Won’t even start up

Amazing - downloaded the app, started it, it hangs for about 2 mins and then returns ‘invalid status code 403’.
All I wanted was to check in and get a boarding pass….

Data Breach

I can currently see another persons flight to Stavanger on the app in addition to details of their Eurobonds points. I am logged in as someone else every time I open the app so cannot see my flights or log in. It is the same for my family member. I can view my booking online via a web browser, but the language is stuck on Swedish and cannot be changed to English. I am very worried about my data, including my bank details! I also need to make changes to my booking which isn’t possible due to the app not working and not being able to understand the language online. What a joke!

No boarding pass

Absolutely rubbish. Not possible to get your boarding pass after check in. When calling SAS service desk I got the message that I “just have to queue at the airport”. What’s the point of having a mobile app if it doesn’t work. Will stop flying SAS in the future. Unfortunately no one from SAS reads these reviews.

So easy!

I traveled alone for the first time on a flight and I was really nervous about everything but this app made everything so stress free and simple! Check in on the app and it tells you what gate to be at what time, your flight number and seat number! So so easy to use thank you for making my first Norway visit an easy one. Small app works well

Was able to download my return boarding passes in a few mins for use on the phone - which meant I didn’t need to find a printer or queue up to print out passes. That’s all I needed the app for and it worked very well. Thank uou.

Worst experience ever

Travelling from london Heathrow to Copenhagen to perform- the flight is an hour and a half!

Arrive at Copenhagen and after 2 hours of waiting and asking for assistance I get told they have no idea where my guitars are. I have a gig that night and fly to Amsterdam the next day.
They inform
Me guitars will be at my hotel that night. No guitars.
I have emailed, tweeted, called, left messages, got a case file for lost luggage and heard nothing. I’ve lost so much money and work.

They already knew this but I again inform the company to “please leave them in London and I’ll collect them when I get home”
I get an automated message today, almost a week later stating that they’ve sent my guitars to Copenhagen- 6 days later and I’m not even there

I live in the UK. The registration process requires a post code but wouldn’t accept my valid UK post code so never got to use the app even after repeated attempts. So I have to agree that this is a pretty useless app.

Of all the airline/ travel apps I've used, the SAS one has been the worst. nearly every time an attempt to buy a ticket ends in "Our bad - something went wrong"
sometimes you do have a ticket .... other times not. Unbelievable for a carrier of this size.

Easy to install and easy to use

I’ve had no issues with the SAS app. I find it easy to use and easy to navigate. SAS have been exceptionally helpful during these strange times, particularly for me as I travel with my child and it can be quite stressful. Hopefully they will put on the direct flight from Heathrow to Lulea again soon ):

Booking not added automatically

After I book a flight in-app, why does it not automatically add the booking to ‘My Bookings’? I have to go to my confirmation email and manually add it to the app - it destroys the purpose of booking from the app.
Should also think about adding Apple Pay and letting people book a flight without logging in, similar to what oher airlines dowith their apps.

Very smooth and quick, don’t understand all the bad reviews??!!

Easy to use, brought up all my upcoming trips as soon as I logged in. Allows boarding passes to be added to Apple wallet quickly and easily. No issues at all with the app for me, worked perfectly first time I downloaded it, running iOS 13.3 on iPhone 8 plus. Can’t understand all the negative reviews??

Worked fine for me!

I almost didn’t bother downloading this app due to the reviews but as I had no easy access to a printer for my boarding passes, I thought I’d give it a try. I had already checked in on my lap top and I clicked the check in option again on the app by adding my booking ref number and surname. Boarding passes were then easily accessed and sent to my apple wallet. Worked without any problems for me.

Worst Airline App

I have probably 15 different airline apps on my device from carriers all over the world. This is the worst by miles. Utterly useless, can’t check in to different segments, doesn’t support iPad other than in phone mode (is it still 2010?) your development team should be ashamed to release this. Better just to rely on paper boarding passes and airport info screens. DELETE

Messed up all our names?

Double, tripple, quad checked everything was correct before booking and now when finished i note that both me and the daughter who has middle names have our completely messsed up?! Note from angry review comments this happened to someone 4 years ago but so dont seem very quick to fix.. no easy chat function with Customer Service so now have to call and waste more time to find out if its just a display error or if the booking was corrupted. Not impressed.

Total rubbish

As per the many other users who have wasted hours of their lives - this is utter rubbish.
I can only assume that no one at the airline ever bothers to read these reviews or they would hopefully do something about it - like fire their IT director and get a decent development team to fix this.
I worked in IT all my life and have tried dozens of ways to try and get this to find my reservation so I can simply check in. I have the loyalty number, I have the billing ref, I have the email verification of my booking. No combination works.
So I give up. I will delete this and probably never fly SAS again.

Not user friendly

It gets a star as I have to give one to write a review. New to SAS and wanted to check business fares etc. website is awful (location Japan yet can only choose Japanese and no their language ????) so decided to try the app. Full details in and when I try to select the outbound business fare it automatically shows an economy fare and I can’t choose a business. Should not be this time consuming ....... wont be utilizing this or the website

Terrible

Maybe I’ve caught it on a bad day but looking at all these other reviews I’m guessing not. Basically I can’t log in on mobile app even though I can log in on my laptop (non app). I’ve wasted 45mins trying to figure out if I was doing something daft/wrong.
My advice is do not download app, print boarding pass.
To SAS, this is really poor and makes you look worse than other competing airlines.

Useless - Just use the website

A total waste of time and energy. So frustrating. I couldn’t get anything done. I had to go tothe website to tick the loyalty program subscription they asked me to have to check in. Then I wasn’t able to check in, it kept timing out/ giving me errors. I checked in using the site, hoping it would update on the app and let me have the boarding pass on my phone wallet. But the app doesn’t update and the status of my booking said that I hadn’t checked in (which freaked me out a bit) Summing it up, just save yourself the time and frustration and use their website.

Don’t waste another second of your life......

This is a truly dreadful app, not even deserving of one star. It won’t log you in and despite a call to customer services, who assured me that my Eurobonus card was linked to an account, it still doesn’t work. If I try to re-register, it says I already have an account. You will never get back the minutes or hours you spend trying to get this to work, so don’t bother with it. I am not ‘technologically challenged ‘ as a previous smug and sanctimonious reviewer described people who have had trouble with this app. Steer clear!

Rubbish user experience

This airline app is functional. That’s about as positive as it gets. For frequent flyers using SAS it is a really poor user experience. It doesn’t use any of the passenger information from the profile to auto populate API or add loyalty programme information when you check in. No, you’ll have to add this information manually each time you check in. Noddy stuff that SAS hasn’t figured out. It’s as if it’s been designed by monkeys who have never used the app to test the user experience. Whoever designed it should hang their heads in shame.

Such a nightmare to use. Even if you have an existing Eurobonus card but haven’t got your sign in details, the app suggests you register. Then they sign you up for a new Eurobonus card and don’t give you any option to enter your existing one. Deleted it and thrown the new card in the bin!

The worst app I’ve ever come across

This app is the most useless piece of cr*p I’ve ever come across. Literally nothing works. I took me 30 minutes to even figure out how to log in, and after an hour of trying it’s not even able to find my boarding pass (I had to check in I my computer cause it didn’t work on the app, but even after doing so it still can’t find my booking). It’s ridiculous how such a large company, in 2018, can’t manage to develop an app that works. I won’t fly with them again. Going to bed now as I have to set my alarm early so I can find an Internet cafe in the morning to print out my boarding pass. Yuck!

Does what’s needed plus free check-in seat choice

I was reticent about downloading the app having seen the reviews. I did so for convenience in the end. Honestly though I’ve had no issues.
I’d have potentially given it 5 stars if it hadn’t required me to register (BA allow you to use their app as a guest user, as do other including some of the budget ones).
It all worked, registration was reasonably easy. Once registered I entered my booking info, which it found and was then as functional as any of these airline apps are. One excellent function (more about SAS business model than clever coding though) is the ability of you to choose your seat *for free* at check-in.
The boarding pass can be used in the app or exported to the wallet like all similar apps.
Being registered brought an added bonus of a text alert for a delayed flight. Gate info also seems to actually work unlike some other airline apps.

SLOPPY AND SLOW!

What a pain in the hoop this app is, even though you’ve entered all the details online the app has to be updated manually with your bookings! It wasn’t logging me in and asking me to register for Eurobonus, which I didn’t really want, even though I’d already done it.
I had to amend everything online, changing passwords which were already correct.
Seems I lost the debate with my mother about online or paper ticked.
Well done SAS for supporting the Luddite’s contention!

Tried to register using the app but it won’t accept my phone number as it needs to be between 9 and 30 digits... mine is 13 so should be working fine so it’s a joke. Tried to register online but the page doesn’t exist. Removing the app as it is pointless to have it.

Book parking - where?

It seems a bit silly to trumpet a new feature that doesn’t exist. Would be great if this could actually be added though.
Otherwise the app works as expected - I’ve used it to book flights as well as handle boarding.
