Horrible airline, horrible automation

this is the most horrible airline I have used in the last five years. They try to squeeze you for money at every turn and charge you for every breath of air you take. At the same time the automation is done so badly, there are so many technical mistakes in their system, that I am surprised they are able to operate at all.

There is a bug in the app with online check in

I tried to find a way to report this to Wizz Air, but I couldn’t find anything in their website so a review will have to suffice. Needless to say, the app doesn’t deserve a 1*, it does all the basics one would expect from an airline app.
The bug: when you go to your upcoming bookings and click into the specific flight you’re taking, it says check-in opens T+24 hrs after takeoff when it should rather say T-24 hrs before takeoff. I sincerely hope this doesn’t affect my actual check-in, as I am doing this review ~40 days before my flight.

Increased the flight’s price after I selected the flight

When I was choosing the flight, the price for this flight was 904 zl, but when I selected it, the price increased to 954 zl. However, when I paid for the ticket, it deducted 1070 zl from my card, even though I excluded all additional fees.
I double-checked three times from different browsers, and initially, it showed one price. When I clicked on it, the price increased, and upon filling out all the information, it displayed an even higher price. I am very disappointed with this service. 🤬

Online check in nightmare

Horrible online check in system! Sign in not works. The email for the Reset password not working. The e mail not coming. There is no agancy for contact. When I reach the call centre about that they only advice to write complaints. They don’t help. It’s not possible to contact with them without sign in but the problem was I couldn’t sign in. Nightmare!

Very disappointed

I bought the tickets 5 months ago, choose my seats both ways (36D), and PAID FOR IT but on the check-in day my seat ended up next to WC (30D) and if I want to change it I need to pay AGAIN. I contacted wizz air agent though the chat, they said my original seat is no longer available. Why do I have to sit next to WC during the flight and why do I have to pay again if my original ? Using this company for many years and never had this situation. Very very disappointed! Already wrote a complaint!

After getting sick of constant requests from the wizz air app to allow the app to access my location and saying ‘don’t allow’ I deleted the app. Guess what….after spending ages removing all traces of wizz air from my phone and chrome , almost every time I open a chrome page, I get a request from wizz air to access my location.

Appalling costumer services

My flight from Leeds Bradford was cancelled today following hours of waiting in the airport. There was no wizz representative on site and the LB staff couldn’t offer any information. We were told to go to gate 1 and then to collect our suitcases, in other words we were invited to leave the airport and to contact wizzair if needed further info or wanted to rebook.
The way we were treated today was unacceptable .Due to the very poor costumer service I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

Uploading passport photos

Glitchy uploading all passport photos with the scanner. Finally managed it then couldn’t continue with the rest of the checkin. When later trying to continue from 5/9 of the process all previous info had been dumped & the process needed to be started again! Then given 4 seats randomly around the plane when travelling with under 16 child.

Avoid this company

Wizz Air should be avoided at all costs. Despite being marketed as a low-cost company, it is far from it. While they may offer some tickets at a lower price during the off-season, additional costs quickly add up. Seat selection incurs extra charges, even for standard seats, and luggage fees surpass those of other airlines. The fitting box at the airport for luggage dimensions is smaller than advertised, leading to exorbitant fees of around £60 for slightly larger bags.
There is little that is cost-effective about this airline, except perhaps the service, which leaves much to be desired. The planes are cramped, and the seating is so small that passengers cannot avoid rubbing knees with the seat in front. Furthermore, the ground staff is consistently rude, treating passengers with a lack of courtesy akin to herding cattle.
Given the choice, I would opt for a different airline on my usual route. Wizz Air falls short of expectations, earning a negative rating of minus 5 stars from me. I strongly advise against choosing them to avoid inevitable disappointment.

The worst airline service

I am just giving One star just to write this review. Our flight was at 9:50 from Athens to London.We received an email about the delay and the flight departure updated to 11:05pm. We reached here at 9:15 pm and we went to the counter to be told that they cannot check us in because we are late and the check in is closed. Never heard about the check in getting close 2hours prior to the flight They said they cannot issue our boarding pass and asked us to go to the ticket sale counter to get the boarding pass.After around 10:20pm we heard the last call for the flight.And speaking about the counter ladies they were rude and asked us to go back.The lady was holding my passport and she was talking to her colleague saying they are holding the Indian passport which sounds racist.Now we are at the airport spending the whole night to catch the next flight at 10:00 am.Even if it cost more please look for a good flight. Wizz air is a joke. Never going to suggest this airlines to anyone.

App error - can’t see boarding pass

The app worked well for several flights.
However, when trying to create my boarding pass for my most recent flight it just said there was an error as I was not checked in, another part of the app confirmed I was indeed checked in. I tried to chat to a human agent and they just told me to use the website instead and immediately left the chat with no further explanation - very poor.

Should be illegal

It is yet another time when wizzair is very blatantly trying to scam their customers. Every single time I am forced to use this app, the price for priority I select suddenly changes on the very last page - payment page. And no it’s not because “the price can change during a booking” which already is an unethical practice. If I start the booking again, the exact same prices appear - for example, I select priority for €20, I go through all the steps with that price visible, only for it to go up to €35, if I cancel and re-do the booking, I can again select €20 priority and again it jumps to 35 when trying to pay. Stop this crap and if you’re charging these ridiculous prices for a small suitcase at least be transparent.

I thought wizzair was a low cost airline, I checked for a ticket within europe and it was costing 100 euros and i did something and i checked again after 15 seconds and the same ticket was 350 what a joke is like you are gambling the price went like you was travelling in a business class from Europe to Newyork. i have to tell i have travel from Europe to Dubai with 250 euros and i also i have to tell I will never again choose to fly with this company even if they ofer me tickets for 5 euro.

Horrible company

Every time I’ve flown with this company there were problems. Customer service is inexistent unless you want to wait and pay a fee on a phone call. My latest flight was delayed by 5h and the compensation was a £4 coupon to ise in specific shops in the airport…it doesn’t even cover a meal deal. Even trying to find any information regarding your delayed flight in the airport is impossible. Unfortunately this is the only company that flies to my home town and has the majority of flights to my country…I would recommend to stay far away from them unless you have no choice. The app is decent, it freezez sometimes.

Check-in up to 3 hours

They say you can check in up to 3 hours but that is a lie because I tried checking in 6 hours before and I didn’t get a boarding pass and they don’t say why either, only that I need to go to the desk in the airport because the boarding pass isn’t valid but that is not true, it means they sold too many tickets and I might not get on the plane so I have to go to the airport, travel there for 2 hours just to see if I can or cannot fly and all this is legal too apparently, weirdly it only ever happened with this airline, no other low cost airlines do this! Unfortunately for me Wizzair has monopoly over the destination I am going to so I have no choice but to accept all this nonsense, otherwise I would never in my life choose Wizzair voluntarily!!!!!! 👎👎👎

No disability service no one picks up phone bad service

Trying to contact special assistance sent numerous emails noone responds, called got charged noone answers or gives another number & they don’t answer, dirty seats they don’t clean it, always expect tdelays had 3 hours wait! Hardly any food on flight. They randomly sat a family 2 kid’s separately even though they say they don’t sit children under 14 without adult! Worst airline experience, I am disabled my daughter has autism yet they sat us without our carer!? Absolute joke.. still noone has contacted me.. flights were £2200 for 4 so not cheap at all.. but it’s crampt dirty & bad customer service

Great app. Two problems

This app is nearly excellent. It’s much better than most airline apps. But…
There are two changes I’d recommend - one a fix and another an improvement.
1. The “share boarding pass” does not work to share by WhatsApp. If you press that button it sends the blurb, but not actually the boarding pass. This is a major problem with this function.
2. On the flight status page, it should offer an auto-populated option of the flight you’re about to take. Otherwise the user has to fish out the flight number, when I bet a very high proportion of enquires are for the next flight booked in that account.

Hidden expenses

I booked our flights to Budapest through Wizz Air last October, we only visited for two nights so decided hand luggage was only required. Upon checking in online I had to pay an extra £85 for us both to have a trolley bag as hand luggage now doesn’t include small trolley bag sized luggage, just a hand bag or rucksack. Then once checking in online for our return flight, it said trolley bag sized luggage was “sold out” and my only option was to then pay a further £127 for two 10kg bags that now have to be checked in at the airport. Bitterly disappointed at the service and I feel like every aspect of this booking was to take as much money as possible from me.

Fix your app please

Wizzair, you really need to fix your app! Upon selecting the date of issue and expiration date of my passport I couldn’t scroll to the correct dates, it kept bouncing back to the today’s date. I don’t know if this is a bug but I’m sure it’s fixable. I had to go to my account on the web version in order to check in which has been yet another nightmare and a waste of time ! Why there isn’t an option to select the date from a drop-down menu???? It takes ages to go 30 years back so I can select my date of birth. What happens if I select the wrong date and have to do it AGAIN? These things shouldn’t be so difficult to fix and would save the customer so much time. Checking in has never been so difficult, I don’t have any issues like that with any other companies. Not that I should have high expectations from a company like wizzair, and yet……..

Awful Scam

Worst flight app I have ever used. Going out the site crashed constantly and would allow check in. At airport tried to charge £89 per person as we ‘missed’ checkin which was wasted Ceres after we called customer service. On return flight took 30 minutes to get the scanner to work on passport, kept changing expiry dates on passports, wouldn’t scan biometric passport. Eventually booked and even on a flight without all the seats taken allocated me and my wife in different rows in middle seats! To try and force us into paying even more money (£26 - £50 odd pounds) to sit together. On the flights they had even split parents and children apart. Horrendous company and horrendous scam app. Avoid this company if you can they are not fit to be an airline will never fly with them again

WizzAir charged us €50 euros per person for in-airport check-in

TL;DR: WizzAir's app is easy to use but lacks transparency regarding hidden charges.
While the WizzAir app provides a good user experience in terms of usability, there is a deliberate lack of transparency about significant fees. If you fail to check-in online and have less than 3 hours before your flight, a 50 euro fee per person is charged at the airport. This tactic, seemingly built into their business model, is disappointing. Concealing fees is not a sustainable or ethical business practice. This overshadows the app's positive aspects, thus the 2-star rating. I urge WizzAir to make such fees clear within the app to ensure a fair user experience.

Very good but not perfect

When I’m about to pay for the booked flight and need to enter my payment information. I need to switch to my banking app to get the details and then switch back to Wizz Air app booking, but when I do that It just throws me off the booking and forces me to restart everything but now the seats I selected before have been locked to previously as recognised by the system unfinished booking. So I have to wait half an hour for the seats to be released or book later.

Just reminded myself that while you are checking the flight and another dates after/before and their prices the app stops to respond at some point like I’ve across some ridiculous limit of “dates”to choose/check and just cutting me off, then it takes a while to start over because the same sign”that your are not allowed” for more search yet shows straight away. We were flying from Nice to Belgrade on the 31st of March. The night before we tried to check in. My wife is a very nervous flyer and we always sit together. On your website to check in at the same time was not an option. So we decided to go tho the airport earlier and do it there. At the check in we were asked to pay €48 each, just because your website is not too sufficient. Also, there was no warning, of how much it will actually cost us, or will cost at all! And why so much??? It was more expensive than the flight itself, and yet it was full of stuff and they took longer to tell us that we have to pay, than simply check us in! Very disappointed with you and awful awful start of our little break

Awful App

This app is horrendous. Even worse, when you inevitably hit on a technical issue, the chatbot ‘Amelia’ is the worst digital concierge I’ve ever come across. Even worse still, when you’re at the absolute end of your tether, you can’t communicate with a human because the email address (you know, the one they use to contact you on), is not a valid email. Good luck calling them to give them your virtual can of whoopass, they’ll charge you €3 a min to vent, won’t help & then have the last laugh at your expense.
An astonishing business model whose mantra must be something like ‘treat customers as badly as you possibly can, watch them squirm, then look forward to the next one to be enticed by our deceptive pricing”

Issue with payments

It would be a great app if payments could be completed without any issues. I purchased my first ticket and the payment failed the first time. The second time was successful. I tried to buy a second ticket with the same card and the payment was unsuccessful due to insufficient balance or some other issue. Then I tried a second and a third card from different banks. All of them were unsuccessful. The same happened to me last year, and I had to start the whole booking process again. Obviously, the price had gone up by 50% in the meantime, which is ridiculous. Please do something about the payments, it seems your system is not ready for two-step verification payments. And the web app even worst, I can't login because you think I am a bot.....

Awful

Got to be the worst App/Website combination ever, doesn’t paint a good picture for the company and hope we don’t have any issues with the actual trip.
On the website had payment fail on 2 separate cards so had to start the booking again, but the prices had then increased by £100 per person (on account of it thinking someone had just booked for that flight). Sale ended at midnight so ended up booking a different date to get the same price.
Every time I log into the website I have to reset my password as my actual password is never accepted - have tried a password manager to generate and save a password, and one that I created myself with the same result every time. As soon as you log out it forgets your password. You can only change your password on the website, not via the app, so it’s physically impossible to log into the app.

Rip off - legal scammers

They cancelled my flight and there is no where I can go to so I can apply for the refund. Yes, the refund is not automatic! They purposely made the navigation on both their website and application so hard and confusing so you can’t apply for any refund. Customer service is non existent. I’ve tried more than 100 times to get through to someone multiple days during multiple day times and no luck whatsoever. They also stole my money at the airport for an extortionate fee to check in. I am contemplating a legal action against these crooks

Poor application!

App has a lot of bugs and it’s pain! Usually when you need very quickly add something or change in the app, it doesn’t show you what supposed to do. Last time I try pay for additional baggage with Wizzair credit. It doesn’t work even it shows this option!!! It’s not first time that I have had issues with app. Sometimes it helps when I uninstalled and reinstalled back. I am quite disappointed with something simple like app. Other companies can make this right over they years! Clearly Wizzair don’t care about customer/user experience!!!

unprofessional company!

The most terrible experience i had with wizzair! 5h delay yesterday from tirgu mures to Luton ,also after we landed we had to wait 50mins to get of the plane luckily we had small back pack ,I bet poor people had to wait a lot for the luggage as well! absolutely disgusting this company! the past couple of my travel delayed hours . No more wizzair i will drive instead and i will tell to all of my friends about this terrible company! by the way before to buy my last tickets you had an error on your website i bought it twice it took almost 1 month to get a refund and the customer service is rude they don’t let the customer to talk to explain what is the issue. wizzair will get some bad review from my and from my family members as well 1* and for this you gave for people a bottle of drink and some snacks?

App works but watch out for missing return flight

The app works well enough but I have just had a interesting revelation while on holiday. I tried to check in for the return flight to avoid having to pay charges at airport but my flight was not there. I decided to contact love holidays who told me they do this quite a lot and instead of using the same booking ref for the return flight they change it without telling the customer. Love Holidays had received an email from them with the new ref which they gave to me. I was then able to check in to my return flight. So if you are in the same boat as me wondering how you check into a flight which doesn’t appear under the same ref, get in touch with your holiday provider to get the new ref. Hopefully this will save some of you having to pay those ridiculous fees at the airport

Absolutely pathetic

I booked with wiz air and my flight was cancelled as I was on the way to the airport 25/09 the earliest replacement flight I could get was 29/09, now I’m trying to do online check in but I am unable to because my booking is pending and needs my action due to overpayment, I waited 2 hours on a chat and Nadia said she would help but cut me off before resolving this for me, I am so angry and frustrated with the lack of customer service , now I am waiting again so I can check in or I won’t be able to fly 🤬 please can someone contact me to resolve my issue

Not useful!

Specific to the app - it is EXTREMELY annoying that when you have a log in and a section named ‘My Flights’ that searching for your flight and even checking in does not save this flight under your account. Why even bother having an app if this isn’t a function of it?
Also super annoying is the time-out during check-in. Need to go and find your passport details? Well then you must start your check-in process all the way from the start again thank you.
Lastly, the prices of the (many) extras vary against the website.
In general I find the app to be of zero use apart from alleviating me from the burden of using the even worse website.
Company-wise, I just wish you would cut all the rubbish which means you have to pay VIP for decent size cabin bags and pay extra to sit together. Just put an extra £15 on the ticket cost and be an airline that doesn’t have to trick customers out of extra money. Wouldn’t that be refreshing! Instead the “VIP” line at the airport is a joke, as pretty much everyone has paid the extra sum for their cabin bag.

Generally ok but major flaw on delays

This app seems to work fine for general things - I was able to add my boarding card to my Apple Wallet and access it easily at the airport.
The app really falls short, however, when there is a delay to a flight. My notifications were on and indicated that the flight was on time at 08:05 so I didn’t think to check my email or online. I arrived at the airport at 6am (after a 4:30am alarm) to discover that the flight was delayed until 09:45. An email notifying me of the same was sitting in my inbox. I can’t believe the app doesn’t include a feature to update passengers about delays. Currently wasting 2 hours in the airport with a 5-month old infant.

Scammers

The app doesn’t work. I tried to make the payment, it didn’t go through and instead of allowing me to make the payment it said “check-in unavailable due to underpaid payment”. I spent 15 euros to get in touch with them as they hide very well the toll free numbers, and then they asked 15 extra euros to allow my payment on the phone. When I showed my shock for the unbelievable request, they terminated my call, after 45 mins waiting on the phone. Disrespectful and really really dodgy. Don’t fall on the trap of their cheap prices like I did.

More languages please – e.g. Greek

The App is user friendly and runs smoothly. It would be nice if it were available in all the languages that the Wizz Air website is available (the app is available in 19 languages, whereas the website is available in 28), so that people used to using the website in a particular language can also use the app.
The 9 languages not included are: Czech, Latvian, Portuguese, Hebrew, Slovenian, Georgian, Albanian, Catalan and Greek.

Piece of crap

They actively try to make you not be able to cancel your flight, by not showing your next flight in My Bookings on their site. You can’t do it in the app as well. When you manage to find your Booking by introducing the confirmation number of the booking that you receive in the email, then they only let you change flight and not cancel, though they claim in the bot instruction that you will find this options in My Bookings. They actively try to force you choose to subscribe to their special offers and other things for you to have access to your right to cancel your flight. If you want your self to feel bullied and your rights shamelessly violated, then this is the company to choose.

Bad company, worse app

I can’t even begin to explain how many issues I had with this app and the whole company all together. 3 Cancelled flights after hours of waiting in the airport, double bookings because the app keeps crashing, thousands of £ lost on flights i’ve never been on and many other issues. Never being able to contact them as they put you in these hours long queques that cost 60p/min. No email address to be able to contact them and billions of other problems. I will never book with Wizz air in my whole entire life and neither should you.

Dissatisfaction

Whenever I am trying to book a ticket I have a lot of issues. Ex. I can't buy from the first time buy a ticket, the app shows an issue about the bank blocking the transaction( I used many cards from different bank same issue, I asked the bank about that and they told me the issue is not from the bank ) when I tried a few times the issue persists, and with each search, the price grows up. Grew around 40£ per ticket and after, I could buy it. I am disappointed in the Wizz company because they are using the scammer ways.
P.S. I tried from other devices the issue is the same.

Worst Airline and steals money

I buy Wizz air priority from their own app and paid money to Wizz air and Wizz air charged me for that and at the desk they couldn’t find my booking and I end up boarding last passenger that’s pathetic. At the desk their supervisor was clueless ( and she wanted to make extra money and commissions for herself by charging for luggage ) but thanks got security supervisor was knowledgeable and he handles the situation very well .
I raised the complaint with Wizz air but Wizz customer care guy said you booked from loveholidays so can’t refund , but Wizz air charged money for Wizz priority and I booked it from Wizz app so I felt like they really just stealing the money and I would never fly with WIZZAIR pathetic

Passable app with some sortcomings

This is a passable app - relatively well designed with most things the customers needs for their flight. The app itself is stable and relatively easy to navigate.
I enjoy flying Wizzair, so I have some suggestions to make the app better.
1. Every time you open the app after minimising it, it hangs on the intro splash screen for several seconds. Presumably it needs to do a full reload from minimised. Frustrating.
2. There is an option to share a boarding pass with a travelling companion - very convenient in theory. When shared by iMessage/SMS, the image sent is too low resolution to work in airport boarding pass scanners. You need to take a screenshot of the boarding pass then message it to your friend to get it to work.
3. The date format on the boarding passes is, for some reason, in American format - MMDDYYYY. Why not use DDMMYYYY which is the universal format in all European destinations where Wizzair flies? The strange date format has been known to cause confusion with airport staff.
4. It would be very helpful if the app saved your payment information when it comes to paying for additional services, like seat selection - or better still supported Apple Pay.
5. Easy offline access to the in-flight food menu would be a real plus.
6. Covid information for destinations (the app redirects you to the Wizzair website) is out of date - particular example being Portugal/Madeira.

Don’t leave the app during booking flight

You could not finish booking your flight if you leave the app even for a second. The app does not let you know carry on where you were with your booking if you leave the app even to check something or you accidentally press home button on your phone. This way you loose your seat and cheaper price straight away. It would be great to have your booking saved in the app as a draft booking as you have to be logged in anyway. This way you don’t loose your time and booking and you can carry on with it.

RACIST AIRLINE

Experienced the most disgusting, vile customer service in my life and I am not exaggerating. I would give 0 stars if I could, they are not worth 1 star. This was the first time I’d experienced racism and it angered me that I was stuck in another country where even the security refused to help.
They singled my family out during a stop over flight, wouldn’t let us board the flight, were rude, unhelpful and refused to call management over to help resolve the issue- the supervisor was “the only management available” and she was the most racist person out of them all.
DO NOT book with WIZZ air ever. This 1 experience has put me off wizz air for life.
I hope they go out of business.

Terrible experience

My first flight with wizz air was delayed by 6 hours!! Had to hang around the airport with a crying baby.
Recently booked a flight for my parents to come and visit. They had raised the price for the return flight and we had to pay an additional fee. But that’s not the main problem. The worse thing is that I couldn’t pay the fee directly but had to call costumer service. And they charge a fortune for the calls. It’s ridiculous. I’m waiting for my monthly phone bill to arrive after spending over 30 mins with them on the phone.
And let’s hope the problem was resolved as it sounds a bit fishy but I just hope my parents will be able to board tomorrow!!!

Money grabbing w*nkers

Title says it all, will still book with them for their prices but you just know it’s going to be very basic which is fine if that is what you’re prepared for.
My biggest gripe with this company is they will give you a price, and when you go to pay if you need to come off the app to just approve the payment or for whatever reason, when you back on to the app it will auto refresh. So when you go back again to pay the price has changed and of course it has gone up. Hold your nerve, wait 12 hours if you can and the price will go back to what it was. Just do it on safari on someone else phone or on a laptop to beat this money grabbing cheating the customer system. They think we don’t notice. Starving company feeding on scraps.

The worst company/avoid

I had the worst experience with wizzair, rude staff at the boarding.. they treat without respect and consideration even though I was with my child.
I’m gonna complain about the untrained and disrespectful staff. No matter who u are no matter where you go ..no one should be treat the way I was treated and denied boarding as I had no visa. When I have checked and made sure I was allowed to go. The embassy said no need for visa and wizzair staff decided I need one. What the hell.. I believe they overbook on purpose and they just returned people away as they don’t have enough seats.

App crashes on launching, website doesn’t let me download my boarding.

I have flight tomorrow morning and the app crashes on launching. I am trying to check in via wizzair website, the process go through but when it gets to downloading the boarding pass it says “Something went wrong at our end. Please try to load the page again”.
BTW, this is not the first time this week Wizzair fails me. They changed my recent flights so my return flight was pushed back before the outbound flight, which made impossible to fix later via their website. I had to phone them and pay extra call rate £1.5 per minute to resolve it. Who did the testing of that system, seriously?

Never again!

I booked WIZ PLUS & FLEX (the most expensive and flexible service), just in case if something goes wrong I wanted to make sure that I would be able to get my money back. And guess what? I was neither able to fly nor got my money back! Instead, a reduced amount voucher was temporary(for some weeks) applied to my account, then it automagically disappeared! Of course during these weeks, WizzAir was not flying, effectively providing no service at all (flights have been canceled)! After big struggle to complain and ABSOLUTE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, I am now at the stage EU dispute resolution! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU NEVER FLY WIZZ AIR AND STAY SAFE AND HAPPY!

Very disappointed

Poor app. Be aware there is no free customer service option. No in-app chat or free line to do any change even you are”premium customer” with paid membership to their Club. Should you need to change everything, then be prepared to call pay per minute service! Very disappointed also how this company handled my request about flight cancellation because of “travel restrictions imposed on all flights announced by the Government”. So still waiting for the refund. Little hope honestly. Please avoid if possible. Ryanair sometimes even cheaper and with better CS.

Says flight cancelled but not which one?

Flying with Wizz for first time unfortunately right in the middle of the Corona Virus outbreak (March 2020). I’ve booked a return flight but 30 minutes before I board I get an email saying booking number ..... is cancelled but it does not specify which flight? The outbound or return??? The app even now one week later still shows my return flight ‘confirmed’ I show a WIZZ air member of staff the email showing the cancelled flight she says it’s FAKE NEWS!! So can WIZZ air tell me what flight is cancelled? NO! ALSO you try to contact WIZZ air, they make it very difficult to try and speak to anyone (you’re just a number, not a customer) their phone line is PREMIUM RATE!! (Just under 5Zł a minute) and how long will you be kept on hold for?

Improvement needed.

Sometimes bit Expensive but its ok, for me The main issue is , when I fly back home to MACEDONIA, I don't have a much choice , what time I can fly and wich date for ex. We have only 3 or 4 times flights per week, and the time its so Limited, only in the morning. I just hope in the future wizzair will improve this and we will have more option, otherwise im really happy to fly with company like wizzair! ( 5* ) 👍

Awful app, website and company!

Unfortunately this is one the only company who flies on the route we need to go home but in future I will go to longer lengths to avoid flying with them.
Their app doesn’t work properly. I can never download the boarding pass from IOS. Usually at the airport they will print my boarding pass but this time they decided that I had to pay for airport check in even though I have checked in online. Also Constanta airport does not have the equipment to read boarding passes on a phone but this fact it is not stated anywhere on the wizz website and the passenger is not informed in anyway.

They follow you

An application built to earn not for customer service. Probably controls IP to create a price offer, and if you have already logged in and purchase a Wizzair club, forget to find any lower prices. in case of any problem during the process of ordering a ticket, it forces you to return to the search for calls and raises the price for the same flight or requires a fee to save the selected price. For my most frequent distillations I have Ryyanair options and I switched to their app 2 years ago, because it is friendlier and there are not so many problems with it. Even though the prices sometimes seem higher, no one is following me and trying to pluck using the information obtained by the app or website. I do not know if this is allowed but causes that by deleting this program again. I do not recommend buying tickets directly with them and using app.

Missing important options. Mobile site even worse

As much as I have flown with wizz air, it’s quite clear that their airline is pretty garbage. I have had some pretty foul experiences. The app is no exception. TBH it’s pretty good, but I don’t like the fact that you can’t search for ‘anywhere’ and search for whole months for cheaper fares. Thing is, this is horrifically broken on their mobile site too. A real pain. I’m trying to use both together to get the ‘best’ experience, but mobile site constantly coming up with errors, and options on app are nonexistent.
Their flights are very cheap though, so you can’t argue with that! I feel if they add the browsing options that are featured (yet broken) on their mobile site, I’d be happy. I haven’t experienced any major bugs, although I’ve only used it for a couple of days.

Passport details

Could be better one big thing you should have the option to save the passenger and passport details from all flying passengers after entry. I wrote four passengers details you only get the option check in I wanted to review them in case I entered something in correct before proceeding all data was gone and I had to redo it again, very annoying.

Simply doesn’t work

I can’t really go into details about the current problem wih this app because the it freezes on the first intro screen. In the past I missed my flight when I trusted this app to store and present my boarding pass, later I gave up booking through this app because it couldn’t connect to my bank sequrity system (no problem w any other app), now it just freezes on the first screen. Probably that’s for the best, so you give up all hope before all the trouble.
Let me know when WizzAir invests into a proper mobile technology, till then we are stuck in the 20th century.

Very poorly developed app

I normally don’t write reviews but this app is exceptionally bad. Full of bugs very bad UX and most importantly - it simply does not work. My flights don’t come up on the main screen straight away; I have to search for them manually by entering confirmation number and surname. And most importantly it has now stopped working completely - I have made sure that it is up to date; I have uninstalled / reinstalled; restarted my phone and it simply does it load. I am travelling tonight and it is extremely inconvenient not being able to retrieve my boarding pass which I can keep it in the Apple wallet.

definitely not build for iOs

every time when i try to book and check-in with wizzair it utterly a long lasting frustration. On iphone or ipad when it come to payment page than usually all freeze and you can start typing all booking again with hope that you will be accepted booking. sometimes it takes ages. But check-in is even harder. Starts very nicely and quiet easy to follow instructions but on the end "ta-da" error occurred and you are in square one. no Bording pass through this application. Lucky I had a day before fly and I've manage to find a friend with laptop( of course microsoft) Sign in without problem and didn't need to typing details in because strangely the boarding passes already been available. Come on wizzair show up some support for apple customers!

Very poor

New release of Wizzair app is really poor. Compared to old version it is not clear at all and do not work properly! I’m very loyal customer and flying with Wizzair a lot in last few years. This app choose to check me in for next instead of current flight which caused delay on airport, additional fee and my complaint to wizzair team who try to find paragraphs in they terms and conditions to not cover my cost of fee. Shortly saying Wizzair team (because of they poor app) try to suggest that because there was no evidence of error in they system I deliberately put myself in situation to be nearly late pay fee and now as a bad Customer asking for refund. My case is still ongoing as Wizzair team is unable to supply any paragraph which actually is related to my case but I do believe that if they do not sort out problems with app they will lose good relations with more than one Customer! Come on Wizzair commit and treat Customers fairly if something is wrong as I do not believe that hassle and few quit which is less than 1% of my yearly Wizzair cash spend is something big for you! Fix your issues! Be pro!
