Decent but won’t load sometimes

The game is good when it works. Frequently it just won’t load up. I get all the title screens, then it just goes black.

The auto save is also worse than in previous versions. It’s unreliable and I’ve had to play the same game multiple times because I assumed it would auto save after each game but it doesn’t.

Crashing Issue

I’ve long been a player of the FM franchise (going right back to the very first Championship Manager in the 90’s). In 2026, it’s crazy that this is probably the buggiest version of any of the games i’ve played in the last 30 years.

Unfortunately the game is prone to crashing at certain points. It’s happened to me on two separate saves after multiple seasons of gameplay. Deleting the game and reloading it from ICloud doesn’t work, nor does clearing the cache.

It seems to be a common theme when you run the issue through a search engine, so I won’t be wasting any more of my time playing through seasons when there is a high possibility that the game will just cease to work again.

Need help with crashing

Was having fun with the game and managed to get to July 1st 2031 with Dartford after being sacked in the first season with Exeter, however it’s not 5 stars because I can’t progress from this date as shown because it keeps crashing, have messaged SEGA about the crashes but they were no help on how to upload an exported save file to see if they can fix it, they haven’t responded to my recent emails and been lacklustre with the help offered

Game will not continue past 4th July 2027

I’ve been managing at Salisbury City for 2 years. Things are progressing well after promotion to National League. However, I am unable to progress past 4th July 2027. I click continue and the game just shuts down.

UPDATE: 08/01/26 - No response regarding the issue from developer. Last fix was 4 weeks ago, which did not address this bug.

There is an option for players to report an issue through the App but this function does not work. You click send report and nothing occurs.

No matter what team I use, what formation, play style or instructions... I'm unable to score any goals at all. Spend all of every game on the back foot, conceding last minute winners constantly. Even buying superstars doesn't help. Deleted

Makes no sense!

I have stuck with it. 13 yrs into career and managed 14 teams across 4 divisions from elite to league 1 bankrupt. Been sacked 14 times!!!!! Used a different formations at each club and stuck with it. Recommended and clean slate but same formation. Cannot get any consistency. Batter top of the league 4/5 and then same formation next week loose by the odd goal in the last few mins to the bottom side. Every year for 13yrs. Players getting 3 and 4 out of 10 every other week and some are “World Class”.

Don’t expect it to be easy, we have all taken a div 2 side to champions league glory in previous versions, but this is just plain crazy.

Loads of money or none, world class players or free transfers, any formation you like, the same thing happens year on year. Something wrong with the AI surely?

Dark mode for PL games please

Can we please have a dark mode for the game screen on Premier League games. Every other screen is dark apart from Premier League and it’s very jarring on the eyes.

Looks deep but tactics don’t matter

The biggest problem is that the game pretends to be tactical, but gives you almost no reliable feedback on whether your decisions are actually working. You can make logical changes, react to opponents, manage game states properly — and still get wildly inconsistent outcomes with no clear explanation why.

Against weaker teams especially, matches often feel decided by hidden momentum, morale, rather than tactical choices. Possession, shots, and shape don’t translate consistently into chances, which makes it impossible to learn or improve in a meaningful way.

I don’t expect football to be deterministic, but I do expect a management game to reward good decision-making over time. FM 26 Mobile feels opaque, frustrating, and overly scripted, especially for players who want to engage seriously with tactics rather than just run presets and hope.

Firstly, I love this game. The mobile version is superb, thankfully I’m into my 9th season and I’ve had no issues with the game crashing. It’s so easy to pick up and play to realise you’ve lost an hour.. However I cannot understand the ability star rating system. I send my scouts out to rate the potential of a player and they come back with 5 stars ‘he’ll be a world class player!’. So I re-scout him just to check an I get the same result. Brilliant! I’ve found a hidden gem, a wonderkid!

Then they join and they’re now only 3 stars ‘Will never reach the potential of your best midfielder’. Great, I’ve just wasted £35million..

So I send them out on loan and they’re back up to 4.5 stars ‘better than your current best midfielder’!.. Amazing! So I recall them and as soon as I do, without even playing a game they are back to 3 stars and ‘never reaching the potential’.. It’s driving me mad!

The players in my first team will drop from 5 star rating to a 3 star and back up again throughout the season so I think I’ll sell them but then I start a new season and the whole team are back up to 5 stars!

I get current ability may go up and down a bit (2/3 stars seems pretty drastic) but I can’t get my head around a young players potential dropping and increasing constantly throughout the season.

‘Next’ button bug

When I download the game, and press on the app to open it, it takes me to the ‘Next’ button to sign into my Netflix account, and it doesnt take me to that, the next button just goes darker and keeps me on the same screen, i have deleted the game multiple times and downloaded it again, but it still won’t work

Frustrating and unrealistic

First time I’ve ever played this and deleted before winning the league. It’s by far the worst rendition of this franchise. When it comes to injuries, transfers, tactics - everything is just hopelessly unrealistic. Experimenting on several fixtures, playing them each around 20 times with multiple variations of personnel and tactics, and the outcome of the game remains pretty much the same expect for occasional random 6-4 result. Repeatedly opposition equalises the moment after you score, you get injuries to your best players, weaker opposition are able to beat you over and over. The game is tediously frustrating now. If making changes to your team and tactics have no bearing on the result - what is the point of the game?

Impossible clean sheets

I have lived FM for as long as I can remember, but this might be the worst one I’ve played. The tactical options are minimal and unless you play as a top team you just get constantly peppered with shots. Also guaranteed your big money signing will play terribly for the 1st season.

Overall excellent- would be even better if. The relationship between adjustment in contract clauses helped reach close agreement in close negotiations I.e dropping minimum fee doesn’t seem to help.

Can’t seem to work to remove player tendencies I.e dives into tackles.

Could add conversations around retraining I.e. if you train to be a left back I think you can make the first team.

Could also make conversations with board so if you can raise x in funds then we can develop training facilities.

Selling or loaning player became hard

For some reason in this years edition to sell or loan players from your team has became almost impossible or very difficult you put player to available to loan or be bought but don’t receive any offers, in the last editions this wasn’t a problem you could easily sell or loan player, now with this your team gets full and you are not even able to buy more players because the lack of space

Great game as per also slightly more difficult this year which makes it more enjoyable as it has been a bit too easy formerly. However very annoying how broken academy system is. Every year I get about 4 players who have world class potential which is very unrealistic and kills the joy of occasionally nurturing a good academy player, especially as I managed Bristol city whose academy is pretty poor irl.

Fix it!

Ok I loved fm24 and I also love fm26 but there is some big problems. The problems are that every single game no matter the team there is a player who has a 5 or below match rating I mean I get it every once In a while but every game is too much. The second problem is it just go’s to a black screen while trying to get on the game. The third problem is it is só unrealistic I will best top of the league and struggle to even draw with bottom of the league! This problem just happened I was assembling the best team ever like CR7, Messi, Pele, Maradona and I spent 3 and a half of hours of my life trying to get it right and suddenly I went on the game and it was completely gone my other careers were there but not that one you guys really need to fix this game as it is driving me mad

Players fearing teams below them

Really is poor in playing as West Ham games I should be winning I’m losing players fearing the opposition all the time,, no matter what tactics I’m using counter attacking what ever doesn’t work big game players shouldn’t be fearing any opposition as they will be up for that game what data have you put into for West Ham as we seem worse than an Hyman league team also transfers don’t make sense my players go for little while anyone I buy is always high value and have to pay mega money to sign anyone,, going on losing streaks even on teams you should be winning even tho all your players are motivated to win the game you lose 5.2 sort it out already

Good game but…

Player shows as ‘interested’ in Player search. Place bid, bid accepted by club, shows in messages that the bid is accepted and agent is eager for move to go ahead, but when getting to offer contract screen, player states that they are not interested in moving to your club at this time. I have tried changing the squad status, contract length etc but no luck. Annoying that the player shows as interested in the player search box but then is not interested when offering contract.

Still bad after updates!

Even after the updates the game is shocking! Still things like training not working many other irritating bugs and crashes. I’ve tried and tried but I just can’t get into it. If anything I have more issues after the update than before. Even without its many issues the game just isn’t immersive enough. It’s as if the only club that exists is the one you manage. No news comes into your inbox about anything else domestically or across any other league. If you want to find anything out you have to click through about 10 things to get to it! An absolute horror show of a game! 2 years of waiting for this!

Extremely addictive and really enjoyable. Navigating around the menus is not complex at all, however playing FM 24 and now 26 there’s far too many things that are just identical. Other than the licensing there’s nothing significantly different, very poor from that aspect as they have potential to make it much more in depth

Good but annoying bugs

Always have loved playing a bit of fm but 2 bugs on fm26 since I updated it have been quite irritating.

1. When ever I get some new players from the academy they are all automatically wanted by Chelsea for some weird reason

2. I got a weird bug during a really good save I had going and when I left the club it wouldn’t let me apply for anymore jobs

Worst version yet

Easily the worst version of this game to date what a waste of time it was waiting from FM 24. So many screens are incomplete as are graphics. When you have an injured player, there is nothing obvious that tells you which player is injured and you are stuck on that screen, guessing which player it is. The simple tactic screen that we’ve had before is disappeared now we have this overcomplicated mess. All I want to do is drag players into a position without having to mess around with in and out of possession each time. on more detailed screens you can’t widen columns to read the information and you have to click through various screens just to view a contract date. The transfers are awful as is the transfer tab. When you play in Europe, it doesn’t display the time or the scoreboard so you’re constantly guessing at what points to make substitutions.. If you’re lucky enough to score a goal, the screen goes blank and you can’t get out of it. Nearly every player in my appears black. Elliot Anderson and Declan Rice or black players. When I want a trophy, the hands of the character for the manager were white while his face was just a black dot. So much is wrong and it’s been clearly rushed to get this out on time it’s absolutely ruined the brand.

I want 2024 back

Football manager updates have been bug ridden over the years. I have played for many years and it often needs update after update for the first few weeks. That’s fine it’s complex.

However I play the game by taking non league teams up through the leagues. This year you start with 15k player budget. You buy and sell players and it start the season with 13k wage bill, well in budget. Then after a couple of months the budget drops suddenly to 11k. You become over budget so you have to sell players in January. You re adjust and then the budget suddenly drops again a few weeks later.

Tried several teams and it always happens. My first go was Macclesfield. Ideally fix it and I will look to change the review.

Buggy!!!

First of all making my own manager with doing my background of where I was born and so on, started a new save my name is now where I’m born.

Game doesn’t flow after selecting formation for tactics it doesn’t allow you to press continue so I’m having to mess around pressing a different formation numerous amounts of times for it to work. Game is sluggish with only selecting only two leagues.

Please fix! Spent plenty of hours on previous versions and after waiting a gap year for FM26 it’s absolutely guttering.

FM26

The worst version of FM on a mobile I’ve ever played. Clearly made for console and PC and the new unity engine is not transferable to a mobile. Words are overlapped and can’t be read, the game lags constantly, and the new user interface is not user friendly on a mobile at all. You can’t see what positions your subs play and is so hard to navigate to make changes to lineups. I’ve been told the Netflix version is similar to FM24 interface so that will be better as that’s not using the unity engine. I would advise anyone to not waste their time with this game when downloading it off of Apple Arcade. I hope it’s just glitches as it’s a new game out but for now unity engine set up doesn’t work well on mobile.

Not as “REALISTIC” as everyone makes out

I don’t get the hype about this game really, it’s a good game don’t get me wrong and it’s detailed in alot of pointless aspects. The main ones seem to ruin the game for me.

Teams just don’t ever take interest in your players. Unless you transfer list them in which case they will never buy them for more than their “value” so you end up being offered 10M for a wonder kid which should be 60M realistically.

The other and most annoying is the seemingly inconsistent results you get that just don’t make sense. And on the other hand, the ridiculously consistent results that means when you’re 3-0 up from a first leg, you get beat by 4 goals most times?

It’s very good, but even with the best team ever you just lose ridiculous games for no apparent reason

Great…… but

I’ve played every version of this since around 2016 and everyone improves upon the previous….. I really like the game and was so pleased when it was available on Netflix. However, since the update a couple of months back it’s hit or miss if the game loads …… I get all the opening screens and when it should show new game, load game etc. I just get a white screen. It’s starting to becoming annoying, no matter what I try I can’t get past the white screen and this never happens before.

Need Number of ASSISTS on previous years before the starting year

class game, love this version as it’s the og one i remember from years ago. the only thing i would say is under the history section on a players profile, we need the amount of assists per season as well. it counts them from when you start the save but it would be really nice to see the ones of the seasons before the save start. it has the goals there just missing the assists/ av match rating too. small fix and just a small noticeable thing for someone who loves the smaller numbers in the game! would highly recommend this tho 5⭐️

Good Game But….

This has got the potential to be a really good but there’s so many annoyances it’s never going to be unless changes are made. 90% of the games, you go 1 down. You can play top of the league and beat them, play bottom of the league with the same team, same set up and get thrashed 4-0. You sell a player on and then check the player once sold and the value has tripled and all other stats have gone up loads. Luckily I’ve got a Netflix account but wouldn’t be happy paying what would be circa £10 a month for this. It’s rubbish and just not realistic. Steer clear until realism and updates have been added. Waste of money and time.

Very Good game

This is a very good game and it even led me to buying the actual Football manager but there are a few issues like match realness. I was playing as arsenal and scheduled a friendly against port vale and they won 3-1. Also it randomly deletes your saves and I think there should be a quick sim button. Other than that it’s really good and I suggest you download

Not very good

Basically it’s rubbish. I want to log in and play a quick game on the train or whatever but I HAVE to have internet access? It’s becoming too much of a “thing” now. 20 minutes just to set up for a game? If I want an all immersive game like this I’ll get a laptop version. It’s meant to be quick and easy! The interface is rubbish and the ai is awful. Been playing these since championship manager 95 and it’s so far away from enjoyable like it was back then. The last good version in my opinion was fmm19 but that’s no longer available. If it was I’d get that and buy the editor!

Great but transfers need improving

Love the game, always great to use to find talent worldwide and then watch in real life.

Only annoying thing about the game I find is how annoying they make it to sell players in particular. Buying is fine with the negotiating, but is it just me or whenever a club severely underbid for your player, it’s almost impossible to negotiate terms? Why are they always so stubborn? And on top of that, when I transfer list players, they’re barely bid for no matter if they’re a player who never plays or one of my better and more expensive players. Why??

Overpriced at Free

I’ve not played a football manager game for years and after 1 friendly I remember why lol. I chose Sheffield Wednesday to ‘manage’ and we have Wealdstone at Home in a friendly. At Full time Sheffield Wednesday 1 - 2 Wealdstone. Cory Andrew’s aged 26, valued at 14k and with a shooting stat of 11/20 bags a brace with a 100% conversion rate. We have 14 shots, 6 on target and a goal disallowed lol. The developers will claim “that’s football” and “poor management” but it’s an Utter nonsense. I’m not sure what the algorithms are but they are without doubt illogical. I’ll tell you this tho, if I was managing Wealdstone with the same 11 against Sheffield Wednesday with the same 11 the algorithms are giving me a Wealdstone Loss. The positives, the game was free and I realised quickly that football manager games are a load of tosh and only wasted around 20 mins.

Awful

Would not recommend this game. The realism is just not there. I was able to progress fairly well up through the leagues as I usually do on previous iterations of this game, however getting to the premier league it seems the results/performances of the teams are all over the place. Beating Liverpool 3-0 away, then losing 4-0 at home to bottom of the league. Same players, same tactics, crazily bad simulations. I can take losing here and there but when it’s this far off, it’s just not even worth investing the time in. Plus I had an issue where every time I attempted to save a tactic I would reset it back to the default which was incredibly frustrating.

Game deletes your FM saves

Played FM for a long time now, since 2012, on multiple devices. Love it a lot however the phone version is awful at saving games. I was ten years into a Mallorca save and the game deleted everything so had to start up again. I was three years into a Yeovil save and again it deleted everything. It has happened to me before on FM21 where I was 20years into a save and it deleted it. So from then onwards I click ‘save game’ before closing the app. It works most of the time however not all of the time. Which isn’t good for a game like FM where you want longevity. I’ve even saved it to ICloud but again it deletes the save.

So, no matter how short or long the Career mode is or how you save it eventually it will get deleted.

Netflix connection issues are frustrating

Sometimes you can have Netflix app actively open (not that you need to) on the right account, and then still get a white screen just before the load game section and 9/10 times I get this and you go through a painful login screen. Did something happen in the last month to break this?? This is a new issue and ruining the game for me, sometimes we can’t have stable internet connections either, they should really resolve this, sometimes we go on holiday to places with weak internet connections in the UK 😒 please improve the offline experience

Love the game but so many bugs lately

I have been a champ manager and football manager fan for as long as I can remember but since going to Netflix the bugs and crashes are becoming a joke. Crashes when saving game then takes forever to reload just a blank white screen haven’t been able to play for over a week I only subscribe to Netflix for the game and it’s really disappointing that I can’t actually play. Deleted and reinstalled and lost all my game data that I had spent hours and hours building games 2036 was my longest save. Please please please sort this out

Netflix subscription to play the game?

I am giving this a one star which is absolutely nothing to do with the actual game itself.

The game is practically the best manager game on the market ever since championship manager that was brought out a long time ago.

It is one thing to own the product, but to place the game behind your Netflix subscription is not the way to go.

Before you were able to purchase the game for a fee and unfortunately Netflix do not allow you the option of doing so, obviously because they would like to monopolise the game to earn a substantially more monetary value on the product.

I am quite happy to change my review if in the future the option is given to service users whether to purchase or subscribe/rent the product.

I purchased the previous product for PC last year and have had no problems with the product. I am not even sure now if it is even possible to get this on PC as I have not done any research yet but the previous version was magic and I have read some reviews that say, that this product has changed since Netflix have taken it under their wing.

Keep losing saved games

This is the 4th time this has happened to me. I’m not sure how or why it happens but sometimes you’ll just lose all your saved data.

I was 8 or 9 seasons deep into my journeyman career, I logged on to check the status of a player for a mate, logged off and closed the game without saving and I log back on to play and there is no existence of my saved data anywhere.

There’s no reason for this to happen with the frequent auto saves and regular manual saves I make, only for the game to randomly delete all your progress as and when it feels like it. Why would I bother playing the game when a bug like this exists?

Disgraceful to sell out to Netflix

I have been playing FM for years and it’s always been my favourite game. However it is an absolute disgrace to have to have a Netflix account. I am in Vietnam and you can’t even use Netflix games here so I’m unable to download it. How ridiculous is it that I can’t play FM because of the country I’m in. Beyond fuming. Furthermore, if I wasn’t piggybacking off someone else’s Netflix account there is no way I would pay for an account myself - how can you think it’s fair to make someone pay roughly £120 for a season of FM. Unless you go back to a one off payment next year you’ve lost a loyal customer forever ( I suspect many others will go the same way too).

5 seasons of progress wasted

Overall it can be considered a great game and although I have made the mistake previously of not backing up my data on iCloud to find all my saves wiped with no apparent reason from there Netflix support team who seem to have very little knowledge other then restarting and looking for updates, I have learnt from my mistake and have genuinely enjoyed the game until being met be by an endless progress loading screen when trying to access my most recent save and again no support from the Netflix chat line is really disheartening considering the amount of time I’ve put into the game Update: After receiving guidance how to contact the support team I was met with a generated response and to wait a few days, it has been nearly a month with no help regarding the problem and the issue still has not been resolved in game. Truly disappointing and expect more from a game of this calibre

Edited: Looks good but saves vanishing is major issue.

I have been a loyal fan for over 20 years of FM and Champ Man, so seeing this years mobile version look this smart and come at no additional cost beyond my Netflix account was welcome. Initially I was pleased with the annual improvements. Very much more of the same with new leagues and enhancements. But out of nowhere save files and manager profiles disappear, which is bonkers for a game that encourages lengthy game time. To say Netflix’s support for/understanding of the the issue was poor would be overstating. By all accounts this is a known issue that has been left for months.

Update* Received message that issue had been fixed.

Can confirm that my previous save was unrecoverable. Pushed on with a new career and after 6 seasons without major issues the save disappeared again. Can’t believe that something as basic and crucial as the save function has been broken this year. Has not been an issue on previous versions.

Lost multiple saved games

Gameplay is fine however I have lost two games (5 seasons deep in one save) and one season deep in another game. Based on what is said online I’m not the only one and it has been going on for long and no obvious fixes or reason why it is happening. 05/02: Response to developer- I have updated the app however all the games that suddenly disappeared are still not available. I have lost another save since this review so will no longer be playing till this issue is resolved. 26/04: response to developer. Updated and still previous saves have not returned back. Will not be returning to use the game as this has happened frequently and clearly there’s no fixes to the issue.

What a let down

The game itself has hardly changed which is fine with me. I’ve played this since the very beginning and it has given me a lot of fun. However, this years offering is just awful I’m sad to say. I utterly hate seeing the Netflix logo as I know I will have to look at it 3-5 times whilst I watch the game freeze upon opening. I already had a Netflix account but if I didn’t I would be furious at the cost. I sincerely hope this is dropped next year and the optional paid ‘cheats’ such as seat on the board and sugar daddy are put back in along with more comprehensive challenges that have also been left out. Similarly to other users I have experienced the game randomly dropping saves. I personally find the save layout confusing. All in all this is what not to do with a fantastic game. Such a shame.

Only 1 complaint.

I understand everyone’s anger to the Netflix ownership of this game. However as someone who has never played it before. My only complaint is when you make your own players. You can not choose how they look like. So I have people who i created are black in the game, but white in real life. People who are white in the game, who are black in real life. If you could choose the players avatar. Then the game would be fantastic.

Love it, but the bug is back!

Love how simple and addictive this game is, I love football management games and how deep they can be but this is the perfect balance between depth and simplicity. Easy to play on the move but also could sit hours playing. Only thing that’s kept it from being 5star is when I’m playing CL fixtures, it kicks me out the game before the match is finished and even if I’m 3-0 up, when I reload the game the same team and team talk and sometimes the result can go against me! This happened on the last edition for ages and only seems to be champions league matches for some reason. Please fix this and I will give 5 stars ✌️

Not as fun as old Championship Manager series

background/color of the game is very off putting for some reason. Too many unnecessary features, makes the game grindy. Just not as intuitive as a user interface. Not fun to play or get into. And seems more difficult, even with a strong team, and strong appropriate tactics or adjustments, only winning a few matches. Also some missing additional features would be nice. Why can I not disable all face pictures either?

Can’t even get past sign-up page

I was playing older versions of this game series for a long time and thought I’d download the latest version, however I can’t even get onto the game itself, the Netflix sign ins and terms/ conditions pages and payment approval pages are just plagued with bugs, the options which you have to select are even blanked out, hilarious, must have had to restart the app about two dozen times, but nothing works, just another perfect example of another corporate company monopolising into the gaming industry, not having a clue what they’re doing, inheriting a popular franchise and attempting to drive it into the ground, can’t even get basics right

Definitely improved slightly on last year but can’t rate more than 1* as saves keep disappearing which is obviously a massive pain. Seems like it’s been happening since release as well and nothing has been done.

Poor Support

Have played this game for several years without problem. When the collaboration with Netfix took place the game keeps freezing up. I’ve done all the usual stuff…. Uninstall, check memory capacity…all those things…but it keeps freezing. I contacted Netflix tech support…. should have called spec savers for a much good they were.. and I quote “ unfortunately we can’t help you at this time, please continue to enjoy the game and if you have any future issues..please don’t hesitate to contact us “…. WHY ! … you can’t solve this problem…. VERY disappointed , not to mention out of pocket… won’t be buying this again …

Saved games disappear

Could be a great game, hard to tell really because when you save the game and close it down. Even for a few hours. You can’t pick up where you left off. 5 new games I’ve tried. I’ve tried all ways to save but given up now. Might try again if I see an update but until then, it’s a waste of my time.

Edit after receiving developer response I tried again and it did seem they had fixed the issue but then unfortunately after 3 seasons I lost almost the entire game. My only way back in was 3-4 months into season 1.

It seems the auto saves have been lost, as that was probably the point I stopped manually saving it after building trust in it.

Enjoying the game… BUT, and it’s a big But…

FM24 is a minor upgrade on previous years, and I am enjoying playing, BUT my big gripe is I didn’t have a Netflix account, and didn’t really want one, especially when all previous FMs have been a one off payment of under £10, now it’s roughly £10 a month… that’s £120 a year!!!

Then there’s the other Issue, I’m paying a small fortune for a game that has now decided to deletes all saves, and then soon after I’d restarted the game after playing 3 1/2 seasons, it just crashed after 1-2 games and I’d lose any progress made. I did manage to resolve the issue for now by deleting and reinstalling, and so far I’ve had no further problems, but should it happen again I will cancel my subscription.

Enjoying playing BUT…

The game hasn’t changed hugely from previous years, I am enjoying the FM24, however I’m not overly thrilled that I couldn’t just purchase the game, and I’m now paying roughly £10 a month for a subscription I didn’t really want.

Played 3 1/2 seasons only to discover my entire saved games had vanished into thin air… and then the following day the game would crash and I’d lose any progression I’d made, I deleted the the game and reinstalled, for now it appears to resolved the issue of crashing, however should it happen again I’ll probably cancel my Netflix account and return to the previous years game.

Better but still has annoying aspects

As per annually usual, this new version is 98% the same as the previous year’s edition. A few colours are different, the tactics selection process takes longer due to new selection screen for subs. Opposition managers are still tactically inept & there is still no exciting anticipation in VAR moments as the score line still changes before the decision is made.

All in all, the game is the same as last years with very little attention to the bits that need improving

Not bad but some improvements can be made

Having tried both this one and the apple arcade one, it is clear why this is free. The apple arcade version has the exact interface that the console version has on fm23, making it much easier to navigate and giving a much more realistic experience . This version is good for being free, but they need to change the potential. The way it works is completely different compared to other versions, with some players who would normally be at least 4 star potential only being able to hit 2.5 stars. Overall, it is a decent game but some things could make it even better

Constant crashes and can’t sign free players

The game has refused to go any further after I created my own team and some wonderkids, got to the 2nd game of the season and now it just closes the application when I try to advance.

On top of that, I agreed contracts with about 7 different players on a free transfer at the start of the game as I needed depth and 6-7 weeks into the game and they are still ‘considering their options’ after they had already agreed terms with me. So it seems like a stupid bug that prevents you from signing players on a free.

I just wanted to see if they would decide before the deadline day as why on earth would they choose to be without a club.. but I couldn’t get that far because the game now just crashes all the time.

So frustrating and such a waste of time. They need to fix this before the 1 stars keep flooding in and they will never be able to get a good average again.

Also what is up with needing a netflix account!?

Improved From Last Year

For someone like myself that already uses Netflix the idea of not having to pay for the game is great 8.99 was cheap but I’ll take the fact that you no longer need to pay it

The game has received significant improvements from last year team talks are now a big part to play and seeing pundit reviews and supporters views on a game greatly enhanced the experience

Thus far no issues with the game that others are reporting and enjoying the game thoroughly
