I love it
It’s so therapeutic to do. I love the designs and finding cool colour combos. I don’t feel I’ve even touched the surface of what this can do. I wouldn’t normally pay this much for an app but it’s honestly worth it.

Perfect app for what I need, but
When I save an extremely important design and go to reload it to carry on with it, it saves it in an absolute mess and is beyond saving or fixing, extremely disappointed as this has been an ongoing problem since I first used this app, in the hopes of an update to sort this there has been nothing, if anything it’s got a lot worse. There’s not much point in the app if I can’t keep a work in progress.

It’s great...when you know how!
Great app but the User Interface is not. It is not an easy app to get to grips with. Working out how to actually use it and change settings is really hard. Used it for 2 hours solid and still needed to keep clicking the Tips button (and still didn’t fully understand how to do it all).

Fantastic tool for creative minds - worthy of 100 stars!
This is a truly amazing app worthy of 100 stars. The possibilities are endless and this is brilliant for people who hate to be without some kind of creative outlet while away from home without cameras or painting materials. I cannot recommend it enough and would go for the pro version straight away. I thought I had an issue with getting the pro version to work on my iPhone but it was my own lack of knowledge - not the app, that was a fault. I apologise unreservedly for originally giving this less than 5 stars. The developer has used his skill and knowledge to create something special that costs very little for us users. This app is perfection. Thank you.

One of the best drawing apps
I love this app! I’m not a good artist but this app allows me to create intricate designs, which I use both at home and at school. I’ve used the app with school kids from 5 up to 11 and at each age group kids are able to create stunning works of art. It’s easy to use, great to explain symmetry, tessellation, reflection etc. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend iOrnament to anyone who enjoys drawing or calligraphy at any level, from the casual hobbyist to the professional working at the highest level. iOrnament is an incredibly powerful and sophisticated app for anyone interested in symmetry, pattern or ornament in art and design. The calligraphy tools are also some of the best currently available.

It is a great app but it is a real shame you can't upload a photo into the document to use as a background or use as part of your symmetry setting.
Additionally it would be good if it could select colours on document to the draw with, like you can on Procreate app.

Great Program
I was hesitant to buy this program as I wasn't sure it was for me. I was so glad I did and I intend to buy the single 'in-app' upgrade. The developer is very quick to answer emails too. This is great for both making patterns when you don't want to be bothered thinking too much; and also when wanting to do something more complicated. The permutations seem to be never ending. Recommended without a doubt.

Very good app
Very entertaining. Really easy to make extremely intricate patterns. The extra features are really worth the money and the latest update has added some fantastic features. The ability to export a single tile is so useful for creating complex custom patterns when imported into Photoshop.

Simply wonderful!
I love the work of Escher, and also work in 3D so this is not only just great fun, but also very useful in producing tiling textures for use on 3D models - fabric prints, weaves, chain link fences, anything that has a repeating pattern. Easy to use too, and did I mention how much fun it is! Highly recommended.

This is great. Exept 1, I can only save 12 patterns. 2, the bacground is black as they save as jpg. Can we have more space to save, and the option to export as png so that only the pattern is taken, please. otherwise VERY good !
