Fined even though I downloaded this app and started my parking session
I parked my car..downloaded the app, registered my vehicle at the location. 17 minutes later I checked the app and couldn’t find any record of my car being registered at this location, so I registered it again…The following week I receive a £60 fine email for those 17 minutes that had been lost in the ether. I’m furious.

First time using the app, overcharged for my parking.
All other parking apps, you select the time, you pay. I selected the duration, went to pay, amount was “£0”. Thinking it was my mistake I tried a different payment method, same thing. Then I noticed it was a pay on exit thing. Ok, so I assumed after my chosen duration expired the payment would go out. So I did my meeting, finished a bit early, back in the car, drove home and THEN received a notification to say my time was running out, did I want to extend? Most other apps, because you’ve paid, you can ignore the notification if you’ve already left and don’t need to extend. BUT I suddenly twigged I had to MANUALLY END the parking session IN THE APP, and THEN the payment went. If I’d ignored the notification because I was already home, didn’t need an extension and not opened the app again, goodness knows how much I would’ve been charged - probably received a fine, like many others. Horrendous! There was NO indication that the app worked like that, and NO reminders on the exit gates of the car park. I had no choice in using this app and this car park, but if you can, AVOID!! One star because I can’t put zero.

Another badly implemented app
App didn’t work, ticket machine didn’t work, called phone number as well. Guess what location wasn’t recognised.
Car park full of frustrated people. Lost 45 minutes. In the end a lovely helpful HUMAN BEING at the venue took my payment so we could get on with our lives. Why are so many of these poor quality apps unleashed on us?
Let me guess - progress, convenience?
No - it’s driven by cost cutting, low investment, maximum profit.

Careful. This app charges you nothing when you first park. So you think it hasn’t worked and buy a paper ticket with cash. Boom. 2 hours later the app charges you as well. Dreadful interface as well.

A Scam - be warned
Like others I have been scammed by this app. I parked for 47 minutes and should have been charged £1.70. Instead I was charged £20.20. I have emailed support and provided all the information they requested and have heard nothing since. I rang the support telephone number only to be bounced from person to person who said they couldn’t help. Avoid.

A Scam
Like countless other people, I downloaded the app, entered the location, entered by car reg, entered the payment details, paid for my parking session only to receive a PCN within a couple of days. No record of my session, no payment taken. I have a distinct memory of following every instruction to the letter and even looking at the confirmation page with all of the details! I have now appealed and have accused them of fraud. They are aware of this being an issue, have not fixed it and are continuing to fine people who genuinely thought that they’d paid for their parking. I will never use the is app again.

Avoid this scam of a company! They took a whole month to sort out my parking permit. They ignore all phone calls and emails. I then got a fine for parking in my own parking space. Complete scam.

What is a ‘convenience fee’?
Apparently, this is added to your parking charge but you won’t know why. Also, if you start a parking session, don’t assume the camera system checks you out and ends the charge. You have to end it manually on the app. A pile of rubbish and another example of why parking firms have bad reputations.

Appalling app and customer service
ANPR doesn’t work, we are using it in our staff carpark. It was registering me coming and going and then it stopped meaning I parked without paying on two occasions. Contacted Sippi who said next time don’t email as they barely check it. Also told me that I should have contacted them on the day even though I clearly told them I didn’t realise until a couple of days later. Who knew a parking app could be so rubbish!

I would probably avoid a car park if I meant I had to use this app again. More hassle than it’s worth. Took 20 minutes to stop parking by which time we’d run over our time. Couldn’t extend as the app kept crashing, utter rubbish.

Sadly I’ve had issues with this company. I recently received a parking charge for a date where I had paid. I have a receipt and attempted to contact the customer services but emails bounce back and I’ve waited too long trying to call them even though only 2nd in their queue. Very poor.

Will charge you for a full day
My father had visited a hospital (you don’t do that because of pleasure) and ended up downloading the app for paying for his carpark. He initiated the stay went as normal for the appointment and upon exit at the carpark barrier paid by card as it is an instinct for drivers to do so and found it easier that way. Obviously, like other comments here mentioned the NAPR is not linked to the app so it wouldn’t know you have exited the carpark. He ended up paying physically at the barrier and £15.40 via Sippi for a WHOLE DAY. Please do yourself a favour, avoid using the service, avoid making problems for yourself. And if you do, customer service won’t be on your side as they want to keep your £££.

First it gave me error message that apple pay is not available, also showed me 0 charges initially, i thought since its Sunday some car parks don't charge anything. Later to my surprise it charges me 2.50 £ for one hour and local machine was charging 2.50£ for three hours. Misleadingly and overpriced. Avoid at all cost.

Be warned!
Very easy to misuse this app and get a parking ticket. The slide bar is non standard and there is no warning you need to use it once you’ve entered your card details. Easy to add the wrong registration if you are using multiple cars. Needs a complete overhaul to prevent users making innocent errors.

Horrible service they are a scam.
Their whole set up is completely messed up it’s not like the traditional parking app where u select the time you want to be parked and that’s it. You have to swipe once you’ve left the parking lot and me without knowing this swiped thinking it’s to confirm so I got charged for 2 minutes parking when I initially selected 2 hours. Got a pcn as well and they reject any appeals. Don’t use them.

Avoid Sippi at all costs
Sippi is, without a doubt, the worst parking application I’ve ever used. The app itself is a mess. It looks like it was designed by a student learning programming, with a clunky, outdated interface that’s painful to navigate. But the real kicker is its functionality (or lack thereof). It can’t even handle basic residential parking, forcing me to use their website instead. What’s the point of an app if it doesn’t work for its core purpose?
And don’t even get me started on their support team. While I’ve never contacted them about the app itself (because, frankly, it’s beyond repair), I’ve had to deal with them for other issues, and they were completely useless. They offer no real solutions, just empty responses that leave you more frustrated than before.
On top of all this, Sippi seems to prioritize one thing: charging exorbitant prices. They set their rates as high as possible without providing any value or reliability in return.
Do yourself a favor and avoid Sippi at all costs. There are far better parking solutions out there, this one is a waste of time, money, and energy.

Confusing App
Rather than working like all other parking apps - this one works differently. It gets you to select the desired parking duration up front and then asked you end the session when you finish. If you forget to cancel it at the end it carries on charging. If your phone goes flat you are stuffed

Scam alert!
Don’t use this app. I recently downloaded it and after 15 frustrating minutes had confirmation that I’d paid for parking. A week later, I received a parking ticket for non payment. There is nothing in the Sippi app history and no money has been taken from my card for proof that I paid. I would not have left my car unless I had confirmation. Looking at the other reviews it looks like I’m not the only one to find out this app can’t be trusted the hard way. If you have to use it, screenshot the confirmation.

Worst App ever
I am a resident of marbrook court who is managed by CPM & they recently changed from paper permits to online permits. Using the sippi app, let me tell you there is no way of getting a vistor permit ANYWHERE. Its like the purposely make it difficult to gain access to where I can get a vistor permit so they can give tickets. No one can ever come and visit me because they cant park outside my flat. This is the first review I have ever written on a app, I had to write this to warn everyone NOT to park anywhere on these sites as I genuinely think they make it so hard to get a visitor permit because they want to give tickets out.

Appalling customer service
I and my daughter parked in the same car park. We both downloaded the app and paid using it. At least my daughter thought she had paid but a few hours after leaving the parking she realized that she hadn’t paid. She immediately send a message via the app asking how she could pay and also called the next day. When she called she was told that “it’s now out of our hands”…. More than a week later she received a £60 penalty charge.
This App and the people that run it are immensely unsympathetic. I deleted the App and will pay cash next time.

Over complicated, confusing interface. Be aware you pay on exit. Have now had two PCNs, not because I didn’t pay but, because the entry/exit photos didn’t exactly match time parked. Complete rip off

Do not use this service!
I recently had a quite awful experience with this app during a visit to a hospital car park. By mistake, I initiated a parking session via the app without realising that the car park operated on a pay-on-exit system. After discovering the mistake, I paid for my parking at an exit machine because it was simpler, thinking the issue was resolved. However, the app still had my session running, which led to it charging me for 12 hours of parking that I never used, even though ANPR would have clocked me leaving against the session I already paid for. This is a possibly purposeful oversight in the app's functionality, causing unnecessary stress and cost. It needs a clearer indication of parking rules per location to prevent such issues. They also seem to not have a link the the existing ANPR system used in the car park, so are ignoring entrance and exit times. As it stands, I ended up paying six times more for parking than I should have… Resolving this with customer support is a no go. I’d avoid this app at all costs, unless you want to be inadvertently overcharged. Crooks

Appalling app, had to set it up, thought I had paid for parking as got a confirmation notice and realised that evening payment hadn’t been made. Now have a PCN charge after contacting their service desk that evening to try to notify them of the oversight and missing payment (checked my bank account and didn’t see the money had gone out) and having to fight it (first challenge to the PCN has been denied).

I have downloaded Sippi and paid for parking through Sippi app. However I have still received a parking notice from their sister company called UK car park management. But both the companies act as if they ate unaware of the other and they could not rectify my issue. They frustrate you enough to pay parking charge to waste further time. Joke of a parking app. Signed up to pay via app because it was the only way for parking at a hospital car park. App mentioned that payment would be automatically taken after I left the car park. Although I only stayed for 45 minutes, I was charged for 24 hours because I couldnt “prove” I left after 45 minutes! Much more complicated payment process than normal parking apps like Ringo just so they can catch you out. Will never use again.

If I could give it zero stars, that would be too generous. You *have* to accept they can spam your email, and you have to give them a phone number as well. It asks for excessive permissions. Then they add 20p commission for every use. Disgraceful.
