Over charged - no help

Does The Job

This app just does exactly what it “says on the tin”. Easy to use and often much cheaper and safer than public car parks. Often you can calculate where you park so that you are not sitting in traffic for ages after a match or a concert. The reviews work well too. I always look at the reviews before I park. Used JustPark lots of times and have never had a problem. 👏

Easy top notch App.

Have used JustPark app for a while now and have found it really easy to use, plenty of parking spaces available at the destinations I have needed to park at and at very competitive prices. Annoying app

I found this a real pain to use with its multiple fiddly steps. I needed to register my national trust card to get free parking and the whole registration process, cars, phone number, address etc etc took ages. All to get a parking space I’m entitled to with national trust membership. Puts me off coming to Harting Down which is really sad

Terrible update

Absolutely terrible updated It annoys me. It used to be where’d you’d put the ID location then hit a button and it just took the money out until you stopped out no matter how long. Great. Now they’ve updated it and you’ve to book exactly the hours and even when I do this which is stupid it says there’s no space in the parking…… I’m parked inside a nearly empty parking with the app???????? It says no spaces nearby and I cannot park my car there. Ridiculous

Fails with its basic purpose

All I wanted to do was pay for parking but failed. I entered my reg and selected ApplePay, it should have been simple but no, not with this app. First it refused to process it as it said I had an account which I had no idea the password for. Then after recovering the password and paying I found it replaced the car reg number I had entered with a car I had years ago so now I’ve paid for a car I haven’t had for 5 years (even though I had entered the correct current reg number to start with). JustPark I’d suggest you sack your developers and just use AI to write the app. It will do a better job.

Load of rubbish

Avoid at all cost no customer support!! My vehicle developed an issue the day before parking so i wanted to change registration to my wife’s car but was unable to do it on the app, called the helpline and said a two minute wait was waiting for 28 minutes then it cut off, tried again then they were closed and can’t change 🤷‍♂️

Good with scope to be even better

Good at finding parking for a day. Easy payment. More info about spaces is provided after booking them. App could be better. Text size is small and doesn’t respect accessibility size settings (eg when leaving a space review). Can’t easily book again while parking is in progress. Notifications appear at the end of parking time but clicking on them doesn’t give you a clear message. Could have a standard way to see w3w for each space and navigate there. Could show CAZ / ulez on map and also let me filter listings to show spaces outside ulez for older cars. Dashboard could be clearer: in progress, future, past. Dates could show day of week.

AVOID! USE A COMPETITOR! PLEASE READ

I WAS ISSUED A PARKING FINE FOR JUSTPARK’s MISTAKE AND THEY COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE UNHELPFUL. I IMPLORE YOU TO USE A COMPETITOR INSTEAD OF JUSTPARK, READ BELOW.
JustPark’s access instructions were as follows (word for word):
1. Address: New Bird Street, Liverpool. Use Postcode L1 0DN.
2. Use the picture for reference.
3. Park in any available bay.
I did EXACTLY as stated above.
Weeks later, I received a parking fine in the mail because the car park JustPark showed in their listing was incorrect. Their listing included a photograph of a privately owned car park on the same road that they did not operate. Therefore I was not parked in a car park they operated, despite following their parking instructions to the fullest extent possible.
Upon contacting them and bringing this to their attention, they updated the relevant car park listing - which now features a different photograph and states in the description “PLEASE NOTE: the issues related to the location confusion have been fixed as of 16th December 2025.”
Coincidently, the 16th December is the day I contacted them about having received my parking fine.
Following my initial contact, I immediately provided them with all the details they requested and included the photograph from their original car park listing. Initially they responded to my emails (essentially putting me off with holding emails), more recently they have stopped responding entirely.
Ultimately all evidence indicates they know full well they are in the wrong and that I received a parking fine exclusively because of their mistake, yet they have given no indication that they care in the slightest, nor that they will reimburse/compensate me for their error. Hence I am leaving this review to warn others. I would implore anyone who sees this to use a competitor instead, particularly one that makes use of codes associated with specific car parks (for avoidance of error).

Terrible coding logic

Your dev team need to figure this out. On my home page, my upcoming booking is the third most recent I have booked, not the first most recent, so this can be alarming. So, one must annoyingly navigate to bookings, but even this page defaults to past bookings rather than upcoming. This could all be so much clearer!

What the f is wrong with you disturbing people sending marketing notifications about parking of all things on Boxing Day when people are spending time with their families, then not providing an opt out for marketing notifications so I either have to turn off all notifications which are often useful or be subject to your spam. Whoever scheduled that notification needs to take a long look at their principles.

Can't add payment method

Installed app and tried to add a payment method. I tried 3 different cards (visa, mastercard, amex) and the JustPark app fails every time. It tries to take a £0.00 payment as verification, which I successfully approve in the corresponding banking app. But the JustPark app reports that although the card details are correct, the bank has declined the transaction (which it hasn't). In the end I used a web browser and added one of the same cards by logging into my account at justpark.com. There's clearly a bug in the IOS app. Also, why doesn't the app support Touch or Face ID? Prebooking is also very difficult if you don't know the reference ID of the parking location as navigating and choosing on the map doesn't seem to work very well.

Latest updates to parking

This app worked fine. You clicked start parking and stopped it when you were done. The benefit was you paid for what you wanted.
Now you are forced to choose a duration which ends up costing more. The next person taking your spot also has to pay so it’s a great way of getting two payments for same spot.
I’ve filled my car with coins and will go back to the old way as this is now worse.

Yet again does not work

Yet again I try to park at a JustPark car park and yet again the app doesn’t recognise the code, or the name, or ‘find nearby’. This does not happen with RingGo, Paybyphone, Your Parking Space or any of the others. No excuses. IJustPark is complete rubbish.

Hiding the finish parking is despicable

This app has always had its issues when finishing parking and charged more than the actual parking session but now you’ve gone and hidden the finish session three clicks deep in the menu costing both me and my wife way more money than the sessions should have been. Then to make things worse support are uncontactable and ignore all emails! Sort it out and add some sort of geo fence notification that when you’re clearly driving off via gps then suggest to finish the session as reminder!

Payment changes & usability

There has been recent changes to the way payment is taken. You can no longer pay as you go - only pre-pay defined time sets. This was the most convenient to pay for parking you may as well pay by the parking machines. The revenue gained by this does not equal the inconvenience caused by the changed billing method.

Keeps logging out

App is usually logged out when I come to use it. Recently entered a registration number when booking. App made me login during the payment process and substituted a different registration number I’d previously used. Also preselected SMS alerts that I’d previously unselected. Also not impressed that the app charges a fee - this should be cheaper than maintaining coin machines in car parks. Telephone line says two minute wait for an agent, it’s been over ten so far listening to intensely rubbish hold music.

Recent update has broken it!

I used this app and the wallet feature to park for work, and up until the last 2 weeks it has been brilliant. However the recent update has rendered the app completely unusable on my iphone - once you hit the “select duration” screen the whole page expands, and there are no functional buttons or menus which allow you to progress the transaction or return to a previous page.
It’s almost as if the back end of the mobile app needs to be set to allow scrolling on that particular page and platform, and to not expand the current view. The advice I had from the help desk was to use a different device to pay for my parking, which wasn’t exactly satisfying, and not everyone has the luxury of a spare device to carry around for this purpose…

Useless in real life

The app looks good but useless in real life. First it needs a good internet connection, which you don’t have at many car parks, or you can’t do anything on it. Then if you are the car park and need to know the location number so you can book in, you can search and find the car park by location name but it doesn’t tell you what it’s location number is. So you have to hunt round the car part to find it which in bad weather especially is not good. You can try to find it on the listed nearest car parks but today when I went into the shopping centre to get a signal it gave all the local car parks to choose from except the one I was next to. Then when you finally have the number and a signal it won’t allow you to backdate the parking to when you arrived. And if you choose the earliest time it will allow, it then auto-recalculates the stay from that time not your arrival time, giving the wrong time and amount. Given that the car park I was in today uses ANPR when you arrived and leave on top of all the above, it can’t join up the dots to automatically log your arrival and departure times, calculate the parking charge and charge it to your stored payment method. Bottom line it’s easier and quicker in many situations to ignore the app and just go pay at a machine.

Shambolic customer service

I arrived at car park to find it locked with no attendant or entry system. After a lot of wasted time customer service told me to go to a different car park a mile away. I was then permitted to access the car park I’d booked by calling ParkBee who found my booking. It was only later I discovered that Just Park had cancelled the booking when they sent me elsewhere which meant I couldn’t add more time on the app… or get out of the car park! All of this entailed multiple calls to customer service who were unhelpful and obnoxious in the extreme, refusing to believe anything I told them and never accepting responsibility for anything. I now have a £100 fine hanging over me for “overstaying” in the car park they trapped me in as well as having wasted almost my entire day in London.

I use it for no hassle parking in places I don’t know

Generally use the app as a non-league football fan. Many grounds are off the beaten track and it’s not always easy to work out whether you’ll be able to park without hassle or not if you’ve not been to that place before. Working on the basis that parking generally costs ‘X’, the app gives me a choice between chancing it for free, paying when I get there, or paying for a secure and convenient space. I’ve probably overpaid on a couple of occasions, so I won’t use certain spaces again, but that doesn’t take away from their convenience and value at the time. I see them as an investment in knowing better for the next time, and if somewhere I go does require me to pay for parking, I’ll have Just Park as a very good option.

Bad parking experience overall and not a professional customer service dealing with complaints

I’d like to describe my own experience using the app recently. I’ve started recently using JustPark app to book parking spots when I travel for work and personal travels. I’ve had an unpleasant parking experience twice. The first when I got a PCN ticket despite paying and parking in the right space and the reason was the car park description wasn’t clear enough to say the spot is not fit for bigger sports cars. Tried to call the JustPark help line to find another fit alternative space but with no luck and ended with the PCN ticket in the morning. After emails and communication with the team, they liked to use the escape route and not to help, claiming that its my issue and responsibility. Shame!. The second when I booked another space in Oxford city to be surprised that the spot is a hole of mud on the curb doesn’t fit to park a car. Then got more shocked to find one of the neighbours have put a pile of rubbish cartage on front of my car. Again, talked and emailed just park about the incident with images evidence but never heard back from them or tried to help with the issue. I’ve got evidence for all of what I described to prove my claims. Overall, I don’t think I’d recommend the app to anyone genuinely.

Unreliable

Several times now, we have booked parking well in advance of a major event only to have the owner cancel it at very short notice, often only a day or two beforehand.
This is usually for England Women’s games whereby, I am hazarding a guess that the owner has only realised late on that a large attendance for an event is happening, and have then thought they may be able to make a few quid extra if they cancel us and resell, or have maybe had a better offer??
This leaves us high and dry though with little hope of finding a replacement at such short notice, and even when we have it has been considerably more expensive.
Just Park barely apologise, but do offer a refund that takes up to a mere 10 days to arrive!!
We have had some positive experiences too but the service is just unreliable and so not one we will now continue to use.

Horrible app and customer service

Where to begin, horrible customer service with vindictive and discriminatory staff. Was approached to help market their app and say good things about them since I had over 3000 guest in the span of 6 months, i humbly declined because I didn’t see anything good about the app to talk about not even a monetary incentive was offered. Just for my account to be put on hold(snooze)
I tried reaching out countless times to be ignored and then contacted on what’s app just to be berated by a staff (loads of vulgar language used and it’s funny cos I only had a correspondence with a lee andra when I called customer service) was then asked to provide the deeds to my house to release my account( I know a scam when I hear it). Then they came up story a guest got a ticket which may be true or not but if I have had 3000+ guest with 5 star customer review and 2 guests got a ticket don’t you think that’s odd (which I investigate to find out guest didn’t read parking description and parked in a diff spot then go fined but I degrees because I have moved on to a diff app. Have passed on my info to my lawyer as also had money disappear from my account with no explanation.
So here is my verdict don’t use this app more trouble than it’s worth, anything else is better than this app (need to be taken off App Store if am honest purely because I also think they sell your details/info to a 3rd party)

Scammed

I’ve been questioning my sanity since paying for 3 hours at Fistral Beach (Newquay) through the app and coming home to find a parking charge notice. The app approved my stay, me and my partner used it to track our time we had left and we thought it was great. We came back with what we thought was 10 minutes or so spare. Only to eventually find we had no proof of payment gone through the bank, no email/text confirmation. But just the personal knowledge of the fact that this dodgy app approved our parking, let us roam around Newquay and then decided to fine us. They’ve rejected every appeal I’ve made. There was no trace of my approval either. Good honest people have been scammed/ robbed by this app. If you use it, screen shot as much evidence as you can or you will be mugged by this pirate app.

Beware of marketing

Beware of your privacy. On installing it tries its hardest to harvest your email address. When you ignore that and proceed to book parking it pre-ticks the marketing options and hides them at the bottom the screen (which was illegal under GDPR). Later when you goto settings you have to manually untick all the ticked ‘default’ options for a 2nd time. And despite all this you then get pop up messages trying to get you to accept marketing and add ons. It has a pushy interface trying to sell add ons such as SMS reminders.
So here is my message to the top management.
Can you not be happy with £0.1 for millions of transactions a day without trying to covertly ram marketing and add-on sales into your customers. I would define this as greed.
By the time you have downloaded, registered, avoided the marketing traps, updated privacy settings, received some popups then I would say that it feels more difficult than the name ‘Just Park’ suggests, so maybe an App rename to ‘Just Complicated’ would feel more appropriate.

Unable to change password on the app

I was reviewing my security recommendations and JustPark was amongst them so I decided I would change my password as a precaution. However when you go through process you get sent around in a circle of clicking reset, going to the email and then being taken back to reset page with no option to actually change anything. On ringing them up they said the only way to do it is for them to make me a new account and merge my existing details. I didn’t like the sound of this as I wondered if they would have access to my bank details (I’m probably being paranoid but I’m a technophobe). I asked them if this was a common problem as they didn’t seem surprised. Reading between the lines it is as they were reluctant to deny it! It was suggested it might work on a laptop but I haven’t tried. Not very impressed and was not reassured by the professionalism of the call handler so don’t know what to do next. Using it for parking I haven’t had any problems.

Just the best way to park!

I’ve been using Just Park for a few years now. It is just brilliant - the future of parking is here.
- If you have something time -critical (a show you’re going to; an interview; in my case, a concert you’re performing in) it completely removes the time anxiety - no more worry about will I be able to park nearby or not, and how much time do I need to allow?
- If you need to park in an unfamiliar city, it makes it SO easy - no need to try to work out car park pricing over different time periods, what’s meant by resident parking zones in that place on that day, etc etc.
- everywhere I’ve parked so far has been lovely - it’s great to see pictures and detailed descriptions of the parking, in advance, AND to read other users’ reviews of the parking place.
- It’s usually very good value for money. The only times it comes up with “no availability “ or silly prices is when there’s something on locally - a rugby match, a half marathon, whatever- that will affect your plans anyway, so it gives an early warning!
So - thank you, Just Park, and I thoroughly recommend you to one and all.

Poor service levels

Although in theory a great app, I’m afraid like so many things they are let down by unnecessary, poor service levels. I booked a 2 day parking space for an overnight stay in hospital to avoid the stress of finding a space on the day. This was cancelled a few days later by the owner. Firstly if the app is set up correctly this shouldn’t happen. But mistakes do happen and I booked an alternative space at a higher price and had to pay, in full, again. Now the issue is the developer will only refund so much with the balance as a credit to be used within 6 months. Unfair and not right! It’s a small amount of money but it’s the principle. Please don’t make people, NO CUSTOMERS, grovel. It must cost a lot of money to set up these apps and we are grateful that you make our lives better. But please don’t forget your customers!

Functionality Issues could cost you money!!

This app has cost me £105 in the last six weeks. Firstly, whilst attempting to pay for a car park at £4.50, the app became slow and unresponsive resulting in me tapping the pay now icon a few times until it confirmed I had paid. I later discovered I’d paid four times. I requested my money back due to the functionality issue and I discovered they simply gave me £20 of car parking for that same car park as one continuous period. I had never even gone back to the car park so I basically lost that money and they kept it for something I never even received. Then I went on the app to park at fistral car park on fistral headland. As I dragged out the map and tapped it, fistral car park headland road appeared so I clicked on it and paid. I then received a parking charge for £85 because I’d selected the wrong car park which was one bay away but with similar address features. I lost my appeal and am now £105 out of pocket due to the functionality issues with it. Of course they were uninterested in helping me. BEWARE using this App. Do not trust it and check and double check every aspect. Don’t keep clicking on pay icon if the screen hasn’t responded and be careful you select the correct car park as your loyalty and good intent counts for nothing with any of these people

Can’t return the same day unless original booking has expired

After the last shambles, see below, I decided to give it another go this time in Dundee. I don’t know the city and thought pre booking the parking would save faffing about as I was short on time. Got to the alloted street and it wasn’t clear which was the parking bay, couldn’t get in touch with the bay owner. A local resident said this happens a lot and that the owner was at a totally different address. In the end had to risk double yellows and wasted the best part of £8.
I used to use this everyday, parking for work. Back in November I had to leave early for a family emergency. Emergency over returned to work and tried to park at the same car park again using the app. Couldn’t get it to work, so phoned the apps helpline who suggested cancelling the original booking. Cancelled the booking and paid again for the remaining hours, all good… A few weeks later I receive a 60 quid fine, cancelling the booking has cancelled the original ticket, not from the time of cancelling! Two appeals later and saving £0.70 has cost me £100!

Cornwall parking

Car parking costs £10 per day and if you try to add another day (24 hours) it charges you another £15 instead of £10. There is no explanation on how Cornwall council’s car parking app, just park works and you just constantly get fleeced through the teeth in their car parks. Needless to say that you can’t transfer your parking ticket to another car park even if you have involuntarily purchased 6 days- another 24 hours was unavailable.
Even phoning the number provided is just a complete con as no human is available and although it gives an option to transfer your ticket to another parking site , it doesn’t actually work. Email enquiries are left unanswered and it’s just a really crap app and taken me hours and caused a lot of stress during my holidays.
Internet was just not really working in Bude either, so due to this awful experience I will seal other holiday destinations.

Fundamentally flawed.

Used the App to pay for parking at a beach in Cornwall. Cellular coverage is dreadful at so many locations in the county - it’s a joke.
The App only has the option to select a specific period of time for parking. There’s no option to select a capped parking period and then terminate the parking session when you leave.
Received an SMS message reminding us that our parking session would expire in 15 minutes, so I used the App to extend the booking by another hour.
When we returned to the car I checked how much time we had left in our parking session. The App showed that the initial booking had completed, and there was no record of the extension.
I called JustPark support. They were helpful BUT :
- they confirmed that it had no record of the extension to the original parking booking.
- they confirmed that neither the customer nor JustPark can extend a completed parking session. This is illogical.
- they also confirmed that, despite the customer and JustPark being the parties in a financial and service transaction, it’s a third party that would issue and enforce any fines on behalf of the car park owner. Clearly these arrangements are completely disjointed.
- they confirmed that the car park does have ANPR cameras (these are clearly visible) and that any fine/penalty would be issued automatically.
Clearly, if you overrun your paid parking session you are then trapped with the prospect of an automatic fine when you leave the car park even if you are happy to pay for the full period that you parked your vehicle. This is an extremely poor customer experience.
JustPark has raised a formal escalation and I’m waiting to hear about next steps.

Great App🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Second time I’ve used this app for parking close to Gatwick airport. It’s worked perfectly on both occasions, as well as saving me a fair bit of money in comparison to airport parking. (Refused to use Gatwick meet and Greet again after they lost my car and had to wait around for three hours whilst they found it!) I felt more than happy leaving my car at private address parking and then getting a local cab to the airport.
The app works well; you select where you want to book, and pay online. The details of the booking are emailed to you, and directions are clear and precise. I cannot fault my experience using this app, and will definitely be using them again in the near future!

Terrible customer service

The app doesn’t work properly on the latest iPhone (keeps reporting a random browser issue) and the customer service support is terrible. The app randomly changed the vehicle registration number to an old one whilst I was booking, without warning me, and then it was impossible to cancel the booking due to the cancellation links in the confirmation email and in the app not working. Customer service then refused to refund saying it was user error and past their 10 minute Grace period despite me continuously sending them screenshots that the app was crashing.
It wasn’t even that much money, but I’m just really annoyed at the poor customer service I received. Please don’t respond to say this isn’t your normal customer service standards as I spoke to 3 different customer agents and they all ignored me and just said they don’t give refunds, so it clearly is the normal standard…

Dropped the Ball

Used to be a really simple app, did what it needed simply and effortlessly but lately it’s been buggy and this week was the worst.
Parked as usual, paid, great!
Went to extend booking not realising I’d run out by 2 mins so no option to extend, had to do new booking. No problem, except it said “park again” in a car park I used months ago. In my haste I hadn’t noticed and paid.
No option to stop, cancel or end the session early in order to start a new one. How ridiculous.
Tried the app chat support… pointless exercise - had that open waiting for a response for 30 minutes. Tried the “report an issue” - again just as useless as app chat.
Logged online and 12 hours later get an email that doesn’t address the issue, just tells me to clear the App Cache (no option on iPhone), Check for update, Log out or if all that fails delete the app and reinstall.
I’ll be taking the last option, but just the first part. App has got worse and support is diabolical. I appreciate most of the money goes to the car park operator but if you’re going to run a live app, you need to support it.

APPALLINGLY GLITCHY APP.

The worst app (and website) I have ever used. I spend way too much of my time emailing and calling their customer support reporting several (too many to go into here) ongoing (some for a year) issues with their app and website. Despite providing them with the details alerting them to all of these issues, the replies I receive do not even acknowledge them. They clearly do not read their customers emails and just reply with what appears to be a set script. They tell me they’re dealing with whatever the issue is, and then follow up informing me that they’ve been resolved. When I check, they have not been resolved at all and I’m back to square one! Do they even have a ‘Technical Team’?
As for their claim on here that they’ve updated the app to solve bugs etc, seriously?! Take another look at your app. And more importantly, there is absolutely no point in asking your customers to contact you to report any issues unless you take note and properly respond to our emails and phone calls, and then actually do something constructive about them.

Appalling customer support

I was charged 6.5 hours for 90minutes parking because the App went into buffering mode when I tried to end the parking.
I phoned JustPark one hour after I left the car park and explained that the App was still buffering: I was told there was a problem with the App, to uninstall and reinstall: and that the time period would be corrected. However I was billed as though I had parked for the remainder of that day - a total of 6.5 hours.
I emailed and explained in detail what had happened. The reply from JustPark said it was the customer’s responsibility to end the parking period and if there were problems I should have contacted JustPark - which I had done and which I had already explained in my email.
I sent a further email of explanation and received a reply stating they could not find a record of my telephone call - could I supply the telephone number I had called from? This I did , but this time I received no reply at all.

Adding a Credit card problem solved

Just putting this here for anyone else who has trouble adding a credit card on the app (returning from the verification process, the screen just wiped all the info..) IT CANNOT BE DONE THAT WAY - you need to go to your Just Park account VIA A BROWSER. Tried asking to no avail, but found the answer in the FAQs.
UPDATED - good to get response from the developer (added another star) but the company needs to look at the automated responses they send out - no, I didn’t have a problem changing a car number plate as per email 2 … email 1 was correct (credit card problem). Shame there was no email 3 telling me what the workaround was….

Just Park Wizardry!!

Being new to the area and realising using car parks were easier to use if you could use the Just Park App I became a convert!!
It’s such an easy time saving way to park, when you’re near ending your parking session you can add more time if your not done shopping, finishing a well earned coffee, waiting for friends or are completely lost in the area and need more time to explore.
A brilliant App to have would definitely recommend to the people who end up walking back to add more time on to their ticket back at the car park, you could do that while enjoying a cuppa and cake!!!

Awful app

Stuck in a loop with this app. It asks for apple
Pay, I select my card and just get sent back to the previous screen with no way to pay. I select Apple Pay and it asks me which card again, and again. So me wife tried on her phone. It told her to log in them sent her immediately to another screen to select a car park. She selected the car park and the app told her to login. She briefly sees the login screen then is sent back to select a car park before she can do anything in the login screen. We both tried for about 15 mins before paying at the machine with the small amount of change that we had. We’ve now only got 1 hour parking rather than the two that we need and are both very stressed out. I’m uninstalling this piece of rubbish,

Parking space owner. Not great service

As a parking space owner in prime central London. (I own a apartment and secure space) I have no issues in finding multiple takers within hours of listing my space.
Most recently I have rented my space out to a reliable young gentleman for the past 12months. He pays consistently and is very respectful of the space and neighbourhood.
JustPark are not as respectful or reliable. Some months I get paid my rent (minus the 20% fee they charge around £30 p/m). Some months they pay me, some months they don’t, some times I don’t get paid for 3 or more months.
I have raised this with JustPark and I’ve been fobbed off a few time with the response “ The time it takes is dependent on the payment method and the bank that processes the funds. We can't control how long it takes unfortunately so you have to wait until they stop being pending to withdraw.”
Obviously a response not based on fact or honesty given the wait has been up to 3 months for payment into a reliable high street bank (Barclays) who never delay more than 2 days any payment for my personal or business life. JustPark are are dishonest and unreliable. Not for parking space owners. I suggest advertising elsewhere.
JustPark I am here, still, waiting for you to respond with a satisfactory answer.

The best parking locating and booking app!

I was pretty hesitant to use JustPark initially as it just seemed a little too convenient and slick. But I had no need to worry. The spaces are accurately listed, prices reasonable, customer service responsive and space owners decent. The reviews of the spaces within the app itself are also great aids when booking, helping you judge whether your car will fit, if the space is easy to find, and the locality of it.
I would recommend that when you first book a new space that you haven’t used before that you arrive with plenty of time to find it but also if you are super unfortunate and have a problem, there’s plenty of time for JustPark/the space owner to help resolve it.

Utterly worthless

I had parked in a spot for a day. I checked to see if I was still being appropriately charged and I was. At the end of the day I checked to see how much I was charged, and the app had stopped charging me, as if I had done some affirmative action to stop parking. I had not. Lo and behold I now have a fixed penalty notice to challenge.
Want support in the app? Sure! You can send an email and get no reply (they thought I was talking about not being able to leave a parking spot what?). Alternatively, go through two layers of arduous bot 'support'. Then you'll talk to someone who will have no idea what you're talking about and will take forever to reply. Want to check something else on your phone while you're in live chat? Don't exit the app. It will crash and there's no way to get your live chat back.
Utterly worthless. Total waste of time. Keep pound coins in your car instead. Use this app if your time is worthless, because that's how JustPark values your time.

App is okay but company is terrible

I have been using Just Park for a few years. The app is okay but is a bit buggy as it doesn’t like you booking another car park session if you already have one that is active.
I recently turned up for a slot I had booked in an underground car park only to find that none were available. I was soon joined by two other vehicles who like me had pre-booked.
I called Just Park twice and on two occasions they hung up because they were unwilling to resolve the double bookings and offered alternatives miles away from where I needed to be. The car park was unsupervised with vehicles badly parked and many were inappropriate for the bay sizes and vehicle types. Just Park are useless at resolving problems and I guess do little to vet the car parks and how they are managed as the one in question was full of litter and broken glass suggesting a lack of management. They were planning to contact the owner, presumably by email who no doubt will respond in the hope that I and the other inconvenienced customers will just give up and go away.
If you would be happy with this risk, then go ahead and download but be prepared!

Worst parking experience ever

I arrived at the car park but the barrier would not raise. Called customer service who said the booking was under a different reg. However I had entered the correct reg (my wife’s) in the app but it asked me to log in on payment so i think this messed things up. They had to cancel the booking and refund it (3-5 days) and rebook it. Even then the barrier would not raise even using the new pin. They opened it using a special remote override and said that if it didn’t work when I returned to the car I would need to call them again. On return to the car later that evening (9pm on Sunday) I called them only to find that they close at 6pm!!! I only managed to get to my car by asking very nicely to the helper person for the residents who opened the barrier. Will never use JustPark again.

Awfully designed app

Just received a parking ticket after parking in a location last Saturday. I paid via the app for 3 hours while I was doing some university work however, my stay ended up being slightly longer and I tried to extend my parking 10 minutes prior to the expiry time, the app continued to say “payment failed due to car park already being full” bare in mind I was already parked in that car park. I continuously tried to pay for parking several times however it still said the payment had failed because the car park was full or that my connection was bad. I was interrupted from my study as I frantically had to rush back to the car park, I arrived about 30 minutes after my expired time. I have sent a form to dispute this parking fine as it was due to the awfully designed app in allowing me to comply with the statute and pay for my intended extended parking. I will never use any car park that uses this app ever again. I do not recommend this to anybody unless you want to be robbed due to their evil tactical tricks that use so that you are unable to extend your stay. Wouldn’t even rate this 1 star.

Good alternative to “classical” airport parking

If you travel light and you are looking to save money and/or time for short trips leaving from and returning to the same airport and you don’t mind walking for 30 min or so (or take a bus) then this app is just for you. Ideal for city breaks.
Simple easy interface and booking process, free cancellations.
Sometimes it might feel a bit awkward just leaving one’s car in someone’s parkway without talking with them in person (what if it’s the neighbour’s spot and so on); I only take offers with clear parking indications and / or owners that leave a phone number - just to be on the safe side, not had any issues so far on 5+ trips.

Brilliant

COVID-19 and contactless has become so widely used now. So, it was great that most of the carparks we frequent on holiday are JustPark as paying or extending stays is so simple. Gone are the days of running back to renew a ticket because you’ve underestimated the time of the visit and no more queuing at pay stations (the ones in Looe were particularly long, we beat everyone through paying through the app!!)
We’ll be letting our son and daughter-in-law to download the app as it’s been busy while we’ve been here (end of June / early July) so it’ll be far worse in August!
Download the app, register your car and away you go! Awesome 👏🏻

Good system except....

Good points: simple to use once you set up your payment etc. Handy when you don’t have correct money. Saves you from trying to follow instruction on ticket machine when teaming with rain.
Bad points: You must remember to stop your car parking time, otherwise you pay for your space until you remember to log into the app to conclude your park time, even if (post pandemic) you have driven all night. The second issue is the CARPARK attendant doesn’t know that you’ve paid to park because you won’t have a ticket displayed. I parked & attendant came over to tell me that I had to pay, when I told him I had done so using the app, he had no way of checking other than me showing him my phone, which was difficult due to the 2m social distance rule.

Great app, love it. Solves my problems and customer support actually exist and helpful.

The only downside is adds need to be checked if someone ask for a key last min and they don’t hold insurance. Maybe if this is the case, just park needs to vet the accuracy of the insurance so it makes customers feel safe.
I had an issue where last min before day before travelling, the owner asked me for my keys in case they need to move the car!!! I felt unsafe as my car is brand new glc and they said they are insured. But when I asked them to email me their insurance documents, they asked me to cancel the booking. I was stuck as not long before I had to fly.
Just park helped me but the space still available. Surely this should not be acceptable legally!

Terrible app

Just received a parking ticket. Parked right next to the machine, inputted to location number and on the next screen it has the entering time as current so I just adjusting the leave time to cover with extra the time I would need. No start button to begin, search all throughout the app, nothing. Both cars are registered on it as is are bank details. Ticket was issued 1/2 way through the time period. Belfast has just switched to this provider and it is a major step down in convenience. Talked to two traffic wardens who were passing by and they stated it has been nothing but trouble with this company and that the council is looking to get out of the contract with them and go back to Park Mobile. Tried to use the Live chat and was unable to connect with anyone. Again Park Mobile you just open input your location and hit start, simple and easy peace of mind. Just park app is trash, doesn’t even have a help guide in site, just some useless Live chat option. Can’t wait until they are gone from Belfast

Parking made easy

Just park is a simple straight forward app that saves you time and hassle when parking.
You can set your stay time and the reg of the vehicle your in .
It tells you the cost and there’s no ticket needed.
It also informs you of then it’s getting close to your end of stay by notification to your phone , offering either a extended stay period or just informing you the current periods ending.
Could it be better , yes.
1. As I’m a Mtce engineer and length of jobs are unknown at any given location, I always choose the longest period. I regularly finish earlier than the parking stay given and then move to the next job and incur the same issue. Doing this 3 or 4 times is pricey. So I would love to see monies not used from one machine area transferred to my next allotted parking area.
2. The app allows you to choose the length of stay but doesn’t seem to show the fee allotted per set time periods that’s printed on the machine. It just shows how much it costs overall for your stay
3. The app don’t give the max time to stay when until you half way through. Nice to know straight away.

Useful, but needs some UX/UI work

super useful when it works, but trying to navigate the app and get to where you want to get to is a bit of a headscratcher at first. The interface is not greatly intuative, nor are things where you expect them. The map as the landing page would allow you to quickly click a parking area and purchase the hours you need, however this function seems to be for pre-booking only which doesnt make sense for the primary use that the majority of users are looking for. Instead you must search the parking areas name in the search bar even though you can clearly see it on the map and then pay after arrival there. It seems counter intuative to have the function this way around.

Great App

I have been using JustPark for a couple of years, I find it easy to use, and the best news is I can find convenient, well priced spaces to park. From private spaces to well known car parks, LOTS to choose from at very reasonable prices. Very convenient as also when in a car park -got no change? Pay with JustPark, convenient email confirmations and receipts. Quick, easy and CONVENIENT. In a car park yesterday, parked next to a meter (bizarrely) lady came over to use, I said I was not using as I was just paying via JustPark, she said “Poor you”... Why?? Why would you want to scrabble for change... oh BEST IT, out in town, Meyer ticking... EXTEND PARKING, don’t have to walk 2 miles back to car park!A few clicks later-extended! Result!

Excellent

My family and I used this app twice in the centre of London this week end. Both times the car parking facilities were top notch!
The first car park was underground in the centre of London with 24 hour surveillance and “real people” you could talk to. Parking was quick and easy here.
The second was situated in the grounds of a church and was accessed by an automatic gate. As we approached the car park an option appeared on my phone to tap to gain access. The automatic gate opened, closed behind us and we parked again without any fuss. We saw security cameras and when we returned to pick the car up, two security men were waiting in the car park.
I would definitely recommend this app and service to anyone! It gave us such peace of mind! Thank you

Worst app ever

So on holiday in Dorset and all of the car parks you can pay using this app, great I thought. 1st time I try to use I get a message saying that my car isn’t my car and would not let me book. Emailed support who confirmed issue with the app and an update would be out, which to be fair it was later that day. So the next day we are somewhere else and this time the app does work, I book and pay for parking, it confirms and I even get an email confirmation. BUT 2 hours after parking there I get an email saying there was a problem with my payment and my booking is cancelled, what? I check ApplePay which confirms payment made and it is also showing on my online bank statement already, so no issues at my end. Again I email support and get told that they are having problems processing payments and I should receive a refund within the next 4 days so can I please re-book and pay again for the time I had parked earlier that day. Really? So pay again when their systems aren’t working despite already being debited and before any refund comes back? Sorry money back 1st as until that happens I have paid for my parking and good luck trying to issue a parking ticket!

Rubish

So I get to Stratford and find somewhere to park. Upon parking it shows an app that you can use to park so I download it and attempt to use it........ this is where the problems start. So I couldn’t sign in with Facebook like literally every other app in the world as its function was not working. I couldn’t log in with email as this function was not working. I couldn’t log in with google..... yea you guessed it! This function was not working. After spending maybe 10 mins attempting to use this terrible app I had to call up the pay to use number and pay over the phone. And then it lets you know that or though you have to pay over the odds for parking you can get 2 txt both charged at 20p each to remind you that your parking is going to expire. But you can’t have just 1 txt to let you know.
Literally the only time I will ever park at a “just park” location ever!!!

App it is impossible to open case against then you can’t park (no available space )

It will be great if app will have options to respond then you paid, arrived - but it is not available space, and app will give some instructions take pictures or video or something, it is plenty complain about this situation on TrustPilot it also happened to me - for example it was happened with me I arrived 19 oct tried to call, no answer wrote email and only 30 nov JustPark respond no refund because owner space said it was plenty space (owner have cctv)but just park no interesting to refund money £ 66 and it was huge stress to find you don't have parking and you need to get you plain.
It will be useful to open case - not space available and app will ask take pictures for proof and refund you money

Ok app needs easier contact

It’s a good app to find parking spaces. The thing that I think should be improved is the contact option.
It only gives you contact details for he owner AFTER booking. This means if you have a question about the space you have to pay first, and can then ask. You can cancel it after but it depends how quickly they get back to you and it’s a bit annoying. I think you should be able to contact the owner before booking to make sure it’s right for you.
It would also be good to have clearer information about how much space there is, how many cars can fit etc. As a new driver I don’t want to turn up and find I need to squeeze into a tight space between two other people, so I’d rather know.

Easy but couldn’t check details of reviews properly.

I was making a journey to a place that’s notoriously bad with parking so opted for this. The app made it really easy to see the options and book
What let it down is that I couldn’t read more than a handful of reviews and wanted to check for myself if my car might fit. They should insist that people show image of spaces. I had to resort to website to open reviews properly. Turned out that it was very tight ht because there was another car I’m using drive presumably owners. I would have assumed it was otherwise a large single space. It would be good to mention it’s a two space drive for this reason
Overall this app and service is an absolute godsend. Parking is a right mare in this country and this is a win-win-win.

Ok for one of parking but daily parking is an issue

Great app for one off or irregular parking, very convenient and simple to use.
The issue is when you want to park daily and need to pay daily.
When you park for a day they automatically give you 24 hours, which means if you get to the parking the following day earlier you either have to remember when your parking finishes and pay then. You may think you can cancel and rebook for the new day, but the application does. It allow cancellations at many sites. So you are reliant on your memory or have to set up an alarm.
If you take the alternative route and extend your parking you do not get an updated invoice, which means you cannot claim for the extra expense.
This has already cost me one parking ticket (revoked because of the issues outlined above). So be aware of the pitfalls, or just park, please make this app more commuter friendly.!!

Handy app but watch out for wrong pricing on non bookable spaces

Have found some real bargains via this app on the spaces that you can book via the little flash symbol, but twice I’ve driven to a non bookable space advertised at one price which demanded nearly double the cost on arrival.
I sent feedback to JustPark about the latest incident and it took 12 days and 6 emails to get the customer service person to understand what I was saying - app says £20, carpark says £40 - simple enough I thought! Whether they do anything or not I don’t know - his lack of comprehension and convoluted template marketing-speak replies didn’t fill me with confidence. So on this basis I would not rely on the non bookable spaces advertised. However have had no probs with the in-app bookable ones.

Brilliantly useful app

Once you have quickly set up your profile & payment on the app it is incredibly easy to use and a really useful tool for daily life. I use it for commuting when I need to or when I'm going somewhere where I think I'm going to struggle to park. The spaces are always exactly as the description and I like that people are honest in stating if it is a space that is only appropriate for a very small car. The detailed descriptions help.
I would give it 4.5stars and it only looses half a star because I once booked a parking space which was further away from the station than it said it was. (Only marginally). Other than that this app hasn't faltered & it makes parking super easy and stress-free for me.

Great app love it

Really handy and useful app. Parking is nearly always half price (or even more) than the standard advertised price of a parking provider, which is excellent as it makes living in London far more affordable. Also I've used the app for over a year now and it's very consistently having parking spaces available in excellent locations.
One good thing would be to perhaps link up with some boroughs to enable pay to bay parking , it's outside the remit of this app but at the moment there are just so many ways to pay for parking it would be much nicer if there was one major app where pay to bay parking, in addition to parking in car parks could all be booked in one appz
