Cost Split helps you share costs within a group of people where each person can add expenses from their own devices thanks to the cloud sync.

It is perfect on vacations, road trips, a night on the town or in a household where you share the costs. Just define a group of people, add expenses as you go and when you are ready to settle the debts, you can e-mail a report with a list of all expenses and who should pay what to whom.
You can choose to store the data online, so all your friends can view and add costs themselves. Thanks to the currency and offline support, it works perfect when you are on a trip abroad with limited internet access.

Wonder App ! User Interface need updating !
Nice app ! I am using it few years . User friendly and easy to manage . Problem solved when we split money between friends. User interface is old fashioned, need updating. Will recommend to friends.

Awesome App. Love it.
Works well for listing shared expenses, like when you’re traveling with a friend on a trip. It saves having to use a kitty and has really good features. Beware, you’ll 100% need the upgrade 0.99p after just 5 transactions, but it’s well worth it.

Brilliant - saves friendships!
A gem of an app. Really easy to enter and allocate costs (it allows weighting for couples etc.) and generates a clear, easy-to-understand report. Used it on a holiday with friends and it saved us so much angst. Won't go anywhere without it in future. Well done!

I love it!
Love it, if you are on a group holiday and have friends you need this. Only thing missing is ability to filter costs by person so you can easily check your own. Worth the cost, would have paid more it's that good.

Great app for road trips
My girlfriend and I downloaded the app at the start of a 3 month long trip through Morocco, the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. The ease and ability of logging and tracking our expenses across currencies removed a lot of the stress of who paid for what. Along with Google Maps, it was probably the most useful app we took away with us. Super clean UI, really intuitive and functional. Have already got a few other friends onto using it.

Improvement request
Great app! Even bought the full version. Great to share the households. One improvement request though if possible. We make monthly transactions also to have an idea of monthly expenses. At the end of the month, we need to delete all the transactions one by one which makes the process really cumbersome. I was wondering if there could be developed an easier way to do it like grouping transactions under one name and then removing the main folder removes all the transactions related to it something along those lines? Would be much appreciated! Thanks!!

Only 5 expenses input allowed
The app itself is ok, work fine and all. The problem is that it only allows for 5 expenses to be imputed and shared before it asks you to pay 99cents if you want to add anymore. The worst thing is that there is no warning of this before downloading the app, it tricks you in to imputing your data in and then you are forced to pay or lose it all... Cheating people is bad for business.

Brilliant App
This app is fantastic. I regularly meet friends for coffee and tennis and we take it in turns to pay. This app not only tells us who should pay next but takes into account who's there. So if someone is away a lot they only pay the proportion for when they're there. Brilliant.

Very good
There are 4 of us on holiday. Two don't have cash in the appropriate currency so pay for meals by card, the others pay cash. Without the app we would be in a real mess; managing expenses this way means we no longer spend 20 minutes post meal working out who owes what.

Too good for the price
I have used many cost split apps so far and this one is by far the best in my opinion. I like everything bout this app: the price (so cheap compared to other paid apps, only £0.79), user interface, design, how it has different currencies for expenses (been living in different countries, this is what I like the most), how u can take pics for each transaction as proof and reminder, how it scales the expenses among payers rather than just equally splits (another fantastic function that other apps don't have), etc. On the other hand, these fantastic functions may cause confusion for users who are not good with money calculations and stuff; so one down side of it. But being an accountant myself, I find the 'complication part' of the app extremely handy and easy to use. My HG!

Fantastic app!
Perfect app for keeping tabs of spending in a group. I recently spent 2.5 weeks on a road trip with a group of 6 friends and this app was exactly what we needed. Helps you keep a tally of who spends what, even if not all of you take part in an activity. Also handles couples by their weighting feature. Be warned though - this gamifies spending! Everyone wanted to pick up the next tab so they weren't owing the most. V dangerous, but love the app.

One of my absolute favourites
I love this app. Simple, easy to use, nicely designed. I’ve used it to record costs and to work out shared expenses on several trips, across a number of currencies. It works like a charm. So much easier than trying to keep paper records and then work out the maths.

Great little app
Does exactly what it says on the tin: easy to use interface and has exactly the features I need to work out who needs to pay what for shared costs. Used it on a holiday, and am thinking about using it for house expenses.
