Comprehensive CAS, very good
I had the usual learning curve you get with a new CAS but now I find it fairly easy to use. I have tried many free ones but there is always something missing. That does not yet seem to be the case here.
The assignment operator := can be used to label equations etc as in the maxima PC program, this is very useful.
For a comment... prefix line with // thanks to Daniel for very quickly informing me of this.
It also has every function I will ever need and many more besides.

Best CAS on iOS
I am a maths teacher and this is superb for carrying around with me. Extremely good value for the price. Would prefer if I could choose to open the app on my calculations without having to view the tutorials first and then having to swap over.

Extremely useful and competent mathematics tool
I originally got this expecting a minimal algebra system which I could use on a phone. It is so much more than that: I use it as a calculator, for doing integrals, for making pictures of functions & data & many other things. It syncs with iCloud so you can use it on all your devices, including Macs, and has been consistently supported and developed.
It's just great.

Fabulous app!
This app is truly wonderful. I've tried it with everything from simple arithmetic to matrices and second order differential equations and it solves everything. Its graphical capabilities are excellent too.

I wouldn't be without it.
This is a superb application and covers so many mathematical functions operations and graphical representations. I use it for all my engineering calculations and wouldn't like to be without it. It is extremely good value being well underpriced in my opinion. I have used several maths applications in the past which cost several hundred pounds and this outstrips them all. Despite the comprehensive nature of the product it is relatively easy to use and easily mastered.

An awesome app that is far cleverer at maths than I am. I'm studying maths and physics to A-level standard and it has proved indispensable every step of the way. Calculations, solving equations both numerically and symbolically, producing graphs which I can then export into my notes. Many other functions that I haven't even heard of! Support is quick and helpful.

Versatile and powerful
As an undergraduate physics student who has used this for over a year, I can say that this is a worthwhile download for anyone using maths at A-Level standard or above. It is highly polished and comprehensive. I am particularly impressed by the size of the library of functions - it's far more than you'd perhaps expect from an app. The user interface is clean and informative - it's easy to see the syntax for the function you're using, or indeed to find the function you need. The function names (some have multiple names - a huge positive in my book) and syntax are anyway logical and therefore highly memorable. The colour coding system for brackets means that it's easy to keep track while entering longer inputs. The plotter is clean and displays basic information, like stationary points and points of intersection. I cannot comment on scripting - I have not used it for this purpose. The developers are highly committed to this app; the result is that its functionality and performance are always improving. Responsive on an iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1.2.

Very powerful
Amazingly powerful, regularly updated, great value. I haven't managed to make it go wrong which is unusual. When others fail, this succeeds. I particularly like the way you can save projects. Any shortcomings? In the trade-off between power, ease of use and pretty design, it goes for power. Documentation is clear but couldn't possibly explore every corner of this mathematical cosmos.

Indispensable
There are many maths calculators around, but this one is special in its versatility. The author is quick to acknowledge bugs and quick to correct them. It isn't often necessary for mainstream usage, which for me has always worked very well

A breath of fresh air
I had been trying to learn and experiment with CAS in another app, but its implementation was complex and fragile. I almost gave up.
Then I found this - and it works. Good examples give a taste of what one can do, and I was quickly able to experiment with the calculus equations I'd been studying.
There's room for improvement with the documentation. The downloadable manual doesn't do the app justice. Luckily the developer is extremely quick to respond to questions, which is a big plus. I'd like though to get a better feel for how CAS is implemented here so that the in-app function help would make more sense.
All in all, a wonderful app.

A very impressive and useful app. A must have.
This app is very, very useful. If you have used Mathematica or any other CAS you will feel at home quite quickly. Files can be interchanged with the desktop version, making this a good transportable workhorse. It is very capable, allowing symbolic algebra as well as matrix computations, statistical functions, and an intuitive interface allows easy and appealing graphics. I now turn to PocketCAS more and more for scientific data analysis/fitting. It would be brilliant in a future update to have more control on graphics output (e.g. variable size plotpoints, different symbols and colours, ability to apply labels to axes etc).

Really good
I've used PocketCas for a long time and always been very pleased with it. I've only just realised how good it is at graphing - intuitive user interface, quick and responsive even with costly functions, and the graphs look beautiful. Much better than MathStudio.

Excellent software but not too easy at first.
I'm a math teacher and I bought this app as a cheaper alternative to my stolen ti89.
I'm very impressed by the potential of this software, you can really do a lot and indeed much more than with my former calculator.
However be prepared to the fact that this is not too user friendly and tutorial is minimal.

It's easy to use and is great how it can be used to calculate complex mathematical problems.

Great App
I use this app occasionally in my A Level maths and further maths classes. So far there hasn't been anything it can't do. It draws graphs better than any of my friends graphical calculators, it's easier to use, and it's a lot cheaper than buying a graphical calculator (provided you already have an iPhone). The only downside is you cannot use an iPhone in exams!
Also I'd like to mention the great support offered via email, bugs reported are usually fixed within days.
Great app all round, useful for anyone who would have use for a graphical calculator or similar.
