Do not waste your money on this app, no video works & this app doesn’t pick up WiFi connection... my £2.99 gone down the drain! Very disappointed!!!!! I want my money back!!!!!

Important tips:
- iPlayTo is based on DLNA technology and WiFi is required to use it;

- iPlayTo can't play the media in other app (for example, the videos in "Videos" app), but you can upload media files to iPlayTo and play them.

Unsupported? Not really
It’s just keeps saying everything is an unsupported file so nothing will show up on my TV

Works very well for me.
I am using this app to stream from my iPad (2017 version) to our Samsung 4K TV. It works every time for me except for the occasional bit of buffering but that usually is sorted out by clearing my iPad memory. I found that it will even stream my 4K 30 fps action camera videos without buffering. This app makes it worth while recording in 4K and storing locally rather than trying to upload large files into cloud storage.
As someone else says in the reviews it does seem to get better with each update.

Utter rubbish - does not work
Do not buy this app as it does not work!
There are no warnings that iTunes media will not play atall, first of all.
Media loads from CDs will not play and neither will my own photographs!
Connection between TV and iPhone is hit and miss at the very best - but even when you do connect NOTHING plays or displays.
Do not waste you money.

Won't play 4K
I recently upgraded my TVs to 4K and got a new iPhone 6s for the 4K video recording. Will stream my old HD recordings (although it can take forever) but my 4K stuff comes up "unable to play, this file cannot be recognised "

It's a great app and works with other apps
I use this app a lot to stream to my Samsung smart TV. It work really well and it works with other apps so I can create slideshows with background music..... Love it, it gets a A* from me x

They do not list the tv boxes this works with but from the specs it should work with Roku but doesn't. Waste of £3.

It works well now.
Despite the one stars for this further down. I downloaded it and gave it a go. It works perfectly. Simply select a video, select your TV and away you go. No problems at all here with this.

I've been waiting for an app as good as this.
I've been waiting for an app as good as this for a long time, it's so easy to use even my 6 year old can use it. No more sending stuff to clouds and waiting for them reload! I can even use it on my friends smart TV. This is excellent! 5 stars!

Does not work
Once installed, my iPhone 5 became visible to my LG smart TV but no matter what I tried I was unable to watch any video. I tried streaming a 2minute video as a test and the conversion/buffer lasted longer than the video only for nothing to happen at the end. After half an hour of frustration I deleted the app - two quid down the toilet.

Why there should be a refund scheme
Bought this to play music on my lg smart tv. All it does is crash, clearly not a working app so why is it being sold? Apple need to have a set up where if enough people give it one star they review the app, if it's not fit for purpose refunds should be given and the app taken off the store. £2 isn't a whole lot of money on the grand scheme of things but I could of given it to a stranger and got more enjoyment. It's a crapp not an app sort it out apple!

Another disappointment
While this app does detect my NAS drive and NP30 uPnP as soon as I click a file to play it crashes. Hopefully I can get my money back as it it not fit for purpose and does not work. Maybe I'll try it again in a few months after a few updates.
