My son and I have downloaded the app, both created accounts and never received a verification email so can’t use it, followed all their advice, added them to safe sender, check junk, trash boxes but nothing. trying to contact support is a joke with once you finally found out where to open a ticket it won’t submit.

I have Vauxhall corsa, I have purchased in app the UK postcode feature. This feature has never worked properly. Everything I try to use the navigation it asked me to re purchase the feature again. I have been trying to contact Bringgo for over 2 year but no luck. DO NOT purchase any add ons as it will not work and there is no way contacting Bringgo. I have send over 20 email but no one bother contacting me back.

Unreliable
I paid for this satnav when I bought the car 6 years ago and have used it a few times, but have found it extremely unreliable. First of all it doesn’t recognise most of the places in Scotland I’m trying to get to which is infuriating!
I had stopped using it altogether but thought I’d give it another go last night. It started off ok, but just at the trickiest bit of the journey it completely cut out on me! Something needs to be done to upgrade this system to make it fit for purpose.

This app is a JOKE
Shouldn’t have to pay to download the app and then pay again to use it Even if it is 99p. I want led to use this for when I went away as it is the only thing that will connect to my car but so I download it about a month and half so that I could practice using it before I went away now been blocked as I have to pay again like £80 witch is a JOKE to use it for 1 trip. BringGo Should still be able to use to use it once you paid to download it just don’t get any updates in a free version. To be honest just better to use google maps or maps on iPhone as there free and don’t have be conned into paying so much for an app that you get free on your phone.

Seriously needs an update.
This app seriously needs updating. I’ve bought a new build house (3 years ago) with Google, Apple and Here maps showing the correct route to my home. This app says I don’t exist and states to use a bridle way to get to the nearest road which has never been big enough for a car.

Very out of date
Just bought a used Corsa and thought I would give this a go, bought the full package at £80 thinking this would be a well established system for this price....boy was I wrong!
Maps for uk and Ireland were last updated in 2017, I messaged customer service who’s only response was “We don’t know when the next update might be and have no set date for an update”, which is not really good enough when the details before purchase say 2x yearly maps updates included, but nothing since 2017. Certainly seems like something trading standards would be interested in hearing.
As for the maps usage itself, it’s ‘ok’ at best, very primitive interface, but works as a sat nav mist of he time. Something that isn’t bring go’s fault, but Vauxhall’s is my iPhone insists on connecting as an iPod every now and again which stops the sat nav working and needs to restart, but remembers the route you were using. The fact you can use this as a sat nav get it 2 stars and that’s it.
Seriously needs updating and soon as I feel it’s a bit of a scam to ask for £80 for out of date maps that isn’t highlighted before purchase so is a serious contender for miss selling.
Hope this helps people before they end up out of pocket, naturally if the system/maps are updated I will update my review.

What is the point ???
Seriously what is the point in this app? Simply just robbing customers of their money. Built in ‘extra’ for my Vauxhall Adam, more like built in nightmare !! The sheer cheek asking for a pound for this piece of crap let alone trying to charge £64.99. Miss leading, and pointless . Just use google maps and pay for the extra mobile data charges than give your money to this company, honestly boggles my brain as to why Vauxhall has even partnered with them.

I downloaded the ‘free’ 30 day trial (for £0.99) of this nigh on useless app for the infotainment unit on my newly acquired Vauxhall Corsa. The idea is to open the app on your iPhone and then connect to the infotainment unit via USB. Fine in theory, doesn’t happen in practice. 19 times out of 20 the app crashes on the phone. On the odd occasion it doesn’t, it invariably crashes when it connects.
The only thing I can say in its favour is that on the very few occasions when it did work, the instructions were excellent.
Why anybody would pay upwards of £50 for the full blown app is beyond me.
Come on Vauxhall/Opel/General Motors, your reputation is going down the drain by bundling this app on your otherwise excellent vehicles. Do a deal with Garmin or TomTom.

It is its own app- that can work with the car.
Donno what the problem is, buy the app, connect phone to car with usb lead, open app on phone, open app on car display, job done. Clowns probably buying dodgy cheap apple usb cables which stinks of problems. Used it for years, 100s favourites saved in which display no problem on car, it flicks from day to night mode when headlights turn on. Even the internet search function works well if you have cellular/wifi connectivity.

Ive just got it and cannot use it. The picture and sound got stuck after about 2min driving and i could hear thru all my journey same direction. As much as it looks fancy its not working. Thought I’d try the app with my new Vauxhall. After purchasing the app I realised you have to plug your phone via USB rather than Bluetooth so make sure you have a phone charger in the car!
The app doesn’t include traffic info or any changes in speed limits. You have to spend another £64.99 for this!!

Good but not great
The app itself looks like it belongs in 2009, but the functionality of it is surprisingly good. It requires your phone to be connected to your car which took too much time to realise, as well as the app to be running. But when it was fully up and running the navigation was great.
However I now can’t access the app due to an invalid certificate, which will hopefully be resolved soon and why I have it 2 stars.
Update: The problem has been resolved so I now give it 3 stars.

The app just keeps freezing every time I try to download the map. I only bought the app but after reading the comments I will not be upgrading. In a world where it is illegal to use a mobile while driving I am now going to need to buy an additional sat nav device.

Got that as the only option for in car navigation.
Realised after the first 0.99p that after 30days it’s £79. No way am a paying that for an app I get free on my phone!
Also, the app runs really slow and navigating the app is outdated and disjointed.
Can’t find address only from a postcode and requires manual entry of road name. Not user friendly or up to date at all.

I have used this app a few times and paid for the full version, which was not cheap. Then today when I needed to use it, it would not connect whatever I did. I have found it really hard to use too. Tomtoms are so much easier. I will never buy a car that needs an app for its satnav. Disgusted with Vauxhall, having a fantastic size screen like that and not being able to use it.

For a £70 app which had great potential does not have the back up that it states!! Crashes all the time and contacted customer service and over a month and not one email back!! Sent another and still no response! This app had great things going for it but with no support it’s pretty useless!! Such a shame.

Why did I bother
After using google or iPhone maps and having reliability, I stupidly logged back into this app to plan a journey for tomorrow. Waste of time! Not only was it glitchy, I now can’t keep the app open for longer than a second. If you’re thinking of downloading, then please don’t waste your money. It’s so frustrating, roll on getting shot of my Vauxhall and actually having a car with a decent sat nav. Really disgruntled.

Complete disappointment
Not sure who I am most disappointed in, Bringgo or Vauxhall! Thought I was buying a car with built in sat nav only to find I have to have an iPhone (luckily I do) I needed to pay around £30 for it and then it only works some of the time. When I have used it I have needed to them use my tomtom half way through journey as Bringgo gives up, even in the middle of Solihull!!
Come on bringgo get it sorted, come on Vauxhall don't partner up with a company that can't deliver!!
Update- this got sorted and I have had no problems until the last 2 weeks when it just cuts out and turns itself off mid journey- not reliable at all 😒

The worsts app ever
I think I will die laughing 😂 #bringgo for Vauxhall’s the worst sat nav ever!!!
1. It requires an active app on a phone.
2. A phone needs to be plugged into car’s USB.
3. It has 2 separate navigations: Western Europe and Eastern one, which means I will have to use one till German/Polish boarder and the other one from Poland 😂😂😂😂 LOVELY!!!!

I will never buy another Vauxhall again because of this
Having spent best part of £15k on a Vauxhall Adam Rocks I was told the Intellilink system would give me a Sat Nav and would work with apple apps. So after paying extra £500 for a touch screen DAB radio, to then be charged another £60 for what is an underdeveloped Nav app I feel I have been totally misled.
Vauxhall - this will cost you as you have made no attempt to put this right and I will never buy another car from you. Just having google maps integration would have put this right. The Bringo App is dreadful

Disappointed
I purchased the ‘trial’ a while ago but couldn’t get it to download the maps. I have just upgraded to an iPhone 8 which can hold much more data.
Downloaded the map only to be told I already have had my 30days & cannot try. I refuse to pay £60 odd to try something that might be rubbish.
Really annoyed as really want to see if it will help with work!

False advertisement
Paid 99p for an app which doesn't state you then have to pay an extortionate amount to then actually USE the app! Absolutely ridiculous there is a 30 day trial which isn't so bad but i went on the app which said i'd used my 30 day trial 3 hours after downloading it? DO NOT BUY

Works well
Used it for about a year so far, no complaints and has taken me everywhere that I've asked it to. Just as I would expect !!
