Only been using for a few days and I admit I’m useless at technical stuff, too old at 60+ to learn, but so far have managed to book five tickets for Disney on ice which was pretty straight forward until I got to adding an accessibility ticket. You have to phone them but could get through. Told me to press one then went dead. Went on for six days and still couldn’t get through. Ended up paying full price for all five

1. The App doesn’t appear on the FaceID list
2. You cannot download the tickets - before you ask, yes - latest version of Ticketmaster and iOS.
3. Online (web version) of chat is just as useless.
Do better, this is an utter waste of time. Only benefit is that you can ‘show’ your barcode albeit totally counterintuitive as you should be able to add to wallet.

My partner sat in a queue for about ten minutes before I joined on my account. She had around six and a half thousand people ahead of her whereas I only had around one and a half thousand people ahead of me. Seems the queue figures are just made up. Didnt make a blind bit of difference anyway as when we both got access to purchase tickets, the date we selected was sold out less than five minutes after going on sale and when we clicked the button to change dates, it didn’t register, and we ended up being chucked back out again.

It’s a total SCAM, bought resale ticket on their platform and surprise surprise I CAN NOT RETURN THEM. Was hoping to make a surprise for my bf and buy tickets for concert which is gonna happen in slightly less than 4 months BUT prices on here are crazy, no proper availability because bloody Ticketmaster let’s resellers buy unbelievable amount of tickets for cheap price and than resale them on the sale platform for the price of my kidney. There were three seats and I was hoping to buy two for myself. But after I’ve got one ticket than other seats disappeared, straight isn’t it?! I will complain to anyone to get my money back because to spend over £150 for one ticket it’s disaster.

The last twice I have used this app it has logged me out of my account the moment before my ticket has been due to be scanned. After queuing for an hour it’s the last thing anyone needs especially if there’s a poor data signal at the venue and each time this has taken at least 10 minutes at the front of the queue to get logged back in. Fortunately on the second occasion at the Reading festival organisers had provided a User Resolution Wi-Fi network which allowed me to access my ticket but this app has been very frustrating on the last couple of uses.

The Ticketmaster app is good and works well, however there is one big hole which is that it only covers U.K. events and I have tickets for US events that I cannot see unless I go via a browser which isn’t always convenient. I cannot download the US app either as it hasn’t been made available in the U.K.
As a user I would like to be able to see all of my tickets booked worldwide through Ticketmaster. It’s one organisation so in theory should be a simple story. Failing that please make the major Ticketmaster apps available in other countries.

I purchased the wrong ticket for the wrong date on the presale - ticketmaster was creating a fake pressure - showing tickets as out of stock, or saying that only one ticket is left (all that at regular price, no early bird discounts). After presale ended, almost all ticket types are generally available and of course they won’t change it or refund. I ended up paying twice as the date of presale tickets was wrong. Customer service is useless, can’t refund, can’t resale, can’t transfer.

Today it has taken me 3 attempts to secure 2 tickets. And it had 5 minutes on the clock for one of the occasions. You fill in the information and it times out.
Sometimes I cannot get entry to search for shows because I have a VPN on. I have to pause it to get access. This defeats the object of having a VPN to protect your personal details from hackers and other Cyber Criminals.

I never had any problems with this app before, but then my Tickets weren’t loading. They also stopped loading in multiple browsers. It just said “fetching your tickets – this shouldn’t take long” and then never fetched them. I wondered if signing out and back in again would help, but upon trying to sign back in I get the message “sign in error – sign in server is unavailable”. I know the password is correct because I used it to sign in on Safari. I have an event next week and am afraid I won’t be able to get in when I’ve spent money on a ticket! Between this and the O2 Academy app, there seems no way for me to find my ticket!

There are faults that should not happrn. For the Behonce Concert, it was not possible to save the Ticket to the Apple Wallet like the Micharl Buble Concert. I don’t know why? Arriving to the Principality Stadium every time happens the same… No internet connection on the Gates. The App tells you to Sign in again, nO access to the Tickets obviously. Freaks me out. Happened last year also with the Ed Sheeran concert. This things should not happen.
On the other hand: If you are not from UK, just visiting, u r not able to download the App. No UK App - No tickets !!! we had friends from Spain with the Apple Store set on Spain it was so much trouble get their PAID tickets 🤦🏻‍♀️ Why?

Booked £60 tickets standing tickets. The band had to change the venue. However my tickets were changed from standing to a randomly allocated seated ticket, not what I paid for. I was not notified of this change, it only said on the ticket itself. Furthermore, there is no customer service line, the customer service number displayed on the app has been discontinued. And getting in contact with an actual person on the chat function on the app seems to take an eternity.
If you have an urgent query it does not seem like you will be able to resolve it quickly, would recommend alternative ticketing sites where possible.

I always buy via Ticketmaster if possible for a gig. Their website/app is easy to use and I have never had a problem. The app on a whole is fantastic. Just every now and then it decides that it hates me and won’t let me access my tickets to my events because it thinks i’m a robot. Could you please add a ‘im not a robot’ function because it’s pretty annoying when a human can’t do human things because of a stupid design in an app that persistently and forcefully pronounces you as a robot. i just wanna see my easy life tickets man.

The experience of trying to use an eGift card has left me frustrated and disappointed with Ticketmaster. I bet no one is aware before buying Ticketmaster gift cards that you cannot purchase e-tickets with them. Given that, increasingly, this is how venues issue tickets, it’s makes gift cards obsolete. I’ve had to purchase an additional ‘souvenir paper ticket’ in order to use a gift card, for an additional cost of £3, to spend money already paid to Ticketmaster. Just another of their ‘rip-off’ practices! After this experience, I will avoid Ticketmaster in future.

I have been trying for weeks to get tickets for Brian Cox. Thought it was my cards so tried all I had still wouldn’t work then my friend tried her Amex card still wouldn’t work. So because of that I have now lost out on the seats that my daughter wanted and then when I tried to book seats next to it, it won’t let me leave a single seat when I see on their I a single seat a couple of rows down. There was no number to phone and I emailed and have yet still to hear from someone. Poor customer service very disappointed

I ordered two Ed Sheehan tickets £88 each plus ‘insurance’ at £7 something, which actually is not insurance at all since you can only get your money back if the concert is cancelled but surely if the concert was cancelled everyone’s tickets would be refunded anyway?? Anyway after buying two tickets it turned out that all London trains were on strike meaning we had no way of getting down there and so we couldn’t go. We tried to put them up for resale but they didn’t sell since not many people like us cant get around or to London without trains. Tried to get a refund but if you can’t make the concert you don’t get a refund which is ridiculous, even though there was a valid reason for not being able to make it and even though I had the so called ‘insurance’. Wouldn’t spend a lot of money on a ticket with this app as if you can’t make it then you’ve lost a lot of money like myself. If you do I wouldn’t recommend paying more for the pointless ‘insurance’.

Thanks ticketmaster for:
1. Only showing me my tickets 2 days before the event. Some tickets are expensive. I was genuinely worried at some point that I wasn’t gonna get the tickets and
2. For informing me last minute, literally an hour before the event that I don’t actually have to print the tickets and that I can use the pdf version on my phone. This is after countless emails and notifications telling me I absolutely MUST print my tickets.

The app itself is good but it will ask me to sign in almost every time I load it up. Since I don't go to events every weekend I forget what password I use so I have to reset every time.
I don't understand why they have chosen this method of authentication over something like face ID. It's only ever a problem for me and it's not like Ticketmaster is my bank so it seems unnecessary. If these reviews are actually used in any way it would be great if face ID was used instead of asking for a password all the time.

My daughter bought me two tickets for an Alan Partridge show and tried to transfer them to me ….that’s when the problems started! The transfer didn’t work and the tickets disappeared into the ether. Customer support is only by email, there is no telephone contact, and is very slow. It took 2 days to sort out and was only sorted the day before the concert. I’m guessing it’s an outfit run with minimal staff probably ok unless things go wrong….you have been warned!

I do not normally leave a review but just to let you know if you download this app it will allow you to spend money and book tickets but if the event is postponed or cancelled like me you will NEVER get a refund and there is nobody to speak to. They have a chat bot which is a robot and it sends you round and round in circles to help pages and literally nobody to speak too! I googled a phone number online and when you call it, it says this phone is no longer used. Please pleas believe me when I say NEVER buy any tickets for any events through Ticketmaster as I even paid extra for insurance and they still cheated me and I’ve lost a lot of money.

Hello, I usually really like your service but today I’ve had a huge frustration using both the website and the app.
I wouldn’t rate this app as bad usually, but it seems to be the only way to get someone to help me.
I’m trying to book tickets to Aurora in London in April the 6th. But every time I’ve reached the checkout flow an error message appears “418 Not authorized”. It happened both when logged in and logged out, on the web and on the App. It’s the first time that I have encountered that issue. But now it’s preventing me from taking ticket to a concert I really want to go to. Pleaseeeee help me.
Btw it’s really frustrating to have to message you here to get help. Your help center is quite bad. It would be great to have an intercom widget install on your website to help with customer support.

Booking tickets was okay I just wish it would allow a view where you could see all the tickets I actually use your mouse key just to go over there and manage to get a price rather than have to individually go for each section lastly very unhappy about paying for postage for tickets when in this day and due to the environment we should be able to do it on the mobile phone instead of getting charged £3 for postage

Ticketmaster app review can be annoying

When the app works it’s works well but the issue with viewing your tickets in the iOS app not always working and more often than not being shown a second login screen is extremely annoying and frustrating
I did speak with the help desk via email and was told it’s a security feature, yeah right , even though IMO it’s a bug and since other users report the same issue it needs fixing as it’s been reported for several months now

This app is so frustrating. The main thing I want to do is be able to view my tickets on it. Every time I try and do that (in the ‘My Events’ section) it asks me to log in to that section within the app (even though the ‘My Account’ section tells me I’m already logged in), then it just hangs.
It doesn’t seem to allow my phone to remember my password either so I’m logging in afresh each time.
It’s winding me up so much I’d avoid buying through Ticketmaster again I had to use this app all the time.

The ‘My Events’ section on this app requires you to sign in separately despite already being signed into the app. Once details are entered, this part of the app appears to crash, and event tickets cannot be accessed. I’ve seen that other customers have had this problem, and many people are set to be missing out on going to events they’ve paid to attend as they cannot access their tickets.

My address is NOT compatible, takes me all the way through to payment, then kicks me out saying error on address line 1 or line 2.
I’m putting my postcode in, use the drop down menu to select my “flat position” from Ticketmaster app AND THE SAME WITH WEBPAGE! And it doesn’t recognise it 🤬

You find the event you want, you sit and wait for the timer to tick down and the tickets to go on sale. The screen comes up telling you that you are 1 billionth in the queue. Time passes and you slowly move forward, you are then told you are even further back in the queue than you were 20 minutes ago. You finally get to the front of the queue and are told to select how many you want. When you do you are then taken to a screen that says they couldn’t find any tickets, would you like to try again. What it really means is we sold out 2 minutes after the tickets went on sale but thought it’d be funny to see how long we can get thousands of people to watch a loading bar for no reason.

For an app to buy tickets, it never lets me buy any. If it even takes me to the checkout (which it only does 10% of the time), when I select my address from the drop down box it then tells me I haven’t given my address and goes back to the homepage. Once I manage to buy a ticket, usually from the equally frustrating website, I can view them on the app. For the promised functionality, however, it’s very poor. If it weren’t for being the sole provider for some events, I would always go elsewhere.

Does not allow ApplePay which would solve the issues I had with checkout. I entered the card details in correctly only for the form submission to fail. I worked out the address lookup result whh hi ouch you pick from the postcode search did not populate the address correctly in the form.
Really there should be no need for Ticketmaster to even require your card details if you don’t want to provide them.
Hurry up and support Apple Pay so people don’t have to provide yet another website with our account details.

It’s incredibly frustrating - that on numerous attempts to purchase tickets - every time it leaves the ticketmaster site - to verify my credit card - problems occur. I received two texts with different verification numbers. It took me x6 attempts to purchase tickets. I previously lost out on on-demand tickets when despite having them in my basket x3 times - they sold out as it kept stalling at the card verification stage.

This app is fantastic. It is so quick and very easy to use. The customer service option on it is brilliant also. I accidentally order 2 sets of tickets because I got an error when I ordered the first 2 tickets (don’t worry this doesn’t happen all the time trust me I know I order all the time). I contacted them through the help section and within a week they had sorted the problem out. I sent the tickets back (yes I did receive them extremely quickly which is also brilliant) and they refunded me my money. It is not automated it is an actually person who speaks to you to get the problem sorted. Brilliant App but even more so a brilliant company that doesn’t rip you off!

No Apple Pay? Can’t even scan a card to add details. No improvement or benefit to having the app for checkout over the mobile website.
Also needs search improvements to search for different locations over specific dates not just all events or only most recent events.
Two major issues IMO, but storing tickets and using them at events has worked well. And fast to search for tickets within events.

Very straight forward, easy and gives enough time to the customer to choose suitable options. Choosing according to map is essential as it gives the customer a clear view of their seat location. I like ticketmaster as tickets are always delivered on time.

What’s important to me is being able to see the venue seating plan. These were either non existent or diabolical. I want to be able to choose my seats not be allocated what they consider to be the best, as quite often these are NOT the best available.
Also, I couldn’t search for specific categories which is annoying, especially when I wanted kids events.
Then I tried a “what’s near me” search to be informed there were 100 events but it failed to show me what these were. Upon minimising the map and clicking on ticket logos I was shown the nearest event was 200 miles away!!! Not exactly near me and I know this wasn’t accurate.
The only thing the app was useful for was seeing what events I had already purchased tickets for and this isn’t a good enough reason to take up space on my home screen.
As soon as I’ve left this review, app will be deleted.

Terrible app! Countdown on app to general sale then when on sale can’t get tickets ever! Yet I went to website & it put me in a queue by which time tickets were sold out when I got to front of queue! Should have initially went on website & would have got tickets instead of trying on this waste of space app!!

I tried using the app as an alternative for the website. For most events it just send you to the website version, which makes the app pointless.
Also, when I clicked on ‘upcoming’ and found an event that didnt send me off to the website, it could only search for same-day tickets.
This was finally topped off by lots of glitches when I searched for keywords. A poor experience.
Overall, I’d prefer using the website, but I’d rather find an alternative with a good functioning app.

App seems to be easier to book tickets compared to website but there seems to be no option to redeem gift vouchers. Very frustrating as I need to gamble that tickets will still available when website finally catches up or buy tickets and hope I have something else I want to spend vouchers on before they expire.
I like having the app to see my upcoming events. In fact very useful app. Voucher redemption is only downfall I see.

This app is amazing and so much faster than the website. I managed to get 3 tickets to BTS Love yourself tour as soon as they went on sale. We had 11 devices. 10 of which were on the website and then the app on my phone. My phone was the only one that loaded with the tickets! Definitely get the app if you are wanting to get tickets for high in demand tickets.

Managed to NEARLY get my hands on some tickets (very good seats!) as soon as they went on sale. However it all went downhill when it came to the payment.... even though all my payment details were correct, it kept coming up with different error messages and then the tickets were just removed from my basket!!
I had to search again and although I managed to buy some tickets in the end (awful seats) I am fuming as I can't understand why the same saved card worked 10 minutes later without changing any of the details!

Attempted to buy Peter Kay tickets. Found a pair very quickly as soon as the sale started. Added them to the basket. Proceeded to checkout. Was asked to add a payment card. Filled in the form. Pressed save. Waited. Received error message that it couldn’t save the details. Tried again. And again. And again. And again. Finally it accepted the details but then said I already had that card saved. Went back to basket. Told me to add a card!!! Lost the tickets as it took so long faffing about with payment details. I never found another pair of tickets. Not impressed at all ticketmaster!!😡

The app itself is easy to use
The service from Ticketmaster is the inconsistent, buggy experience we know and love.
I had a whole evening where it would not process my card payment. Next morning worked just fine.
For high traffic events like concerts it hangs up and crashes the same as the website. If ever there was an experience that could be improved buying concert tickets is it.

New to the app, downloaded it and signed in to buy tickets as soon as they went on sale, so easy and so quick, my computer was still buffering and I'd already gone through the whole process from start to finish on the app, so much better than the website, will definitely use the app again next time I want to order tickets

Unable to access tickets in app

The process of buying tickets in the app is smooth however you are not able to access your tickets through the app. Even selecting "TicketFast" delivery means you still have to go to print out tickets with no ability to show your barcodes in app - a feature that several other ticketing companies with apps now offer. As a customer the lack of this feature is a serous drawback to using Ticketmaster.
