It could be better
I’ve been playing this game for about two days now, it’s really enjoyable if you like games where you read a lot, but it was kinda hard to get into, with there being no tutorial at all you are just kinda guessing as to how you start, but don’t give up you’ll get there 😂.
As for improvements as said above a tutorial would be nice, and if it was explained as to how you can get more listeners and how to keep it stable, overall it’s a great game though, I’d like to see updates though as I don’t think it should be given up on like a lot of games nowadays.

I would have 2 separate categories : albums and mixtapes. And then have them on separate tabs. Also you can’t choose your own track list order, and most features get bunched up together on your track list. Also to be able to import your own album or mixtape covers.

Honestly this game is great, the only thing I will add though is that I wish there was a way to give yourself a better chance when starting new.
For example almost like a prestige, you keep some of the money from your previous save to help you on your new one.
I think this feature is needed because when starting out fresh you won’t become successful untill mid to late 2030s.
But it’s also a free game with no adds and the developer has done an amazing job with this game and I hope he keeps working and improving❤️

Things to add. ( Take into consideration. )
So, there’s nothing glitching for me. This is one of my favourite music simulators, but I think it would be better if it was harder to get nominated for Grammys or get #1 on the billboard. Because I could have 1000 monthly listeners and be nominated for a Grammy which isn’t necessarily realistic. Speaking of, I think you should up the monthly listeners because I had a song get 46B streams ( which I also think you should tone down ) and had 30M monthly listeners which again, isn’t the most realistic. And, instead of only getting Grammys, you could get for example: VMAs, AMAs, etc and if you win you could choose your speeches. You could also upgrade the billboard, instead of just seeing your own songs, you could see other people’s songs so you may have some competition. For example, it could give you an estimate of how many streams it would get next week, and if the song in #1 would get 33M streams next week, and the #2 song would get 21M, they could release instrumentals, sped-up versions, features, remixes to the songs to boost their songs to #1. As well as that, maybe when you release a song, it has more staying power. For example, my song could get 80M in a week, then get 60M next week which means it won’t be able to stay #1 for a long amount of time if it’s streams are decreasing. Or the opposite, it could start at like #10 and slowly climb up the charts. Choosing where your artist originates could upgrade the game as well. I think you could add a feature where you can customise your character’s personality so you can feel more connected to your music artist. As well as that, you can pick what the song is about, say break-up, a diss track or something else. You could feel more connected to songs if you could have a feature where you could write a song about a specific experience or just anything to make a more in-depth way to write songs. You could a pop-up where it says, ‘Your song “…” has gone viral on…” as it can add more depth and reason to why your song is doing well and make it more realistic. I would prefer that if you don’t have a feature on your song, you can still get a high-rated, popular song without a feature’s push. I wish you could have more control over your tour so you can make set lists, add opening artists, stage sets and merchandise. Also, so you can organise interviews, hold album campaigns and concerts by getting a manager. Please take this into consideration, I think it would upgrade the game so much! I know it’s allot, but please respond to see if you can do this. If you need any help identifying what I mean on specific ideas, feel free to ask. Thank you!

Great Game but achievements tab isn’t working
Brilliant game defo worth the play. However I have found that the achievements tab doesn’t work properly. I have performed almost every major festival as a headline act as well as performing to over 1.5+ mil fans but it doesn’t show that in my achievements as being complete. Please fix this.
Also it’s really annoying if you forget to click on the Gram nomination at the end of week 42 you miss out on it for that year. There should be a better way of doing this

Everything about this app amazes me but the fact that you barely get any money from making songs is extremely frustrating. I downloaded this app wanting to make songs out of free will. GRAM nominations, song production, and record label artists
currently maxed out my singers stats to 110 but the songs im creating are still being rated at 75 or 83 even when i spend energy increasing the production seems quite unfair seeing as i paid for the max energy boosts to make better music and it still isn’t letting me make better produced tracks…
each of my albums are also rated above 75 and yet im not getting many GRAM nominations or winning any of the categories i get nominated in however my record label artists who produce albums lower than 70 are sweeping with ease. they’re also gaining more monthly listens which doesn’t really make much sense.
basically my overall complaint is that we as musicians aren’t growing logically.

A very good game with more potential
I rate this game very highly I feel like if you could make your own character buy things for your character it will add more to the game. I feel like you should also add different ways to get money maybe illegally and their can be consequences to your action it gives more of a storyline it’ll make the game even more fun but other than that I’m really enjoying this game. I feel like you should add things like taking your family on holiday like we need more things to do to add to the game please otherwise it gets boring and repetitive.

i genuinely love this game and spend sm time on it. i enjoy making songs and the process of that. i think that monthly listeners should be higher as it’s not very accurate but i do think that the game is v good. i love my chirp fans and that i can become my child. when you are 97 it’s hard to find energy to become your child but i found a way. if you’ve got multiple kids then abandon all the ones you don’t want or they’ll get inheritance and let’s be honest you want it all.

Things To consider adding
I absolutely love this game and i have been playing for a while now but i think it is missing some features like for example you have to start of your career from scratch and make songs instead of sending demos to labels to try and get signed. For a real life example Taylor Swift got signed at 14 and became mega successful. i also think its very unrealistic that you can make 60 albums within a full lifetime. that is not realistic. i also think albums could maybe re enter the charts due to an artist becoming relevant again or due to social media.

Glitch issue
Love the game it’s great but there’s this glitch that’s happened to me 2 times when I reach a certain level of success usually around 33-35 yrs old one of my albums just starts making infinite money and as well I only won stuff from the awards thing at the start of my career I won nothing towards my prime years which doesn’t make sense

Incredible game! - Updated
This is an amazing game for what it’s worth, there’s a lot more to it that just creating and releasing music! Able to create your own label, invest in companies and property plus loads more. For an ad free game you don’t need to pay a penny for anything but I would happily buy this game for then to add more features to immerse the user in the music simulator world! Excited to see what else they update with this game really hope they can bring more to it
Since they have updated this game it’s still a tremendous wee game to sit and play through only issue is that there is no way to get any nominations. I’m selling/streaming songs in the billions and yet none of them seem to get even a nomination for the awards section which would be good to fix if this is a potential bug!

CM Manager for Music industry
I dont normally write the review but this app is well-addicted and I felt that I have to. The level of addiction is comparable to Championship Manager. You could do a few years within a hour once you had stable stats in the game.
Recently on the relationship tap I came across some bugs where you cannot delete previous relationships and previous matches. Hope this got fix in the future update. Otherwise I think this is one of the best game and well worth playing

Great game, lots of detail
So I’ve been looking for a game like this for a long time and I’ve come close to finding some good ones but unfortunately they weren’t the best — very hard to progress, expensive in app purchases, etc.
This game on the other hand is a lot easier to play, has a lot of detail, and I think it only came out about a month ago so I’m excited to see more updates. It’s a lot of fun and you’ll be immersed for hours. I haven’t explored the full depths yet but it seems pretty great so far.
A small suggestion is that maybe we could create an avatar to demonstrate how our artist looks? It’s nothing massive, just a small suggestion to add to the immersion.
I haven’t come across any bugs so far.
Overall, this game is great and I recommend playing. It can get you hooked for hours and the progression is enjoyable.

Addictively Incredible
This is by far the best music game I have played. There’s so many ways to play and you can keep grinding money even without dropping any music.
I’m currently sitting at 5 billion… which kinda goes to show how addictive this game is.

Really enjoying what’s been released so far. Not a great deal more for me to do currently but I’m not sure how to keep the artists happiness up that are signed to my label? I have all the top perks and benefits available and try to coach when I can (albeit energy consuming) but many of my artists have gone down to 0 happiness. Is there anything I’m missing?

This game is so addictive however, there is a bug where once you reach 20 startups in your portfolio you can not have any more. Even the one that have been ipo or acquired they stay in the portfolio and once it has reached twenty the pitch deck always says there was nothing of interest. I would live if startups that have been ipo and acquired were in a separate portfolio of your startup history.

the best game you’ve made
i’ve been a fan of this development team for a while however all of their other games were quite hard to really progress in it’d be really easy to get into massive amounts of debt and be forced to start over but this one is fantastic really nice to see how you’ve progressed i’ve been playing for a week and can’t stop, sitting at 127 mil and still going with a label but also with the label i’m finding that really hard to make money in i have a level 100 studio and my personal artist not signed is level 100 in all of the categories apart from virality and all of the demos i’m receiving are from really i suppose underground not great artists, also energy seems really hard to maintain but other than that i’m having a lot of fun with it and i’m excited for what’s to come

Too much fun
I got this game a few days ago and I’ve been hooked, this is pretty much the best music career simulator game on the App Store, everything is perfectly balanced in my opinion and the fun never ends.
The only thing for improvement I’d say, is maybe to be able to have more than one feature in a song and more business ideas like mercy (which i know is coming soon)

this is the best music simulator there is, i’ve been waiting for a game like this for so long, there’s no random pop up ads which is amazing and it’s updated with new features really regularly id be more than happy to pay for this game if i had, some features i’d really like to see would be more random chart runs and streams etc so having songs climb up the chart and to have ways to promote them after they’re released and also having random songs on the charts so it’s not just your own songs on there, and to have an albums chart instead of just singles! i really look forward to seeing how this game progresses in the future :)

Amazing Game, A Few Questions
I love this game, and having enjoyed previous titles made by this company as well, this one does stand out as the best simulator so far. Highly recommend.
But I have a few questions:
1. How come pitch deck has an upper limit? There’s only so many projects I can invest in before “being bored” and not investing. Even when my current projects get acquired and is no longer a project, I can’t get another investment
2. How can I increase energy reliably? It seems energy, after increasing standards of living to the max, can only fluctuate up or down 1 or 2 through checkups. Is there a way to actually increase energy ? I want to max out my vitality stat and that needs like 200 energy
2. When will the personal label and merch features come out? Looking forwards to them!

A entertaining for sure!
I really enjoy this game .. It keeps me entertained during my downtime .. I look forward to upcoming features .. like “create a artist” and “merch” I would enjoy a chart board concept also with what the other artists in the world have archived in a year and how our interactions with each other impact sales and revenue etc .. And how I sit in that list .. More properties to purchase .. maybe scheduling tours with your artists and opening acts to help boost their following etc (having artists on your labelling going on tour together too .. to help boost new artists and old ones etc) .. erm maybe more lifestyle options also .. Because at this point I’m a multibillionaire and nothing to really do with my money .. So maybe go deeper into the portfolio and business side of things .. Because once your own label is booming the need to be an artist diminishes (just doing it for the fans now) and the business / CEO concept increases and the game progression should reflect that in some way .. Either way I really enjoy it and wish great things for you ..
I really enjoy immersive simulation games like this and have played every other simulation game you guys have made and love them all .. I wish you good luck with everything in the future 🙏🏾

Meh…
I thought this game looked cool so I downloaded it but uninstalled it within a few days after finding out how SLOW it takes to lift your music career off the ground. It takes so much time and there’s literally nothing else to do except get a job and even then you’re on a 5 week contract so it goes so fast. Update it to be more fun please, then maybe i’ll come back.

Good game but still feels early in the development cycle.
The game is fun, especially in the hour or two of gameplay where you aren’t in the initial grind to get any recognition, and you haven’t yet made it and are sat with hundreds of millions in the bank account. That said the initial grind was long, probably in part because there was little in the way of instruction as to how to develop and grow to help you along. Once you’ve become incredibly successful it gets stale fast too as the create your own studio doesn’t seem to work and there’s no payoff for buying shares in companies or owning properties as you’re already loaded either way. Would recommend though as it’s fun for a few hours.

Has Potential, but needs more work.
This game was fun until I got into a lot of debt because of the contract agreement, once you’re in a lot of debt, It’s impossible to get out of it. I tried lowering my expenses, however you need a “minimum amount” to lower them, I tried making a new album, but you also need money for that, and the jobs don’t pay enough.
More ways to earn money would be good.
I also think the break between tours should be lowered, and you should be allowed to do small venue tours when you’re not signed to a contract.
