Brilliant App

A comprehensive view of the Tour for beginner or experienced cyclist. Excellent information presented in a readable form. All the information you need to analyse what’s going on. The best feature is the Live coverage used in conjunction with TV coverage. Brilliant! Another great year of pro cycling coverage. Well worth the money. Will purchase again and again!

Awful

Bought this specifically for the Vuelta today, so I could find out the routes in order to find the best places to view the race. After choosing Bolneuvo shame I can’t show you the map😏 the race didn’t even go that way and so thanks to this app I missed the 2018 Vuelta stage 6.

To say I am annoyed is an understatement as they usually miss out this region all together😡

We downloaded this app which was excellent. Then on the third day it said you have used free time.

Didn’t remember seeing this on the download

Paid for it and downloaded on family sharing but it still runs out after 3 days. We want our £2.99 back

Not great

Results, which is what I bought it for. Very delayed. Last year much more efficient. Deceptively trying to get you to buy a more expensive package. Disappointing.

Live isn’t live

The live tab is always over 1km behind the actual race which makes the notifications really late, eg 5km to finish or KOM. Not sure how it tracks if it’s so out of sync with reality. Going back to the official tour app, which is free.

It's got everything you need to follow the tour

Absolutely fantastic app. Every time I go to it I discover a new feature I love. Just seen the zoomable profile with live updates of the tete de la course and peloton! Just don't tell your boss you've got it running!

Fantasy league closed

Disappointed that there wasn’t a warning when you purchased the pro app advising the fantasy league was closed. I only upgraded so I join the league. Wasted £4.99!!

Free version now pointless

What is the point of the free version of this app now? Since the update a couple of days ago, during the Dauphiné, there are no up to date stage results - just a message suggesting you “check back later”, and the mapping details behind the stage route graphic have disappeared. This adds to the long list of features that you can only now access by upgrading to the paid version.

Quit the pretence that this is a free app with in app purchases now, please. It only functions in any realistic sense as a paid app.

Super app with loads of useful info. Not sure how much video actually happens but that is all over Eurosport anyway. Minor thing is I’d like more info on daily points scoring for fantasy league

Impressive.

The app does exactly what I want, and some.

I particularly like the stage and stage profile information which includes maximum and average gradients for the climbs.

I also like the fantasy option as it gives you a bit of extra interest on each stage as your GC and other riders in your team gain points.

Had a small issue updating my phone app to the Team version but the developer got back to me within a couple of hours with the reason and it’s now resolved.

Good app to provide a summary of the race stages, riders, etc, but don’t rely on it for up to the minute information on the race.

Just Superb

This is head and shoulders above any other Tour app. So obviously put together by a team that knows cycling inside out, the more you play with it the more useful information you discover, all laid out in a very logical way. Fast access to stage profiles with active tracking of riders, rider info either organsised by team or race number, it just goes on and on. Can not recommend it high enough, as a cyclist, this is the app I have always wanted.

I find this most useful before, during and after the races. In particular, I enjoy the facility to track the various groups of riders live in terms of relative position in the race and in distance and elevation.

Fantastic app for cycling fans

I’ve been using this app for several years and would thoroughly recommend it. I normally subscribe with the Pro or Team option as the one off fee is very reasonable given the amount of data provided and the races/stages it covers. If you’re at all unsure then give the free trial a go and you can see for yourself.

App won't 'upgrade to PRO' on iPad despite originally working fine after free period. Restored purchase & d/l fresh version but continually hangs when asked to upgrade. Better off on the official Vuelta website this time round

Have used this app in previous years and free version was fine for me. I updated it this year and it no longer offers a free version just a 5 day free trial. Thought I'd give it a try anyway but it constantly crashed so I've deleted it. Hugely disappointed.

There was a problem with the calendar which couldn't be resolved however, the support of the app is excellent, very quick to reply and try to resolve any issues.

Update does not work

Just updated for the Criterium and app now crashes as soon as you try to open it. Hopefully the fix is on its way.

Best App

If you follow cycling Grand Tours there is no better way. This is the best App. on my IPad bar non. They are not sure they have the funds to continue. I have used it for several years free. I have just subscribed. Wish I had done it sooner, sorry you guys. Hope you continue I will continue to subscribe.
