I can’t access the issues I’ve paid for as the app asks me to sign into my Apple account but provides no way of doing so. Needless to say that my emails to Pocketmags have gone unanswered so I’ve cancelled my subscription.

This is a free app download. Within the app users can purchase the current issue and back issues.
Subscriptions are also available within the application. A subscription will start from the latest issue.
Available subscriptions are:
12 months: £37.99 / $38.99 / €42.99 (12 issues)
1 month: £3.99 / $3.99 / €4.49 (1 issue)
-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for the product.
-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.
-Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription to that publication is purchased.
-If a subscription offers a free trial, at the end of the trial period, you will be charged the full price of the subscription. You may cancel a subscription during its free trial period via the subscription settings on your iTunes account. This must be done 24 hours before the end of the subscription period to avoid being charged.
Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.
We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area so that all issue data is retrieved.
If your app will not load past the splash page after a first install or an update, please delete and reinstall the app from the App Store

In need of help
Has anyone yet had any joy in downloading this new app without totally losing all their old copies? Is my only option to cancel my on line subscription and start buying a hard copy every month again?

The worst ‘upgrade’ in history
The new version of Uncut is a complete train smash. Don’t even think about upgrading if you haven’t already! None of my past purchases through iTunes will restore and cant open anything. Total ineptitude.

Do not under any circumstance update. Spent hundreds of pounds over years (at least) and all under threat. Cannot find word to express anger and disgust (I can, but can’t print it). I echo what everyone else has said. Even if you don’t care about ripping off customers. At least realise that this is the end if not resolved. Nobody is foolish enough to fall for this twice.

Doesn’t seem to work on iPad or iPhone ... hope you’re getting a fix ? Going round in circles with pocketmags , keep telling me to reinstall .... it doesn’t work how many more times do I need to tell you ? Are you going to refund all the issues I’ve bought ?

Does not restore !
This new app does not restore previous purchases made via iTunes. Deeply disappointed! Sort it out please!

App crashes the App Store until reboot
After installing I was unable to update any apps on my IPad and the App Store says this app isn’t installed. The only way to resolve is to reboot my IPad. The App Store will then work again until the app is opened. I have tested this several times to confirm that it’s not a coincidence.

Doesn’t work
Can’t sign in to access my subscription.
Instructions/user help is vague and difficult to fathom. Badly needs sorting before the old app is deactivated.

Have lost my previous purchases using the new uncut app. Before you close down the old app why doesn’t uncut sort out the garbage which is its new app.

Have been a subscriber for over 8 years. With this App I cannot read previous editions. App does not restore. Have followed advice received from help desk and still not restoring. Please fix

This new app just won’t load properly, I do currently subscribe via iTunes and it won’t work. Please sort this out. I have just tried again and the editions will still not restore.....
