Amazing, such a great introduction
It’s a complex sport but this app works at whatever level you are at. With suggestions, guides for where the pieces can move, really fun videos for beginners and experts alike. All apps should be this good.

Brilliant for beginner kids and adults!
Me and my daughter are learning to play chess on this app! We’ve had hours of fun already and have played against each other!
The coach feature is really helpful and teaches you how to keep your eyes open and can be turned on and off at will.
We live this app!
Also the options of Usernames are hilarious!

Have to get gold membership😡 but still like how you can play against your team and parents do recommend but you should know you have to get membership and they are lots of money.
I did get a membership for like 3 years or something like that but now I have to get it again and just like to say KIDS do things on this and they don’t have any money 💴 so like think about that. Make gold membership go so people can actually enjoy your app

SO worth the money

Great app
This is a great app and the design is very intuitive. Sometimes sound doesn’t work on videos. Please fix. There seem to be no workarounds either
Edit: my bad. The sound works when you are not on silent from the iPhone physical button. It is probably a feature as some other apps do that too.

Very good but...
This app is excellent for learning chess and I got better at chess just because of this app and it allows me to get a membership with no problem and I can play in tournaments at the period of covid.
The only problem is that the app glitches and it drops me down rating points. For example, I was playing a game as black and when it was my turn to play a move, it premoved the move and it immediately said white won, game abandoned. I did not abandon the game...

On safari you can message with chess kid but on the app it’s LIMITED THINGS! Maybe do an upgrade to get it like the on3 on safari but....... I LOVE IT WELL DONE 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁(if it had the things I suggested, 5 stars!)

Firstly, DO NOT GET THIS APP! It’s absolutely trash. It keeps crashing and even if you decide to play on the website, IT KEEPS CRASHING AND GLITCHING. Do NOT play any tournaments ON THIS CAUSE IT WILL GLITCH. If I could I’d rate it 0/5 stars. PLS DONT GET THIS! Another terrible thing is sometimes if your opponent runs out of time, YOU sometimes LOSE!!!!!! AND YOU LOSE YOUR RATING! I had 1164 as my rating but now I have 1001 as my rating cause it keeps crashing. I can tell bc I was playing against my friend, who I must say, isn’t awesome, and I APPARENTLY LOST. I KNOW BC I MADE A MOVE AND 10 seconds LATER I ‘LOST’! CAN U BELIEVE IT! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP AT ALL!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡. ChessKid is an amazing game and I do like it but there a bugs and loads of lags and problems..also,the gold membership should not be needed..some kids go onto ChessKid and buy it by accident when there parents told them not to.Please change these problems then I can rate it 5 stars😊
