I haven't played this game in a while. Played today and the ads just kill the game. Ads after EVERY answer. I'll be deleting it, which is a shame, since it is quite a good game. They need to allow two or three answers before an ad appears, as you lose the flow of the game.

Good but....
Fun app, but clues are written either too vaguely that they could mean two different things (like what diagonal answers might be on) or sometimes clues are missing entirely. The last level I played, I put down all words described/showed but still had an open cell with nothing in it. I ran through every clue three times to see if I'd missed anything. Nope. Clue was missing entirely and I had to use a hint to fill it out.

**Edit** a “dark/night mode” would be nice for people like me that likes to play before go to sleep and even with minimum brightness in my phone the game still too bright. . Just a suggestion! (Loving the game) I like the game and Im enjoying every night before go to sleep. One of the issues is the ads, they are annoying but ok you can paid. Also the keyboard is very slow. But what I really don’t like is that some of the levels have no information about one word so you have to ask for a clue because that word is not in the other cells or described to try to guess. It could be a mistake of course but I’m really enjoying it

Ads are ridiculously bad
I don’t mind an ad or two in a free game but this takes the biscuit. Not only does each ad require 4 attempts to close/skip but the amount of “ad breaks” during the round just drives you insane. I counted 5 during one round and therefore instantly deleted this game. Shockingly annoying!!!

If you prefer to watch constant and never ending adverts rather than playing an actual game then go for Lexilogic. It excels in this far more than any other game and what’s more it looks as if the developer Hitapps Games is not going to change this so go for it.

Great game but unable to play…..
I was really enjoying this game so paid to remove the ads. Having done so, I now find the bottom line of the keyboard is covered by the ad banner at the bottom of the screen making it impossible to play the game!

Generally I am enjoying this game but I am put off by the amount and length of the ads. I plan to stop playing for a while - the frustration is spoiling it for me.

It’s so sad how many developers only care about money that they ruin the game experience by flooding it with adverts. No one makes games for people to enjoy anymore. It’s all about the money for developers. I literally had one more square to fill out but wait ad break first. Fill out the last square and guess what another ad! I think I played this for 5 mins into level 6 and I’ve had enough. I’ve probably had more ads in 5 minutes than I can count on both hands. Deleted.

I love the game, however, the writing is too small, I’m not that old and do wear glasses but I struggle to read the words!

I agree with other players that there are TOO MANY ADS and those ads are FAR TOO LONG, far longer than in other apps I play. It’s so frustrating that I often abandon a game for a while because my blood pressure sky rockets. And that’s me paying to have ads removed!!! I love the game itself, it keeps so many parts of the brain active, but for the sake of my sanity, and of those around me, I may just have to look for something else.

Having to continually scroll is a pain, especially when there is no landscape option.

Great app ads completely ruin it
I have had this app for a few days now. Love the puzzles it’s unique and I enjoy playing the game. I am at the point now where I am getting an add every time I submit an answer and it is incredibly over the top and frustrating. The developers have completely ruined this game with the amount of ads it’s just unplayable. Anyone who downloaded it would inevitably delete it after a few days like I am about to. Please reduce the ads because it’s a great game otherwise. Even one ad after every board is completed is excessive but would be a lot better than 5/6 per board it’s really bad.

Great concept but it is NOT logical!
This is a great concept for a game, but the execution is just bad! I’m only on level 3 and I’m already annoyed enough to write a review!! The logic clues are illogical, and don’t give enough information to actually be able to fill in another square! For example, first clue on level 3, with cell C1 filled in as “HIEROGLYPH”, is “A1 is a plant that grew near the A3 river. Papyrus as a plant was also used as a writing surface”. There is nowhere to go with that which isn’t a complete guess! The same happened on level 2, although it was more that the clue was written in a confusing way. Given I’m only 3 levels in and already annoyed, I can’t say I’m going to continue with the game, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either!

bad. dont bother downloading
this game is bad. it has mistakes which ruined my experience. one of the clues it gave me was that pluto was on the table somewhere, and another was that the word in E4 was something that was previously a planet in the solar system, and then was classified as a dwarf planet in 2006, meaning pluto would be in E4. however, i had to restart the round twice and then waste a hint after losing all my lives putting pluto in E4 where it told me to, only for the hint to reveal the actual answer which was pluto in E5. i am angry. fix your game. also there are far too many ads which are not justifiable given the quality of the game. why am i spending half my time on this app watching ads and the other half having to deal with mistakes in the game which lead me into a loop of frustration in which it is impossible for me to find the correct answers without using my hints? so annoyed.

FAR TOO MANY ADVERTISEMENTS!!!!
Initially I thought this might be good - it is a good idea and something different. But I can’t be doing with ads DURING a puzzle (not once but THREE times, and that was on only level 4). I understand that ads fund the game BETWEEN puzzles, but the quantity isn’t acceptable.
Also making notes isn’t easy (can’t write on more than one line and no comma available) and not being able to see the whole puzzle on even an iPad screen makes it more challenging still.
I’m sorry but having only played it 4 times, I’m deleting it.

Good concept guess work/logic game
Good game but the layout is pretty bad in that you have to scroll left right most of the time. Why not have it landscape mode?
Keys are, more often than not, unresponsive. Clues are sometimes not enough to fill in the squares and you have to guess the options which defeats the object of a Logic Game!
Ads??? OMG absolutely terrible. Watching about 2 or 3 minute’s of ads to play and most of the time, the ads are poor quality dubbed rubbish!!! Americans might be used to this brainwashing mentality. No thanks- deleted

Update is rubbish, not playable
This update has rendered the game unplayable because you have put adverts in for every move, press system= ads, answer a question = ads add a life = ads, and then it stops working. To remove this ridicules amount of ads, I get to pay nearly £6 so I can play the game. I spent 10 minutes with the game open but actually played for about 2 of those as so much time watching ads.
Please fix this silliness or I’ll just delete the game, this is not fun waiting for yet another set of ads

Nice challenge but could be better!
I’d love it if it could be turned to landscape on the larger games as it would be easier to see the whole board. Also, when typing on the bottom row, the trolley icon obscures the word you’re typing which, when combined with the fact that the typing keyboard isn’t always reliable, you can mis-spell words and not even realise.

So much potential
Great concept for a game but the number of / length of ads is infuriating!! I'm not against paying to get rid of ads but the length of ads for lives / hints is excruciating.
Keyboard could be improved, or game recognise words similar to correct one. I keep losing lives over a typo and then have to sit through a feature length ad to try again.
The game itself is great and I would certainly stick with it and play more with a few tweaks.

Far too many adverts
As my title states - there are far too many adverts. You get one wrong and you get an advert. You get one right, you get an advert. Additionally, they are long adverts and you can’t get rid of them quickly by clicking on the x! You also lose your track of thought by the constant advert interruptions. Good but needs improvement
This is a very good game, but I do love a login puzzle. This would have been 5 starts but the developers need to do some serious improvements to better gameplay.
1. The ads are far to frequent! Almost every 2 answered I input there’s a forced add. It’s makes it frustrating to play. (No I don’t want to pay for free). Adds at the start/end of a game is better.
2. The typing feature: there is something wrong with how the in game keyboard works. When you press a letter it doesn’t always show up causing you too misspell and loose a life.
3. The option to play the game landscape would be great. The table is sometimes far too long for it it be played properly.
If the above were fixed/ fine tuned it would make the app excellent.

Good but flawed
Great concept but there are some improvements which need to be made. The keyboard isn’t very responsive so you can often tap a letter and it doesn’t actually type it in which has then led to errors and lives lost. The amount of ads is crazy, I paid to remove them because I was enjoying the game and I have no issue with that. However the only way to get extra hints is a tonne of adverts or you pay for an expensive bundle of hints. It would be good to say have 5-10 a day and they refresh. I don’t like paying to have adverts removed and then still need to watch them if a clue isn’t clear or you need an extra life because the interface wasn’t responsive. It would be helpful to accept British spellings too, again that catches you out even when the word is correct. The interface could do with a full screen option, it’s difficult to keep track when scrolling back and forth. I’d also like a dark mode so it’s a bit easier on my eyes. So yes, great concept but could do with some improvements.

Love this game and am now on level 197 and have paid for no ads. The problem is that some clues are wrong saying words are on a diagonal which they aren’t and spelling is wrong (superheroes and villains) lair is spelt liar. Which means you have to watch an ad to get a clue or lose a life, I know that doesn’t take too long but is is frustrating and shouldn’t happen

Good but could be improved
An excellent concept for a puzzle. The main problem is the fixed size and orientation of the grid, which means that it is impossible to see the entire area. This can be important in determining possible cells for an answer and because it can be helpful to see the clue to ensure the correct spelling of an answer. The other problem is the adverts. I appreciate that you need them for the income but the way that they appear in the middle of a level is most irritating. (I would probably pay to remove the ads if it wasn’t for the first problem).

Could be a good game with a lot of work
Ignoring the ad situation which everyone else has rightly complained about, the game has a good concept, I really like that you can tell the length of the solutions to help with placement, but it lacks so many vital features that would bring me back.
Needs: Dark mode; acceptance of British/Australian spellings; a way to mark off clues you’re finished with; landscape mode; and zoom (with font size settings - on the iPad you could easily see the entire grid, but also other users might want the font bigger). If you buy adfree then clues should be on a timer, not locked behind more ads.

Really enjoyed this app at first but the ads were annoying so paid £5.99 for no ads. Now there are very few clues and you have to guess where the answers are which means you lose your lives and have to watch ads to get more lives in order to carry on!!!! What a con. I will be deleting this app.

Brilliant game but the ads spoil it the higher the levels the more the ads lost my place which cost me lives and more ads also it has no leeway for answers. In one game I knew the answer was the sphinx it kept marking it wrong I kept loosing lives getting more ads and the specific answer was ‘the great sphinx of Giza’ ermmm there should be leeway to the answer and less ads gotten bored with game because of the ads that is why you only get three stars

Before I pay money, I like to see if I can get somewhere with a game but with so many ads interrupting the puzzle, I just cannot get to enjoy it and hence I will not be paying.

I am enjoying this game but would be a good idea if the whole grid for on the page, maybe better if you could rotate the screen so it moved round instead of being in portrait, so you don’t have to keep moving the game side to side, that’s why only given 3 stars

Too many ads and other glitches
Sadly I’m going to remove this after just a few levels. The ad interruption is off the scale. Fine between levels but after every 4 or 5 squares completed is just ridiculous. Also I can’t see how to view the whole grid at once so that makes it difficult. It looks like we need to guess at some spelling and spacing which makes losing a life likely. Game needs improving but could be really good and enjoyable.

I really like the concept of this game, but OMG the adverts are HORRENDOUS!!! So, so many of them! Why do I have to watch an advert when I have won a clue and a long one at that!!! Also not enough lives given, this also generates even more adverts! It’s a great game really,really spoiled! I will probably delete in a couple of days when I get frustrated completely! Come on up your game!

Original Idea
The frequent ads can be annoying and it would be good to see the whole table however this game is a great fun and I find myself coming back for just another go. Thank you for your unusual game. It’s worth the cost of cutting out the ads for me.

The ads ruin it!!!
I have to agree with others that whole I like the concept of the game, the amount of ads completely ruin it - I just had three in one game, not before or after, but in the game! Sort out the ads and I would love to play this game. Not even an option to pay a small amount to stop ads. I know the companies have to make money but this is ridiculous, one ad in between each game would be plenty and then keep some For clues etc. but not constantly coming.

A lot of potential
As others have said, there are far too many ads on this game. Inbetween levels I can tolerate, but not in the middle of a puzzle. Especially when they’re ALL about fantasy/lust games. Bit weird.
The spelling also annoys me - e.g I guessed pyjamas which I lost a life for when the correct answer was pajamas which is exactly the same thing.

I like the concept but find the spacing annoying. They should make it correct to say both sun cream and suncream. Currently one version only is correct. Also I appreciate that it’s American spellings but when you’ve tried every egg breakfast dish going and it’s Omelet - aaargh!! I had to Google how words are spelt in the US.

Ads are too frequent and vile
Really enjoyed this game, but I’d expect an ad when I’ve finished a level, not 5 times during the level. When I’m trying to concentrate and work out the logic an ad comes along and completely spoils my train of thought. Moreover these are ads for horrible games - things that turn my stomach. So, much as I enjoy the game and might be able to tolerate the frequency of the ads, I’m deleting the app because I don’t want to see these vile ads every few minutes.

Good concept, poor execution
I read the other review that said there was too much guessing for this to be fun, but thought I’d try it anyway… got to puzzle 22 before there was just zero logic involved. Not enough clues to work out what goes where, or indeed, the names of the things that you’re trying to place. For example, one of the clues (early in the puzzle) says there’s a melon “in E3 and F3 but only one is water”. There’s no further clues to allow you to deduce logically which is watermelon, so you have to guess, (and when you’re wrong, lose a life) and then who knows what the other melon is?! I’ve placed all the other things using the clues, and that’s literally all I can do next - guess every type of melon there might be and …? So great concept, but terrible clues!

My review :)
The game concept is very good and I enjoy it. However when I try to type in an answer it tells me I’m wrong. So I end up using a clue to find out the answer, only to find out that what I had been writing in was the actual correct answer and it was telling me I was wrong for no reason. Please get this fixed as I actually enjoy this game!!!!

Good idea for a game but can be very annoying at times
The idea on the whole for the game is fun and it can be very enjoyable however there are a few things which could be improved. Sometimes clues are not very clear which ends up meaning you fail levels for no reason. I also can’t find the option to view the full grid on one screen which makes it more difficult. The main issue though is the ads. At first they only happened when you completed a level but as I completed levels they were just random while you were doing puzzles. I found this distracting and often caused me to lose my train of thought. I understand ads might be needed but is there any option to get them between levels only as it really impacts my enjoyment of the game.
