Good but limited
I find this app is great to practice singing but I feel there should be a way to ‘earn songs’ like join 10 people earn a solo song because this app forces you to join other people because you have to pay a VIP in order to solo sing. Which I think is a bit violating considering not everyone wants to sing with someone. That’s pretty much the catch with this app and that’s why I put 3 stars.
Gifts feel pointless because they don’t really do anything. It’s just another way of liking but instead you’re paying to like something. Bare in mind the person receiving the gift (although thankful) doesn’t really feel like they gain anything either and it’s just a “oh nice, a gift” don’t think their life is really changed by it and I don’t think someone is going to be like “WOW this gift must mean I can SING” the feeling is not true what so ever and knowing this adds no value to receiving a gift or sending one. It just tells me you don’t care about your money spending.

I was so exited to get the app and start singing until I found out that you have to pay £10 a week which is literally a rip off and at least there is a 7 day free trial. I think more people would use the app if it wasn’t for the cost. I haven’t been able to sing yet because I have to pay. But don’t get me wrong I really like how you can follow people and you can sing with people all around the world. It’s very much like tick-tock with the favourites and own music. I would probably really enjoy the app and use it a LOT because I personally sing all the time and I have been looking for a voice editor but I don’t think there should be such cost. So a while back I got this app and I really liked the app cause u could sing some songs for free which u did but now the app has changed and u have to pay to be able to sing and there are only like 2 songs u can sing that are for free and I honestly think it’s a waist of money. I was just looking for a great Karaoke app that was FOR FREE. But there is no point in paying just search Karaoke and whatever song u want on YouTube. I was very disappointed if this app as I used to love the app before and I used it a lot but now I’m just gonna use YouTube.

Stop selling coins and focus on the core features of your app
After recording my audio - when I start recording the video (so that I can make a VOC invite) - if you restart the video recording more than 3 times then the app just freezes and then it crashes and the whole recording is lost - even the audio part that you had recorded earlier. Lost 2 recordings on 2 separate iOS devices because the morons who developed this feature didnt think that someone may hit restart more than 3 times. Stop selling us the worthless coins and fix your app - fix the video recording bug - stop wasting our time and bring back saving feature in sing live. Whats the point of singing in sing live if you cant save it. I dont even think that anyone in the development team actually sings else they would have known how important it is for an artist to save their performances - even if that song was sung in sing live

SO UNFAIR! What a shame!
I had been using the SMULE app for over three years and have recorded over 1500 awesome songs (most of them are duets with other singers!) I’ve been learning the chords to most songs and then playing my guitar on the recording (for free might I add!) Also drums and all sorts of percussion instruments! 🎸 🥁 🎹 I have got a huge amount of musical talents and I have been sharing my skills with everyone on SMULE for 3.5 years now , completely free of charge and putting in my time and energy into it ! As well as some of my best musical performances! Then after nearly 4 years of giving you my talents free of charge, you suddenly decide to charge me a stupid amount of money to give you my talents for free! ?!?! I think it’s dang right disgusting that you have done this! I refuse to pay for it (even though I cancelled my subscription, I was still charged £10 for one week! When I had no money in my account which has left my account overdrawn! I’m completely disgusted with the applications creators cashing in on my talents after nearly 4 years of my awesome efforts! Now I don’t even want to go on it anymore! I am heart broken!

A Suggestion!
I love this app. I get to sing which I don’t get to do very often however, I would like to suggest something that Smule doesn’t have to complete but might help those people who aren’t able to sync with the others they are duetting with. The suggestion is that after you have done the song, as you get the option to move your singing to sync with the other singer, but if it is possible, maybe you could add in that you can pick certain parts to sync with if you move the full song but there are still parts out of sync of you understand what I am putting down. Thank you! 😌

Smule fixes.
I love Smule but do have a few dislikes, to find out if a join has been sang or not, no indication on the page of invites to say it’s been done and forwarded need a quick option on singer and join done. The rating system seems badly calculated as some songs pile on the likes loves and have 1 love/ like with sometimes 3 to 5 people as well probably from same singing group, adding on, but don’t appear to be added on calculations are very rarely correct on nom of likes. Lots of people get shows of songs but rarely if no video they don’t get shown. Smule has been my saviour due to loosing son tradgically and I find it therapeutic to sing, thank you for your singing app.

Latest layout update is plain AWFUL!!!

The new app layout is terrible from the user perspective.
1. What used to be a very simple to navigate screen now takes several clicks to get to, e.g. to access my 100 song list I have to make more clicks
2. The menus are not intuitive at all. I have to click on “About”, then “View all” under the “Bookmarks” and then one extra click to “100 songs”
To add insult to an injury, the thumbnails are so huge that it takes forever to scroll to get to the right song.
The thumbnails might be good for some users who can maybe memorise them and associate each song with the thumbnail, but seriously have you seen the thumbnails? They are user generated and not consistent at all, so it is just a colourful mess!!!
As a result, I’m finding myself using more and more a competitor’s app which also allows for key change of the songs as an added benefit and am questioning whether I should renew my Smule subscription!!!
Last time I sent this feedback, I got a “no, we are not doing anything” for an answer. I hope you have a way of combining the user feedback and channeling it to your product managers. I can’t imagine many users send you the feedback, so hopefully my lengthy complaint will indicate how real my frustration is!

So many glitches
I heard about smule and wanted to download it and try it. I had the app before so once i entered my email it said log in but i had forgotten my password so i reset it and made a new one. It was all fine until i went into the app and every second came a notification about not being connected to wifi and even though i was connected it still didnt work:i reset the app and then it still didnt work. I deleted and reinstalled smule and once i had to enter my password it said it was wrong and didnt work so i reset it to a different password and it still didnt work sadly🥲 Hope it gets fixed soon and i will try later again.

Great app but pricey!
I have been using this app for many years, since I was a teenager - I would love to give it 5 stars but unfortunately it has just become ridiculously pricey to be a VIP. I used to pay around £12 ANNUALLY but for the last year or so it now charges £10 WEEKLY! - What happened Smule?!?!
I understand there are costs involved to run the app but I just can’t justify paying that much and it’s actually discouraged me from using the app all together as often as I used to! 😔
I really hope they can rethink the subscription fees!

SMULE MY COMPANION
I am basically going through the most challenging time of my life and at 65 years old I do not know where I will be today without Smule providing me a platform to sing my sorrows away and redirect my mind to a beautiful make believe world with good quality songs but also surprising myself of been able to learn and improve.
I go back to my early childhood years with song from my past, I even sung with Kylie yes in a make believe world but what a pleasure and honour. Thank you Smule

What Have You Done To Smule?
I’ve been using Smule for about a year and absolutely loved it, tried to get in tonight and it’s had an ‘update’ where so called ‘improvements’ have been made... I cannot get my pre recorded songs to play, the activity is showing in foreign languages and not people I follow or at least in English, it’s not loading up properly...terrible. Unless it’s improved and pretty quick, I won’t be paying for any future membership. #disappointed

It is annoying to know that even if we delete the song we joined, it will not be deleted from the other side. The other person still got it which is not fair. It would be helpful if we delete the songs then it should completely delete from both sides. Also if we block a person then all messages and all duets should be deleted. You can prompt it for users to decide.. this will avoid some bad joiners who join just to make fun abs harass others ..

Bad Update!
I’ve been using this app for years. I don’t bother with VIP because I hear everyone’s complaints about it and it just isn’t worth the cost. But this new update is the worst! Went on as usual to have a casual sing along to my favourite songs but I noticed the effect was weird. I tap to change it but then I see the effects are gone! It’s just volume now!
WHY WOULD YOU REMOVE EFFECTS?! I can’t fathom why?? It was a freedom to choose the right sound for the song but that’s gone now. It chooses for you. It’s completely ruined my experience and put me off using the app as much.
The player has also changed and is a pain to use! It takes forever to get to playing the song. Before, the globe visual was nice and the player was simple but now it makes you sit there and wait for it to show you “this is the song, here are the people,....... now we’ll play the song”. I honestly prefer that horrid loading circle over this slow tripe!

Use to be amazing
I have been on smule for around 5 years it use to be amazing I don’t mind paying for VIP but the last few updates have really put me off. All the filters have changed and they really aren’t good. I liked the basic simple ones that just made your voice a little louder. Now you have things like winter, magic, and Aladdin at the moment they are useful to no one. The back ground noise using them is horrible and when you listen back to your song it sounds like your singing in a cave. Please smule sort it out people don’t want these new filters we liked the old ones they were simple easy to understand and Easy to use. Sort it out people pay good money you could at least give them the option to use the old filters or the new instead of just taking the old ones away. At the point in time I don’t recommend Smule Sing unfortunately 😢

This app just keeps getting worse
I remember a couple years ago, this app was amazing and I loved it. But for a while now, every update has been sending it into a worse state. I remember when you didn’t have to be a VIP to post an invite, now if you aren’t willing to pay, you have to hope someone who is posts the songs you like. The autoplay button on iOS seems to have disappeared and now the song you’re listening to loops instead of going to the next song. You also can no longer switch between the song thumbnail and the map whilst viewing a song anymore. On top of this, they have replaced audio effects with a studio function that completely ruins group songs. This app seems to be removing its best features one by one and replacing anything good with something worse behind a pay wall. The worst part about this is whenever an update happens, you get notified on the app, but the notification never actually explains what happens, just that there have been “Minor improvements.”
My only compliments are it still allows you to do freestyle songs, as well as upload your own without VIP, and the actual recording features still do their job well.
Overall, the only way this app can get any better is if the developers actually stop and think about the features.

Ruined
I LOVED Smule, Until the new update, I understand you trying to “normalise voices” but you also have to understand it’s pretty annoying trying to sing a song and randomly getting “Magic” (A voice affect that doesn’t work well with my voice) and even sometimes getting “None” which just makes it sound awkward, the filters made it so people could pick which ones made them feel happy singing (mine was “Studio”) but now without that choice you most likely going to lose stars and people loved having that option, in Conclusion I think you should add back filters and let those who want to sing without them do, this review is coming from someone who gets annoyed hearing “pop star” but I’d rather hear that and see people happy then this new update, I’ve got serious temptation to get a different karaoke app now. Love this app until recently
This app is great for singing with people or just recording yourself. However after the latest update I really don’t like it anymore. It’s annoying how you can’t change the voice affect once you’ve started recording. This needs to be put back on. You don’t know how the reverb is going to sounds until you start singing and not being able to change this makes it so much harder. Can this be put right? I love this app but I’ll be cancelling my VIP subscription if this doesn’t change.

What on earth have you done?!
I have been on Smule for the last 5 years and when I first join I absolutely loved it! I’ve been happy to pay for the use of VIP but man you’ve really dropped the ball on this last update. I was highly disappointed when you changed the Live Jam feature.. took so much fun away from it but now.. wow. Smule isn’t just a karaoke app for some but a means to express themselves and let their creativity flow! From originals to the best covers I’ve ever heard.. I cannot believe you have ruined this app for so many people. Why do I pay for VIP use when non vip can get the same settings for free? Sort it out Smule.. we want a log out option for crying out loud! Listen to your users!! I’m just so disappointed and can honestly say if this update isn’t removed then I shall not be renewing my subscription.

:(( so much potential BUT..£££ money grabbing
I downloaded smule excited to have some fun and share my talent..that was until I realised there’s virtually no way to have fun on this app without paying through the nose for it. I’m sure it’s great for VIPs but for free users (who are usually ppl like me who can’t afford such high subscription prices), the features and possibilities are so incredibly limited there’s really no point even using it. It also leaves us feeling left out of the incredible community that you’ve created, and it just doesn’t really seem fair. Smule has the potential to be one of the most fun, creative and innovative out there, but there’s some major changes that need to be made before it can get there. Two of which are:
1. Add more features for free users.
2. Lower the subscription price for VIP.
I’m sure just like me, you guys want this app to be more inclusive too. I hope you take my points into consideration. 🙂

The new updates are not good
I been using this App for 4 years as a VIP all these years BUT There is issues with new updates :
(1)
I wish I could use the old versions, because before I could go on ( song info ) read the lyrics and listening to the song in same time , now when u click ( song info ) the song will stop playing straightaway. Thats really annoying ( meaning you can never listen and see the lyrics in same time ) which is a very weak point as it was not like that before .
(2)
sometimes u like to change the photo on the song , whats the point changing it if its not showing when u play the song ?? Because thats what happens ( there is no photo and on one corner showing the original photo that the uploader used .
(3)
While u playing and listening to a song if accidentally you scroll down the screen it will automatically play the second song and when u go back to the song you were playing starts from beginning again . Absolutely annoying.
To Smule Team : please sort these issues out because the issues I mentioned are really disappointing and annoying for users , we expect updates to be better than previous versions, not new bad issues. I hope you can change these things to as it was before , I really appreciate your hard work and making smule safer for users.

Hey guys, if you haven’t already downloaded this app I would say do it now. I’ve been on Smule for over 4 years now and it’s an amazing app. I love singing with my friend around the globe and growing myself and my voice, it’s great for practice and helps get your voice to where you would like it to, sadly just lately Smule have lost the rights to many songs so losing songs with no warning is going to be aFrustration that you will no doubt share with many here that have lost songs that you have worked hard to produce. One thing I would love to see is changes to the effects, after 4 years of the same thing I think Smule should upgrade. All in all a great app so enjoy your music and meeting new friend from around the world. Thankyou Smule great job 🙏

It’s great! You can sing songs with friends! Maybe VIP is a bit expensive but eh! I don’t mind as I only use this app for listening to the music! Ik it sounds silly but I only use this to listen not sing. It is great that you can listen to songs even when off the app! But I’m gunna get honest. I have GREAT WiFi and it works smoothly!!! Why the actual hell is it telling me that my internet is down?! Fix this. This issue I have seen many people complain about but either your too busy, you CANT or your too lazy. Fix it. Tbh I might stick with Apple Music instead. I would rather pay than have fake internet downs. Sorry for the rudeness I’m just angry this hasn’t been fixed yet :(

Great app
What needed to be mentioned has already been done in other reviews except one thing; the accuracy of the genres songs are listed in. I’m into rock music and I got a good laugh when I searched for the rock category to find Disney and Billie Eilish songs. Even in other non-pop categories you’ll find them filled with pop songs. This makes it difficult to find songs since it keeps recommending you genres that you aren’t singing

Love this Ap but be aware scammers using the messenger option
A few years ago I fell it massively with Smule after a billing issue and someone in customer services who clearly went to the Donald Trump school of customer service! However it has changed so much with a massive friendly community and great songs. It’s worth every penny to be honest. My only gripe as with all social media platforms there are a small number of people who contact you through the chat option .. ‘ hi you have a beautiful smile gorgeous lady ‘ ! Now I’m all for compliments but if you click on their terribly (well out of my league !). handsome profile picture they follow lots of people but have no recordings!! I’m pretty savvy to it and just delete the messages but I do worry for people who may end up being scammed. There are two things Smule could do..
1: introduce a report button so these profiles can be investigated and deleted if they are not genuine.
2: introduce a Dating aspect that you can opt into if you are looking for love and music ? That way then those of us just interested in singing and speaking to people without expectation can, and those who are looking for more can do so with the safeguarding that comes with a dating site. I’m met my long term partner on a dating site so I’m all for them. I do worry about vulnerable women and men being scammed though.

Good, but lost its sparkle!
One of the best apps ever invented, if you like singing karaoke with complete strangers! It lost a star for a couple of reasons... new ‘gifting’ feature is just gimmicky nonsense, the community spirit which used to be strong has disappeared and most annoyingly, the same influencers are promoted constantly rather than giving other individuals a fair chance of promotion. They need more manual curation of content. If you’re a singer-songwriter, it’s not going to make you a star as, I’ve learned, that karaoke singers are seldom interested in listening to new music! So stick with so thing like Soundcloud if you have new songs to promote!

Hello, I have been using this app for maybe 2 or 3 years? I love this app! I have been singing for a while then Smule came along to me and I pushed myself through songs! It was like heaven! But when your not dead.. Whoever reads this! Install it like a Chita and give it a full rating now! Love this game lol. Anyways.. Moving on with how it’s going! It’s like going.. I can not say enough good things about smule.
First of all, the people you interact with and meet all over the world just opens doors to relationships of all types. You name it it can happen!!!
Next is the fact that you get to sing with many professional singers on their own cult songs. Ed Sheeran, Jessy J and many more.
Then you will bump into many of the celebrity singing shows contestants who also sound great to sing with and interact with about their experiences especially great to do in the LIVE JAM rooms where we can sing and chat in a Skype like experience.
If you want to just sing then this is primarily what this app is about. You would be hard pushed to find a song this app doesn’t have for you to try and sing.
All of the effects and functions within the app are extremely easy to use and updates are constant keeping things to date and fresh.
Finally the best bit about this app for me is the friendships made and the kindness and support that’s hereditary throughout the app from people of all ages.
I only have 1 caution, and it’s since the introduction of ‘LIVE JAM Rooms’ and it that kids tend to come in to the LIVE JAM ROOMS and mess about a lot distracting from the fun, but depending on your own character Is how it will affect you.
Smule is a great part of my life and has opened many doors, it’s extremely well priced for the treats it gives me every time I enter the app.

It's okay i guess....
This is a app that could help you improve your singing if you want to. When I wanted to get better with my singing I found this app and it was amazing, and now my singing has improved alot. Ive made so many friends on this app and learned so many songs that i didn't even know. I dont have VIP on it since i thought joining other people would be better, BUT over time ive noticed that the price of getting VIP got higher and higher. The price started at £20 then it went to £50 and it ridiculously went to £91, the people who made this app is very greedy and desperate for money. If i were someone else i wouldn't buy VIP since its extremely expensive and a waste of money.

I’m fine with vip just
I am fine with vip I don’t have it there is just one problem you need VIP for practically every song the only one I know that is free is Someone you loved so I would like if it was only some songs I don’t like doing duets I like doing solo and if it’s not free and nobody is doing a duet then I can’t sing it you can keep your prices just please let me have more songs I’m only 10 and every Alan Walker song I know of is VIP unless it’s duo and I really wanna sing Tired by Alan Walker but I can’t cuz there is NO duets I have to but in my message thing “any body wanna do a tired by Alan Walker duet with me” and it’s just annoying so please for the sake of every body without VIP change it.

storage
I’ve been on this app for many years and i absolutely love it, it’s helped me find my ambitions in life and i’m thankful for that. one downside though, at this moment in time i’m running into a problem with my storage, and it’s getting to the point where i might need to delete the app although i don’t really want to. this app is currently taking up around 40GB out of my 64 and it’s really frustrating. i can’t do anything on my phone now because it’s taking up so much space. correct me if i’m wrong but i don’t think our recordings save onto your servers and maybe that’s where the problem is starting from? i would really appreciate it if you guys could maybe do something about this :/

Why on earth did u make it so you have to be vip to go live now like you just ruined the app for me I loved going live singing and having a great time but I can’t afford to pay for cup so not all I can do is duet and it’s no way near as good has hosting you own live jam I’m sooooo disappointed and really hope you change this back I get u want to make money off this app but honestly that’s a step to far and I will not be using this app as much as I used to due to this change please respond as it would be much appreciated if you could explain why you did this and if you will change it back and if not why please respond and try to answer some of my questions thanks again

This is the best singing app I have EVER came across in my entire life! Even though lots of bad reviews on this app have the VIP thing, that doesn’t matter because you can have a 7 day free trial then after that you can just join a solo to sing by yourself on any song!! Btw there are some free songs to make solos, duets and groups on so definitely check those out. I also love how you can make livejams to sing with anyone live. This app is amazing and anyone who loves singing by their self or with other people should of course download this. Thanks for making this app! ❤️💕😍👍

Not for singing improvement
I was looking for something to help me improve my singing as I’ve been giving a go at it for a while now and really need to practise singing in key.
I can’t in good conscious give it less than 3 stars because they do give you a free trial and it is a karaoke app, but I found it by searching for apps to help you improve your singing, so I was a little disappointed to discover ‘what a good singer’ I sounded like on this app; it’s like taking your voice and using a snapchat filter to make it sound so much better than it is.
If you want an app to muck about on then crack on, but if you’re looking for something to help you improve, this app will only give you a deluded sense of your own ability.

Awesome App
I have been using this app for 4 years. It is a fantastic app that allows you to sing with others or by yourself. Some of the reviews here are a little unjust.
1: paying- if you want to sing solo you pay a subscription fee. However to join anyone else is totally free.
The vip sub is quite expensive, but if you use it regular and if singing is a hobby, it’s justified. Although I do agree a reduced price and trial would bring more people to the app.
2: I have never struggled to find a song I want to try. But again if I don’t pay a monthly or weekly sub I have to sing with someone.. that is totally fine.
3: people have complained their game is linking to adverts to often... A: it’s not a game. B: I have never seen an add pop up so much it disrupts my time in the app.
I have tried other apps and always come back to Smule.

A very good app - but sky high subscription cost
This app is faultless- it does what it says on the tin. If you enjoy singing but perhaps lack the confidence to do it publicly, this app is for you.
The subscription cost is however ludicrous. I use the app say around less than 10 hours a week when I have free time. There are cheaper streaming services than this and I use those far more often. I believe for the amount of time you use the app it is poor value for money. Unless your an inconsiderate oaf and either don’t care or live in a detached house so your not driving your neighbours insane it means your time is limited.
That doesn’t mean the content lets it down, if anything it’s almost too good. Having artist collaborations must cost a fair amount and I personally couldn’t care less whether I sang with an artist or another member of the public. Smule perhaps make the subscription cost less and make the artist singalong section an optional high price option?
Either way fantastic app- just not great value.

Needs work
It’s a good app but the editing side is very limited. If you want to listen to your recording and then retake areas you’re not happy with it’s impossible. There’s a flag you can use to rewind over an area during the recording period but you can’t hear yourself back then, so it’s useless most of the time. They should really improve on this because it was the only reason I didn’t renew my subscription, I had a number of recordings that were almost right, but could never edit them to fix the areas I wanted to and couldn’t hear those areas until I was playing the recording back, which by then it’s too late.

Needs a lot of work
I love this app, I use it daily and I am a significant member of the community on there, however there are MAJOR issues within the app that need addressing such as removal of parts, individual sections being edited, there is very little control in the user’s hands and that’s frustrating when attempting to create large vocal pieces that are completely ruined by poor balancing or the intrusion of children who cannot sing and tear down the entire thing. The app will be far more enjoyable once these are addressed, as well as not being kicked out of a recording session when a battery warning displays - that is highly irritating.

The best app ever!
Smule is wonderful. I’ve always loved to sing and to be able to sing whenever/wherever I want with this amazing app is a godsend.
I suffer with anxiety and music has always been my solace. This app helps me so much so thank you 😊
I have made some wonderful friends from all around the world which is fabulous as I know they will be friends for life.
The only thing that I think would improve this app immensely is to have a search bar for our own recordings. I have sang over 3,000 songs, whether it be solos or duets and it’s not easy to find a particular one I want to listen to as I have to scroll through so many.
Overall all I rated this app 5 * as it is so wonderful, thanks SMULE!

Be better if
I do love this app. Only think could be alot better than it is. For such a great app i think we should be able to save our recordings to our phones to enable us to download our versions onto disc ect. After all we are paying to use this service. Why cant we enjoy more out of it like have our own cds rather than scanning through 100s of recordings we have done on smule before we reach the one we want?
Also the super pop and studio would be brill if make even better quality.
I mean all this in a positive way. Purely because i think if id want to smule long term time to time a change keeps it exciting. Hoping someone uploads “ wicked game” sang by daisy grey. “

My opinion on this app
In my opinion if it says “free” it should be free not “give me money to sing on this app and be popular” because I’ve read some reviews saying prices have been increasing and you can barely be popular without VIP not forgetting to mention that some people can’t afford to pay money or just don’t want to pay money for something like an app. I would rather use my money for food thanks.
I did download this app earlier but from the choice of songs I was given I didn’t like most of them and the one I liked is too hard to sing due to being fast and in a different and quite difficult language. So maybe you should think of giving people an easier choice of songs for their first song. Or even better, let them choose whatever song they want. But that’s just my opinion.

Wonderful app😍
So far so good! The updates have really improved the quality of the app. My only problem is when we block somebody that person can still see our profile unlike fb and other social media, when somebody is blocked they cant get access to the blocker’s content. Also there is no feature of logging out. It would be more efficient if there will be function in inbox to attach files so we can send attachments to our followers/friends the external file attachments other than that from smule collabs.

Fab app but..
I think it’s unfair that even with the free songs you can only join another paying user, I adore this app and have over 300 songs recorded but can not afford to pay the amount required, free should mean free :)
this means that if there are no current invites then I cannot sing the song at all, free or not.
During video recordings there is no way to rewind back to a checkpoint which is a great feature as if you mess up you can just redo that bit and not the entire song.
If it wasn’t for these things I would give 5 stars without a doubt.

Smule sing....please stop updates that aren’t in out favour
I’ve down graded stars....as since yet another update...the app is no where near as enjoyable....you keep telling us we will love the new changes...but show me somebody that does love them....the music is so loud now..having to turn mic volume up and up and up....it’s harder to see at a glance, who’s joined, who’s loved and who’s commented on songs.....I can no longer use iPad in landscape mode!!!!!! So cannot sing now when iPad is on charge..makes the video harder to see too..basically have to hold iPad now whilst singing where as before could have it sat on a surface....I pay for this app so at least expect customer satisfaction...please listen to your loyal customers...

It's great but...
I've been this app for some time now. I haven't got VIP or anything cuz it costs money but even though it's good and all, there's something I've noticed and I'm not sure if it's just my phone or if this is a glitch in the app itself: I keep getting notifications that people are following me but when i go on my profile, I've still got the same amount of followers. I've even tried checking if it made a difference online but it shows the same thing. I also refreshed the page but it made no difference. Please can you try to fix this or at least look into it though, other than that, the app is awesome and more people should download it!

Improvements 🙃
Honestly, I love the app! I check on it everyday to see notifications and invites I get from people around the world but there a few problems I want to request you add into the game :/.
The first one is the ‘SIGNING OUT’ button. Because of this, I need to keep deleting the app and reinstalling it to check my other accounts and honestly, it’s a long process because I then need to go back on my main account.
The second thing is, why do you need VIP for songs you want to sing? It’s karaoke, why do you need to raise prices of the VIP and have people pay £90 for a year? The least you can do is lower the prices not RAISE them, then you would get money iut of that. ;-;
Another thing is that sometimes, the rewind button is glitched and when I pause my recording to go on a different one then go back on Smule to sing, it creates some weird static noise on my recording and I have to rewind it again. Please fix this.

Amazing
I love this app! I use it all the time & it helps me fall back in love again and again with music. I also love how other people will upload songs as solos so you can sing them yourself. I have had very good feedback on my videos & it has helped me with confidence. I hope this app never changes. The only flaw I would say is uploading your own songs or backing tracks from your music app. It’s a lot of steps for one song to upload, but other than that, this app is smashing. Well done 😌

Add credits again!
I like the quality it has but not when I have to use the microphone on my iPhone instead of the mic on the headset. It annoys me so I am more likely to use the iPod 5th generation. However it is a brilliant app. I hope more people join in and enjoy singing with others. However I prefer the older version of the app because it had credits in, so I was able to achieve credits and possibly get a VIP pass with those credits. Thank you Smule for an amazing application to use.

GREEDY
I love this app and have been using it for 4 years now. I’m really grateful for all the friends I’ve made on here, and I have quite a big following, but I think this is because of my ability as a VIP to open songs for others to join. There is NO way that someone who isn’t VIP can become popular on this app. Secondly, the prices just keep increasing. The developers of this app are so greedy, yearly membership has gone up progressively from £20 to £50 to now £91. You would think with the rising popularity of smule that prices go DOWN from their starting point, not up. It’s ridiculous: this app is BARELY functional without a VIP membership; there is really no other choice. There are also so many bugs that ruin recordings and even over the course of a few months and at least 3 updates, only a few have been fixed. I’d love to give this more stars, but there is so much wrong with this app that honestly it is not deserved.
