Description

"Heroes Rise: The Prodigy" is an interactive novel where you control the main character. In each chapter, your choices determine how the story proceeds.

I've read all three of this trilogy and it's truly brilliant stuff.

Pretty damn good
I'm not going to lie, I don't usually write reviews so I'm going to be brief.
This is a good game, you should buy it. The story is interesting and well written (a theme that carries through all three inserts of the story.) It's just generally fun to play, and if you like this kind of game your doing yourself a disservice by not trying it out.

Epic
A different league from some of his others which were quite short. This one took 3 days for me to work through (not full time ofc). Twists and turns able to shape the character in soooo many ways.
Only improvement would be the addition of stats like speed,strength,agility,cunning etc but I'm not sure if that might spoil it or not.

Great balance and great fun
Interactive stories often struggle with balancing good story and characters with player choice and impact this came does both brilliantly really enjoyed and carrying save files to the next game is great too

Amazing!
Simply incredible!
The extravagant plot seamlessly integrated my decisions and not once did I feel selecting an option led to misleading actions on the part of my character. Well worth the meagre price I paid for it. Now. If you don't mind me I am off to the sequel... :D

Occupies you for ages! And when you're done you can play again while making different choices or find one of their other games which are equally are good! Highly recommended

Sensational Game
This game was well thought out, the story is interesting no matter how you play it. The though put into the history really impressed me, it was a theoretically possible explanation as to how "heroes" came to be. The characters are amazing and fun to talk too. I actually thought this would make a fantastic movie. I'm really hoping for a sequel soon, it's my favourite choice of game so far!!!!!!

Disappointing
It's appropriate that this game ditches the 'choice of' name, as all the choices it presents matter the same. Which is to say not at all.
This wouldn't matter as much if the story were well written, but it's not. You aren't allowed to feel like a superhero, ending every fight knocked down and glad to be alive, even if you pick the 'best' options.
As for interacting with other characters, this is where the story is kept strictly on rails. The only character to get any development is the romance choice, which the game helpfully informs you resembles a celebrity of your choice and you have a huge crush on, even if actually you'd rather pursue one of the others.
On a free game, this would b tolerable, but for one of the paid titles I'd expect a much higher quality of writing. Especially after the likes of Broadsides.

Wow!!!
Simply amazing. Very well written although the story can seem a little too 'fantastical' at times. It's still a very good read and not your typical superhero story.

Best CYOA by a mile!
Was a bit unsure paying £1.99 at first, but now i'm glad I did. My fave Choose Your Own Adventure by far!
Hope you guys do a sequel or even a trilogy! but keep with following your heroes story!!

Must have game
The story of this game will keep you on your feet as it twist and turns into an almost infinite number of story paths each story is unique to your choices and no one story is every the same you will be begging for more that's if you survive that is ;)

Perfect!
Choise of games make the best multiple choise games imaginable, and heroes rise is another perfect example on this! Very well written, making it last for hours. As it is filled with excitement, and so very many choises the game can be replayed over and over again.

Got a couple of these already, this the best to date. Don't usually spend cash unless I know it's worth it and these guys give u something worth ur money. It be awesome to have a sequel! Duno if it's in the making but if not please do so :)

Its awesome, but it has its flaws
As many have said, this story is awesome and well written. However, because the story IS set, there isnt much of a replay value to this game, so you can't play this game twice. In addition, there isnt an undo button or anything which allows you to go back a page, unless you start again, there is no way for you to go back. I hope they add this in.

Amazing game first time through
I used to read adventure books when I was a kid where you could choose at the end of each page an option and then jump to another page. It's like this but on speed.
First time through its awesome but replay value is low as no matter which decisions you make the plot line is fixed so you end up playing the same game from an only slightly different angle. It would have been nice if a proper decision tree was built so each decision branches off in a totally different angle resulting in hundreds of possible games and outcomes but I guess this is too much to ask for.

Brilliant game that leaves you with a lot of EXTREMELY difficult choices and consequences that can be tough to deal with. Excellent replay value would recommend and is a steal at it's price.
