We learn fastest with frequent exposure to new words. Use Word Vault as your regular dictionary app, and it will remind you to come back and review the words you've looked up. Reviews are quick, fun, and help you to get words out of your phone and into your brain.

Waste of money.

I stared this app with gray hope but soon realized it had severe limitations. It is not a cheap app so I was expecting something world class. The main issue with this app is it cannot find half the words you out in. And when it tells you it’s searching the web it searches for ages without finding the word. If I look up the word in any other app it takes seconds to give a definition. I would not waste my money.

Skip it unless you’re desperate

This app has a lot of potential but it was badly executed.

1. It’s only using one dictionary- wiktionary, which is very limiting

2. It has html code in the definitions - ...

3. Doesn’t show definition on past forms of the word- very inconvenient.

4. It should work just as well as look up on iPhone with the ability to save the word for later review.

I just love this app. All those words I mean to look up, I save here and review. It is so easy to use and well thought out as an interface, I highly recommend it.

Clever method to remember and learn new words.

Would love a share extension to export words into the app from other apps. And also an iPad app!

Potential

Needs to let me review as many words as i want. Needs to show only favorite words when opening app and not the vault where it shows random words i never cared for. Needs to show different forms of the words when looking up a word. Fix these issues please and will be 5 stars.

I love it!

I've wanted something like this for ages- I've tried my own methods for trying to remember interesting new words I come across but invariably I don't get around to reviewing them and just forget about them, then when I come across the same word again I think 'doh!' I still can't remember what that means! This is great, you fill it with your own found words, you can add extra notes and you can set reminders to review your words so they truly start to embed themselves in your vocabulary.

The only issue I have with it is the dictionary could be better, but (at the suggestion of the friendly and helpful developers) you can add via the notes facility more to define your word. The developers say they will look into improving the dictionary. I highly recommend it, it's now one of my favourite apps.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.

This is such a great app for learning new vocabulary. Your writing and speech will be noticeably improved after a mere week of using this app. Daily reminders ensure you review yourself every day to engrain the vocabulary into your everyday language. It would be great if we had the option to make the reviews harder by removing the first letter clue, making reviews more of a challenge rather than a mechanical action.

Beautiful interface, so easy and really quick to use. Great app. Totally worth £1.99.
