I used to love playing this game but recently I’ve had my account suspended and I haven’t been given a reason, which means my winnings are being added to the league.

Had this game for years and played on and off.

Started again a couple days ago. I’ll play one game against a real player and then I’ll cheats after and lose instantly without getting a shot.

They don’t take any time to line up a shot, hitting ridiculous wall shots at times without any time taken, and the game is over in around 15 seconds or so. It’s absurd. I thought once, fair enough, maybe they’re just that good at a high level, but it happens almost every other game. This has completely ruined the game for me, it’s not a game anymore

Some pockets don't let the ball drop, pointless having a timer on cues, players with low timers get just as much time as a cue with 8+ timer, obviously riddled with cheats, players with huge coin balances but hardly any games played in the higher ranked matches in order to achieve such bank balances (vast majority i’ve seen are Indian based players) that or it’s cheaper to buy stuff from there than here in Europe

So, about a year ago I paid £6.99 for a few perks and then contacted them to cancel any form of subscription. Two weeks ago I found out I had been charged £6.99 WEEKLY for the last year!!!! I’ve contacted them to be refunded and have been ignored, given no support or help and made to feel completely lost. I’m looking into taking legal action currently. I’m a decent player at this game and win more than I lose. However, since this issue began I’ve been 7/8 balled (whichever way you look at it) more times in a week than I have since I started playing years ago. It’s a corrupt game that will rob you of your money. Unless you spend frivolously then don’t expect to win much. Please read this and be aware.

If I could change anything about the game I wouldn’t change a single thing. Great Game. Fair Play. The game itself is great to play. It looks awesome and plays really well. However it is so heavily rigged that it takes all of the fun out of playing it. The ‘game’ will decide who it wants to win, then the opponent will struggle with even the simplest of shots. The bad or good ‘luck’ you will experience in some games is ridiculous. I have made complex, multiple cushion bank shots that I couldn’t possibly have known if they’d go in. I have also missed simple bank shots and even straight shots that should never have missed.

It’s a shame, because this game would be amazing if it worked on pure skill.

When this game first came out I loved it. However it now has three major flaws.

1. Mathematically impossible shots can be achieved on the table. There’s no realism to it at all. Ask yourself this! If the white ball is firmly placed against a cushion then how easy is it to reach the bottom of the white ball to perform a screw back shot? Fortunately the question is rhetorical because we all know it’s impossible. Yet magically it’s perfectly possible in this game!!!

2. As usual the game has been totally spoiled by cheaters. Obviously these people are clearly incapable of winning through skill and luck. It’s sad that the developers have not been able to control the level of cheating in the game. More impossible shots that even professionals couldn’t pull off!

3. Money, money, money!!!! Don’t get me wrong I know that we live in a capitalist world but to be bombarded with expensive cues and ‘break your piggy bank now or keep filling it’ is just ridiculous! Why the hell would anyone be persuaded to pay to break the piggy bank early! Yet there are people that would be persuaded and these people are being ripped off.

So overall this has turned out to be a big disappointment and just another game exploited by greed and low life cheaters.

This game was great and I have played it for years but today I’ve lost hundreds of millions playing cheater after cheater in Mumbai (the 30 million game) . I knew there were hackers here and there but 3 out of every 4 games I’ve played today have all been against cheaters, all from Pakistan (for some reason 🤷), and they play the most ridiculous multi-bank shots, one after the other, not even subtly hiding the fact they’re full-on stealing from me. Pathetic people with bad morals. It disgusts me. So with my last 100 million left in the bank and having reached level 224 with a 60.2% win rate - I will be deleting this app today never to play again. Ugh the time I have wasted… 🤦‍♂️.

I hope the devs do something to fix this for the new players that join who are unaware of the crap they’re working up towards when they start playing the higher winning games like Mumbai and Berlin.

The game at this point is ruined by the cheaters, there are simply too many of them now for it to be enjoyable anymore. If you’re considering playing this game, please for the love of god do NOT pay for anything in the game using your real cash as you will be wasting your money, guaranteed. This is not a fair game and I do not recommend it. Shame on the cheaters and shame on miniclip for letting it get this bad. For any half decent pool players, don’t play this game. There is no skill or tactics involved. Whether you play 8 ball or 9 ball, you’ll lose 75% of your games from people just smashing and hoping for the best. Fluking is far too regular and takes away any kind of fun. If you just want a bit of amateur fun, then great! But all the in app purchases like suprise boxes, coins, piggy bank etc just aren’t tempting enough as you will lose the value of what you buy from flukes! I still play for fun, but I lost 4 x 10 million coins in a row on my last session. The last player I played was a level 11 amateur who picked out a lovely 7 cushion escape to hit the 2 ball for it to cannon off the 5 ball which subsequently cut the 9 ball at a 91 degree angle up the rail to pot for the win. I was in awe! Why didn’t I see that shot?? Maybe I’m not as good as I thought I was … hmm. Might take up cricket instead …. I give this game a solid 0.5 out of 10 and that’s purely because I like the party horn blowing emoji which is a regular feature of players arsenal to put you off! Hilarious!!! I particularly like the name of the new event - grand heist, because that’s exactly what the creators of this gaming are doing! Heisting money! For anyone currently in anger management - avoid! I used to love this App, the interface was seamless, the action smooth and the games challenging. Now, sadly I’m getting a bit tired, if not bored. Not of the game itself, but the endless attempts to get me to part with my money. It used to be that the POOL PASS season was occasional. It gave me something to look forward to and I enjoyed participating. That was before someone decided to make the POOL PASS seasons continuous. It seems now, one ends and another starts immediately on the back of it. Sometimes the season ends prematurely, WITHOUT warning and everything you were building towards has ended, but with no chance of transferring your progress to the next POOL PASS competition.

It’s getting tired, boring and this can be seen by the number of players who actually take part in the end of POOL PASS cup competition. Tedious. I don’t bother taking part in the POOL PASS seasons now. At the moment it’s The Day Of The Dead season - can’t be bothered. Stop it! Let’s have a break before you start losing all your loyal players.

Update Oct’22 - Nearly every other game I play has players with seemingly impossible scorecards. Their coin levels simply don’t match their number of games played, obviously hack cheats!! Until that is corrected, I cannot give you a positive review.

Update Jan 2022 - for the second time, the game is no longer giving me the free daily cash. Last time it stopped for about 3 months. After playing more than 20k games I’ve gained 12 legendary cues, that’s supposedly up to 72% coin return after a loss. That’s farcical and incorrect. There’s many annoying and deceitful tactics in this app.

Update- the game is no longer giving the daily free cash for the last month. Downgraded to one star. I’ve played the free game for a few months now. It crashes too often, I’ve lost big sometimes when that happens. Everything about the game is designed to force you to pay if you want to progress to higher levels. I am convinced it’s a scam because on occasions I’ve missed the pot when I absolutely know I had it lined up correctly. The ads that you have to watch for the daily gifts often freeze the game. Like I said the game is ok for fun if you like pool but I don’t see the worth in spending money on this game.

Level 96 and consider myself a half decent player. But the game takes away your skill when down to last ball or black. Always snookered or in off. Can be on a run of wins game after game then a run of losses game after game. Even though I use the same break every game the more you bet the worse your break is apparently. Ive been down to no coins and built back up to 2 million but this game makes it hard as the positional play is as it feels at the time. Screw back is either a full on screw back da into a pocket or follow in into a pocket. So frustrating. So irregular. So predictable at times. You know your winning but know this next shot is gonna be put in jeopardy by the computer. If you have patience of a saint then enjoy. Having lost 240 million coins TODAY ALONE to the Cheto Hack, I want to describe at some length my recent experience of the decline of Miniclip's 8 Ball Pool. My rating is currently 434, and, over the last three years or so, I have accumulated more than 20,000 million in-game coins. I used to set myself a daily target of winning at least 100 million coins more than I lost. I achieved this target not every day, but most days. I was serious about increasing my rating to as high as I possibly could. The Cheto Hack isn’t something new, of course. I first experienced it more than a year ago, but only infrequently then. Now, however, the Cheto Hack is so prevalent that the game is effectively ruined. For example, seven of the first eight games I played today were against the Cheto Hack. And instead of winning on average 100 million coins a day, I have played now for two months without ever being ahead ON ANY SINGLE DAY IN THAT PERIOD. I won’t ever spend another penny on Miniclip products. It is clear to me that either they are completely impotent at tackling the hackers, or, worse, they choose not to do so. Which is it, Miniclip?

i’ve been playing this game for years, i love it! but i have one issue that really irks me, u aren’t necessarily placed against someone in your league. it isn’t much of an issue, but being level 48 and constantly going up against people level 100+ (even played against level 487 once!) is really annoying because my win % and money is just going down…

i’m sure those im against have no issue (who would have one playing against someone more than 3x lower level than you) but it’s really starting to stress me out. i have ASD and the constant frustration of being against people i have little to no chance of beating, is really making me hate this game.

i get that sometimes there isn’t anyone, at that moment of time, in your league to play against, but i play against people level 100+ over double the amount of times i’ve played against those in my own level league. i tried to find a feedback section in the game but couldn’t so i’m writing it here.

please do something to fix this, because it’s not remotely fair and is extremely frustrating.

I have played maaaaany games in my time and this game is by far the worst for rigging the game so paying customers win. What is the point in playing!? You make it impossible by making us play against high ranking players and the games are rigged so that even when you KNOW you have made a clean shot the ball moves in a way that means you miss, when you have played the same shot hundreds of times and know how it plays out. Some of it is my own mistake and I am happy to admit that but this game does not play fair and there are plenty of other reviews that all say the same. I wanted to give this game the benefit of the doubt but I have to admit to feeling the same as others that this game cheats and makes it unenjoyable to play, why would waste my time on it. Really fun realistic pool game but I will stop playing soon due to the bots they pair you up against. I don’t mind playing bots if they are realistic. However the amount of games I have played where the bot is so obvious, it’s basically cheating the consumer out of coins. I’m talking about the bot literally not aiming the shots, hitting random cushions and the ball going on off multiple cushions, ricochets and anything else you can think off. It’s now got to the point where I just quit the game straight away as I already know I’ve lost. So question to Miniclip. What’s with the obvious cheating going on? Robbing people of their coins when it’s already designed to make you lose. I have video recordings of the bots in action and it’s glaringly obvious. Going to stop playing if this persists and I will post the videos to my large social media following to stop people paying for your games.

Yet, there are no levels or special events that relate to The Philippines, one of the biggest pool playing nations in the world, a country that has some of the most accomplished billiard players and World Pool Champions. Why is that!? This is especially disappointing considering there are so many players from the Philippines that log onto this app every single day. Fix up 8BallPool creators.

Secondly, I’ve just seen that this game has excluded Moscow as one of its main tiers/levels presumably because of the current invasion. Replacing it with Lisbon. Again, a national exclusion. How can you cancel out Moscow when it’s not the fault of the Russian people but of their moronic, murderous leader.

8BallPool… you need to be much more aware of your sense of inclusion. It’s disappointing. Put a tier representing the Philippines on here as soon as possible, please.

Been playing this game for years! Games come & games go but this game has hung in there longer than any other game I've installed EVER!

Obviously the whole thing is designed to generate profit for miniclip but as a small business owner myself I have no problem with this!

I've noticed over the years the money making element become more & more apparent as various features, the ability to unlock certain options & the endless amount of purchases available have all got a cost attached to them while the freebie's get smaller & smaller, even so, you don't have to purchase anything, you can still play/enjoy this game without spending a penny!

I'd like to be able to make more in game purchases using game cash.... I'd probably buy golden shot mini games if I could purchase with game cash!

Iv been playing this game for many years now, it’s probably one of the best pool/snooker game on the internet/apps. But the game needs to come with a warning, a little heads up, something to tell you that you will end up sitting at this game for over 3 hours if you play it.

It is soo much fun, the fact that there’s always new leagues tournaments every week or so and the new chat updates with friends; they are all great features along with learning to play pool (on the phone, of course). All the anticipation to win a game with less change over and just potting the black ball, it’s such a fun game. Started playing in my teens and now I’m well into my kid/late twenties.

Only downfall is, it didn’t teach me to play pool in real life coz the cues are actually very awkward to hold, or I’m just gonna forever hold it wrong and never play. It’s alright, iv got 8 ball pool to still keep me liking the sport/game.

Since mine updated to 5.5.2 it has become virtually unplayable because of the constant hanging. When you select a city and seek an opponent it will take your entry fee and sit there for up to 5 minutes doing absolutely nothing and often you and your opponent will use your entry fee. When I have been allocated an opponent they have often made the break and are on their second shot before I see the table. Played a game today that took nearly 15 minutes to complete as the game would hang after every shot. There’s nothing slow about my internet connection and I never used to have problems, since the update either my opponent’s connection or mine shows as waiting due to slow connection. This used to be a fun quick game, now it’s not worth the trouble and will be getting deleted if an update to fix this update doesn’t appear very soon.

Your prices are way too high. For only a million coins it cost £99. I went on a website and got 1 billion coins for £6, that’s right 1 billion for only SIX quid. Fix your prices, whoever is setting those prices obviously doesn’t know anything about business. If you set the prices like I would, 1 billion coins for £10 or even £15 you’d get a lot more people buying from you and make more money than you already are instead of a website from the internet. On the upside it’ll workout for both the people running 8 ball pool and the customers. I’m not really bothered about it as I know a cheaper way of buying coins but it’s always good to mention.

Not a bad game at all. I’ve played loads of times under COVID lockdown and it’s only annoying when you play silly shots. Those who knock the game e.g., saying there are mis-matches etc. obviously don’t full understand the idea of pool (or snooker). It’s not just about potting, its about cue ball control, use of spin and strategy as well as safety play. Potting is relatively easy as there are potting guide lines to make it almost foolproof. The idea of betting from 100 coins on a game, to millions, effectively means that players with similar resources are likely to play each other, although this is not a given. Although you are presented with various offers to spend real cash on additional coins and cues, it’s really not necessary. It’s a game of skill. I can only suggest that those without skill are the ones that will provide a poor review.

Just seeing how the game is structured, I am not leaving it just yet and the possibilities and opportunities for this game are completely shattered when you see how delayed your progress can get whilst trying to enjoy this app. For example, time after time, the game reminds you of its rubbish matchmaking by always putting you in matches with players of a way higher level and skill, and this also favours people who spend money on the game. It becomes so hard to even try to win matches when gaining more trophies is abysmal, annoying and definitely a waste of time when it comes to rewards like chests.

I’ve seen the different transactions and they are all overpriced, you would end up spending loads of money just to get a chance to progress fairly. Rewards like the wheel spin are unfair and you will most of the time end up getting something not worth the time and paying for more of these is a huge risk. It is luck based and paying money for these doesn’t at all increase the chances of getting something decent (for example, giving players better rewards with extra wheel spins and much higher chances of getting something decent).

I would really recommend players to avoid paying for things in the game until the developers make this app fairer, I’m not against micro-transactions but money spent should at least be seen as an advantage and not a gamble for ways to be lucky and progress throughout the game.

Total online gambling methodology, sneaky algorithms and monitoring player spending behaviours, all in an attempt to loot you of your winnings and make you spend more money. I sometimes think I am playing a robot due to glitches in ball behaviour and ridiculous profile pictures which are clearly stock pictures. This game is absolutely appalling. Here are a few things wrong with the game. The white ball constantly goes in the pocket no matter what shot you play. You get constantly snookered. The ball sometimes moves when static for example the opponent is snookered the white ball conveniently moves a fraction so the opponent is not snookered. The pace in the ball changes exspecially if your about to win. If you build up your money expect to lose it rapidly. My advice is to stay away from this game as you will regret it as you will end up spending real money and I’m not even sure what you get out of it apart from a few stupid avatars which I couldn’t give a monkeys about. Very addictive but can be very, very frustrating. The untrue roll of the cue ball is a spoiler, as is getting snookered on the black 92% of the time. Its the same with white ball going in a pocket when using full spin or full power, it does this 99.9% of the time. These are anomalies that really spoil this game. Worth a go but do not spend your hard earned cash on it and, when frustrated just delete it as it can turn a good day into a bad day. Hence all of the above it gets just 2 stars. If those anomalies were sorted the stars would be more.

Also there are to many Robots playing. How can you amass 157 million coins in 157 games. I saw that a week ago when playing. Of course I got hammered, every shot went in with perfect position. If your reading this MINICLIP, then you need to sort out this freaking game man because 1 Frame Shootout is absolutely NOT GOOD enough. When playing a high stakes like Dubai, Shanghai or Paris for example can’t you make it like best of 3-5 etc? So that you don’t lose all your coins all at once and you got an opportunity to make a tight game and potentially win if you take your chances. Also, when you have decent amount of coins, can’t you make Bangkok, Seoul and Mumbai best of 7-9 etc?

After that I discovered that this game is all about money and if you don’t pay you will never progress even if you are the best player in the world. The game is design in way to not let you win always for example in five games in row. This done by making you play again an opponent has twice or triple better level than you or someone very lucky. Even if you have a chance to win against them the game algorithm is developed to enforce you make intentional fault. I always tried to be very careful when hit a ball by making sure that ball will get in a pocket 100% and white ball will not pocket considering all physics aspects. Then you find that the ball is bounce at pocket with out any sense, or you are run out of time or white ball end ups at pocket. Sometimes I have no chance to win but the game make sure to win me and beat the poor opponent lol. Very disappointing when you use all perfect techniques to win a ball and then the decide to beat you. So if you are playing for fun specifically with your friends I will suggest it otherwise look for other games. I definitely don’t recommend this one, so please don’t waste your time and put yourself under extra stress because of stupid rules of this game.

The game is generally good fun but I feel as though I no longer wish to play due to one aspect. When you slide across to the different versions I find the game can open a city for example Vegas even though you were sliding across to select Moscow. Therefore I have no choice but to spend 10,000 coins when in fact I only wanted to spend 500 coins. You then have no option to get out of the matching process as even when you select back it still matches you and starts a game. You then end up losing so many coins which then makes it harder to gain more coins. I feel as though when you want to play a game it should say something like "are you sure you want to play?" As like a safety feature to stop you from losing what could be an extortionate amount of coins. I have also spoken to a number of friends of who play and have found the same problem in particular one friend has given up playing and generally only goes on to collect the daily rewards and play the odd game every now and then. This game is quite addictive and has all it needs to be a successful bit of entertainment but much of the features are rigged e.g. ‘free spin’, which gives you no more than 150 coins. When you’re in a live game, the aim guidelines don’t show the proper trajectory of the cue ball after it hits the coloured ball, thereby increasing the chances of potting in the cue ball as well. Rewards from games claim to be double your initial deposit of coins but in fact, you only gain what you deposited in the first place. You can’t spectate a friend’s match which could be something this game can add in as an extra. When you are broke, the game does nothing to help you back up. You have to play matches yourself to earn back coins. This can be really frustrating. Also in general, prizes are too stingy when playing ‘special games.’ Sometimes when playing ‘9 ball’ and tournaments, you are up against people 50+ levels higher than you which is absurd. The idea of having to charge your cue every fifty shots is stupid, especially when your cue is advanced where you have to pay a big sum.

There’s a few more things that require fixing and improvement but apart from that, the game is good, whether you a new to pool or not.

I have been playing this game for a couple of years now and I built up to 1 Million coins. Then all of a sudden all of my coins disappeared and I was left with only 30K coins!! I am absolutely disgusted by this and definitely wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone! I spent ages building up those coins and coming back to see that they’ve all gone was unacceptable. When I came on the game, it said this is my final warning for transferring coins between accounts but I have never done this!!

Another thing that is awful about this game is how when you click to play a game, it loads too quick and there’s no warning sign. This has happened to me twice now! I once accidentally clicked on Cairo and lost 250K coins. I tried clicking back straight away but it was too late! It’s atrocious how’s there’s no warning sign such as ‘Are you sure you wish to play in this city?’ The game loads too quickly and the next thing you know, you’ve just lost your coins. 8 ball pool really need to sort this out because it’s unacceptable!!

Why does it appear at the right time and covers your phone so you cannot ignore it. It’s really frustrating, it’s my choice when I will spend money. These are techniques that makes them earn excellent revenue. The spin is ridiculous 10/10 the prize is miserable. The old spin few years back was better. Then you should remove the recommendation that comes out when you are playing with someone “x has recently been online, do u want to challenge him”. It’s cover part of the screen and really frustrating as you close one, then more of them comes. Why should I challenge a friend that has been recently online if he is not online at the moment. The game gave us too many advices and not leaving our freedom of choice.

Sometime there is no matchmaking, you are against players that have strong cues and really high on levels. This encourages you to spend money to be at their level. Why do you matchmaking problems MINICLIP if you say the game is played by millions every day?

This god awful game just wants your money. First the ‘all in’ game mode it puts me into games with level 250’s when I’m a level 20 and they absolutely wreck me with their legendary cues. Second the spin and wins are completely rigged. I have probably spun over 50 times and never got over 500 coins from it and they land perfectly in the middle of the tiles. Third you literally have to pay something like 80 quid if you want to get a maximum stat cue and you still have to spend ages upgrading it.

One time I went into a game for 200,000 coins and me and my enemy were both on the black and I hit the ball pretty much straight into the pocket but the ball just stays bouncing from each side like I’m here but I’m not going in and then the enemy just easily pots it in with no trouble. Don’t get me even started about the bugs. One of the main reasons I left this game was the fact that every time it was my go I could put anymore than half the power on my cue and if I went over it would just reset over and over again leaving me to quit all my games.

I have been playing this game for a good few years and love it, but, there is one really annoying feature and that is that when one selects the option to play “one on one” the immediately takes you to a screen which gives you the chance to select how many coins you want to play for. This is where the problem is, because this screen opens up on a higher potential ‘bet’ choice, Accor one the amount of coins you have. Unfortunately on two or three occasions now, I have had to play for 250,000 of my coins because I brushed this screen whilst trying to move to a lesser amount screen. There needs to be a ‘confirmation’ button so you actually agree to playing for the amount as “brushed”. Please, please, sort this out Miniclip as it’s the only one downside of the game. Thanks.

This could be such a great game! It has smooth graphics and a great interface. The only problem is the maker’s want you to spend money and lots of it! Don’t buy the extra’s. They are just not worth your hard earned cash. Where you have to be extra careful is on how much you bet. The default amount is very high and it’s easy to press the wrong amount and like myself on a number of occasion’s you will find yourself gambling half or all your saved coins. Plus the same applies to the carousel on where in the world you will play. Again the default place and amount that needs to be wagered there is always very high and easy to hit and open unintentionally so please be careful. There’s no way to stop proceedings once the match has been opened and your opposition chosen.

Be very mindful of what you press in this game. You can lose all your virtual cash in an instant. This could be resolved in an instant with an ‘are you sure you wish to bet this amount’ question before the game starts. I doubt that will happen though. Addicted players will spend more every time. This could be a great game. But it’s not.

I have madly fallen in love with this game. I think honestly it’s the best game for an adult to play on his phone, tablet etc. I have met some great friends and joined a club, ended up branching off and now I’m the leader of my own club called “Pocket Potters”. I am having so much fun with this game, is replay able and incentivises the player to keep playing via amazing cues and level ups etc. I play with friends all over the world now literally with the online 8ball pool and overall I find what you put in you get out. I would however like to say the cues just building up and up is a wasted opportunity I think? Possibly add in the option for the player to break down cues for coins or cash or both, or break down for a certain new currency used to unlock pieces which the player still needs to find? I just think it’s a waste of progress ending up with so many unused cues. Other than that I have no issues with the game. 8ball pool truly is my new hobby. I’ve spent over £160 happily on extras without having ever a doubt. 8ball pool is a immersive special experience for all types of player. Thanks to the team at miniclip 8ball pool.

The game is great, good fun and I've made a few good friends. The only thing that upsets me is the cheats on the site. Me and my friends work hard in your leagues and build up our coins and spend money buying cash to get nice cues and you get the cheats, loads of them in the country and world leagues that have played half a dozen games and have scored billions or have 110% win% it can't happen not in a game or in real life, it's laughable and it spoils the game big time. So please if you can try and stamp this out it would be great and make it fun again, because they way it is at the moment, it's stopped being fun because you don't have a chance of winning what your playing so hard to win, the country and the world and the tournaments you put on, the same people win them every time, know one has a chance and me and a lot of others are really fed up with it. We stay loyal to the site and spend our hard earned money and have know chance of winning. Thanks

This is a awesome game and I do love it but I’m probably going to delete it. The game spends most of its time "connecting" and I’ve lost games because the timer was still running even though it was connecting and I couldn’t play. It’s not my WiFi as I play Xbox wirelessly from the same room no problem and play other high bandwidth games on my phone it’s general lack of server function and is incredibly frustrating when your trying to play one game and it doesn’t connect and spends minutes after each shot connecting. Why it takes so long for a game which isn’t exactly internet demanding when it a simple game running as about 10 FPS is stupid that is cannot maintain connection. Also looking at other reviews you always ignore those referring to connecting issues and only reply to those bad reviews that sent connection related. Adding on when the game is reconnecting the timer still runs in the background and switches to the other player yet when they are unresponsive and don’t hit the ball and the timer runs out the are able to hit it after and it doesn’t switch to me??

This game is good in parts..but the developers are so greedy it’s obscene! The game it self is ok..but all the developers want is your money! The prices of the cues are ridiculous and they really don’t make much difference..The developers don’t give you much back for nothing..Then there is the notifications..every 5 minutes..someone you played months ago and you foolishly agreed to friend..from the other side of the world is playing..Like so what? And the wheel at the start is fiddled to give you the bare minimum..then they want another £1 to give you nothing much more! The developers must be millionaires 20 times over....and they just want more and more and more! Play the game by all means as it can be fun but don’t spend real money on it! And when you finish the game bang! Within a minute a tedious notification to get you back playing the game..as someone you will never meet is playing..This game drives me mad! But it’s too addictive to delete! And if you switch the notifications you lose benefits.

Love this game it’s really fun and entertaining. Love the fact that you can play with real opponents and it’s not just you vs the computer, also love how you can play offline is well if you can’t connect to the WiFi or if you’d just prefer to. also love how you can play with your friends and family members (on the offline mode) but if you don’t have anyone to play with and you still want to play offline then you can do other mini games which are just as thrilling. Now I will discuss the negative side of the game unfortunately it flukes quite a lot and unfortunately this can cause the outcome of the game to be unfair for example someone could pot a ball and if it hadn’t been fluked it wouldn’t of gone in. Also the game sometimes glitches for example you will pay 100 (just an estimate could be more could be less) and the game glitches so you have to wait a long time before the game actually stars and sometimes it doesn’t start at all and you end up losing your money.

Speaking about both aspects of the game I would still recommend you trying it and preserving for a little while

Where has the free cash video gone??????? Been saving up every day to get my country cue and got to 38 and went to get my free one today and the option has gone????

Now I have 38 which is 2 away from the 40 I need to get it!!!

Game has gone horrible after too many updates and cues gone missing in new version ! Also never seem to get anyone my level to play always about 30 levels above mine and always loose!!

Just played and lost 7 games in a row where I hit a shot and the white just seems to head to the pocket and ball moves in a different way ??? I used to love playing but now I just can’t be arsed as I know I’ll just loose even though I have a good cue after levelling up another 2 times to get it after you took the free cash vid away!

Please please please sort this out as it’s a great game but rubbish rewards on spins etc are so low it’s not worth doing

Do not get me wrong, I love the game... if only I could actually play it, especially as I had earned a decent amount of coins, achieved a level I was happy with and had a great cue. What happened? That at one particular point it just kept on crashing and I haven't been able to load the game ever again. As soon as I try to open the app, this shuts down a few seconds later. This for me warrants the one star. The game, like plenty of people before me have said previously, was never perfect and had a few annoying flaws but I still loved it because I could play it but now I cannot even do that. And even if it suddenly starts working again, I have the feeling my account will have lost everything I had achieved. Like I said in the title, it could have been so good...

UPDATE: I got my account AND points back BUT a few times, despite winning a game, it does not add the coins to my total (annoying when we are talking about 500k coins) nor it adds the new win to the total towards getting a ring (and this would have been my 20 out of 20 thus winning me a ring).

I have been playing 8 ball for a year or so and must say it’s very true to the real thing but it doesn’t take long to figure out there’s some background shenanigans going off.

It’s quite obvious that there’s some kind of coding that interferes in the games. I have never known a game to pot the cue ball or self snooker so much. You can almost guess when it’s going to happen in each game.

It’s usually when one player starts to beat the other then suddenly you’ve either snookered yourself or the cue ball ends up being potted. It’s a real pity as if it just left the games to run naturally it would be far more enjoyable. You actually start to play the software rather than your opponent.

I still play it though and have spent the grand total of £1.99 in all this time so you don’t have to shell out tons of money to be competitive.

Ok so this is an edit a few months on. I agree with a lot of the reviews already made regarding the pointless win boxes and the 50th same cue piece, I bought 10 scratchers with game cash and won less coins than I can easily get in one match. After getting to 58.4% win ratio I suddenly could not win a game, literally. I thought I’ll try a little experiment and bought £1.99 worth of stuff. I won the next 5 games straight and now it’s all ok again. I do love the game and if it costs 2 quid a month to give me a fair chance, I’m willing to pay that.

Good game for passing the time and it’s addictive but the game is totally rigged and the rearwards are rubbish, win streak loss streak all the time, when your on a loss streak all of a sudden the game gets glitchy and the white is drawn to the pocket all the time you know you’re going to lose the game within your first couple of shots, you put back spin on the ball and it will veer off to the left instead of spinning backwards it’s like the cue control go’s out of the window, also I’m level 90 so I’ve been playing a while I have most of the rings and the reward boxes are terrible and not worth it, Mumbai is a 15 million coin stake to play and a victory box only consists of 1300 pool coins and the cue pieces you win are more often than not the rubbish cues you get from playing in a 100 coin game from playing in London where is the value in that? Also far to many pop ups trying to get you to buy coins and cash etc. Sort it out miniclip

The game itself is pretty cool, and works well which is a the only reason I’m giving 1 star. You’re constantly given the opportunity to pay in game for extras such as coins or cash again this is fine. What isn’t fine though is when you’re given the opportunity to buy things such as additional spins which are supposed to give you the opportunity to win much higher coin amounts, this is where things start to feel almost scam like as you’ll only ever win the minimal amount of coins available per spin, usually the same amounts that you can get in the game for free by occasionally watching the 30 second adds (do this instead DON’T pay)!!! There is also a section within the game that promises much higher amounts of coins if you sign up to promoted companies which offer subscription services. I signed up to one of these services and over 2 months later have received absolutely nothing by way of the coins promised. I tried to report this via the instructions given but it doesn’t work and won’t allow you to actually submit the claim. A good game but let down by the developers greed unfortunately.

I selected to play a 1v1 option and of course it displays the match mode of the highest possible bet you can make, now this really frustrates me as have just lost 100,000 because the game thought i had pressed to play that game when in fact i had tried to swipe to play a lower bet game And okay people might think....why didnt i just press cancel.....i did and it took the 100,000 away...it did give me a chance to win it back by giving me a game to play but thats beside the point....if i had wanted to play that option i would have selected it and not have a problem at losing a high amount but the fact that the game practically forced me into that match and bet has really effed me off....well off to play kings of pool cause at least i can play a fair game that enables me to select the games that i want
