Unplayable due to bugs and poor game design
This adventure game has a very good and engaging story, but it is let down by software glitches and poor game design. I have lost count of the number of times the game crashed on my iPad, probably more than 10. Fortunately, most progress is automatically saved. What really lets down the game is the poor game design. In numerous places, you have to perform actions that don’t serve to advance the story. For example, leaving and immediately re-entering a room. Another issue is that some items can’t be picked up unless you have talked to the right characters, because of this you end up running back and forth picking up items you have already discovered and realised you will need in the future. The worst was probably the puzzle where you have to perform the same trip to pick up water 5 times before progressing.

What a shame
Played this game many years ago and the fully runaway series in fact on PC just found the game today after not realising it was on iPhone! Played the first episode no problem but I have the same issue as another reviewer as in after you talk to the restorer she runs to the laser and then runs back again. The game then froze and now my character is standing on a bench about 300 miles away, you can click on the inventory and look inside and interact with those items but as soon as you click anywhere else on the screen ie to move or interact an instant crash, I would’ve thought the newer phones would’ve handled this better but the iPhone 11 Pro Max just still doesn’t help! A massive shame as I found this game the best out of all 3!

Constantly crashes
Have to reinstall and replay chapters then it crashes again.
Really annoying. Developers seem to think we have money to throw away and don’t seem to care they’re ripping people off

Very Good
Played it in an iPad Pro. It worked fine most of the way. A couple of glitches where it crashed to home screen, but when restarting the game it was fine. Only in a couple of places was it hard to find objects or join/manipulate them.
A very decent length game. Very good.

Lovely game with terrible glitches
I wish I had read all the reviews before purchasing the game. There is a bad glitch in chapter four and apparently in other chapters also. It is really annoying to spend £4 for a game that does not work properly!! I am very disappointed. I won't try the others.

Faulty
The game stopped working all together twice. Had to reinstall it once already and do the first chapter from the beginning and now it's done the same thing again right at the end of the second chapter it's very frustrating

Real good treat!
A very enjoyable puzzle adventure game, hours of fun so it's really good value. Very well adapted from the PC version. Was playing on iPhone 4 so was occasionally a bit 'laggy' but played really well for such a big game. Well worth £4.

Really bad on iphone6
Ive downloaded the game today and its a completly waste of money. Its frustrating to try to play it, as the areas to interact dont match on the objects in the screen, the menu bar at the bottom needs adjustament as it goes up to make use of the inventory, magnifying glass and settings buttons, to take objects the active area of the button is outside of the button itself, in the intros sequences it appears some black areas on the right and bottom side, and so on. I want my money back! :(

Iphone 6 + not working properly
Was playing this game fine on my iphone5. Now I have the iPhone 6 + I try to load the game and it freezes on a black and white screen. Then sometimes it gets past it the game is not working properly with the big screen, please fix

Doesn't load on the iPhone 6+ just get a white screen - pity as I love this game on pc.

Doesn't work well with iphone6
Unfortunately after playing the game this afternoon I've reached a point in the game where it crashed and shows only a tiny slither of the game and won't do anything. Prior to this, it was difficult to play as items on the screen had different "press points" to the side of them and not actually where they are. A complete waste of money until the compatibility issues are sorted.

Don't waste your time & money!
I went ahead & bought this regardless of the bad reviews hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I wasn't, after watching a VERY lengthy intro that you can't skip, the game crashed. So I reloaded, watched the lengthy intro again, game crashed. I did this four times before getting really fed up & deleting it! I have an iPhone 5s with loads of space so really shouldn't be a problem. Total waste of money, I'd like a refund please!

Such a Shame
I absolutely adore pendulo studios games especially Yesterday but my last 2 I've had to give up 2 thirds of the way through as it freezes or as in road adventure the wood near the cell just isn't there making continuing impossible!!! Please please sort this as I can't afford to keep buying games on the off chance they can be finished!!

I don't really write reviews and when I do it is only to shed positive light... However I feel I need to write a review for this one to stop people spending money on this game. I enjoyed playing all the other runaway games by bulky pix. I didn't have any problems with the other games crashing... Then there's this one... I was very disappointed, not only did it consist of an intro scene... No... Movie... That lasted longer than necessary and was not possible to skip or speed through conversations... But I got out of the hospital, into a laboratory and now the main character stands on a desk facing the wall behind him and the very my second I touch the screen you guessed it... It crashes... It's a very expensive glitch.

Great game! Bad glitch
As the title of this review states, this game is great, however, the crashing that players suffer from are killing my love for the game. I cannot be the only person suffering from these crashes, as they happen in the same point in the game every time!
Please resolve this glitch and save a great game's reputation!!

Brilliant adventure
Another brilliant adventure with only a few snags. I wish you were able to double tap to make characters move faster to their destinations,as it is as slow as when I played on the PC. Also, there needs to be more hints, but I do have google to help lol. It also crashed on occasion, but its never lost my game. i play on an ipad 3. Thanks to all for another gripping game though!!

Would be a great game .....
Looks like a great game , if it wasnt for the game constantly crashing and switching my iphone 5 off , then taking me back to the start off the game . Hopefully there will be an update soon to rectify this .I have enjoyed the other runaway games and look forward to playing this game properly .STILL CRASHES AFTER UPDATE !!!!

Very frustrating as the game keeps crashing and the only way to get past it is to start right from the beginning and hope it doesn't happen again! Nightmare! I love this game series so I'm disappointed. I hope there will be an update soon.
