour later it wasn’t connecting to the server I have to delete the app re log in and then I can play it for an hour or so but keeps coming back with the same message of cannot connect to the server I’ve cleared my cache and restarted my phone but to no avail it’s disappointing because it’s a fun game when you can get onto it

Not very happy..
Whilst playing the game, it was wonderful. Me and my friends were always on it together seeing who had what and I would play the game quite often. I even spent money on in-game purchases. Yet this quickly went down hill. The fact you have to sign in after every update was annoying, and led to my account being lost. No matter how many times I tried the right code with the right email address, the app kept telling me that it was an invalid code. I had my friends try it, and they couldn’t work it out either. I’ve updated the app when necessary, nothing changed. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled many times and yet the problem still occurs. I wouldn't be so unhappy if it weren’t for the fact I have spent actual currency on the game. Now I have to sit frustrated, as I watch my friends progress without me.

Too many bugs never fixed
I’ve been playing this for years and mostly I’ve enjoyed it, but after yet another log out/lost sync after the latest update I’ve reached breaking point. The constant failures to connect to the server and being randomly logged out have turned a fun game into a continual annoyance. It’s a good game but why is there technical issues
I’ve played this game on and off over the years and I have recently downloaded it again and was just getting back into, whilst now experiencing technical issues with the app.
When loading the game it will tell me there’s a connection problem mean while I have both data and wifi which works on every other app but this one. I have closed and opened the app time and time again and yet it still comes up with the same issue.
The next step I took was to delete the app and re-download it and whilst that worked I had to wait for more than 30 mins for the download process as it wouldn’t let me progress through, now experiencing the same issue and have to re-download. Quite frankly I might just leave the app deleted, as this issue clearly hasn’t been resolved and takes away from the gaming experience.

Well made but takes a while
So I downloaded this app a week or so ago and it’s very fun. The writing is clever and the animation and appearance is clean and fun. Options that characters can do are great and you can almost here a character say their lines in the back of your head. The one thing that I don’t like is the waiting, I have another game that eases you into the waiting time. It takes 30 seconds to make an item, then the final item in that part takes a day, but you got used to that since you say “oh this is just for an event and I’ll sell it later, I can make a thing that takes an hour and do something else while I wait.” However this game does this thing where you get loads of money, but half the time it takes a day to get that money and even if it’s 30 seconds the you get a minimum amount for it. So while this is (in my opinion) the second best Simpson’s game, it takes to long.

Broken beyond repair
So I first downloaded it two days ago, on day one it was fine, I made and logged into an account, following the correct verification steps along the way, a few hours later I tried to play, and it said that the server wasn’t accessible (or something along those lines) so I assumed they were down and left it for the rest of the day. Day two I loaded in to the game and it asked me to do a 2000mb download, which I had done the previous day, I downloaded it, albeit reluctantly, and started playing again, later on I tried to log in and had the same server isn’t accessible message, after three tries including turning my iPad of, and checking for updates twice, I gave up. I tried again on day three, which is as of writing this today, to which I saw a lovely little not remotely annoying please download this 2000mb update message. Keep in mind I have played this game several times over the past 6 or so years, yet this is the first time anything like this has happened. I’m going to try deleting and reinstalling. Wish me luck, EA fix your game and while your at it fix Fifa 2022.

Love it but…
I’ve played this game properly for about a year and I’m currently just over level 120! …or at least I was. I couldn’t play for months because my phone didn’t have enough storage to download the update. Couple days ago, I finally did as I was clearing out my apps and pictures. It finally updated and I logged into my account, but it somehow reset back to level 1?! I logged out and back in but it’s still at that level. I know that’s for definite the right email, and I haven’t deleted the app or my account since last playing.
I sent an email to support asking if it’s just a bug or if all my process is gone. If it is, I’m deleting the app. As much as I love the game and the Simpsons, I cannot be bothered restarting all over again. All that time wasted… :(

Un-playable at the minute
I’ve been a TSTO player on and off for years now and I’ve recently started playing everyday as well as spending money on it. BUT, now I am thinking about deleting the game full stop. Every single time I open it to play I have to re download it all over again and then sign back in… it’s getting ridiculous. Sometimes I have a break and just want to check my town and it just turns into me having to re download it and I don’t have time.
I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it again and still doesn’t fix it. I’ve looked up ways to fix it and they tell me to delete other apps that should have nothing to do with TSTO so, why would I delete them? None of my other apps have this problem.
So, until this gets fixed in an update I’m not playing the game and I’m sure I’m not the only one!

Constantly having to download to play
I love this game. I’ve played since the beginning however my patience is wearing thin when every time I want to play, I have been thrown out the game and have to wait for all the downloads to downloads again. It takes ages and it doesn’t matter which platform I use. I run two accounts and it’s the same in both. Please please sort this out. When a storyline is going on and you need to play several times a day, this issue is annoying and I don’t have the time to wait for it to constantly reload. Otherwise I’ll have to stop playing.

Is a good game but needs improvement
I have fun playing this game but there are features I hope the developers can add. First off I hate that when there’s an update it doesn’t just update the app and that’s it, there’s always an additional download, why can’t this be done through the App Store? This download can’t be done in the background either so you have to wait until It’s finished on the loading screen, renders your device useless. Why is this? Gameplay is fun and progression is at a good pace, I’d say the land expansions are a little to pricey and become a bottle neck. I’d really like them to add a feature where you can select all characters and send them on a job length of your choice. It gets really boring and old quite fast tapping from character to character, scrolling through and choosing their 12 or 24 hour job, I want to be able to do all of them in one fell swoop. The search icon makes it easy to switch from character to character but when there’s so many it takes forever and I have a life I want to live and not just click through virtual Simpsons characters all day. Please consider adding this feature and fixing the additional download for updates or at least let it update in the background, then I’d give it 5 stars.

Ea customer services
Level 402 here so played the game for a few years … great game , yes it logs you out sometimes and can have glitches but it is fun to play . The problem I have is Ea customer services, I bought doughnuts and was suppose to get tokens x 10 with my purchase . I didn’t receive the tokens so tried to contact Ea , that is a job in itself . You really want to hope you never have a problem …. 10 days later countless emails and countless advisers (proof of this proof of that )no further forward and the event is about to finish . Shame but will not be buying from Ea again … I’ve gone back to iTunes to hopefully get a refund

Updates and won’t load
I’ve played this game on and off for years and I got back into again a few months ago and it was all going well and the game was going good but recently it’s been updating every time I open the game which takes 10-15 minutes per update which all seem to be the same memory which is confusing and annoying. It’s now saying I don’t have enough storage on my device which I know is totally wrong as I have over half my storage free.
After reading other reviews I can see it’s not just me that’s having these problems and that they actually go years back so surprised it hasn’t been fixed yet or that an app wide update hasn’t been rolled yet to fix the bug.
Please fix this soon and the star review will be back up to 4 or 5 as the game itself when in use is good

Fix this broken game!
Used to play this a while back but gave up because every time it has an update the game breaks. The updates don’t stick and it constantly logs you out. Everyone you want to play you have to reinstall the updates again and again and again…..
Came back to the game a few months back after a years break and it’s still the same. I’ve had to install the latest update about 10 times now, usually once a day and it takes 15 minutes or so each time. I have plenty of memory on my phone so that’s not the issue. It’s just not worth it anymore as it’s highly frustrating when you just want to log in and collect income etc….
Shame as I enjoy the game, but until this is sorted I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and I can’t see it being fixed as it’s been like this for years…..!

Fun but old events were better
Now don’t get me wrong I love this game I played it so much when I was younger and there is so much to do even for a person who doesn’t spend money on it as there are still so many ways to gather donuts (in game currency) but that’s not the issue the main issue is with the events they have cool rewards and prizes but they lack flavour old events would totally change the game for a month and the prizes you earned would help you through the event such as the superhero 2 event which added an interesting combat system and heroes you earned or collected could help you throughout the event and there were also other things such as crafting which was a good way to add lots of new items so they wouldn’t litter the prize track but overall the game is still good and I definitely recommend it

Unplayable — D’oh!
Frustratingly, I can’t even comment on the actual gameplay as the app just repeatedly crashes and closes after pressing the ‘tap to play anonymously’ button on the app’s opening screen.
This occurs with every successive attempt to open the game within a few seconds of a rotating donut appearing in the bottom right corner of the screen to indicate loading, even after numerous force quits and restarts of the app. I allowed the app to download content of some sort that amounts to 1.8GB after being prompted to do so every time I’ve opened the game in the hope that the lack of whatever data this was what has been causing the infinite crashes, however, even after completion of that download, there’s sadly no difference. This was quite a disappointment since the download was rather sluggish and took an age to finish transferring from presumably EA’s servers, despite having a very speedy download speed at my end.
Judging by past reviews, it seems I’m not alone in crashing preventing the game from being started, although I’m puzzled by some of the most recent reviews indicating that there is no problem. Please fix this and upgrade your update servers’ bandwidth while you’re at it.

However, I have also spent lots of money on this game and it is wayyy too freemium and money-hungry, and events are constant so you’re bound to miss stuff without going on daily and spending money on premium currency. Although I’ve put up with this for years - my biggest gripe actually comes from lack of update for new phones. I’ve had the iPhone 12 Pro Max for over a year now and the notch still covers the playable screen so you can’t properly see the tasks in this game. They fixed it previously on the X, I don’t know why it isn’t fixed for the even newer phones. Pleeease fix this EA so the notch doesn’t cover the left side anymore.

Doesn’t load after hours.
I am a huge fan of the Simpson’s on the telly and when I saw this app I had to download it. Me and my brother and his and my mates have been playing it on or off for about 5 years.
I was appalled to see that 2 weeks ago I could not access my account at all. I though it would work after deleting and then reinstalling. Still was faced with installing updates 4/6, 5/6, 6/6. Then an infinite loading screen. The longest the app has taken to load on any device of mine I’m the past was 15 minutes. The most recent it was 2 hours and still no access to my own Springfield.

Good game, I guess
The game is good, mainly if your a mega simpsons fan like me, if that describes you then this game is perfect for you, and you’ll be able to ignore the horrible amount of time it tries to get you to buy donuts (the games secondary currency) which are at extremely high prices. I can really explain this game any other way exempt for expensive, long and only good if you love the simpsons and enjoy waiting. Another thing is that it has main characters like barney, manjula, dr nick, Hans mole man, proffeser frink, duff man and many , many more at high donut prices, 250 donuts for Barney gumble , a main character. It’s either save up for 250 donuts which will take months at a time, or give in loads of money to the corporate pigs at EA .

The game is addictive I will give it that, it’s fun to play and build your world with iconic buildings and characters however there are so many faults with this app. First of all, I think the most important one is how misleading it is, if I have any suggestions when playing this it’s to NOT BUY DOUGHNUTS!!! They mislead you, you do not get what you pay for with the “deals” they advertise and I’ve contacted them and it was never resolved. Secondly, the game always logs you out and will not let you log in unless you change your password which I think is a massive breach in data let alone annoying. The game always takes so long to load up and always times out especially when your ‘visiting friends’. Overall I’d say the game is very poor I could name 10 bad points for every good point, I would avoid playing this as it is really a waste of time unless you want to invest years of your life into it or be scammed.

Very fun but has some issues
I have been playing tapped out for years and it is one of my favourite games on iOS. I have such good memories of playing this game when I younger and to this day I still play this game regularly and have fun. I love building and customising my Springfield and the storyline was pretty good. There is also lots of replay ability after the storyline is finished as there are hundreds of character and buildings to collect and place. However, there are some problems. For one thing I get logged out of my account multiple times a week and it refuses to log me back in even though I’m 100% certain that my details are correct. The other main thing for me is the events. As a long time player, I remember the old events and they were so much more fun than the events today. The events get very repetitive as you send the same characters on 4hrs quests. I wish EA would go back to the old events but I understand the team might not be as big and has less budget for the game. Overall, the game is part of my childhood and I love it to pieces but there are some issues that spoil the experience.

Fun Game but it’s a shame it’s EA
I despise EA. I like the Simpsons. I thought I’d give EA another chance so downloaded it. The game is very fun, and I would give it 5 stars, except the problem is that I wanted to purchase Frink’s Special Offer, in which I get currency. I paid for it, the money was taken from my account with no content received. A little disappointed, I attempt to contact EA Help. Again. Useless. I have been on email with several of their members at EA Help, and I constantly get passed around by different people, while my case starts again. I get bored of the emails as they are taking too long. So I call EA Help in an attempt to either refund the money or receive the content. All is looking positive, until they hang up on me not once, but twice. Then this disgraceful money-grabbing company charges me MORE MONEY for the call. So I lose even more money because they are useless and don’t care about their customers.

I enjoyed the game when I played it back in 2017 I had 2 save files one on my iPad and one on a family members tablet, I stopped playing those saves after I got bored of them, I came back in 2018 on my iPad and all went well I got to around level 17 or something but then I got a new iPad and me being dumb still did sign into the EA account so my progress was again reset so after a while I stopped because this was the time where the event items filled all 5he space you had, I came back around a day ago cus I’m replying old games I used to play and I got to level 7 very quickly and then I left the game earlier today and came back to collect a mission, and GUESS WHAT my game had for one deleted the download you have to do when starting which took me and my slow wifi 3 hours to download and it had reset my game, I tried to sig in to my EA account cus I saved it this time and it crashes my game when I try and to pour salt into the wound it deleted the 3 hour download again, EA FIX YOUR GAME SOMETHING IS WRONG, if you look to my right you will see another comment on the game and if it is not one that has been written by EA staff it should say some like my save has gone or there’s a problem with crashing

New update..big problems
When it works it can be enjoyable with the occasional problem syncing with the server. Not anymore, now it dropping connection 3 - 4 times every session, at random times.
Each time it drops you have to log back in and do your reloads again, but even then you may not get your game back as some of the quests which you have already completed are not. Characters you haven’t won\bought are now in the game and to cap it all, and by far the most important is your doughnut level has changed (remember doughnuts=cash), I lost over 50% on the last hiccup, your ‘friends’ are missing, but if you go past a certainly level they become less important.
So come on take care of your users and fix these problems, we can’t get to you via the links as there are to many redirects so I hope you do take note of these posts(but somehow I doubt it).

Greatest game
Been playing Simpsons tapped out for many years now seen it through many changes and I’ve completed one account with all the characters and all the spaces unlocked locked including the paid with donut currency, so I started a new account and restarted from the start.
Would recommend this game for fans of the Simpsons and building city games alike there’s a few changes I would like to see one day which would make life easy while playing the game like with character job speed ups etc you would only notice the head ace when you have over 400 characters. Also the something when wrong screen which is so annoying and frustrating when playing the game.

Almost perfect, and here’s why!
I love playing Tapped Out, genuinely. The gameplay is entertaining, I love that we can design our own neighbourhoods and have all these nostalgic characters and buildings. The time it takes to get tasks done is also spot on! However, I hate that I keep losing neighbours! I’m constantly logging back into Facebook on the app to get my friendship points and every day and even my friends on origin sometimes just vanish. It makes the friendship part of the game very slow and just irritating. The other problem is the length of time it takes to naturally get donuts! My daily challenge is more like every other day because it takes so long for new challenges to arrive! I don’t think I’ve had 3 daily challenges since I started the game. The donut aspect is the most frustrating because a lot of really good items or characters require donuts but it takes me weeks to get enough to afford anything. I would say to either reduce the donut prices or perhaps make donuts more accessible. Thank you!

Improvments
I came back after a couple of years and have now been playing for over 2 months, first of thank you for improving the update problem, but some improvements you could do are changing the items that can be achieved in the 6 donut mystery box as I am sure everyone has acquired all the listed premium item. In this box you could include some older premium items like the Simpson devil float or the recycling character or even some premium pieces or characters that are necessary for completing a quest. Also please include Frink in a mystery box as he is one of my favourites from the simpsons; not a improvement but just a plea. I love this game and just wanted to give a tip that thought would improve game play experience.

A great game that is very addictive but has its flaws
I think that this game is amazing. You just can’t stay away from it. Also when you go to bed or go to school or work then you can set your Simpson’s on a long time and then get lots of money after.
I like how you can unlock characters and buildings too as it makes you want to stay on the games to save up enough ‘Simpsons money’ to get it.
I absolutely love this game and me and my brother have a competition to see who can unlock which building before the other one. But I woke up this morning and logged on and it had RESET!!! I was absolutely mortified. I had been going on this a lot since we have been in lockdown for Covid-19 and it just reset so I didn’t have a world again. I am so annoyed!!!!! My world was actually good and my brother just laughed at me!!!
So this game is absolutely amazing however it could reset at any time for no apparent reason and also as you have to wait a long time for tasks to be done it can get boring just waiting for it to finish.

Great Game, but Needs to be fixed

It’s been glitching since yesterday evening, with characters stuck in yesterday’s “Krusty Burger” promotion. It’s now brought in a new quest series, I’ve updated my iPad, and even had a good old-fashioned try at turning it off and turning it back on. It’s still glitching. please, EA, sort it out! It’s still a good game, and it usually trundles along fine, but when it glitches, it glitches hard.

Still a great game, and having Maggie in the game (at last!) is brilliant.
However, the "Where's Maggie" game isn't working properly.
I've found her and tapped on her repeatedly, but it doesn't recognise that she's been tapped and so I lose the round and have to wait 16 hours (a pretty random time frame!) to play again. Any chance of a fix?

The Halloween theme is good this year, but since the last update things aren't working properly, such as the House of Evil task (which doesn't recognise when you're completing the required task). Any chance of a fix?

Land token
I’ve been playing Simpsons tapped out for years and pretty impressed with my Springfield. I’ve got many friends hooked on this game and I have never had any issues nor have I had any complaints, until recently that is, I can no longer buy land to continue building and buying. We now need to earn land tokens and this is virtually impossible as there is no option or way to do so and can only be done by completing a daily mission which rewards you a land token once every couple months. I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem, as it is I’m playing less and less, I hope the developers decide to extend the map capacity to allow for more land purchase or develop a means to earn more land tokens.

it’s okay
i loved playing this game but i was swiping threw the shop and it automatically bought me a 75 donut figure that i didn’t want then i was looking at the yearbook mystery box which is worth 30 donuts and apparently everything in it is worth 30+ and i got a car and helicopter no buildings or anything actually good and i have complained about this and they said there is nothing they can do. The 60 donuts wasted on the boxes could have been spent on much better things as those donuts were worth 5.99 really life pounds. i am very disappointed and definitely will stop me playing this game as much as i do and i will no longer be buying ANYTHING on it to do with real money. I am very dissatisfied with this. i would recommend but just DO NOT buy ANYTHING ON IT if you can tell it’s not worth. This happened with my younger sister as well and she wouldn’t stop crying as she felt our mums money that she had worked hard to earn had been wasted

So many Updates!!!!!
okay so whem i first heard there was a app on the show,the simpsons, i quickly got it, i always check reviews on games i get by the way, but i didnt check. i first waited a week for it to load!!! and when it finished it requested a Update. i got the update and played the game once again. I started doing the quests that i stormed thru and homer starts to say," You will get nuked so bad i wanna kill you," it scared me and i fought the game was haunted. i stopped playing for a good time, i hope it dosng do that again because if a tin lil child plays this and finds there getting threatened i would never recomend to this to my friends and my family.

Good things about the game...
The app is fine and very addictive to play, the funniest bit is when homer nuked the hole of springfield and managed to survive😂😂. Apps jave funny storys to them why this has happened like you had a mansion now it got flooded and you have to fix it up( thats roomsscape btw) Thats cool 😎

Some clear problems
It’s been going on for a while now EA and it’s starting to get really frustrating whenever I open the app. I am constantly bombarded with updates asking for my age and terms and conditions three times every day. It’s difficult to do this constantly as I’m always having to go through photos and apps to see what I can delete just so Simpsons Tapped Out can complete it’s overwhelming update which lasts a really long time. Another thing is, whenever I do manage to complete an update, nothing ever seems to change and sometimes I can’t even access the game after one. I have other family members that have said that they do not share the same problem I have with the game and it’s really clear by the reviews that I am not the only one with this problem. I am not willing to sacrifice anymore precious photos just for the sake of an update that never seems to change the game in the slightest so please do whatever you can to fix this problem. It is a great game and very addicting and it would be a shame to delete it and loose all my progress over something so little. Thank you very much.

Playing for SIX years!
So many mobiles games have a very short shelf-life. I usually get bored within months, but Tapped Out has been entertaining me now since it’s launch back in 2012. Unlike many games, tapped out is the most entertaining freemium game out there, with tons of new content being added through out the year.
It’s like an animated fuzzy felt board where you get to build you very own Springfield. Build roads, trees, buildings and decorations, all whilst the folks of Springfield go about the jobs you assign. All your favourite characters are here, and theres plenty of free donuts thrown in to help you build your town.
All the dialogue is written by the writers on the show and the animations are so much fun. Ok, so content updates have slowed down a little this last year, but there is still plenty of life left in this old dog. If you like building things, this game is for you. If you like tapping things... this game is for you. If you LOVE the Simpsons... THIS GAME IS FOR YOU!
The more time you put in, the more fun you’ll get out, so quit your gawping and get your fingers tapping... The Simpsons Tapped Out is just a few button clicks away. Enjoy!

Love this game!!
I’ve recently downloaded this game and absolutely love it!! Everything about it is great. However one thing that I would like to see become apparent in the game is when you tap on one of your friends - or the ‘other Springfield’ - you get the choice to capture it in the form of a photograph, like you can do with your own town.
Also, most of the stuff you can buy is ridiculously priced; you have to wait and save up for ages so you can buy decent buildings etc. It’s really frustrating when you can’t access the premium and limited things because you simply can’t afford them.
Apart form this, it couldn’t be better! Please reply soon to let me know if you consider this update option 👍

Tedious and repetitive
I must admit to playing this game almost since it first came out, which was many years ago. I play daily but these days just log in 2 or 3 times a day to send everyone on their quests again. The storylines are still good but the quests are tedious. Same old format each time: send the characters off on a 4 hour job collecting whatever it is and get a “prize” building or character when have collected enough. Then onto collecting for the next prize. I never seem to be able to finish these quests before the time limit is up so nearly always miss the final prize. Sometimes these prizes seem unrelated so it is hard to fit into your town.
The main thing that has taken the fun out of the game is the amount of decorations you can “buy” using in game currency. This has significantly reduced over the years so all the decent decorations are bought using doughnuts. You can earn doughnuts with the daily tasks and you get the occasional bonus ones but still need to save these for a long time to have enough to buy anything worthwhile. Or you can pay for doughnuts but you can spend a fortune on these.
I can’t visit my neighbours as the game crashes every time I try which is a shame as I would like to visit those who visit me.
Please EA, make it worthwhile playing this game. Bring back more free decorations so we can make our towns look good. Make the story quests more interesting, change up the format a little. Stop being lazy and doing it the same way each time!

Not enough memory
I was an obsessed tapped out game player, managed to make my world amazing and did all of the trials as quickly as possible.
Think of my horror when I tried to place an item down on my world only to be told " congratulations you're reached the maximum number of items allowed at this time, to carry on store or sell your items "
Doesn't that defeat the whole point of the game so be careful people if you play the game always remember that sooner or later you will be stopped by the crappie servers at ea/tapped out game headquarters.
So started playing one of the best free games around only to be stopped short on level 126, so come on tapped out people sort it out, it would of been full stars with a good review but for the reason stated only 3 stars sorry.

Serious problems
Are the creators of this app actually reading the reviews?! People have been telling you for well over a year about the issues with this game. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE this game. I’ve been playing on and off for a couple of years now, I’m up at level 65 but the ‘Downloading Updates’ issue is getting ridiculous. I play this game maybe twice a day, and I’m only in it for about 10 minutes each time, and yet each time I try and play, I have to sit for over half an hour waiting for updates to download. What is happening with this excellent game? Please fix this issue, as I do still enjoy the game, but it seems I’m not the only one finding the problems annoying!!

Really Good Recommended! Amazing Graphics
It’s actually a really good , amazing graphics and overall a really good game , good if you want to kill some time. But the only thing that I don’t like is the notifications , if you have notifications with sound then out of nowhere at ANY time you will hear Homer speak, for the first time I was really scared but you can easily turn it off no big deal. I also think that the game overall has really good quests although they may take some time , they’re worth it at the end especially on the first few levels. The jokes are also really good😂 and the game itself doesn’t get boring or repetitive which is the problem with Many “ Building and Quest” games . Well Done really enjoy this game!

Brilliant!
I installed Tapped Out in a desperate attempt to find a game worth playing, and I was nowhere near disappointed. The graphics and attention to detail are incredible, and the gameplay matches that. I agree, the installation time could be quicker, and updates do take time, but when you do get into the game, it’s understandable as to why. This Christmas (2018) has been one of the best updates I have played with, and I cannot wait to see what else I’m going to enjoy. I’ve even purchased additional items to make my gameplay even better. If you’re contemplating installation, do it. Do it and then try it, because you’re not going to regret it.

Updates most times when opening the app
I just came back to this game after years of not playing, I can’t remember why I stopped but most times when I open the game I am required to install an update that takes 10-15 minutes. I see most people are having this problems by reading previous reviews from awhile back, and I’m surprised that it is still not fixed by now, I know it’s not storage that’s the problem as I have more than enough space. I really love this game and was happy coming back to it but the constant having to update when I just wanna login and complete tasks or collect from buildings is making me wanna stop playing as you have to wait so long to just open the game. Please fix this problem I don’t wanna leave this game again.
Edit: Don’t know what’s going on with the game but it won’t let my play at all as it wants to update and I apparently don’t have enough space when I have hardly any pictures or apps on my phone, plus I looked at my storage and have loads of space, fix this problem or I’ll be leaving this game for the second time.

AMAZING! Just one tiny problem.
OK, I admit, this game IS pretty sick and addictive. But... on this game, when you get Kwik-E-Mart, you usually have these things called Scratch cards. (Itchy and Sratchy show.) And you also get donuts. If you have 4 donuts, (this happened to me,) oh, I forgot, buildings need time to build. So you can skip time by using donuts, Scratch cards give you money by the way, and also Scratch cards need time for to get ready. But, if you DO skip time to get a Scratch card, you have to USE donuts to CANCEL your time skip. CRAZY RIGHT!? But the game is OVER THE LIMIT COOL! Also recommended, the Halloween update 2018! Withe Halloween, you collect FREE LAND TOKENS WITH FIRS! Usually you have to BUY land, not with your free land token ya don't! I love the fact you create your own Springfield.

IS THIS A GAME OR A LOADING SCREEN?
Prepare for continuous updates that require a ridiculous amount of storage space.
Every single time the app is used, the previous update is required to be reinstalled again for some stupid reason... I am forced to download over 800mb’s of data every time I want to play the game. WHAT HAPPENED MATT GROENING!?!?
This issue has been a MAJOR PROBLEM FOR OVER A YEAR, yet the developers do not care at all... So long as they get their pay cheque, customer satisfaction is irrelevant.
It could be an okay game if you could actually play the game, rather than watching load screens all day.

You may wonder what new and exciting content is included within these updates, prepare to be DISSATISFIED. New content includes a long list of EXTREMELY OVER PRICED premium items, why am I forced to fill my mobile device’s storage with characters and buildings I do not own nor want to own. I will admit the developers are gracefully adding a few free to own buildings, however they are ALWAYS of POOR TASTE in comparison.
I was a proud owner of this game for the first several years, however the strain of continuous downloading and the regret of spending real money has proven too much to bare. This game is a joke.
I can understand why anyone would become bored of its repetition... And eventually, grow to hate this time wasting game.

Problem logging into the game
Recently every time I opened the game I had to wait up to 15 mins whilst the game updates. Now I keep getting a message that says an error occurred processing the log in please retry. I have retried to no avail, contacted ea help who told me many other players have also reported this glitch and they are trying to resolve it and check their Twitter account for updates. This has been going on over a week now, nothing on Twitter a message has been placed on ea help to reset password and it should fix the problem, if not contact them. I have changed my password twice now and the game still comes up with the error message. I have tried to contact ea help but as you can’t email anymore you have to wait to see if any advisors are actually on live chat. It’s a long wait! I am bitterly disappointed with ea as I have been playing this game a long time and built a large town, and just unable to get any answers to the problem.

Don’t get the new update!
I, as a loyal fan of ‘The Simpsons’ and other animated cartoon shows, was thrilled to hear about a mobile game that so closely resembles the show, with the real voice actors, call backs to certain episodes, as well as an ongoing original story, where homer, being homer, nukes the town 😂. But when I downloaded this new update, revolving around destroying ‘Krustyland’ and making ‘Itchy and Scratchy land,’ I was devastated to find out that the game makes you nuke Krustyland, and move it all into Springfield! It gives you extra space to do so (equivalent to the amount of space you had in your original ‘Krustyland’) but it makes you place down facades that you cannot get rid of (and because it gives you loads of space, it makes A WHOLE LOT of debris for only Lisa and Homer to clean up. I only had a 5X4 area, and that still took me 10 minutes to clean up). What I’m saying is, download the update because otherwise you can’t play the game, but don’t nuke Krustyland! It will tell you to as a quest objective, but don’t do it! You can’t continue with your normal Krustyland quests, but hopefully if enough people are unhappy with this update, the game will be put back to normal.

Every time I want to go on to tapped out it makes me do the update again every time I go on. This is very annoying as I am on this game the majority of the time I am on my phone. This also makes me have to log in to my EA account all again and is just generally annoying. This is an amazing game and I have a great spring field going and wouldn’t want to quit this game just because of this update thing every time I go on the game. I would like to see this being fixed. It would be very much appreciated and reading some other reviews I see this is an issue to some other people as well. Simpsons Tapped out
I really like the game and the battle theme, it really suits it but I think you should get more time to get the rewards as I played almost everyday of the week trying to get awards 3 and 4 (training grounds and general Bart) but I got forced to move to the junk base. Also I think you don’t get enough donuts as I have to buy general Bart for 80 donuts. I can only afford a mystery box (6 donuts) and that takes me almost a week. Lastly, I loved the quest “end of the beginning”,I found it really fun. I loved that there was tension building up when Homer realized that he didn’t blow up the town and it they started to find out who it was. Please can you add more quests like that.

Updates are driving me mad!
Been playing this for 6 months or so and don’t really want to pack it in, but the last few weeks have driven me to distraction. At least once a day, sometimes twice, it insists on downloading an update (around 1.5gb every time!). You can’t close the app while this is happening, so your phone is out of action for 15 minutes. It also tries to download the update during the day, so when you try to play, it tells you you can’t because it needs a WiFi connection to download. Not a lot of use if you are out and about. So I have lost several days of play where my characters jobs are finished but I can’t cash in and send them on new ones because I’m not on WiFi. I understand you want to update the game, but surely there is a better way. Maybe tell me it needs an update and give me the option to carry on without it like every other app does.

There are some problems
This game is great; you get to experience the life of the Simpsons, complete fun (sometimes tedious) tasks and rebuild the beloved town of Springfield. However some problems make the game that little bit less enjoyable. First off, when you open the game, it logs you out of your account and you have to wait for 1029 updates to download, which usually takes about 10-15 minutes +- , which you have to g through every time just to get into the game itself. This is far too much time to wait given that I only spend around 10-15 minutes actually playing the game, since all there really is to do is complete the tasks given which sometimes take hours, or even days. Secondly, they over price the items. The creators have made it so that the tasks take ages, and you want to immediately complete them. In order to do this you must pay donuts, which cost money or the games money. Also, some tasks, like “plant 5 trees” are not able to be completed, as some of the trees cost $1000+, which is vey overpriced.

Issues
To start off, I absolutely love this game, I played it before but then had to stop playing for a long while, hence why I uninstalled it. But I recently installed it again, I’ve reached level 9 because I started it all over again due to personal preference, but have been getting a ridiculous amount of updates every time I go back on the game, including filling in my information all over again. My WiFi is honestly not at its best right now, so I have to wait near enough 20 minutes or more for it to update every single time, which is a waste of my time. I don’t have all day to play this game, so when I go on it I expect it to be nice and quick, which is not the case.
Please fix this, otherwise I will have to stop playing it again, which would be a shame.

But recently, there has been a wave of updates every one or two days that take an age to download even in fast bb areas, every time prompting to reinsert your email address and password, then saying you can play the game while the update downloads in the background - except that you can’t because when you click it, you just have to wait for the update to download!
Also it doesn’t download in the background if you come out of here app and do something else so you have to keep the app open while it downloads so you can’t do anything else. Stupid!!
I appreciate that downloads need to happen every now and then but this is ridiculous. I’m very close to packing it in if this is gonna continue. Shame because it’s a great game otherwise.

Problems
I have been playing this game on and off for about 2 years now (I am on lvl 22 and have a good town going) and I just recently downloaded it again and I have an EA account, which I logged into, bearing in mind this game has been downloaded on my iphone for about a week now. I have started to notice that every new day, I will come onto the game and it will log me out my EA account and I have to log back in and wait for it to do all the updates and stuff before it actually lets me play the game. Because there isn’t an awful lot to do on the game apart from tasks you get assigned, im only on it for about 5-10 minutes per time I open the game. I open the game about 2-3 times a day. So if you think about it, it’s a ridiculous amount of time wasted wasting for it to all update and actually log me on. Please fix this because I love the game it’s just this one issues. Ps: it has logged me out again this morning so this is why I have wrote this review 😄.

DONUT PURCHASE DONUTS
So I’ve been saving my donuts ( which as the players know are hard to come by. Picking up trash every once in what seems like 500 you pick up you get a donut. And with maggots playdough game. The app crashed on me and bugged out whilst I was looking at the Halloween special donut purchases. Which magically spent all my donuts on a rubbish building not even with a character. Must be the magical season?
Very annoyed as I paid to get more donuts and wow once again it bugged out and bought the itchy or scratchy costume in krustyland. Very upset, other than that I love the game the graphics are amazing.
Could do with having more shorter tasks to do as I’m an avid player and hate waiting around. As well as the expansions start becoming wayyyyyyyy over priced.
I have also tried to get in contact with the game and EA, about being able to fix the bugs and give me my donuts back ! But no. No response. Very disappointed ! But I love the game. Maybe characters and building shouldn’t be so many donuts. And more coloured houses need to be made! Hey I’m a graphic designer I could help!
