The add credit card function seems to been bugging for over a month now. Tried with several cards and it always says “invalid card details” pls fix this.

Cash is more reliable
Taxi drivers don’t like it as it gives them less and delayed money so will favour cash instead. Took me 22mins to get my taxi instead of 8 which it said on the app and the driver just blatantly told me it was because of that reason.

Never had any problems with the app before until about 2 weeks ago when I had to delete and then re download the app. Ever since it hasn’t let me add my card details to the wallet section and it tells me my details are invalid (which they aren’t as i’ve contacted my bank and have no troubles using my card for any other online or in store purchases) and the whole reason I use the app is for quick and easy card payments... which I can now no longer make. I also asked my Mum to try and add her card to confirm if the problem was with my particular card, but she was told her details were ‘invalid’ too

Always getting an object reference error so unable to book anything on it. I end up using Uber instead

What you need to know before using this!
FIRSTLY, If you’re booking a cab during busy times it will often tell you ‘5-6 mins’- this is untrue, it appears to be done purposely to convince you to book through them instead of a competitor, this is confirmed by calling up and speaking to their operators and being told ‘it’s never correct, busy times are usually 20-30 minutes wait at least’. I’ve personally waited for an hour before and there’s a reason why in next point.... The drivers do not like the app where the payment is selected as ‘card payment’ through the app, this has been confirmed with numerous drivers I’ve spoken to throughout the year, I’m told the management of Aqua sit on all the money from card transactions to ‘earn interest’ and the drivers have to “wait 2 weeks to get paid on card jobs”, so they don’t want it, here’s the kicker though because some will take your job then cancel it but it means the driver cannot pick up another job for a period of time SO what they now do is pick up the job and not move from where they are, you’re watching the tracking and car is stationary for 5-10 minutes forcing you to cancel the job and rebook which means the driver isn’t penalised and you’re late for where ever you need to be... drivers and staff are actually polite and nice and always helpful, the unfair ethics of the management and how they have set this app up is terrible and it’s the customer that loses out.

Today Around 5 am I booked an taxi. I came out from work from a night shift waiting in the cold and rain for my taxi... my taxi woudn t arrive .. my eyes went long like an snail looking around to see my taxi :)) I called the operator and told me to wait as I am in the queue.. is bad weather everybody booked a taxi. I remind the operator that I booked the taxi few hours before. Also I m a regular costumer and spend lots of money for taxi. Told him that I am waiting in the cold rain , I am pregnant , I m having a flu and I am after a night shift..... He told me to wait 20 min. Ok I wait I wait.. I went to take the bus, I saw the buses were coming going , but my taxi never. I arrived home after an hour traveling. When I entered in my house the taxi driver was calling me :))) upps I forgot to cancel the taxi. The good part is that the bus was cheaper only 2.30 £... and faster !

Cannot calculate fare correctly
last Thursday I booked a 6 seater in order to travel to my Christmas due in Chichester on Saturday the 1st of December at 20:10 and I got a confirmation that the taxi was booked and it would cost me £30.
On Saturday at 20:05 in my tracker I saw that the taxi was cancelled. I immediately call the operator and he told me that the app calculated the fare incorrectly and that was why it was cancelled. Upon telling the operator that it was not my fault he told me that I had to pay £60 in I wanted a taxi, otherwise, it would take about 30-60 minutes to try to sort out my problem and I ended up having to pay the £60 in order to not lose my booking at the restaurant.
if your app cannot calculate the correct fare, it should not be alive as that is one of the most important features!!

Fantastic App! Easy to book, pays from bank automatically after you arrive. GPS tracking! Everything you need.

Great app!
This is much better than phoning the call centre... it tells you when you have been assigned a car when it has arrived as well as sending you a text. The app is so easy to use. I've booked taxis in advance and current taxis both worked perfectly. I also feel I get a taxi quicker than normal and the driver knows exactly where I'm going on his map without asking me. I would highly recommend this app to all aqua car users!!!

Great app , I was using uber but this app is so much easier . Lets me choose if I want to pay cash or card .And very very cheap,gives me more money to spend on nights out

Do not pre book a taxi with this app
Pre booked a taxi to get me to a very important event with plenty of time to spare. The time came and went, no taxi. Apparently it doesn't register your booking until the time you have booked for. So at rush hour time my taxi finally arrived 55 minutes later than the booked time. Was advised I should have phoned to book so pointless app!

Be aware if using app and booking a return airport journey - only gives option to pay cash. I paid driver on way to airport but on return no taxi! Called them and told must be paid upfront!! App needs changing.

Waste of effort, just phone them
This app is completely useless. You can only search a nearby location and if it's not on google maps (like my house) then you can't select it, and if you pick a name out of your phonebook, it estimates it (Brandon Court becomes Brandon Road) and the taxi goes to completely the wrong place. And why isn't the bloody train station down as a point of interest??? It's more likely I'm going to want to go to the train station than the 'lemon tree cafe on platform 1' which - incidentally - has been shut down.
Only redeeming feature is that if you go to Information and click the phone button, it calls the office and you can get a taxi the old fashioned way.
Don't download the app, just call 02392 666666 and stop wasting your life.

Brilliant
I have found everytime I use this app, the taxi turns up quicker than ringing, even during busy periods. It has glitches like anything else, but overall, brill! I love the tracking system also, really helpful.

Searches don't work.
This app is a great idea and I would use if it worked. Searches are useless. Can't even find a pub such as the manor in Drayton. Had to resort to phoning them to ensure a reliable journey.

Good little app
I like using this app, it's good to be able to track the car when it's driving to come to get you and it's good that you can save destinations. It does take a while to refresh though.

Was very good
Been using this app for a few months and it has worked well for me. Very useful. But lately it has been problematic and throwing up error messages (unable to make booking phone the office) If this continues I shall delete it!

Works as desired but lacks polish
Didn't use all the functionality available (tracking the car), but ordered a taxi using the location services and where it was slightly out, had the ability to overwrite the estimated address (that's a plus!).
UI is slightly clunky with changing the order time and the address finder slightly off - but the cabbie asks where you're going anyway, so the lack of accuracy of the destination seems academic.
Overall a useful app which could do with some more testing before another update.

Takes the chore out of phoning a call centre for booking your taxi (and please ignore miss "it's taxis not taxi's" below)!
Brilliant tracking system to see where your cab is and how long it'll be.
Stops you needing to walk out a busy pub or bar to hear a telephonist.
If you live in Porstmouth, Gosport, Fareham or Waterlooville you need this app!!!!

Rubbish
Sad to report, as the concept is great, but this app does not work.
Simply try to find Fratton railway station, or indeed anything else, and it just fails miserably. I've tried so many times and just give up.
EVERY time it's just quicker and easier to telephone them (which make this app
Pointless).
Have reported all the faults many times, and nothing has changed.
What a shame those that spend so much on an app, never actually test it!

Great app
Easy to use and works perfectly. All the lines were dead so I thought I was gonna give a try. 3 min later the cab arrived. I was also able to track the cab, so I got up to date info. I will definitely use this app in the future again.

Excellent!
Great app and very easy to use. No need to talk to operator just book via your smartphone. You can store favourite locations and destinations. Ability to order taxi for ASAP or in advance. Also there Is a comments box for any further instructions you may want to leave. You get a job number, the car number and registration and can track the car via GPS. A quality app from Portsmouths' finest.

Great app and very easy. A wait time indicator would be great when there is a delay. Shame it doesn't always work and is let down by technology. If it worked 100% of the time, I'd give it 5 stars.
