Jester Glitch

Very fun game but… it’s not without its glitches… Luckily the team are very good at fixing these but unfortunately there has been one that has persisted for me with unlocking the jester character…. I have completed my 30 days and still it says I am 15 cards short of unlocking it… I’m sure this is an easy fix but it’s very annoying

Bugs making it almost unplayable.

Is a good fun game but bugs are making it a total waste of time, if you push monsters back out of the screen you cannot finish the level and get your rewards. This is ruining the game as you just don’t know if you will get able to finish the level or not.

False advertising

The game is fun so I purchased the “No Ads” as there are so many ads in this game. Turns out “No Ads” doesn’t mean no ads. During a match you sometimes get a forced 5 second ad, annoying but it’s only 5 seconds so didn’t mind too much. The “No Ads” purchase only got rid of the 5 second ads you’d occasionally get. It doesn’t get rid of all ads in the game like every other game I’ve played. If I want the double rewards after a match I still have to watch a 1 minute ad. During the matches the option to “take all” power ups I still have to watch a 1 minute ad. This is false advertising as how is it No Ads? The only ad I didn’t care about was the 5 second one. It’s all the others I wanted to get rid of hence the purchase. Wish I didn’t waste my money now as it flat out lied. There’s still ads 95% of the time. Cost £6-£7 to remove ads and it doesn’t remove the ads. I want my money back

Once again, another great game that falls short due to forced ads. So many games now have optional ads, which give you rewards. This gives the player the incentive to watch them. Get rid of the forced ads and you have a great game.

This is great fun but…

Buggy. When you complete a hard level and have to restart the app cos it’s bugged out, that’s frustrating. Monsters fall off the top of the screen, also get trapped down the sides of the castle.

Elsewise, it’s a bit “lite” on gameplay, but equally really addictive! And banana bombs just make me smile every time!

Lots of bugs but a good game

As many before have said, the game is fun however multiple times the game gets ‘stuck’ if you have too many of the mages special combined with ‘fire and ice’ it will push the monster off the screen or below and never to be seen again, the game thinks it’s still alive but won’t continue, also I’ve never used the ‘final’ spell of each character as it’s never come up

Charming idle game beset with crashes and ads

That’s about the shape of it. You will be served an ad roughly every seventy seconds of play time. Rounds will hang unpredictably, erasing progress and wasting consumables like tickets. And the IAP pricing is absolutely ludicrous - carpet-bombing users with ads isn’t going to make £13 sound like a bargain to get rid of (not even all of) them, it’s going to lead to unnecessarily negative reviews followed by deletion, especially with the lingering concern that the game might crash without registering a purchase. It’s such a shame, because the actual GAME is really charming and fun when I’m actually allowed to play it.

Fun game, but….

Pleased to see the developer working to remove the bugs many have pointed out below. The latest release is a big improvement, but unfortunately the “Oozifer” character is unusable as the game hangs without fail once the level is cleared.

Really enjoy playing, and look forward to what comes next!

(I’m puzzled about the 16th spell for each character and how it works as I’ve never had any as an option during the game…?)

Forced ads mid game

I was enjoying the game, got to the last level of the first area and started getting forced add during rounds. Instant close and uninstall, ads should be optional to gain benefits. A player should know that they’re about to see an ad and choose to, you’d get a lot more players and probably more revenue from purchases. I tend to purchase VIP and packages in games that do not force ads on you mid game.

Can’t finish levels

The game is enjoyable however after the newest update I am unable to complete any levels as it gets stuck on the last stage after I kill all the enemies. Great with issues

Honestly great game with good concepts. The progression is fairly linear and upgrades just make sense.

However that being said the inability to click continue when receiving the next unlock in a level or when completing a level can get incredibly frustrating.

The adverts mid level are a bit much also.

Fix a few teething issues and it’s a great game.

Edit: can’t progress past level 7 area 3. After all monsters are killed nothing happens and I have to force close the game

Can’t get any further

I’ve got to world 17 and can no longer kill enough enemies for a single upgrade before losing. All the characters are around lvl 50 and I’ve got all the runes. I think it’s just a mistake. It’s impossible to progress past this point. The most I can do is play 50 games to get enough coins to upgrade the castle but that doesn’t really help at all. A few adjustments to the enemies health and damage should fix this

Fun game, buggy as hell

Game is fun, been loving it so far and am on the 8th stage but it’s important to keep in mind that there is an option to revive by watching an ad. This breaks your run and makes it impossible to finish and you have to restart at the end. Also, if you deal too much knock back or use the wizard, it’s possible that you knock enemies past your castle and void the run because you can’t kill them and they are alive so the run never ends and they can’t damage your castle anymore. There’s also a bug where you are presented with the upgrade after getting enough exp, then doesn’t fully close the popup overlay and voids the run. There might be some I haven’t found or missed out, but these are the ones that make the game unplayable for me at the moment.

The game is fun, but it feels like it’s designed to attract people who buy a few packs before playing the game and just steal money from them. There are just so many bugs that make the game soo difficult to enjoy at times.

Buggy as hell

Not a bad idle game, but the amount of times it’s crashed/frozen on me is starting to get infuriating. It’s the sort of game I would put money into… if only I felt I could rely on it to run properly.

In order to beat the higher levels you need to really work on upgrading your dice, but especially with the Mage - the upgraded sides end up overwhelming the game with sheer amount of projectiles, the game can’t cope and it freezes.

Enemies are often forced off-map or behind the castle line… which results in freezing…

When you’ve put so much time into a level to get that far, and it crashes… it’s so annoying

Needs a hotfix for gamebreaking bugs

Overall a really fun idle defence fame with good pacing in progression. The characters are unique and the upgrades feel rewarding.

Unfortunately the game has gamebreaking bugs that make it unplayable. This is mentioned already in other reviews, but the screen getting stuck/blocked by the continue screen is really painful and forces you to close the game on 5-10minute runs leading to an immense loss of time. This bug is guaranteed to happen within 5 runs of playing. It needs a hotfix asap.

Once the bugs that make the game unplayable are fixed, its a 4-5 star game.

Good at its core but needs work

The game is good at the foundation level. Levelling up characters and unlocking new skills for them fills some time but the game is rather buggy during gameplay. Multiple times I’ve been locked out of finishing a level when a ‘click to continue’ window comes up and you can’t click off it. Also have just had it a few times where even if you defeat the last enemy the win screen doesn’t come up so you have to start again.

Would like to see more variation in levels or challenges as after a certain level you just get the same stages over and over again so progression from there seems kind of pointless.

Too many bugs

Firstly, I want to say that I really like this game. It’s got an interesting mechanic and addictive gameplay.

The forced ads are very annoying, but it’s to be expected of a free game these days. They are shorter than some games but take up to 4 clicks to skip the add.

I had some issues with the game freezing, which I thought was connected to the ads, so I decided the pay the one-off price to stop the ads.

Unfortunately the game still freezes, often at the end of a run so you’re unable to collect the rewards that are essential for levelling up and progressing.

Honestly hope they manage to fix the issues because it’s game tracking at the moment and not worth the time and money until it’s fixed.

Hoping another company releasing something with the same gameplay mechanic because I could sink hundreds of hours into it if it worked.

It’s fun if you can get it to work

It’s a fun game but ironically it’s also a roll of the dice if you can get through a stage without it glitching. I really enjoy the game. But restarting it 6 times in a row is just frustrating.

I’ve moved it down to 2 stars because. The marketplace is predatory. £60 for a full add block is gross Ame due to lack op response from developers on everyone’s comments makes me feel the game is just a cash grab

Fun but needs an update

I’m enjoying this one. Nice dice and upgrade mechanics.

The bug with the paired abilities locking you out is very annoying though. Will up the rating once fixed.

Also, with some configurations, it’s possible to knock the monsters through the tower, meaning they keep on marching and the level doesn’t end.

Bugs but fun

Only had the game a day and it’s really fun, my only problem is I’m finding that if you watch an ad to revive a run you then get a bug that does not let the run complete so it is then pointless to watch the add.

Also, add placement is wonky. Having it pop up mid run is really annoying….

It’s good…but it’s got issues

So I’ve had it a decent amount of time into this game, and it’s good the collections are nice the upgrades are cool, but there are some issues

Firstly, there are a few very annoying bugs one of which is that every so often when selecting one of the upgrades the “click to continue” stays on the screen this locks you from selecting anything and thus forces you to close the game. Another bug that I’ve encountered is you can optionally watch an add to keep your run going if you die, should you do this the level doesn’t complete and so you’ve watched an add for nothing,

Secondly the add placement in this game is strange, it will appear mid run as opposed to maybe after or before a run which is just very annoying

Thirdly I cannot progress in my game right now I’ve got to the last level of chapter 8 twice not and beat it but the run just doesn’t end so I cannot do anymore

My last issue with this game is the price of things I’m not entirely unopposed to paying for no adds if it’s not much and the game is good but I will not spend something like $50 which leads into the much larger issue that the whole shop just is massively overpriced when compounded with the previous issues if you want me to sink aaa game title prices for certain features in the game please make sure the game functions fully beforehand

Otherwise it’s a good little game that I hope has its issues fixed because it is very fun!

Ads galore

The game is pretty fun. Loop is simple but enough to be interesting.

But the ads are kinda OTT. You want to get multiple power ups, an ad. More spells, an ad, revive, an ad, speed up, an ad, daily bonuses, an ad.

Middle of a round for no apparent reason? Random auto play ad.

Normally I’d consider getting the ad remover package, but the devs are on crack with this one because instead of the £5-10 they normally are, this one is £50, as much as most AAA games. I’m not going to pay the same price as a game like silent hill just to remove ads from a mobile game when there are literally thousands of competitors to it which will charge a few quid.

Fun game ruined by ads and bugs

No matter how good a game is, if it has adverts that interrupt gameplay, it’s a 1 star from me. I get that devs need to make money, but this is a soulless business practice and it shows when some “dev” decides to slam an advert mid game. Ads should always be between action, or optional during menus. We hate ads, but will tolerate them for a good experience - putting them during gameplay ruins that experience.

On top of that, there’s a regular bug that has a “tap to continue” message appear but tapping does nothing. So any gameplay is lost at that point. Don’t bother downloading this, get one of the many games it’s cloning instead that doesn’t do either of these things.

Loved playing this game for mind rot but when playing on survival a click to obtain glitch sticks on the screen and you cannot do anything on the next level up

Buggy as others have said

It’s a good time killer but you can’t enjoy the game fully because you have to avoid choices that cause bugs and even then they aren’t completely unavoidable. I’d say 1 in 3 times I play I lose progress due to bugs.

Unusable due to bugginess

If you do anything to trigger this combining feature it will put a click to continue over the top of your game and make it impossible to continue playing. Not worth your time upgrading things just to not be able to play the game itself.

Enjoying game but on levels multiple times you finish level but game doesn’t register and just stays on game screen with no rewards and no progression

Very enjoyable but often crashes during upgrade section of battles. I will keep playing and hope for a fix.

Enjoyable but buggy

I have been enjoying this game but I have encountered a bug multiple times. After an upgrade, a “click to continue” will stay on the screen and not let you click anywhere. This means when the next upgrade comes, you cannot choose one and have to abandon the run
