This game is really good because you get to make the characters do whatever you want and you get to change their costumes. I think it is really funny watching them dance and you can make the audience clap or boo and you can make fire come up from the stage and money go onto it. I think this game is amazing and you should get this app!!😄👍

The app is still downloading but I like it already. My mum used to have this game and it's very fun. Don't listen to the review that says a creepy man popped up. That is oviosly fake. I heard of apps that makes peoples houses haunted. But a creepy face in a children's game? That's ridicilous. If that person was telling the truth then I will be forever haunted that my phone will be stolen while I'm sleeping. That is a promise. Trust me.

My 2 year old loves it. It's cool that the different "instruments" play different speeds depending where you put them so lots of possibilities. Super catchy tune, but it agree it would be great if there where different ones.

I love the Toca Boca apps and have bought every single one. My only main issue with this app is that it crashes on a few of the instruments, if I play them too fast it just closes the app which can be annoying.

Genius! This is how to design a quality app for very small kids.
My 16 month old boy and his 7 year old sister both love this. A brilliant earworm. Simple to understand and use. Very funny - even after many goes we still laugh at it. I'm looking forward to an updated version that could offer more chances to add variety to the basic tune.

Downloaded this for my granddaughter, now every time she visits all I get it 'toca boca band nanny'! I actually go to bed with the voice of the kid with the rainbow on her face playing in my head.
Could do with a few different tunes and maybe a couple of new characters as its getting a little stale, but I've definitely had my money's worth.

When I first saw this thing I thought it was amazing. It runs really smoothly and there's a lot of options for changing things. For kids this must be great! However for adults, even young adults, this thing will drive you crazy and you'll be singing it in your head as you go to sleep!
Recommended, just not for any insomniacs out there.

I just cannot stop messing around with this great app. I downloaded it because I liked the look of the art style and thought it'd be fun to pass a bit of time but I haven't been able to put it down since. One of my favourite apps to date, and I would gladly pay 69p or something to get some more characters with more sounds. Brilliant.

I am 35 yrs old and I have to see this is one of the most enjoyable music apps I have ever played. Can totally make great tunes, love jamming with all the different characters, there are so many combinations to create, and when adding the characters to the star can be played in such an easy way, it's never out of tune. Amazing and Awesome!

I know this app is made for little kids, but it is so much fun!! Please add more characters to play around with, maybe some cool things like putting two characters together might make them interact somehow? Seriously though if your aged 1 to 100 this game is delightful:P

This is awesome. Easy drag and drop, a variety of characters, sounds from piano to vocals, to guitar, drums, varying frequency, each one animated, such variety of sounds you can drag to compliment. Sure my 2 year old will adore. Free, no in app purchases.

My son Skypes and phones family members, reads ebooks and plays on my iPad nearly as much as I do. He chooses which app he wants to play - even selecting them in their different folders! He really enjoys this app.
However, my only issue would be that there is no save facility to play back and show off his works!!

My three year old has most the Toca Bocas. I find some are great and other not. The TB apps are very hit and miss.
Toca Band, the concept is interesting, and it's fun, but it gets very boring very quick, my daughter played it for about 2 days and then hasn't bothered since. I do agree that maybe another song/tune would be ideal in extending the playability of this game.
There was a lot of hype for this game, my daughter was aware something new was arriving and it was good to see her excited for that, it's just sad that when it arrived it was a little disappointing.

Love Toca, kids always excited when a new app comes out (age 2&4). However they didn't play with this for longer then about 3 minutes. Tea party and Birthday get played still. Think the early apps had more of a creative play type feel whereas this is more automated.

Ignore the review that says there's on one tune. It's true, there is only one underlying rhythm/theme, but there are sixteen different 'instruments' that can be arranged in (according to a quick google of some maths geeks) roughly 60,000 combinations, *excluding* the three different 'levels' on the 'stage', which equate to different prominence and volume for each instrument playing. Then you can also arrange a band using any of these combinations and at the same time select one instrument for the user to play themselves. My neighbours 2.5 year old is hooked. Utterly brilliant, and costs less than a round of sandwiches.

I love this app it's brilliant and strangely addictive :) I would like more tunes so you can choose from a list of songs and I would like the pads to be musical so you can just choose to play them as drum pads but these are just thoughts.
I teach early years music and I think this will be a great hit.

My daughter became a toca boca fan with the introduction of the tea part app, which is simple, but great, very entertaining. Since then we got on the band wagon, but really not impressed with this one and won't be buying things as soon as they come out in the future.
There really is only 1 tune to which you drag the characters around to play different at different tempos along with a few mini 'games' if you can call them that to play with each individual character. But that's it. It's not worth £1.49. It's done and dusted in 10 minutes and after 5 minutes the tune just gets so frustrating that I had to ask my daughter to stop and play something different as I was afraid what it would do to her mind, let alone her dad's.
Anyhow, wouldn't purchase and would think twice next time they release something.

There are endless combinations to make so much experimentation . My 3.5 boy loves this new toca app.
It's also teaching him different styles of music from opera to rap , and different instruments , I think it's educational as well as great fun & highly entertaining .
