Description
Practical Classics has a 30-year tradition of delivering the very best, hands-on classic car experiences to its readers.

PLEASE NOTE: The app is optimised for iOS 9, 10 and 11. Earlier operating systems are not supported. Additionally, older devices such as the iPad 2, the iPad Mini 1 and iPhone 4 may have difficulty running this app.

Subscriptions and Single Issues
Users can buy single issues and subscriptions using In App Purchases.
Please note the following:
• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period
• You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for that product
• You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period. This does not affect your statutory rights
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
• The app may offer a free trial. At the end of the free trial period, the full price of the subscription will be charged thereafter. Cancellations must occur 24 hours before the end of the subscription period to avoid being charged. Visit http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4098 for more information.
The subscription will include the current issue if you do not already own it and subsequently published future issues. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.

Disappointed
Signed up for 12 month subscription of Practical Classic as house had no more room for car magazines..got 3 months then after update I wasn't able to view any new ones.contacted them but didn't help so disappointed..

Simply Brilliant
An excellent magazine which works well on phones and tablets.
Each month is packed with enjoyable articles on a wide variety of affordable classic cars, that will keep all enthusiasts of classic cars entertained.

Latest edition keeps crashing
It is normally great, but I Haven't been able to read the latest edition properly, as it keeps on crashing. Also it needs to be proof read better.

Practical classics
Fine app, I usually like to feel the paper in my hand but this app is good and very readable on my iPad glad I found it, don't be shy to download it for your own entertainment value.

Much improved
I have found the the latest update much improved and the issue is now much easier to read.
My iPad no longer logs me out of the app half way through reading an article.

Avoid
New app will not download magazines, just citing a technical error and asking you to try again later. Have tried reinstalling and several weeks later still nothing. Will need to get a subscription refund.

Too slow downloading
I download loads of magazines, books & newspapers on various apps but this one is useless. It downloads about 75% of the magazine & crashes every time. Don't rely on their support to help you as it's of little use either, if they expect customers to commit to a subscription they'll need to fix the app first.

Print magazine is still better
I have a few magazines that I now only read on the iPad but this is not one of them.
The main screen is poorly laid out and looks amateurish, but the worse thing is the poor quality of the magazine. I find that when I open the magazine the resolution is very poor with grainy text. The only way to sharpen this is to zoom in then out which seems to sort the problem but this isn't practical to do for the whole mag. And to top it off its only twenty-one pence cheaper than the print version so I will stick with that. I have bought Practical Classics for years and I would be happy to switch to digital when they sort out the quality and lower the price (classics monthly is only £2.99 per issues compared to PCs £3.99).
