Been using this app for years now and haven’t had many problems with it. It’s just a basic video/music streaming app using YouTube videos but with an added bonus. You can close the app and the music continues playing in the background. You also can make playlists just like you would on YouTube and you can listen to pretty much whatever you want.
It has it’s down sides of course.
1. There’s a few songs that won’t play for me anymore and I’m not sure why. It used to play them without any issue before.
2. Like most apps, there’s ads. Most of them are the kind that fill the screen and you have to wait a few seconds before you can press the X. I’d say there’s less ads than other streaming apps I’ve used in the past and not so many that it ruins my listening experience.
3. It doesn’t work without internet access, so you’d have to use mobile data if you don’t have access to WiFi.
Overall, a good app but with limited capabilities.

Was recommended as a workaround for YouTube but it was not
Once I started playing my playlists from YouTube via Musi - immediately 2 video adds and this is something I don’t want being a premium member on YouTube. Besides Musi app asks you to sign into YouTube for some strange reason as you can only play the tracks with in-app equaliser when you import a playlist via copying and pasting a link of that playlist. You cannot use anything directly when accessing via Musi as it’s a pop up window rather than API. So it remains unclear why I need to log into YouTube when I can’t get my playlists directly and have to import them only via a pasted link, which seems dodgy and raising privacy concerns

I can play most tracks alright, but in the Now Playing section in the Control Center it doesn't show the correct track or defaults to the "Not Playing" icon and shows Apple Music.

In comparison to all the other money hungry music streaming apps (youtube music , spotify, apple music etc) spotify specifically musi is amazing . You can stream music while you are not on the app itself or with your phone off. The sound quality is great it is customisable . Unlimited skips and lyrics and you can listen to the sped up , slowed down versions of songs etc . The only problem u might find is the ads but they are muted so u can still listen to ur music with them playing and u can get rid off them on a one off payment for less than 6 pounds. Literally amazing i dont understand why everyone isnt already using musi.

I absolutely love this app because the only thing you can pay for is the optional no adds and it’s relatively cheap. It’s a lot better than Spotify or any other music app because it’s completely free. I’ve tried multiple other apps and I have to pay for all of them monthly for at least £10
The only problem with it which isn’t even that bad is the lyrics, they do look quite melancholic and sad but most of the songs I listen to I know.

genuinely amazing app. i can stream unreleased songs ( such as lana del reys ) with no subscriptions and literally like 1 advert every 30 songs. may i also say the adverts have no sound so you can let ill listen to the music while the adverts playing ( so if ur phones turned off, you dont even know if an adverts playing!? and literally the maximum length of an advert is 10 seconds. unbelievably good app 10/10 from me

Best Music App Out There :)
I’ve gone back to this app a few times after facing issues with others. This one is just amazing :)
It gives offers so many theme options and gives you loads of personalisation settings. Unlike other music apps, I’ve never been unable to find a song which is amazing since I mostly like unofficial songs that wouldn’t normally be on music apps.
Ads are either just pop ups or muted videos which is honestly one of the greatest features as it doesn’t interrupt your music. Although it is also surprisingly cheap to remove them :O

It wouldn’t let me select a star but I would give it a 3.9 because I really like it but only flaw is the ads. The amount of times they come up but then it’s not just an X you need to hit to get rid there’s so many arrows to forward them etc to get rid. All of them also so repetitive. Should be easy to just X them off if not interested and should limit how many times they come up. Other than that I do think the app is good. I have been using for a long time now.

Glitch with music overlapping
The app is good, but a glitch keeps occurring where I'll exit the app with a song playing and the song I was listening to beforehand starts playing over it and overlapping. It's been happening more often and it's quite irritating as it ruins the whole listening experience, and it's quite confusing to have to go back onto the app and find out which song is overlapping and switch over the music (which is often interrupted by an ad) to switch off the song playing over the other. A great app otherwise, but this glitch is quite constant and it's getting more and more annoying

Great just one issue
This app has been great and I’ve used it for one year, but there is one problem that only occurred a few months ago. When I’m listening to songs on shuffle, I listen to a song, then it plays again but it doesn’t skip until I press it. But it is a great app. I don’t necessarily like the ads but I’m glad it continues with the music. It’s great and has a variety of selections but also some songs on my playlists don’t work and I find it quite annoying. I’d like you to fix the first issue I stated because it has affected me quite a lot since when I’m blasting music and I’m away from my phone it doesn’t skip and I have to go to it every time to skip. I’d like a reply and for you to fix it since it wasn’t like it before. Thank you.

I have been using Musi for years and I love it. It is so easy to use and you can use it while the app is off in the background. I love it and will continue to use it, especially as it is completely free. Music Player cuts out after skipping a lot of removed unavailable songs
A lot of music that i have on my playlist are removed and private, so whenever the player skips those removed and private songs after a while it just glitches out and then i would have to manually go back on the app and select on a song again please fix it’s annoying especially if you aren’t near your phone

Amazing! Only one new issue
I’ve used this app for god knows how many years and it’s so perfect. Only recently did I pay to remove ads and it’s even better. Love the new (intended or not) feature where songs added to playlists are placed in the recently added file. I hope this doesn’t get changed as I can see some people not liking it, but if there’s complaints, you can make it a setting to turn off or on. I personally find it so useful.
Only one problem with the most recent update, I’ve noticed that if I play the songs in my library linearly, not on shuffle, and I forward a song, it ends up forwarding to some random song instead of going to the next one in the library. It’s not totally random, it will skip 3 to 6 songs and play the 7th one instead of the one actually next. It’s a little annoying as I’m having to manually play each song from the library list. I cannot depend on it to change to the correct song. If you could look into this, that’d be great!
Other than that, no issues! Incredible app! Thank you for making and maintaining it.

Just one thing
This app has literally been amazing since day one; I’ve never had any issues, I can import playlists with over 600 songs into my library with ease and I can listen to each and every song without an issue. Everything has always worked smoothly, audio quality is excellent and there have never been any app crashes or issues for me personally. There’s just one thing I would appreciate if Musi app developers could consider and that would be an offline listening/download option.

Need help musi please fix this
I’ve had this app for a while now and one thing that I’ve loved about it is the wide range of music you can listen to, the fact you can make playlists and the fact you can listen to the music when you turn your phone off or go onto another app, but ever since the most recent update witch happened about 2 hours ago (Sunday 6th November) every time I listen to a song it always cuts off half way through and when I go onto another app or turn off my phone it does the same thing, I really hope you can fix this as I drive 3 hours every day and always listen to music on this app, please help out musi !!

Keeps crashing + another feature idea
Hi whenever I play a song after the new update it keeps crashing I know it isn’t my phone because it worked perfectly beforehand but half way into a song it goes off and when you click on the app it opens up at the start screen . Another thing is that could you make the recently played album 50 songs again? I only have 139 songs in my playlist that I use currently and if I want to hear newer music I’ve added I’d like to use the recently added but it plays songs that are inside my other playlists which I made months ago,so I think a feature where you could listen to recently added songs from one playlist would be ideal

Not very Pleased
I updated the app and now the whole app won’t work. I’ve been using this app for years so I have loads of music on there and i don’t believe that they’ve been backed up. It would be really annoying to lose all of them. And I was literally using the app this morning till it decided to stope working just when I clicked on the app it just kicked me out the app and then that’s when I went to update it well check for updates and there was so I updated it and now it still broken and won’t let me get into the app.

In terms of playing music and getting the song you want. I’d give this app 10/10. Im yet to find a song I haven’t found.
However a recent issue is the annoying adverts that happen. Now, I don’t have a problem with the amount of adverts as I understand it is necessary. However they have these types of adverts where it takes proper brain power to close down the advert. Tonight it took me that long to close down the advert, which x to press etc that I just closed down the app. If this persists for longer I’d rather just pay for music.

Please fix these issues, they haven’t been fixed
The first issue is:
Playing my videos within a playlist, they don’t play in the order they’re meant to be, it’ll skip a video or two instead of playing the video that’s meant to played next, or it’ll play any video randomly that’s in the playlist and not even play some of the videos in the playlist.
Second issue:
Musi won’t let me play certain videos due to “resource unavailable” this is happening to a lot of videos on the app at the moment, stopping me from playing the videos I need to play, please fix.

I personally think Musi is a very good app, it has a very good music genre, but i really hate the fact theres adds.. they really get in the way when your looking for a song, overall its really good especially how its made theres a section for when you dont know what song to have, and whatsoever your mood is you can select that and it will show up with music based on those feelings.. so like anger, happy, sad, or even breakup songs. An amazing app
Had this app for several years and rarely had any issues. I did pay to get rid of ads and honestly best decision ever. Only issues are that sometimes the music will glitch out, on good internet, but very rare. And also after the new update with the new menus when you hold on a song, I think it’s a downgrade to the old function of holding down to add to the queue and would love if that were to change. Only other thought would be a favourites function, but honestly this is an amazing app to use

Great app but some of the songs I listen to the videos end up “unavailable” I also hate the advert warning that gives you 3 seconds, it means it cuts you off from a song or clicking repeat or anything. The adverts need to be less frequent and rather then covering the whole screen having one that’s just at the top. They could also add a recommended feature in for the songs/ videos you watch or listen to, this was your can find songs similar to your most listened genres and find new songs you may love.

This may be because I have an iPhone 12.5 but still............It will bring up an add and when you press the cross to make it go away,it transfer you to the App Store or the web. Try again and it will do the same thing. It doesn’t do this for all adds, just the most common ones. (It will still play the music in the background).Don’t get me wrong I do really love this app and it’s features like being offline but please, please fix the bugs because I am starting to fall out of love with this app.

Musi is my life, honestly I love it and I’ve had it for years and years, however, for some reason it’s stopped working for me and it keeps saying that an SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made. I literally listen to music on this app everyday and now it’s stopped working and won’t play anything. I’m the type of person to get a little angry at things like this so can someone help me with how I can get this to work asap please.

I love Musi, I’ve been using it for years, but this new update that you have done to fix bugs nearly broke my phone! I can’t listen to more than two songs on the app now without it sounding like a cd playing that has been scratched to within an inch of its life, it then boots me out out the app but freezes everything else on my phone like a virus would whilst the song is still playing. Not to mention it overheats my phone within seconds! It also doesn’t want to play when I’m connected to 4g and regularly can’t play songs on my lists as it can’t find them. I’ve never in all the years I’ve used Musi had problems like this, please please fix it or I’m deleting the app before it crashes my phone for good

The “update” doesn’t fix anything.
I’ve used Musi for around 4-5 years now and it’s been my favourite music player for a while now after my sister introduced me to it, and I will say it’s a good app, but with recent updates in the past 7 months make the whole experience terrible. Before the recent update, like it says, my video player kept pausing, and it was also messing up the audio, and every-time I tried to search for something, it would pause my screen. Now with the new update where it says it’s been “fixed” made it worse by far. After I close the app the audio still plays, and before I can even press save on my forms, it shuts down my entire phone because of it’s heat, don’t think this should be happening, since my phone is barely a year old, my wifi and signal is good too. It still pauses, freezes and messes up the audio, so I don’t get what that update was about. I does the same thing as before. So sorry, I’ll have to move to a different app for the time being.

Great! But also takes a very long loading process
Musi is a amazing app with so much music I can’t find another app that’s like it! However, my problem is that mostly when I want to listen to music it takes a very long time to load and blanks out my pause/play button which infuriates me sometimes, but overall musi is a good app even though the technical bugs and glitches it had sometimes. The reason I’m not giving musi 5 stars is because of the glitches, and this is not a internet problem because my internet works for other internet apps too.
But overall, musi is a good app for music lovers! Musi is amazing!!!! DOWNLOAD NOW 💛

This app is amazing, I have tried many other music apps and they all needed to have a premium or something like that but this… IS PERFECT! It doesn’t need money unless you want the ads removed but I haven’t been bothered by ads since they don’t last long and you can click out of them quickly! You can watch videos, create playlists and more!

Old features and suggested new ones.
I’ve used this app for years now and has always been perfect and still mostly is! Since the newest update thought, the option to organise songs in a playlist alphabetically seems to be gone, it would be really handy if this was added back as finding music is so much easier whilst it is in alphabetical order. Also when you search for a song in the search bar at the top of a playlist you can no longer add that searched up song to the up next track, this would also be handy to add back as it is very useful. A new addition to the app that I think should be added is the option to make playlists inside of playlists, this would be nice for people like me who have organisational issues. Please consider adding these features back into the app and consider the new one as well. Overall a very useful app which I love and listen to all my music on. 👍🏻 Thank you musi!

I downloaded this literally yesterday just so I can see if this app had my favourite take that songs which Apple Music didn’t have. This is definitely now my main streaming platform since it has my fav Take That songs. However, you can’t view the lyrics on a song unless you add a song which has the lyrics on it, you can’t just search up an artist and have all their music in one place (I find that cumbersome), also it doesn’t tell you how long your playlist will last which I like to have. Other than that, I love it

this is the best app Ive ever downloaded
I downloaded this app because my friends had recommended it to me. So i decided to download it and use it to dance around and have a little sing. I thought it would be a bunch of adverts or needing to buy things, but its not. I have only seen one or two adverts pop up but there are a bunch of options of songs to listen to. It has every song you can think of for free. I really enjoy this app and recommend it for any age

Honestly, I love this app. But a few problems, when I listen to music it sound high pitched, like I listen to WAP quite a lot and every time I listen she sounds like her voice got higher and higher, second problem, yous should make the music so you don’t have to have internet because I don’t have internet on my phone when I go out or something. There’s no more problems this app is so perfect 🥰

Best music listening app out there!
This app is hands down the best for listening to music as it plays music when your phone is off or when you exit the app without closing it. There’s also an option to remove all ads for a one off payment of under 6 bucks unlike other subscription based trashy apps like YT Music where you have to pay 10 bucks every month. All in all, Musi is perfection, they’ve even let us upload playlists from YT to it, albeit limited to 250 tracks per playlist, wish they could extend that to 500 or more. I highly recommend this app to anyone considering a simple, slick, hassle free music app that simply does its job better than mainstream apps these days, all for nearly half the price for a one off payment. No subscriptions! This is beyond a bargain! Well done Musi! 🎉

Really good, if you’re patient
I love this app, truly, one of the best. It does, however, have a single huge flaw. Every so often, you have to delete and re-download the app to get it to play in the background. As such, I’m forced to keep rigorous notes on exactly what songs I have in what playlists. I have to keep the name, the musician and the channel that the video came from in order to know what songs to download when I have to delete the app again. It’s happened several times.

Finally one that works
I’ve been looking for a new app to play music in the background for a while since my last one stopped working. This one lets me play videos with my phone off and all the ads are banner ads or play muted while still playing the video behind it. Really thankful that the devs understand spamming full volume ads every couple of seconds kills your user base instantly. I’ve even clicked on the ads just because I know it supports the app.

Won’t work on wifi ??
So i had this app for quite a while and everything was fine played music perfectly and made sorting music into playlists very easy, everything was just straightfoward. i wasn’t fussed on it needing to connect to 3/4G but as of recent it stopped working when connected to just normal wifi. like when i’m at home connected to wifi it says there’s an error and can’t play anything. so i’ve had to turn off my wifi and connect to 4G just to play my music at home when before it worked fine on wifi and on 4G. i hope this problem can be explained/ fixed as it is quite annoying as it was a fab app but recently just stopped working when connected to wifi which makes no sense.

Amazing
I think this app is absolutely amazing. Whenever you go off the app, or turn your phone off the music is still there in the background which is one thing I love about it. I’m not sure about other people but whatever song I search for, Is there, but I’m not saying that all songs are there. I love the way it works. I’ve had it for quite a while now, I’ve been looking for a good music app like this one for a while...I’ve gone through apps to find the best one. I’ve stopped at this one because like I said, I think it’s brilliant. I definitely recommend this app!

Amazing! but..
i’ve been using this app for a while now and i absolutely love it, it’s amazing for making playlists and having all my favourite songs in one place. The only issue i’ve ever had with it is the random deleting of songs sometimes cuz of some ‘error’ that doesn’t allow you to listen to the song unless you re-add it to your playlist, which is fine honestly. But recently it’s been extremely buggy and laggy and it’s honestly really frustrating. it takes me like 20 minutes just to listen to one song because of the random breaks and pauses and loading. it’s really annoying and i know it has nothing to do with my phone or wifi because everything else is fine. i just hope they fix it soon

Brilliant
Really glad I downloaded it, it’s a really good app and lets you listen to almost anything. I’ve used it for a while and I’m really enjoying it. It’s better than most other apps in my opinion and it’s free unlike other music streaming services/apps. Would definitely recommend! Only downside is that for me and not everyone and partly due to connection is that some songs don’t load Or take a while to eventually play. But overall a really good app! X

Great app!
I’ve tried loads of different apps in an attempt to find one with minimal ads and one that works. This app fills both of these objectives! It’s a really great app and I love it...
But there’s one thing that stops this from getting the 5 stars it deserves: I think that it should be possible to sort all of the songs in my library alphabetically by the artist’s name, instead of the name of the song. Just because I find it neater and more efficient if one artist’s songs are all in the same place, rather than spread out all over the place.
Other than that, a great app. Would definitely recommend.

Hello Musi,
I have had your app for quite a while now and for the most part it’s brilliant however i cannot use it outside of the house without using my data which i do not want to do. I know of someone who has Musi but is able to use the app and listen to their songs free of wifi, data & charge. Is this your app or do you have a separate version that is able to do this? I would love to continue using your app as it’s fantastic but being able to listen to my music outside of the house without using any data is essential to me.

Hands Down Best Free Music Streaming App
Well I don’t normally write reviews but I felt the need to for this amazing app. I used to have on my old phone and used it for 2 years. Then few month ago I changed my phone but I couldn’t find the app and the app store was telling me that the app no longer available to download. I spent a lot of time downloading and trying different other app and non of them compares to the performance of Musi! So glad that it’s back in app store and that I’m able to use it and enjoy it again😍

This app is so good
I have had this app for about a year now and its honestly just amazing.
It will play any song I want and it will also let me add playlists which is great for me.
I have had problems before using this app with similar apps, they will stop working after a few months or even weeks. Although with this app I have had no such problems it has never stopped working or anything like that.
The only problem I would have with this app is that it does use a lot of mobile data if you are using it out and about. But I guess that is to be expected for a music app.
Overall this app has been amazing and I will continue to use this app.

Amazing but...
This app is perfect but it doesn’t let you listen offline. This app has all the songs and I totally recommend it only I you know that you don’t want to listen to music when you have no internet because I know I do. I would be amazing if we could listen offline. The reason why I gave it only 4 stars is because of the not being able to listen offline but I would have given it 5 stars if we could
I know I have gone on about listen offline but it would be the BEST APP EVER if we could :)

Ok needs working on
So, when I don’t use WiFi and I’m out and about Ian’s I want to play a new song I find a new song. But the app it self dosnt let me and I use my data and it still won’t let me! Me, personally it has every song ever it’s got nightcores, remix’s and everything! It also gives you lyrics and the actual music video. One of its many features, it plays whilst your device is of or whilst your on a different app. But as I was saying fix the bug with the data. If the creators a see this please change this bug or mistake because it’s driving me up the wall!

Amazing definitely recommended
I’ve tried loads of music apps that are free and I would musi is the best one yet I’m sure there’s lots more that are good but if you like music apps with hardly any longggg ads then get musi . Even though there are certain ones that come up after you haven’t used the app for a while they don’t go on for long and I normally get annoyed with ads but I don’t with this app and I definitely recommend this app for music and you don’t have to pay so its even better not to sound cheap or tight but I’m only a teenager myself so I don’t really want to pay . Musi is the longest music app I’ve stayed with because all the others have really bad adds and you had to pay to get rid of so I just gave up and when my cousin recommended it to me I tried it and have had since . Xx

BEST MUSIC APP!
This is by far the best music app, it allows you to listen to your music whilst on other apps! It allows you to listen to whatever music you want, and also allows you to watch the music videos/lyrics as well. It also allows you to create many playlists and allows you to add which ever songs you want into them.. I believe this app is a 5star app because you’d never find any app like this, thanks to musi, my life has been made easier by allowing me to listen to music for FREE, and allowing me to go onto other apps whilst listening to the music I have chosen.. thankyou!

It’s the best!
I love this app! I use it everyday. It’s awesome how you can listen to your favourite songs and do something else at the same time. But this app would be even better if we were able to create an offline playlist. It’s just, whenever I go for a day trip or something, I can’t listen to music and it makes me happy when I listen to my favourite songs. Please allow this in the next update, if there is one. Thank you.

I use this app Alot
I love this app, it is very helpful and easy to use and bluetooth.
However, there is this glitch in playlists that keeps happening. It happened before the last update and then it stopped so i thought it was fixed, sadly its happened again.
During playing my playlist it was working fine and then instead of running through my songs it would just keep looping the same song over and over unless you change it then it will do the same with another song.
Please fix this, thank you.

it’s good but ...
It’s good because u can search up everything u want and it’s there and u can make as many different playlists as u want but now somethings happened i don’t know wether it’s an update but u can play the music but now u have to stay on the app to play the music so if your playing music and u click off the app then it’ll stop which is sad because i used to play music then click off and go onto a game and now i don’t have any music to listen to unless i stay on the app which is sad

I have just recently found this app after spending ages just trying to find a free music app where i can skip however much i want without too many ads. This app is amazing and i can get all my music from the Search feature that I want to download. One thing i would improve about the app is having like a recommended area where the app recommends songs that you have played. Other than that, definitely get this app!!!!!😊

Playlist glitches
I absolutely love it, I've had it for about a year now and I haven't had any problems until a problem Occurred with the playlists and its glitches .When I want to rearrange songs in the playlist, it sometimes bugs out and places the song somewhere completely different to where I placed it. Or sometimes, the song will go where I placed it however, when I play the songs in the order , a song from literally the other side of the playlist will play instead, and it can get quite frustrating.
Maybe you can put this in a query for a potential update.

Annoyed
I loved this app. Note the past tense. Used it everyday for my music, and yes I was slightly bothered that it wouldn't work without an internet connection but I could live with it, and so I did.
Now, I updated the app because my music wouldn't load or play and it kept crashing on me. Figured the update would fix that issue. It fixed the second issue, but not the first one. No, no, no. Made it worse in fact. Because now, when I pick a song, it immediately gives me a message claiming there was an error and that the "resource was unavailable". For most of my songs. Then, it proceeds to completely skip several songs until it stops, loads for a second then refuses to play. Or it just shows the loading symbol for eternity.
