Truly great app, but…

.. I’m a bit confused by the ‘In App Purchases’.

I have a large number of ‘packs’, and a large number I don’t.

I’m OK with supporting the app further by purchasing the newer ‘full app’ at £12.99, but it’s not been updated for a year. Update & I’ll buy.

The Best

Best photo filter application! I know this app from ages, first time I downloaded I had an IPhone4, I had so much fun with all the filters as they match to any of my images.

Then for some circumstances I changed phone and couldn’t use for a couple of years. Now I finally had the chance to download back and after long time I still think is the best one and I have so much fun using it! Not going to remove anytime, too cool!!

Artistic Subtleties

This is an easy app to add atmosphere to your photographs. It provides sliders and combinations of texture and lighting effects to enhance your image and save it.

There are tasteful overlays too which add birds, a horse or person to your image. Nicely made. Have fun.

Can't load the extra packs purchased

I am new to this app but have spent a lot of time trying to find tutorials and info on how to use. A beginners introduction would be a useful addition - maybe with overlays like Snapseed uses? Anyway I purchased extra packs, they don't load. I have deleted app and reinstalled - still no joy - what do I do now?

Really like this app - I think that you should be able to make a one off payment to get all the other effects packages as the cost of buying individual ones is off putting and it's a shame that something as good as this can't be fully out there because of the cost.

THE BEST APP IN THE WORLD

For beginners right through to pro's, if you shoot photos you have to have this app. The finished results are simply superb... in my opinion, better than ANY other app available. Pros can visit the website and download more DistressedFX textures.

I hope the developers don't rest on their laurels. I hope they develop this further so that it maintains it's rightful place... NUMBER ONE APP

The Wow factor

Simple to use - and sometimes surprising. It can add the 'wow' factor that an ordinary photo lacks. Best to experiment and play around rather than have a fixed idea of what you want to create, I've found.

Some more subtle options?

Love the fact that I can just save back to my phone without having to publish first. The one thing I'd love even more would be some less extreme options. I find myself having to use the same effects each time as most of them are just too intense and take over the photo. Much better then some other options out there.

Oh yes

Not as many effects/ filters as some other apps, but the sliders more than make up for that. I used to be a snapper aiming to be a photographer; now I'm an artist. Would whole-heartedly recommend this to anyone who has ever pointed a camera at anything.

This is an incredibly promising app. The textures themselves are the best in the AppStore as far as I am concerned. Only criticism is that the output size is still a little too small. Will score 5 stars if the next update increases output size. Having said that this is still a highly recommended app for iphoneographers!

Nice but limited effects

The textures and filters are nice, but there aren't many of them and editing is pretty basic. The controls are a bit jerky too compared with other photo apps.

Bit disappointed with this app, needs more textures and more options to control them.

This App does what it says on the tin. whether you want subtle and worn or ravaged and torn they are all here. Great grunge texture if used sparingly can still add something to your images - it's all about less is more. A Good App to add to your photographic arsenal.

Great App, Filters Inspired by Cheryl Tarrant's Photography

Really enjoy the app, clean UI, very simple to use and makes the most of the iPhone5 over smaller screens.

Bit slow on going in and out sharing and can't share to Instagram, which would be a good extra.

Can't seem to tell the difference between Round or No blur styles!

Other than these very small issues, this is a fantastic camera app and should be in everyones photography app folder!
