This is a free app download. Within the app users can purchase the current issue and back issues.
Subscriptions are also available within the application. A subscription will start from the latest regular issue at the time of purchase.

-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.
-Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription to that publication is purchased.
-If a subscription offers a free trial, at the end of the trial period, you will be charged the full price of the subscription. Fantastic publication
A couple of years ago I wanted to find a boxing magazine to really help me get deep into the sport. After giving it a go I was amazed at the quality of BN. There’s a bit of everything in the magazine including current news and events, the inside scoop on whether fights are about to be announced(sometimes weeks ahead) and excellent historical pieces both from the very distant past to the not so long ago. The annual subscription itself is absolutely sensational value for money given the content you receive and the price paid.

Great as a product, poor as an App
I love the magazine and read it religiously, but whenever I read it on the app, my phone heats up very badly and my battery drains rapidly. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app several times but there is no improvement, considering switching back to paper version sadly

The best boxing magazine!
I don't understand the negative reviews, I read some of these and was worried about buying an issue so tried the 30-day trial but I haven't looked back once. I only have great things to say about this magazine, I even subscribed! I'm a massive boxing fan but don't get to go to many fights so want first hand reports and full fight break down. Boxing news is the best part of my week! I'd highly reccomend the digital magazine!!

I've been reading Boxing News since the mid seventies, I have missed the occasional issues, but with this is no longer a problem with this app I can download each issue as it appears. You could also do this by downloading this app, you won't be disappointed.

Great mag and the free app gets you a full sample issue. For a weekly it's packed with news and features offering good value. A lot of it you are not going to find elsewhere first so worth subscribing.
Also check out the latest 2013 Annual and 100 Greatest Boxers special issues. Plenty to keep you busy.

Doesn't work most of the time
Great app when it works.
It fails on me 3/4 times every week trying to either download the latest issue or read it.
Having to enter your iTunes password almost every time you go into the app is irritating.
All in all, very disappointing considering that I pay a subscription.

Crashes on start up on new iPad even Turing iPad on & off doesn't help.

Finally started working this morning I decided to purchase this weeks edition for £2.49 as soon as its downloaded the app just crashed and now every time I click on the icon it's starts loading then just goes back to home screen.

Not a bad app at all. Personally I prefer the paper copy in my hands but this is actually cheaper than the magazine (£2.45 compared to £3.15). The only issue I had was that it kept crashing when loading, the only way I could resolve it was to delete all the magazines and newspapers in my newsstand.
