I got this app as I’ve moved abroad but need a UK phone number to use online banking (and receive access codes). It worked really well for a month so I bought an annual subscription. Now I am no longer getting any SMS messages, and no reply from customer support. Looking at the comments on their social media page it seems I’m not alone. Shame - seems like a scam.

Moved to this service after online reviews were good. I use it for calling my parents overseas, calling their landline. Very expensive and sound quality is very poor. I would suggest if you want to do the same, use another app or service.

Don’t let your number lapse
Good when I first got it, but my number expired and it won’t let me use the credits I purchased to get a new number. No response from support so it’s useless now.
So; make sure you don’t lose that first number and you’ll probably be okay, but don’t buy credits with cash or they may become useless.

Call quality not dependable & Fake lucky draw
Call quality was good before 2020, in 2020 the call quality deteriorated, now hit and miss.
The lucky draw was fake. Firstly it says buy 5 or more tickets the chances increase by 50%, I buy 10 tickets but only increases by 30%. At one time my chance was 120%, yet I still didn’t win anything at that time.

First thing that put me off was after putting the number on my website and stationary dingtone withdrew it.

More of an ADVERT app than A virtual phone number
Even most ridiculous free apps have less advertisements and shooting pop-up videos than this app even if you have yearly subscription with them. Still they bombard you with videos that you have to watch and can’t not even be closed until it goes away it self as they fill your screen with compulsory ad-Videos
I have used this app for some time now and purchased couple of their Virtual numbers,
Humber one issue is that you can not use these numbers for Social Media apps and few other platforms mostly with services that require you to verify your number by text massage or so on
Once again did I mention those ad videos don’t even go away after you watched it remains on your screen for some times way after the ad video time has lapsed ... so annoying that you can’t even make a call or use the app in any other ways until the non stop Ad after Ad disappear by it self!!!!!

Junk, cost £9.99 & not working support is a joke!
So after reading about this thought ok I will give it a go, ended up having to pay £9.99 for it, then when I sent a text it’s never received. And when texts are sent to me again never received.
12 hours later I try again to send a text and it does go through this time but sends and charged twice for it! Even though shows only sent once in the app,
But still not receiving texts.
So I contact support via the in app support option explaining everything about not receiving texts and not sending them sending twice etc.
And said if they can’t get it working then I would like a refund (but would prefer for it to actually work)
And this is the email reply I got! No offer or help or we’re sorry let us check your account / app etc.
