Extortionate price!!!
I was so excited by this app, finally a decent way to try and meet people my own in age in my area. I struck up a nice conversation with someone, then on day two the app is telling me people have liked my profile but I need to pay £200 for the privilege!!
Get a grip Bumble, we’re in a cost of living crisis.

A lot to improve
There are many things wrong with this app.
1. As a lot of people have pointed out, the prices are excessive and completely unaffordable. I personally have been okay using the free version in the past but it is frustrating if I accidentally swiped left on someone I would have loved to connect with but it the cost is far too high that I would even consider paying to go back. The same applies to “travelling” in the app. It would be great to meet people who are open and willing to friends from all around the world but it is not realistic with the prices.
2. Only being able to connect with your specific gender is bad for a range of reasons. A model where you can choose who NOT to see is much better for those not wanting to limit their connections. I often have to put my gender as woman even though I feel more comfortable with non-binary as there aren’t as many people who have their gender set as that. This makes me uncomfortable. It also is very telling of Bumble’s lack of understanding and their simplification of gender and how it should be neatly separated in 3 categories when things aren’t so strict these days. Multiple people have been bringing this up for a long time and I strongly think this should be revised ASAP. It is understandable when BFF was included in the overall Bumble app but since it has been removed and now is a separate app there is no excuse to not allow this to be something better that does not need to follow the exact same pattern as before.
3. For some reason it is showing nobody to match with even though I am currently in Madrid which previously had a lot of people on the original Bumble app and have all my settings set to max and gender set to woman.
I love the concept but it is becoming harder and harder to be interested in using this app. My second point really impacts my experience the most and I would even consider using it again and recommend it to others if this was changed despite high prices. Please do something about this, good friendship apps are few and far between and there is no good reason to not change this.

Flop
The concept of the app is amazing. However, hardly anything can be done unless I pay for premium! It’s such a let down. Starting conversations shouldn’t be a premium feature, it defeats the whole purpose of the app!

Keeps crashing
Would be a good app if it let me upload my photos and gave me connections. My settings were set to within 50 miles and I’m in London and I’d just signed up and it still said I’d been through all my possible connections??
It also deleted one of my pics for going against guidelines but I was in a turtleneck silk dress so nothing was showing? And now when I add photos they just don’t show up at all.

As everyone else says - good app in principle but way too expensive to actually use it and no way to see who has liked you in free version, not even one.
I can’t justify spending this much on an app with how much the cost of living is right now. Shame ☹️

Rubbish
I’ve struggled to get verified using my photos. It just won’t recognise me even though the photos have no makeup. And now I’ve no access to my account. The customer service is rubbish as they don’t respond to messages asking for help. I totally hate this app mainly because they don’t support their users. I was really looking forward to making some friends here.

It’s a great idea but absolutely ridiculous in the way it’s executed. You have to pay crazy amounts just to be able to function with it basically, your likes are even LIMITED unless you PAY and you can barely put enough information about you! Bumble team should be ashamed of themselves. Imagine saying you are trying to help people but then manipulating the whole process for money!

Garbage
Bumble is living in the 1930s and have decided that everyone must be segregated based on their gender.
This time they have helpfully allowed you to configure your gender in great detail so that they can make sure they reduce the number of people you see as close to zero as possible.
This stupidity is not just reserved for those with a traditional male/female gender, it’s also for non binary.
Bumble genuinely believe that if you are non binary you can only be friends with other non binary people.
At this point I wish they would take their abhorrent beliefs and leave the App Store, or perhaps be thrown off it by Apple.
Taking up space and drawing people into a garbage app like this serves no one but the incredibly greedy and sexist developers.

Please reduce the Premium Price as it's ridiculously priced
I love the app and how it helps me to find friends who share the same interests etc... I cant even see the people who liked my profile. There should be perfect line drawn what you can do in free app and what not. In free version you literally get nothing!! To view the people who liked your profile could be in free version imo. Maybe set a limit per month for the free version and unlimited view could be premium?Or atleast have a trail period for premium please?
The premium for a month is £44 that shows per week £10 - I dont know why it shows for a week when you have to pay for entire month?Thats also very expensive imo, its more than the number of days in a month lol..
As a trail period, £10 a week maybe would be helpful or if the £44 for entire month is drastically reduced to less than 20 or 15 - is ok-ish? If you still want to make it expensive atleast bring in "types of premium" subscriptions maybe?
The app is such a brilliant idea just the pricing is something stopping me to use the app for someone who is ready to do the subscription yet its very extremely expensive!

Ridiculous app. Didn’t show me any profiles, even when I changed settings to find people. I deleted my account. Bumble doesn’t deserve any stars, but you have to give them at least one to write a review. Don’t waste your time with this con app

Such a shame
I was so excited to make new friends, spent AGES on my profile then only to discover as soon as I want to see who has ‘liked’ it or engage with anyone in ANY way I have to pay - and it’s £200?!! So all I can do on the free version is have a profile that won’t actually serve me in any way? Such a disappointment and an extortionate price point. Capitalising on loneliness is a low move I can’t believe you can’t make it any more affordable. Advice to anyone downloading - it has zero friend making functionality if you don’t pay, so I wouldn’t bother, there must be something more realistically priced out there.

Safety Concerns!
Love the concept but it's ridiculously expensive to join as premium member so accessing potential friend matches is virtually impossible, but my main concern is from a safety perspective. There's no option to tweak the location you're actually in. As I live in a small village, to stay safe online I always input my location with the nearest large town to me (less than 4 miles away) but the app automatically gives your actual geographical location and living in such a small place that potentially opens me up to danger - there are weirdos out there!!! I contacted Bumble about this but have yet to receive a response. I really hope they sort this out.
With regards to the pricing - come on Bumble guys - after covid many of us are still struggling with feelings of loneliness and have become isolated. BFF is a really useful tool to connect with people and could potentially help alleviate the mental health crisis the pandemic largely created. It's been a tough few years with many losing their jobs and loads of us are struggling in the current economic climate -would it really hurt you that much to lower the price and make it more affordable for people? Why not team up with a couple of mental health charities and offer some free or discounted memberships? Do some good...

Disappointing
I spent a while making my profile and then going through other people’s profiles, and then when I went to see the 5 likes I have received, was very sad and disappointed to find that the only way I can see who my potential new friends are is if I pay. And it’s no small amount of money either (min. £5.06 per week!!). So I’m going to delete it now. Very disappointing. I’m sure there are other apps that are either free or much cheaper, go for those instead.

Good, to an extent
The app itself is an amazing concept and I’m glad it’s becoming easier to make friends online, especially ones who you don’t live across the other side of the world from.
BUT
these likes are killing me. They don’t tell you when they reset and i’ve now been 48 hours without a single like back - not to mention I refuse to pay £200 on an app EVER. (please give us a number of likes and a countdown to getting them back that’s all)

The app itself functions fine, I just don’t understand why I’m exclusively shown men. I understand that it’s not to ‘date’ but surely you should still be able to talk to other genders

Liking it so far but…
So it seems really good, I like the layout, I like the ease of it, I like how much information you can put on however I do not like how easily you run out of likes (unless you pay for premium 🙄) and it also doesn’t say how long it is until you get more? It just seems unnecessary, they say it’s out there for ‘mindful swiping’ but it feels unnecessary.
