Very good
Very good app and does lots of things great. However, since this is the official Shonen jump I am going to rate it down as they overwork their manga artists. They force them to continue their series even when the author wants it to end there. That’s my only complaint

So I’m liking this series (Agravity Boys) and got passed chapter three, then it tells me I need to subscribe and I did but it turns out that that app won’t accept my card (Nationwide), will there be any updates for more cards that you can accept for the app or am I going to need to find a replacement.

100 chapter limit for payed users?
Literally the perfect app in every way; cheap subscription, tons of popular manga, works seamlessly with minimal issues, downloadable manga etc etc.
However.
Why am I, as a customer who is actually paying you for a service, being restricted in said service to 100 chapters a day.
Granted, 100 Chapters is no meagre number, but when you want to get through one piece, Naruto, or any other long manga… it’s literally nothing.
Also, if I’m going on a long trip and want to download manga to read, 100 is no where NEAR enough.
All this feature does is promote piracy. Why would I wait 24 hours to finish, for example, bleach, when I can just go to a random website and read the entire thing in a day with no restrictions/downsides?
Yeah… it makes no sense.
Please sort this out 🙏

I love this app that I pay for it but what knocks it 2 stars is that not every manga I want to read is in Shonen jump also even though it’s not as good manga plus is 90% where as this is mostly not, but it’s cheap enough that it’s worth the money if you read lots of manga and shonen jump has most of the most popular manga around. Overall I recommend it but still if you don’t really like shonen battle I recommend trying to find something else

It’s Good but disappointing
I like Shonen Jump it’s good for Manga you get to download chapter if your offline but there’s one thing that’s Disappointed…Premium. I downloaded this app to read Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba but 3 Quarters of the Chapters are Premium and I know Premium isn’t Expensive but it’s annoying because I don’t really want to spend money on more things but if you can afford 3 Pound/Dollars then it’s a good app for you

Oh my gosh I was shocked when I saw this app,
Just to summarise it it’s an app where you can read mangas, (for a very cheap price,) and if your not into spending money or paying per month money. You can find I think around every single manga here with having the first 3 chapters for free and the 3 last chapters for free while the rest you get with over 15k+ mangas to look over.

Pretty much the best manga app out there
You get to read 100 chapters a day, for a month, for less than half the price of one manga volume.
If this is not a steal, I don’t know what it.
The catalogue is extensive and it keeps up to date with current Japanese releases. The interface is simple and intuitive.
If you are manga fan, this is a must.

It's a fantastic app. The images of the pages are super clear and the words are really easy to read. I think it's great that the subscription is only £2.99/month which is really cheap compared to subscriptions on other apps. With the payment you can unlock thousands and thousands of volumes of manga which is amazing; it gives you something to read for years. Overall though, I think this app is fantastic and if you're into manga, I would personally recommend getting it.

Great app for manga lovers. Rather than reading scanlations of aggregate sites, you should be supporting your favourite mangakas. At £1.99 for all-you-can-read manga - you can’t go wrong. Albeit, you’ll have to supplement your addiction with other free or subscription-based apps like Crunchyroll and WEBTOON. 4-stars, because they should include all backlog and licence all of their manga for our consumption.

Overall a great app
The selection of manga is honestly amazing on here and the price of the subscription is super cheap and I’ve never had any real problems with the app, the only reason it’s not a 4 star is the automatic deletion of downloaded chapters after a week, it can be frustrating if I’m in a situation where I’m waiting and I think “ah I’ll read the chapters I downloaded” just to open the app and see that they were deleted, I don’t mind that it’s the default but I feel like we should have an option to turn it off or at least extend it.

A good app with a simple UI and good chapter tracking. There’s a few issues such as being limited to 100 chapters per day (very frustrating if you read quickly) and the fact that they keep changing the dates of release. The english translations are also released quite slowly - about 2 days after fan translations.

Nearly one of the best apps
I genuinely enjoy using this app but the only downside is that I can only read a 100 chapters everyday. You may think it's a lot but it can be easily done in a few hours and with the subscription, I think it's reasonable to make the limit 250 chapters, not 100. Also the download UI needs a heavy rework, it's boring deleting one by one and adding one by one. Also they need to fix where the last read is only saved on your device and not your account.
Overall great app as there is a large showcase like Bleach, One Piece and One Punch man but some issues that should be changed.

Good for the first 3-6 months
I think it’s a great app to use but if you read manga fairly quickly you’ll quickly find out that this app is severely lacking in some of their best works that should be available to read like hxh. I think they it’s strange how they don’t have all the chapters of some manga like I don’t know if they don’t show up on the pc version also but it means I can’t read something that I paid for, even tho it costs like 2 quid these things should’ve been ironed out because I’m paying. I really wish their were some more manga on here because it is a good app if you like to read manga and as someone just starting to read manga I couldn’t recommend a better way to do it.

Great app but still huge design flaw
The app is great, I’ve been using it for many many years! But the biggest issue that I have, that after all these years is still not resolved, is there being no comments/comment section on the app! After a chapter I always have to go on Google, open the website and then read the comments that way (on web page).
It’s a great app, I’m just confused as to why it’s been so many years and you still can’t even see comment section on the app, let alone write a comment on a chapter.

This app is great for manga fans. I recommend all anime fans to download this app. If you want to read things: horror to gore, love to mystery, thriller to sports, it’s all here. The only problem with this app is the fact that you can read the first three chapters, but then you have to pay. Admittedly it is only £2 a month, but it is annoying when you just want to read the manga. Besides the membership, very solid manga app - and legal!

It’s really good value for money. £1.99 a month for 100 chapters a day is perfect when you want to read a long series. Collecting physical manga is cool but not when there’s over 500 chapters lol. Only thing is that it’s sometimes missing some series’s that you’d expect or want to see. It still has a good range of shōnen manga though

One small thing-
This is really great but if I had to say something it would be the titles.
Let me put this into context. It started when I began reading Manga. I know the names of what I read but half the time I forget it. Lates take MHA, for example. It’s called My Hero Academia here but Inalways call it Boku No Hero out of habit. Nothing ever shows up.
Other than that, this is great and I recommend it. All the other websites/apps I check just flopped-

Love It but Quick Suggestions..
Love this app. I’m rather new to reading manga/watching anime so it’s great to have a platform like this available. I know you can buy the full volumes or just read the chapters but it would be nice if it was clear when you’ve started a new volume within the chapters. Just helps keep more track of progress or if you wanted to switch between the app or the physical manga.

Needs one addition
Simple easy app to use. But please add a Resume feature across my account. So I can read in PC, then when I go to my phone it knows where I’m up to, and continue where I left off.
e.g. At the moment I can read a Manga on PC from chapter 13 to chapter 20, but when I go to my phone it’ll be back on chapter 13.
The reading experience needs to be synced to my account across devices. Thanks

One Request
This app is awesome been subscribed for about a year just one request if there could be a comment section for the mangas so other readers could interact as if I want to comment I have to find an alternative.
Had to change the ratings due to the new update. For some reason app never works when Im not connected to wifi. It closes when I open it and and the chapters I download don’t work when I’m offline too and the app closes. Please fix this or I will cancel my subscription and find an alternative which would annoy me as I love this app.

Needs improvement
I really like the app, I’m a subscriber and I read a few mangas here but... you definitely need to sort out a better way to keep track of what you’re reading, include a favourites option and some kind of currently reading, at least give us the option of deleting items in the continue reading, and the option to use it across devices, since it doesn’t refresh when you read in a different device with the same account (iPad and iPhone). If this was not sorted in the clumsy way it is now I’d give you 5 stars!!

Really good app does exactly what you want and never has any bugs.
Only comment I’d suggest is that it lacks on interaction for fans. A comment and like or ranking feature would be great (similar to how WEBTOON have done it). It would be good to be able to interact with other fans of the manga directly in a comments section and discuss, as well as have a ranking feature to be able to find other popular manga.

Great selection for the price!
If you’re someone who enjoys reading manga and want to help support the artists, this is a great way to do it. The selection offered is one of the best on offer. If you’re a newcomer or someone who has been following Shonen Jump for a long time, this is a great place to catch up.
The app could do with some quality of life additions such as having your history cross over between different platforms, pinning series to make it easier to navigate to them would be a very welcomed addition. The 100 chapter a day limit is quite annoying when you’re on a binge but it’s understandable. Other than that, great job.

Some titles are digital purchase
Originally gave this 5 stars but recently I’ve tried to read manga and it’s volumes only where you must buy the full digital copy of the book (at full price) - I pay the subscription fee every month & can’t stand when I have to make additional purchases for a service I already pay for, so 4 stars instead.
I’d rather pay a little more for subscription and get the individual chapters then be forced to purchase a digital copy of the volume for the same price as a physical one.

Easy to use
I’ve been using this app for a short while, paying the monthly fee to get access to all the chapters and it has been worth it, the scans are high quality and the app is easy to navigate! Even if you cant pay for the whole thing, you can read the newest chapters for free for ongoing series’ which is really handy! The quality stays consistent even when zoomed in and it keeps track of where you last left off!
The only complaint i have is that the library is quiet small compared to the amount of SJ manga there is out there! One can only hope that its library gets updated with time!
Oh and that you have to pay extra to read any light novels! But that doesn’t bother me personally because i buy those physically anyway.
I highly recommend using this app if you’re interested in SJ manga, especially for the ongoing series.

The best app for manga reader
This is by far the best app for reading manga.
Before I found this app, I was wishing and searching for an app for me to be able to read full manga that I love on the go. Then when I found this app I thought nothing off it until I started using it and couldn’t get enough I have to pay subscription but it was soo worth the money actually it a steal for what you are getting.
I wholeheartedly recommend this app for any manga love out there , you won’t be disappointed.
P.s if you read this on your I pad it feel just like the real deal. Hahaha

I don’t really have any major complaints with this app, especially as it only costs £2 to access all the manga it has to offer, my only problem is that there are quite a lot of manga on the viz website, that aren’t on the app, for example, Hell’s Paradise. Apart from that everything is great!

It’s okay
The actual shonen jump service is very good,£2 a month for a subscription is amazing. However, do keep in mind some titles aren’t on this app but this is just because they’re not shounen jump titles, for example: Beserk, FMA, etc. Now, the actual mobile app itself is not amazing. It doesn’t lack any features like continue reading and recommended titles however it is quite buggy as in it freezes a lot (this is definitely not due to my internet by the way). If they could just fix the bugginess (if that’s a word) then it would be perfect. Hope my review helps.

Low quality scans on an outdated app
It’s a great idea at a decent price but the quality of the scans are very subpar and the app doesn’t seem to be optimised for newer iPhones. If you have any model after the X, the top part obscures some of the page; this is even more noticeable when the phone is on its side. This probably wouldn’t be of any concern if used on an iPad, however.
Personally I have to give this service (app and web version) a miss. The low quality of the scans are too blurry for me to justify paying for them as I have trouble looking at them comfortably.
I have heard that newer chapters have a crisper, higher quality but if you can’t read the chapters to catch up with them, there’s not much point. Very unfortunate.

Could add more manga
Yeah I may be wrong but there’s a lot of manga I would of expected to be on this app so if you could add some more that would be great but everything else is perfectly fine and 100 chapters a day is fine I’m not going to read that much in a day anyway one thing I would ask for is remove the whole taking away downloads after a week thing that’s annoying

Great, easy and good value.
Well I don’t want to sound like a review bot; but I’m going to keep this short. The app is great value, easy to use and helpful if you love manga and don’t want to pay massive amounts of money for the books and series’. This app is so great as it gives you a free 7 day trial to try it out! Definitely a great money saving app where you can read all books from naruto and my hero acadamia to One piece and Death note.

Great Price but one thing
Insane price, great content and layout.
Only piece of criticism is if they could make it automatically go onto the next chapter instead of asking us to choose whether to leave that specific manga or to continue. It may not be practical for everyone but if you could add a setting in the settings which meant that we could turn it on and off that would be great. But overall the best app for reading manga.

The app is very good however my problems would be that Shonen jump have much more manga that I would expect to be available on the app to read such as shaman king, reborn etc moreover I think there should be an option to simply add mangas you want to/ are reading to your library not purchasing or downloading them first, furthermore there should be options to choose whether you want to read from left to right, right to left or even from the top down like a web toon. Despite this though, the mangas that you can select are good titles and even some I hadn’t heard of before (especially recently created ones) and the price of subscription is very cheap and manageable unlike other anime and manga apps so overall a 4/5 for me

Great app and works as intended at a cheap price point.
Been using this app for a few months now and for the price, if you read a lot of jump manga, this is well worth your money. Highly recommended.
The app works well most of the time, I have had a few issues with loading some chapters, but closing and re-opening fixes that, or downloading them instead of streaming.
I'd like to see more minor features added, such as a "my favourite's" list, or tags so you can search manga via its genre e.g. sports, romance, action, etc. Also a way to get notifications from specific manga for when new chapters are released.
It would also be nice to get wallpapers from some of the cover artworks, or profile pictures from your favourite series', but these are all extremely minor features and have no impact on the quality of the service.
If any of these features already exist, I apologise, but I haven't found them as yet.
Other than that, It's been great to read manga I wouldn't otherwise have bought physically due to availability or because of the price point on an unknown series; for me personally I discovered Dr Slump through Dragon Ball, and it's a series I wouldn't have been able to read elsewhere.

Nice idea but poorly executed
Having so much manga at your fingertips for £1.99 sounds like a great idea. And initially it is great. No more sketchy translations or poor quality scans, and the knowledge that you’re not essentially stealing from mangaka anymore is very appealing. The 100 chapter limit a day is pretty annoying but it’s a small price to pay.
Then you discover that the app is glitchy as hell: loading errors, pages not turning due to app losing touch sensitivity, blank or missing pages, freezing screen etc. When you actually turn away from the app in frustration and start searching the internet for free scans... well that’s when I cancelled my subscription.
Try again Shonen Jump. Please.

A really great app at an affordable price.
If you are into reading Manga or Comics then this is definitely the app for you. Its really simple and easy to navigate for the price of £1.99 per month. Its a small and affordable price, it is so worth it. Discovering some manga may change your life like it did for me when I first started reading Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball. Keep the manga and animation industry in business and subscribe to this wonderful app.

The app may seem great and all. But unless you are willing to pay £1.99 per month then it is useless. I understand that saying this makes me seem spoiled ore something. But if you are like me, in the sense that you already have other memberships you need to pay for, then this probably isn’t the app for you. This is because you get the first 3 chapters (well, 3 chapter for the mangas I saw) and then you have to buy the membership for all the other chapters. I would rate it higher if they made it so that the paid membership gets you early access to chapter and exclusive membership only manga but it doesn’t.

Great but needs adjustments
A fantastic app for reading latest manga, but it could certainly do with some adjustments. Allow users to favourite manga, and have it work cross platform as I use this app on my iPad and phone and the app acts like they are completely separate accounts which is annoying.
More manga would be nice, as to be frank there is not a massive amount.
For only £2 a month though it’s still a great buy!

Great App
The app has an easy to navigate UI, a very cheap price (£1.99 a month) and the quality is the best you will see.
The only problem I have with the app is that there aren’t that much manga however that is a manpower problem and not a flaw with the app.
A little suggestion would be to add a feature where you can favourite manga and get notified when they receive updates.

Great app with improvement suggestions
Thsi is a great app specially now you can read the recent chapters for free and officially!
One recommendation i have for this is that when you rotate the phone the picture will be zoomed to upper panels of the page, and you can scroll down to read the remaining of the chapter without page transition.
This will help with reading the chapter while you are on the phone. This feature is available in similar apps such as Manga Rock.

Nice but not enough mangas
1) The app is technically great: mangas are downloaded quickly, the quality is the best possible. Navigation is very simple and responsive. Great work! 2) The price is just fantastic and you can read everything available. Perfect! 3) Now my only disappointment is that I was expecting many more mangas/series. It’s Shonen Jump! It runs from the 1960’s! They should have hundreds of different mangas but only a few (fifty-ish maybe?) are available. I was expecting hundreds of them, with the old and completed series. I would definitely recommend the app though.

Lots of content for a cheap price!
Although there are some minor bugs a subscription is definitely worth it as you get lots of content for only £1.99 a month. If you are caught up on the series you are interested in you can use the app for free as the 3 most recent chapters are free. Highly recommended for people looking to get into manga or to read ahead in anime that they watch.

Great App
Really great having such a huge amount of content for £1.99 a month. I got it so I could get ahead with one punch man and read it all well within my 7 day trial. I’ll be keeping it though as there is so much to look at. Easy to get around and search, saves where I last read up to and can download for when I have no bandwidth. Great app!

Great app but needs a bookmark/ follow series feature
I love this app, the price is great for what you get but I think it would benefit from a way to bookmark the manga series you’re reading or have some sort of queue/ library feature so you can keep track. Otherwise this is awesome and recommended for any Manga reader, £1.99 per month gets you so much content.

The 5.0 update ruined this app
Shonen Jump is great and I think that providing access to a back catalogue of titles is fantastic, however, the 5.0 update turned a good app into a bit of a mess.
The app is now clunky and unresponsive, chapters load with missing pages, among other issues. You don’t seem to be able to bookmark, nor do you get any indication of which chapter you’ve reached in a series, meaning you always have to try to remember which number you got to.
This app needs sorting out ASAP - it really is a shadow of its former self as it currently stands.
