Need to keep redownloading magazines
Very annoying app, have to keep restoring my subscription and downloading content almost every time I go on the app. Frustrating!

Love the mag
But as a few people have said, a lot more could be done with maximising the digital format.
Links and interactive features would make this app so much better. Given the discount for the digital edition over the paper copy, I’d be willing to pay a little more if there were interactive features.

And the paper version is even more expensive, someone claimed? Well, don't need either then.

Glorified pdf
Dull, dull, dull. There is no attempt in taking advantage of this medium - interactivity, visualisations, etc. Instead it's a pdf version of their physical magazine. Even the fonts don't scale when the page is magnified.
Don't bother with the electronic version - way too expensive for a glorified pdf. At least you can cover your head when it rains with the physical version.

Wonderful.
Firstly, ignore the people claiming false advertising, Haymarket are not going to give away this magazine for free when the print version costs money. The app is free to download which allows you to subscribe to the magazine. It is far cheaper to buy the digital version than the print version.
There is nothing wrong with the text or pictures pixilating at all.
If your a fan of F1 Racing and have an iPad then the digital version is a no brainer. I've subscribed to this magazine since the first one.

DON'T PURCHASE!
Absolutely terrible app, paid for a year, never able to download or even restore purchases. Support tell you to turn off and on, and that's it. Complete waste of money, buy the hard copy avoid this rubbish!! NO STARS had to put 1

Low Resolution Images, Not Interactive
The magazine is simply a relatively low resolution image of each page, without the ability to even click to jump to articles such as from the contents page or cover. Glad I didn't purchase more than one issue, hope it improves.

Poor quality
Looks like someone used a 10 year old scanner to produce the iPad version of this magazine. Awful quality and the text blurred.
Will not download another.

This is my favourite digital magazine. I love the in depth interviews and great shots the team manage to get. Fab for f1 fans on the move

Poor interface.
The F1 Racing magazine in terms of content and quality is very good but the package is let down by the terrible interface. It crashed repeatedly whilst trying to set up an account (at the add age part) so had to purchase my first copy without registering. Paid the money then.... nothing. Attempted to repurchase several times then after about 5 minutes it kicked into life and started downloading. Slowly. Will only download if you are wifi connected and no option to download using 3G. Only managed to partially download magazine and when reconnected to wifi it did not automatically restart so had to delete everything and start download again. No interactive content but image quality is very good. And it beats carrying around the physical artifact. Oh and £2.99 per issue or £10.49 for 3. Seriously?!

Good value but disappointing
Firstly, this is NOT free, you don't get any content until you buy an issue or subscription, not even a sample. This is simply false advertising.
Disappointed that the magazine is simply a copy of the magazine pages with no interactive features, not even tappable hyperlinks. Zooming into a page starts to show pixelation.
However, at £2.99 an issue it is quite a bit cheaper than the print copy and good value in my opinion.

Readable magazines. but some problems
App crashes every time I try to create a login. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still the same. Downloads fine and readable magazine, pleased to see it's priced we'll below a full print copy. But the app itself needs fixing.

Brilliant!
I have been a subscriber to F1 Racing for a good few years now and since getting my new iPad last month I thought I'd try out the digital edition.
Well I am happy to say I was not disappointed! Magazine looks great on the retina display and is very easy to navigate. Also, £2.99 for an issue is a bargain considering the paper edition is £4.70.
