Daylight robbery

I have used this game for years, paying for an annual subscription to remove ads. Last year I paid £4.99 for 12 months. This year they are asking £17.99 for 6 months. An increase of 700%, which is completely unjustifiable. I will be deleting this app and looking for an alternative.

The game thinks I’m a new player at every session of play

I really enjoy playing Rummy and have done so for many years. For no apparent reason on one occasion at the end of each round the bars with ‘First Rummy’ etc came up and this has continued on every session I have played. I’ve deleted the app but that hasn’t solved the problem. It won’t stop me playing as I enjoy the game but it is rather annoying!

My favourite game

I play this game every day and I love it, really satisfying, and a combination of vision and luck. Can be very frustrating at times but worth giving it a go. I wouldn’t be without it now.

This is such a simple but relaxing game - no clever visuals just me against 3 not very good computer opponents. Very good to wind down at the end of the day - just what I need.

What was not broken now is…

I wish I had never updated the app. What was my every day fun is no longer possible. Whereas before I played against real people, I am now having to play against Ai. The game is sticky, and sometimes the top train of cards disappears into the space above. Perhaps is best to leave a game alone if it is not broken.

Very bias towards computer and 2nd hand the AI lays down all their hand…. Needs re#programming to be more random. Deleted, as no fun.

I had been playing this game for years but now its got ads after every round so its been deleted. I lnow you need to have ads to pay for upgrades etc. but sfter every deal is a bit much - unless I eant to pay a subscription for ads free , what happened to FREE games!

Good game but…

This is a good game, it keeps the mind engaged and is great for a little mental arithmetic.

However, I can’t shrug the feeling that it is not random. I have had long games where I am only competing against one of the players and the others hardly win a deal. Or other times where there have been five jokers on the screen (is this a setting I can change?). Often if you are in the harder setting, perhaps one game in five, a player goes out with all cards on their first turn.

Can you tweak it to make the cards truly random? Or is it already but just feels like it’s not?

Love the game and have played for years, unfortunately the last update cleared my achievements !! So frustrated as unable to recover. I have the game on my phone so will not be updating anytime soon.

Gotta love rummy

Always loved playing rummy used to play all the time with my gran when I was a kid, tried a couple of rummy games this is the best one . I would’ve given a 5 star review but for all the adverts I know we have to have them as the games free but after every hand ....... really !!

Ruined by adverts

I had the paid for ‘Gold’ version of this game which was advert free - however this is now ‘unsupported’ since IOS 14.5 and I have has to resort to the free version which is totally ruined by the intrusive adverts constantly on screen and at the end of every round. Why is there no advert-free paid for version now?

Scoring incorrect

The ads are a pain but easily circumvented by the use of a PiHole DNS server. The biggest issue with this app is the scoring is very wrong some times. E.g. I had 2x aces and 2x 5s in my hand and the game counted it as 72 for some reason.

Great game, but flawed

This game would be so much better if it followed the rules of not being able to discard a card if it is possible to play it, and not being able to go out until everyone has had one turn. Other than that, it’s good fun.

I appreciate you need to have ads in order to survive. But I play this game on the train while listening to either music or a book and some of the adverts decide their music is more important than what I’m listening to, so cut mine off.

The call of duty ad is particularly annoying as I have to close the app down completely to be able to listen to what I was listening to before the advert came up!

Good game but the randomizer is not great

It seems that always the same player (myself or one of the computer players) gets a great hand and wins. In reality if the cards are mixed correctly this wouldn’t happen. Takes the fun out of the game...

Why do the 3 opposition players always Rummy?

I Rummy from the dealt hand about 1 in a hundred games but the opponents win from scratch every 3 games. If I win a few games by defensive play. That is by putting my 40 points down and immediately selecting low cards from the pack , the opponents then Rummy time after time from scratch to even up their losses. They need to play more like a human opponent.

Needs fixing please

Great game but annoying when screen disappears and you need to open again, or when the screen during play moves up so you keep having to down arrow to see card sequence.

Can tolerate the ads but the above plus the sticking and juddering of cards is no good!

Great game, but....!

The graphics and user interface makes this one of the best rummy games on the market. However, my wife and I would love to be able to play against each other, but despite it being on Game Centre, there is no option whatsoever to select an online opponent. We would gladly pay if this was possible. Please developers, make this an option as it is far too easy to win this game when playing against the computer 😥

I’ve been playing this for years and have tolerated the pop up advertising to a degree but now the game Is completely blocked by some stupid add for slimming products that I cannot get rid of. Game is unstable, often freezes or blacks out. Have tried deleting and re-downloading to no avail. Interaction with adverts seems to interfere with the game itself. Needs some bug fixing urgently. If the game worked consistently it would be a good game.

Good game ruined by pornographic ad

I love rummy and downloaded it to play. On the second day, it lost all the history and when I touched the screen in the bottom left, up pops some dodgy pornographic film. Needless to say it was swiftly deleted from my phone. I can give no stars for that but it forces me to select one. It’s put me off buying games altogether.

A good game

An enjoyable game, well worth paying a small fee (4.99 year or 1.99 3 months) to get rid of all the annoying ads. It's a shame the option to do this is not a bit easier to find.

After playing the this for more than 3 months since my last review, my purchase of the 3 month ad free expired. I have just renewed it for a year this time. A small price to pay to play his game with no ads. Worth every penny

Not a bad game but too many ads and glitches. Cards shudder or the ad freezes and I have to close the game and re-open it. Fun to play though

Ads completely ruin the game

There are so many awful ads, it is impossible to play. Plus, some ads seem so dodgy & have no quit or skip option, that you have to completely shut the game down. Sometimes they can appear every few seconds. It would be better to offer this game for a reasonable one off price rather than have the free option which is made unusable by continuous ads. Very disappointing.

Love the game but the ads can sometimes last 25-30 seconds with no skip button and appear full screen after every match. I'd pay 1.99 for the game outright but instead it's a yearly subscription of 4.99 to remove ads which is a bit greedy.

This games need a bit more work to make it great. Too many times I have attempted to move the cards and ended up shuffling or moving cards down the deck. Even though I can play the game , where is the help menu or step by step instructions?. This is definitely a work in progress,sorry.
