Starting with the January issue 2014, delicious. magazine will publish each issue in the same month as the date on the cover. So now you can be inspired by the exciting seasonal recipes in every issue, confident you'll find all the ingredients – whether in supermarkets, food markets or your vegetable patch.

This is a free app download with paid content within. The current issue, back issues and future issues can be purchased within the app.
Subscriptions are also available within the application. When a recurring subscription is purchased the latest issue will become available to download immediately.
Available subscriptions are:
6 months: £15.99/ US$22.99 (6 issues)
12 months: £29.99/ US$42.99 (12 issues)
-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for the product.
-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.
-Payment will charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription to that publication is purchased.
Bundles of single issues can be also be bought within the application. To use purchased credits, simply click on the issue price and select ‘use credit’. This allows you to purchase back issues at reduced prices.
Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.
We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area so that all issue data is retrieved.
If your app will not load past the splash page after a first install or an update please click the settings cog, then click Settings then Refresh app data. If this also fails to work please delete and reinstall the app from the App Store

Poor Apple Quality Control
Don't download, it does not load. Apple customer support takes no responsibility but happily takes the money. They do no consistently apply their customer service, so don't part with your cash. Will not allow no stars so forced to give one

Latest issue fails to download
I paid for the latest issue but it fails to download . I tried many times including deleting and restoring the app. Can you please look into it?

Am still trying to download after goodness knows how long, never had this problem before not sure why.
12 days later only 50% downloaded and each time I exit I have to start again. This is after following the advice sent to me, am seriously thinking of going back to paper copy. This is rubbish.

Clunky, doesn't download
Had issues downloading magazine (2 days after purchase only 31% downloaded despite retrying and reloading app)I have downloaded earlier issues but it is a bad app. When you swipe to the next page, it is out of focus and takes a couple of seconds to refocus - makes you feel a bit seasick after a while. There are no features to make using the recipes easy. If you enlarge the page you cannot swipe to the next page without manually resizing. Also details like the competition - 'answer the question on the magazine spine to win...' but no spine on the app - highlight how poor this app is..

What is the point
What is the point of being able to download it and not being able to open anything without having made a purchase? It gives the impression that it's free with in-app purchases - no, the whole thing is an in-app purchase! Why not simply advertise it as subscription/one-off purchase only. There is nothing free here. It's bizarre as I subscribe to the delicious mailing list and their emails are full of wonderful recipes - for free. Suggest you all do the same and forget about the app - it's rubbish; deleted it

Also lost all previous issues..
I've had a subscription for 2 years & all issues have now been lost on the new update. My log in details aren't recognised and when I go to reset my password off the publishers site they tell me my email address isn't registered. 😠 think I'll go back to real magazines...

Lost all my purchases after the upgrade!
Like most users I lost access to all my previously purchased issues and subscription after upgrading the app to the latest version. Very annoyed. I contacted support - they sent a standard message to try and login to pocketmags and restore purchase. This didn't work and they stopped replying to my further emails. Disappointing. Very poor app support. I want my money back for all magazines I paid for!!!

I purchased a yearly subscription. Great for a few months. Now find all purchased issues are up available and I'd have to buy them again even though system clearly states subscription ends February 2015.
Angry doesn't begin to explain my feelings.

Basic
Can't fault the content as I love the mag and the recipes, but this digital version is not much more than a scan of the pages ( unless I missed something lol). Would be nice to have something a bit more interactive ie tag and save recipes to a recipe book etc. will not buy any more issues in digital format as its not so much cheaper and I can photo or scan print version of interesting recipes and then pass on mag to my friends. Will keep buying the mag tho, it's awesome :)

Like the previous reviewer am also having trouble downloading may issue. Only had the digital subscription for two months and had this problem previously. Should have stuck to hard copy!!

E-copy makes perfect sense
I love getting delicious magazine via ecopy now - no more magazines cluttering up the house, can cook the recipes straight from my iPad and hyperlinks that take me straight to the pages or external websites.

Loved it in print edition so it seemed a natural progression to get it on my ipad, agree with the reviewer above, there should at least be a sample issue!

Why no sample edition?
There ought to be a free edition or at the very least a sample edition. Not willing to subscribe unseen.
Also, other magazines offer deals to existing print subscribers. As a subscriber to the print edition I'm unwilling to pay twice just to see whether or not I should switch to digital edition. It would be even better if print subscription also covered iPad edition.

Hate it
I have had nothing but trouble with this since I signed up for it.
When I downloaded March's edition I had a dozen or so pages missing.
I had previously downloaded February but now can't get back to it.
I have had 2 emails telling me that April is available but each time I follow the link I get March's edition.
Waste of money!!
